Fayun Temple

Fayun Temple Pagoda, also known as Hou Chong Temple Pagoda, is located in Hou Chong, Jinshan Village, Xiangchang Town, 6 kilometers southeast of Yuexi County, Anhui Province. The stele of Fayun Temple, which was rebuilt during the Tongzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, reads: "Qianbei Hou Mountain Temple, also known as Fayun Temple, has a seven-level pagoda, built during the Xianhe period of the Jin Dynasty (326-334)". It is a county-level protected unit in Anhui Province. The Fayun Temple Pagoda is a pavilion-style building with a square plane, 7 floors, and a total height of 23 meters. From the second to the seventh floor, there are four gui-shaped doors on each side, each with 10 brick-carved niches, each with three Buddha statues, one large and two small, which are lifelike.
