Donggang Mountain, Ningbo | A hiking route in Siming Mountain without the crowds.

On Saturday, November 9, I drove from Hangzhou to Ningbo for a hike. I highly recommend this route to hiking beginners and families with kids. The route can be long or short, with a lot of options. It's easy and scenic! There is also an observation deck and a swing along the way where you can enjoy the view of Siming Lake. ⛰️ Donggang Mountain Forest Park, Yuyao (a niche route) I recommend going counterclockwise, as the scenery is better in the first half. 💛 Small loop: 7 km (the best part) 💛 Large loop: 10 km (the large loop) 📍 Detailed address: Donggang Village, Yuyao / 500 meters up from Donggang Village [Scenery and road conditions along the way]: Ponds, golden larch forest, fir forest, bamboo forest, mountain ridges, asphalt roads, wooden observation decks, swings 💡: There are not many people on the road, just a few scattered groups. You can hike freely and safely! ⏳ Duration: About 3 hours for an 8 km hike 🧳 Preparation: Trekking poles, hiking shoes, quick-dry clothes, sunglasses, camera 📷 📝 Tips: The downhill section is a bit slippery.
