Dutch Windmill Village

Departing at 8:30 AM on April 24, it's a half-hour drive to the Dutch windmill village, Zaanse Schans, located about 15 kilometers north of Amsterdam and a famous tourist attraction in the Netherlands. The village is renowned for its well-preserved traditional Dutch windmills, which were once an important power source during the Dutch industrial era. Visitors can tour the still-operating windmills and learn about their mechanical principles and historical uses. Additionally, the village features wooden shoe factories, cheese workshops, and other artisanal workshops, as well as traditional Dutch architecture, offering visitors an opportunity to gain deeper insight into Dutch history and culture.
