The Yingjia Yue Dong Guild Hall was built in the 42nd year of Qianlong (1777), with a brick and wood structure, a width of 1207 meters, and a total depth of 324 meters. Its characteristics are beautiful shape, fine materials, high craftsmanship, and solid structure. The guild hall faces south to the north, with a two-in-four courtyard layout. The entire guild hall is magnificent, with a stable and rigorous layout, integrating ancient architecture, carving, calligraphy and painting, folklore and other artistic elements. It is a masterpiece of ancient architecture, especially the comprehensive use of through-bucket, stacked beams, wood and stone, reflecting its high architectural level and artistic value, and is a model of Chinese ancient architecture. The museum was used as a local grain depot by the local authorities of the Kuomintang during the Republic of China. On June 5, 1947, the Yingjia Party organization, under the leadership of the special commissioner of Guizhou, organized and launched the Yingjia Uprising and successfully attacked the grain depot. The more than 3,000 dans of grain stored here by the Kuomintang were all distributed to the people, realizing the opening of the warehouse to relieve the poor, so the guild hall became one of the important addresses of the Yingjia Uprising.
