This time, I visited a local restaurant called Yakiton (grilled pork skewers):) You can enjoy various parts, starting with the usual pork intestines, liver, grilled skirt steak, grilled pork tongue, and salted pork! In addition to grilled pork skewers, they also sell grilled vegetables and simple snacks. The big advantage of this restaurant is that the prices are very cheap. 🫢 The grilled pork skewers are also very cheap, with all parts costing 130 yen. The soup is clear but rich and very delicious. The gyoza are wildly large and have a slightly strong flavor, making them a great match for beer or rice. The restaurant has 4 tables with 16 seats, and you can share a table, but it's a restaurant that you'll want to visit even if you have to queue. This is the real local Chinese food.

I like the taste, which I feel is like a more refined version of the authentic Chinese food in Ikebukuro and other places. At the end of the stairs leading to the basement, there is a beautiful space with several semi-private rooms. In addition to semi-private rooms and individual tables, there is also a table seat in the center that can be used as a counter, making it easy to use even by one person. There are many lunch options available, from set meals to noodles. My recommendations are Gomoku Soup Noodles, Mapo Tofu, Chili Shrimp, and Fried Chicken with Sweet and Sour Sauce. The photos show Twice Cooked Pork, Fried Chicken with Sweet and Sour Sauce, and Gomoku Soup Noodles. The Twice Cooked Pork is Sichuan style, so it's very spicy and numbing. There's a lot of chili oil at the bottom of the plate. There are a lot of Chinese customers, too, who eat large stewed fish pots and hot pots. It's not written anywhere, but you can have seconds of rice at lunch. This is a great restaurant that I would like to continue using in the future.

#tokyostroll I recently visited Cocofulu Café in Kita City, Tokyo with a couple of friends, and it was such a great experience! The café has this spacious yet cozy vibe that makes you feel like you're at home. It's so comfortable, we all felt like we could just stay there all day. The menu is packed with enticing options, especially when it comes to lunch and desserts. We were lucky enough to try their seasonal cherry pie, and it was amazing – a perfect balance of sweet and tart! You could tell everything was made with care. We couldn't resist also trying a few of their other sweets, which were just as delicious. Why I highly recommend Cocofulu: Relaxing atmosphere – It’s spacious but with a homey feel, making it a great spot to hang out for hours.
