That's why I chose Goemon, a hut located just 3 minutes away from my accommodation. It's a real local restaurant with only 3 tables. I saw an article saying that reservations can be made online, but fortunately, there were no customers when we went, so we were able to go right in. There is an English menu. There is no English menu for alcohol. There are only 2 types of lamb, raw and frozen, so of course we ate a lot of raw meat. My parents and children both enjoyed it. I gave the kids a local drink called Ramune, and my father a drink that was introduced as Hokkaido sake. It wasn't too sweet, so it was delicious. The finale was Yubari melon, a specialty of Hokkaido in the summer. It's reasonably priced at 500 yen for 1/8 piece wherever you go in Hokkaido. It was so delicious that I ordered more. My parents and kids both loved it. Lamb and Yubari melon are both the best
