The schedule is tight, so we only stayed here for two days. The first stop of the trip exceeded our expectations. The Arctic Ocean and the aurora surprised us every day🤩 Day 2: Teriberka Day Tour🚗: Since we didn't stay in Teriberka, we booked a day tour from Murmansk🚕. The chartered car was flexible. Our driver was a handsome 30-year-old Russian who was familiar with the road conditions. He could speak simple English and was very nice. When the road to Teriberka was closed, the driver suggested that we set off at 6:30 am and arrive in Teriberka before 8 am. We were surprised to see the beautiful sunrise on the way🌅! Day Tour Itinerary: 6:30 am Depart from Murmansk Hotel🏨 - Arctic Ocean Beach🌊 - Internet-famous Swing🏜️ - Throne🔱 - Shipwreck Cemetery⛴️ - New Teriberka Dragon Gall Beach🏖️ - Ice Waterfall🧊 - Lunch🦀 - Whale Skeleton🐳 - Internet-famous Windmill🏞️ - 3:30 pm Return to Murmansk Hotel🔙 It hadn't snowed yet, and the ice waterfall hadn't frozen, but Teriberka in autumn was also beautiful. The aurora hunter picked us up at the hotel entrance and drove us🚌 to a place in the suburbs of Murmansk without light pollution. At around 11:30 pm, the aurora slowly appeared🌠. At around 12 am, there was a big explosion, and even purple and red colors appeared. The hunter took many photos with his camera. We chased the aurora until 1 am when it slowly disappeared. We had only planned one day to chase the aurora and didn't have high hopes, but we unexpectedly saw the aurora explosion. Life is full of surprises🥰. Day 3: Murmansk City Walk🚶‍➡️: Murmansk is a small city, so you don't need to spend too much time here. Half a day is enough to visit the landmarks. The Altai Mountains are one of the most beautiful and remote mountainous regions in Russia, located on the borders of Russia, Mongolia, Kazakhstan, and China. 🍂Krasnoyarsk is a very artistic city on the banks of the Yenisei River. It doesn't have a strong Soviet flavor, and compared to Abakan or Kyzyl, it's more lively, with many Russians also coming here for tourism. In 1897, Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov was exiled to a small town near here for organizing a strike, spending three happy years. After the exile, he changed his name to Lenin, became the most steadfast Bolshevik, adhered to the revolutionary defeatist stance, and seized power in Russia in 1917. 🍂The center of Krasnoyarsk is a theater, with nine Muses carved on the walls and a statue of Apollo holding a seven-stringed lyre in front.
