It is located atop Snake Hill, overlooking the mighty Yangtze River. Originally built in 223 AD (the second year of the Huangwu era during the Three Kingdoms period, Wu Kingdom), legend has it that an immortal once rested here before flying away on the back of a yellow crane, giving the tower its name. This experience was simply fantastic, and I have to share it with you all. 🏠 Check-in Experience: Full of Design Flair As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I was attracted by the Southeast Asian-style elephant at the entrance—such a unique style. The lobby design really impressed me, with an elegant Chinese atmosphere, filled with the scent of ink and a leisurely charm. The front desk, lounge bar, salon space, and tea area are all both integrated and independent, making it feel like stepping into a cultural oasis. 🛏️ Room Details: Comfortable and Thoughtful I stayed in the Hyatt Suite, and the moment I entered, it felt very spacious and full of design sense. The room features many Chinese elements, from the books to the coffee table, all exuding cultural vibes. The minibar offers a variety of soft drinks, and the amenities are from Pharmacopia, very high-end. Also, the room’s soundproofing is excellent—no noise at all when sleeping at night. 🍔 Culinary Exploration: A Feast for the Taste Buds The hotel’s dining is fantastic, especially the Chinese restaurant Fuyue 1077. I ordered several dishes, and the peony tofu was quite special. The buffet dinner was the highlight, with very fresh Japanese cuisine; the eel sushi and sashimi were super delicious.
