"We really liked the hotel! The owner or receptionist (not sure which one was her) was really nice! she helped us with everything, from how we can go one place to another to raincoats, maps, tickets. She literally helped us with everything. The location is really good, only 1-2 minutes walking distance to Tianmen Mountain shuttle bus and cablecar location. Lots of restaurants around, pretty central. It was really quiet, we didn’t have any problem. There is no fridge inside the rooms but we were only going to hotel to sleep, so it wasn’t a problem for us. I highly recommend! 🤍"

"This hotel boasts excellent facilities. The modern Nordic design is sophisticated and elegant, and the rooms are spacious and spotless. With smart home controls throughout, a Serta mattress, and panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, my stay was incredibly comfortable. The service was absolutely impeccable; the butler was attentive and thoughtful, proactively upgraded my room, and provided a welcome fruit platter. Responses were always prompt and efficient. Breakfast was incredibly lavish, featuring local specialties like Hengyang rice noodles and fish noodles alongside Western options. The freshly ground coffee was delicious – every bite and sip was a pleasant surprise. The amenities are comprehensive, including a 24-hour gym and free laundry service, making it suitable for both business and leisure. "I came to Yueyang to compare several hotels, but this Haiyou was not disappointed. The room was cleaned and cleaned. It was still fully self-service, but there was also a front service. The front desk lady was super polite and patient. There was a request for immediate solution. When I came to Yueyang, I went to Yueyang Building to play. This store is also very close to Yueyang Building. It is really convenient, the price is very high, and the overall satisfaction is very good."

"The hotel's overall design is both spectacular and thoughtfully decorated, creating a very cozy atmosphere. The rooms have ceiling heights exceeding 3 meters and are incredibly spacious. The bathroom, shower, bathtub, and sink are all independently separated, and the facilities are modern. The hotel staff are very patient, professional, and attentive to guests. A special thanks to Mandy Liu for patiently coordinating the venue, allowing us to celebrate a travel companion's birthday in a foreign country! This experience left a deep impression not just of the hotel, but of China as well! We've decided to change our travel plans this year to visit China again! GGuest UserThis was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to China! Li Bo welcomed us upon arrival and made our check-in experience truly exceptional. He showed us several room options, helped us choose the one we liked best, and even treated us to delicious coffee. Despite the language barrier, he went above and beyond by communicating with us through a translator. He shared recommendations for local attractions, helped us order food, and even drove us to several locations around Zhangjiajie. His kindness, hospitality, and willingness to help made this the most welcoming hotel experience I have ever had! If you are planning a trip to Zhangjiajie, I highly recommend staying at this hotel. Thank you, Li Bo, for making our visit so memorable!

KKaopujun。Zhangjiajie East Gate Boutique B&B | 50 Meters from Scenic Area Entrance, Unparalleled Service, You Won't Want to Leave! For this trip to Zhangjiajie, we spent the first two nights enjoying a slow pace on the west side, then moved to the Guanzhi S B&B near the East Gate for the next two nights. This B&B positions itself as a boutique hotel, not just a regular guesthouse. From the moment you step in, you know it's something special – an artist's entrance, with an artistic atmosphere permeating every corner. The details are meticulously crafted. Many guests here are international tourists and discerning travelers who appreciate quality. It's no exaggeration to say this is the most thoughtful and attentive service I've ever experienced. 📍Location: 50 meters from the East Gate, 7-seater shuttle service provided The B&B is about 50 meters from the East Gate of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, making park access incredibly convenient. However, because it's so close to the scenic area, it's located in a restricted zone. ⚠️ You MUST use Didi (ride-hailing app) to get directly to the B&B's doorstep. Plus, the hotel offers a 7-seater shuttle service, so transportation is a breeze for families. It's also easy to find restaurants after leaving the park, as the area around the East Gate is full of eateries. 🛏️Bathtub King Room: Refined Down to the Details We stayed in a bathtub king room. The room isn't huge but is exquisite in every detail. The bedding is comfortable, and a relaxing soak in the tub at night washes away all the day's fatigue. If you need anything, just scan the QR code by the bed, and it'll be delivered in minutes – a godsend for busy parents! 👶Parents with Kids Rejoice! All These are Free! Forgot kids' toothbrushes, slippers, or shower gel? The B&B has it all; just ask the front desk, and they'll bring it to your room. There's also a 5 sqm kids' play area with a slide, building blocks, and a small rocking horse. Once the kids are in there, they won't want to leave. ☕️Good Morning · Good Afternoon · Good Evening, Service is Superb! This is where the true boutique hotel service shines through: 🌅Good Morning · Huanchi – Exquisite breakfast, with both Chinese and Western options. 🍰Good Afternoon · Afternoon Tea – Come back from exploring, enjoy tea and desserts, and instantly feel re-energized. 🌙Good Evening · Evening Porridge + Cocktails – Warm porridge for the stomach, a little nightcap, and finally some alone time for the adults after the kids are asleep. 📸Free Travel Photography + Ethnic Costume Experience! The most delightful surprise – free ethnic costume experience + travel photography! All original photos are provided, with professional touch-ups included! They even gave us a souvenir gift upon check-out. So thoughtful! ✅Countless Value-Added Services: Shuttle service | Free kids' amenities | Free travel photography | Afternoon tea | Evening porridge + cocktails | Souvenir gift… This is, without a doubt, the most attentive B&B I've ever stayed in. Ps: Remember to use Didi to get to the B&B's entrance~ 🚗 🏷️Tags: #ZhangjiajieTravel #ZhangjiajieB&B #GuanzhiSB&B #TravelingWithKidsInZhangjiajie #FamilyB&B #ZhangjiajieTravelPhotography #BoutiqueB&B #ArtisticB&B

KKelsey0000🗻Come for the the amazing views & park proximity, stay for the fantastic service 🚙‼️ 🛏️ The room had a super interesting layout- there was a sauna, a bathtub, and a space for a tea ceremony all rolled into the same room. It was very clean and spacious. 🍴🫧 Free breakfast and they will do your laundry for free as well! Just leave it in the basket outside of your door and it’ll be there washed when you return from whatever mountain. 🚙 THE CAR SERVICE. The hotel offers free airport/train station pickup, they’ll message you through trip.com for your travel details and someone will be waiting at the station to pick you up. They will also arrange a car to take you to whichever destination you choose in the mountain- they’re 10 minutes driving from the East Gate (Bailong Elevator Route if you’re trying to get tickets) or 45 minutes from Tianmen Mountain. They arranged cars for us in the morning both days. ☀️The hotel itself is situated next to some very beautiful mountains. Their staff were very polite and efficient! Our train got in very late (10pm) and through WeChat, we were able to arrange having food prepared for our arrival through the hotel’s restaurant. Thank you again!

MMandyLeeBeeExcellent stay at Barenju! The manager really made our stay, helping us arrange and book Zhangjiajie and Tianmen mountain park tickets early and was really responsive online, even giving a discounted rate to the attractions. One morning it was absolutely pouring rain and he even helped us change our time slot to the afternoon so we would have a better experience! He was always friendly, smiley, and helped us with anything we needed. The hotel was a 15 minute straight walk to the East gate which was really convenient. Also, right opposite a long street with really good, authentic restaurants. They have free washing machines and soap you can use to do laundry after hiking! The laundry room on the roof actually has an incredible view of the mountains, its a shame they didn't have a little table or ”hang out” space up there! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

IIvy Slow ChapterIf I could, I'd give it six stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Our Zhangjiajie trip was actually a last-minute change — we only decided to reroute here three days before arriving, during the second half of our journey. And honestly, choosing this guesthouse turned out to be the best decision I made. Right after booking, I reached out to the owner about the itinerary, routes, tickets — basically everything — and she saved us from so many potential headaches. When we got there, she sat down with us and went through the routes in detail, even pointing out some lesser-known spots that were totally worth it. That really helped us slow down and properly soak in this stunning natural wonder of a city. The location itself is super convenient — just a few minutes' walk from the east gate of the scenic area. There's parking out front, and the surrounding area is packed with shops, restaurants, and mini-marts, so you never have to go far for anything. The room? Clean, comfortable, and quiet — great for a solid night's sleep. Loved the smart home setup and the heated towel rack was a nice touch. There's also a few washing machines and dryers available, which was a lifesaver. They even put extra drinking water at the staircase for you to grab each morning before heading out, and you can borrow trekking poles and umbrellas too. But what really stood out was the owner and her brother — warm, thoughtful, and clearly running this place with a lot of heart. Thanks to them, we genuinely enjoyed our time in Zhangjiajie. I'll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family, and if we ever come back with family members, this will be our first choice. Wishing them all the best — may their business continue to thrive!

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a great location, convenient parking, and clean, tidy rooms with beautiful night views! The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the rice noodles were delicious 🤤 The receptionists were warm and attentive, always ready to answer any questions 👍👍👍 The hotel is right next to the subway station (Yingwan Town Station), making it very convenient for getting around and sightseeing. It's only one stop away from Orange Isle and also very close to Yuelu Mountain Park. This time, I stopped by on my way back, so the itinerary was a bit rushed. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time. 😊😊😊 The two night views are actually from my room window. I didn't take pictures of all the breakfast options, just my own 🤭🤭🤭

CChaya🇨🇳 Ho Perfect if you're entering via the East Gate! Beautiful rooms, amazing service. Keep this in mind for your trip! 📌 🛏️ 1. Exactly as pictured & Great value for money - The room is fantastic, very new, and spotlessly clean. I booked a room with a bathtub and got the 4th floor. It looked exactly like the photos. The price in late March was amazing—less than $30/night (getting a bathtub at this price is super worth it!). The furniture looks brand new. - The bathroom is great, with clearly separated wet and dry zones. It has a smart toilet with a heated seat and auto-flush! - Amenities are quite complete. However, the hotel provides disposable towels. If you have a larger build, they might not cover you completely (I'm petite, so it didn't bother me), but the material is highly absorbent. - Good to know: the building has an elevator, but you do have to carry your luggage up a few steps to reach the entrance, so it's not 100% wheelchair accessible. But once inside, you can comfortably use the elevator without carrying your bags up to the higher floors. 📍 2. Quiet location but easy to get around - The hotel is slightly tucked away from the busy, bright areas, making it very quiet and perfect for a good night's sleep. - Getting to the park is super easy. You can catch a Didi to the East Gate, and it’s very cheap—only about $0.70 per ride. - As for food, even though it's not right next to convenience stores or restaurants, you can easily order food delivery. If you want to eat out, you can take a Didi or walk to the restaurant area. It's not far, less than 1 kilometer away. 👩🏻💼 3. Friendly owner & Excellent service - The owner manages the reception herself and is extremely hospitable. She gives great advice on exploring the park. Whether you plan a 1-day or 2-day itinerary, she can recommend the perfect walking route. I planned a 2-day trip, so she suggested entering via the East Gate on the first day and the South Gate on the second day. - She is always in a good mood and genuinely seems to love her work. Her bright energy makes talking to her an absolute joy 🤣 I was so impressed! - Her English is okay for basic communication, but for convenience and speed, we used WeChat. The translation feature made it smooth, and we understood each other perfectly. 🎟️ 4. Better ticket discounts through the hotel - I highly recommend this! If you need tickets, let the hotel book them for you—the prices are actually better than booking through popular travel apps. - Whether it's the national park ticket (she also helps book your entry time slot for every day you plan to visit—though if you want to change the time, you need to ask her to update it for you), Baofeng Lake, or the Grand Canyon Glass Bridge, she can get them at a cheaper price. - Another perk is the unpredictable weather in Zhangjiajie. Letting her book day-by-day or close to the date means you don't have to risk booking too far in advance. I changed my plan easily because of fog and rain, and it was completely stress-free. 🚑 5. A personal note of gratitude (why I'm writing this review so long) Late at night on March 25th, I had a medical emergency. I reached out to the owner, and she was incredibly helpful. She actually left the hotel counter to take me to the hospital and helped sort everything out 😭🙏 (I truly apologize to the other guests staying that night!). I was so touched and grateful, and didn't know how else to repay her, so I wanted to write this review to pass on the good word. Summary: This stay was super comfortable and truly heartwarming. Not only because of how much she helped me, but the rooms and facilities are genuinely excellent. If you're looking for a place to stay, please keep this hotel in mind! ❤️

GGuest UserThe hotel's location is excellent for exploring Orange Isle and Yuelu Mountain, both directly accessible by subway. Downstairs, you'll find the bustling Wuyi business district, making it super convenient for sightseeing. The room's bedding was comfortable, and the night view of the Xiangjiang River was beautiful. I appreciated the smart room controls and the separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom. The only minor issue was the slow elevators, but the hotel staff were quick to respond when I brought it up, which was understandable. Overall, everything else was great.

EEduarda Carvalho[Parks info below] I'm glad that I checked out this hostel, good value for money. Room was nice and tidy, lots of electricity sources in bed and common area, curtains, hot shower. I shared the 6 beds dorm with just another girl, and you make your own bed. No toilet paper, no free water refill, no light in bed. It's worth the price. If you extend your stay directly in the hostel it's cheaper than the app. The reception area is more cramped but you can socialize there. Most of the people are Chinese but I also met some foreigners. The guy in the reception speaks English and can give you information, in addition to that I recommend you to do your own research. There are two baby cats playing around, and an adult one. You can get to the hostel from the west railway station by bus line 17 for 2 yuan - last bus at 8:40pm + 15 minutes walk. Location is close to the main avenue where there's a lot of restaurants, and a 24-hour convenience store close to the corner with this same avenue. There are two night markets in the city, one on the avenue like 10 min distance walking to downtown direction, more local, and another one on the street in front of the tianmen mountain cable car, more touristy. The hostel is 15 minutes walking to the central bus station where you can get the bus to zhangjiajie park and 15-20 to the tianmen mountain cable car station. [ATTRACTIONS] Zhangjiajie (avatar), tianmen (heaven's gate) and canyon (glass bridge) are 3 different parks in different locations. The entrance to zhangjiajie gives you access for 4 days. I went the 4 days and enjoyed it very properly. If you're short on time, 2 days will do, but plan it wisely based on your priorities. Gates are 1 hour trip distance from the central bus station - 1h30 at weekends. Also, note that before entering the park with passport and face scan, you need to do an APPOINTMENT for that hour. You usually do it there at the gate, but for a saturday all appointments for that hour were sold out in advance and I had to wait for 45 minutes to go in. Recommended to check in advance especially on weekends. There are 2 types of tickets you can get: including all cable cars and elevator for unlimited time for 450 yuan; or just the entrance (including only free shuttles) for 215 yuan - you still have the option of buying each transport at the park (75 yuan cablecar one-way, 65 elevator one-way). At first, I had understood that to see the avatar mountains, the ONLY way was through the elevator, so I bought the all-inclusive. Turns out you CAN go by free shuttle + hike + free shuttle if you start in the east gate. My favorite part was the huangshi village. For tianmen, the entrance is 260 yuan. Choose the route in advance because some sell out fast. Gold advice: go at least one hour or more BEFORE the hour that you have the tickets for. The hour of your ticket just matters before the very last point before boarding the cable car. The line was MASSIVE and it took me 2h30 waiting on a Monday - ended up getting in 2 hours late than my ticket time and couldn't finish the whole loop: took only the red trail and went down to the heaven's gate. About the Canyon, I can't say much because I decided to skip it and save the 210 yuan ticket - note that this price DOESN'T include the activities, you must pay separately. The package that includes almost* everything is 360 yuan. Last but not least, if you go to the 72 Wonders, there's also an entrance of 88 yuan. You can go/come back with the bus 17 - same line that serves to the west railway station, last bus 8:40pm.

GGuest UserI can’t recommend this place enough! Where do I even start? The location is unbeatable—so close to the main gate of the Avatar Mountains. Our room was incredibly comfortable and came with a great view, with every amenity we could possibly need. But the absolute cherry on top was the marvelous owner. She helped us customize an itinerary based on the exact amount of time we had. She was also incredibly thoughtful regarding my mom’s age (64yo), planning a route so she could fully enjoy the breathtaking views without having to walk too much (which was a lifesaver since the park is massive!). We followed it to the letter and we had the best experience! Don’t think It twice! You won’t regret booking this place! Thank you so much; without your help, we wouldn't have enjoyed the park nearly as much as we did. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Gracias ☺️
