I stayed at the Guoshi Hotel for nearly a month during my business trip, and the front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful. The cleaning ladies also took great care of me. There are plenty of great food options nearby, and the location is very convenient. It's truly excellent value for money.

I booked a standard king room and was upgraded for free to one with a window upon arrival. The hotel facilities are excellent, with three elevators, and the room's soundproofing was decent. The service was great; food delivery came right to my door, and they replenished bottled water for free when I ran out. The TV screen was a bit small, but it supported screen mirroring from my phone. It would be even better if the mirroring performance was smoother. Overall, the cleanliness was pretty good. Many small details were impressive, and the overall value for money was exceptional. It's a hotel worth staying at.

The lady at the front desk was so thoughtful, calling me in advance. The hotel is very clean, with disposable toilet seat covers and separate slippers for wet and dry areas. The room feels cozy and spacious. It's super convenient for getting around, with the subway and bus nearby, and taxis queuing right downstairs. Delicious food is just around the corner: 'Hai Wei Dang Jia' is within walking distance. Coming during the off-season, it was just over 100 [yuan], an absolute steal! Dalian is a city I'd love to visit again.

Excellent stay! The room was very clean and everything felt brand new. I'd definitely love to come back if I get the chance. I really enjoyed it and will revisit when I have time. The hotel even has binoculars available, which is a nice touch. Plus, it's conveniently located right in the city center.

I'm a local from Shenyang, and for Qixi Festival, I wanted to try something different. This time, I booked a Horizon Club Garden View Room at Shangri-La. The view was fantastic, and in the evening, I could even take a stroll in Youth Park downstairs. The hotel's location is excellent; it connects directly to Kerry Centre Shopping Mall and MixC City underground, making shopping 🛍️ and dining incredibly convenient. **Ambiance:** Shangri-La has a classic, slightly dated feel in its traditional Chinese decor, but it still exudes a stately and comfortable elegance. **Cleanliness:** Spotlessly clean and tidy. I didn't find any neglected spots in the room. **Facilities:** While the in-room facilities are a bit dated, the bedding, in particular, was uncomfortable for me. The standard pillows were very soft, and the mattress was also quite soft, which didn't provide enough support for a comfortable sleep. This can be easily resolved by requesting latex or buckwheat pillows from the front desk, or asking to remove the feather topper from the mattress. (I personally prefer a combination of firm and soft elements for bedding.) Overall, it was acceptable. The hotel's swimming pool is heated. I had researched it before checking in, so I brought my swimsuit. It wasn't crowded, the water was very clean, and the lifeguard was constantly by the poolside, very dedicated. My partner and I swam 30 laps on the day we checked in – it was fantastic. **Service:** The service was incredibly attentive. I arrived before 1 PM, and since there was a vacant room, they arranged for me to check in immediately. Although it was a connecting room, it was very quiet at night and didn't disturb my sleep. However, if available, I would still try to avoid connecting rooms. Since I booked an executive floor room, I had access to the 30th-floor executive lounge. I'm not an elite member, but the overall service and hospitality were excellent and thoughtful. They offer soft drinks and snacks throughout the day. The afternoon tea is simple, with soft drinks and some light bites, but sitting by the window on the 30th floor with its expansive view and relaxing is a truly pleasant experience. The evening Happy Hour can also be quite satisfying if your expectations aren't too high, offering hot and cold dishes, along with alcoholic beverages. Now for the highlight: the Horizon Club breakfast was truly something to look forward to! The à la carte menu offered high-quality dishes, and as a foodie, I was absolutely delighted. It's more distinctive than a standard five-star breakfast. I would definitely return just for this breakfast!

🏨 My Fantastic Stay at InterContinental Dalian My recent stay at the InterContinental Dalian was absolutely exceptional. As a seasoned traveler, I can confidently say this hotel stands out for its perfect blend of luxurious comfort, strategic location, and impeccable service. The hotel's location is unbeatable. Situated in the city center at Youhao Square , it was incredibly convenient for exploring. I could easily walk to the Russian Street and Zhongshan Square , and popular spots like Tiger Beach and Xinghai Square were just a short drive away .

Perfect place to stay! The view was stunning. The staff was super nice. The room was clean and warm at night. You can order food and it would be delivered right in front of you door, very convenient. Recommend!!

The hotel environment is great, with a lovely decor that creates a good atmosphere. You can even try on Hanfu, though I didn't personally. The staff are very attentive and resolve any issues promptly. Housekeeping cleaned my room daily, and I had a very pleasant stay for all five nights. As I was traveling solo, I was a bit concerned about safety. However, the door is very sturdy and has an alarm that goes off at the slightest irregularity. Plus, I could see the door from my bed, and it was close enough to the desk that I could prop a chair against it, which made me feel very secure. The room wasn't huge, but the layout was excellent, and the wet and dry areas were well-separated. Most importantly, I've never stayed in a room with so many tables – it was fantastic! There was always plenty of space for my belongings. The view outside the room was also nice. Although I was told there was a KTV nearby, I didn't experience any noise during my five-night stay. The hotel is very close to Xinghai Square, just a few minutes' walk, so I could go see the ocean and feed the pigeons whenever I wanted. The only minor drawback is that it's nearly a 20-minute walk to the nearest subway station, and about a 5-6 minute walk to the closest bus stop. However, taxis are very convenient here; I usually got a Didi ride within ten seconds. All in all, I had a very comfortable stay and highly recommend it!

As soon as I entered the hotel, the handsome concierge helped me carry my luggage, showed me the way enthusiastically, and told me where to eat and where to have fun. It felt like an old friend who hadn't seen me for many years. The check-in at the front desk was also very smooth, and they helped me arrange a quiet non-smoking room. It was very considerate and the service exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, spacious and bright, the bed was very comfortable, and the big bathtub was perfect. It was so comfortable to take a hot bath at night. I fell asleep quickly. It snowed in Fushun, and the snow scene was so beautiful. The facilities in the hotel are also very complete, with a gym and a swimming pool. I went swimming a few laps when I had nothing to do, and it felt very refreshing. The location is also good. There are shopping malls and snack streets outside, and it is convenient to go anywhere. Speaking of food, the breakfast is so rich that it makes people dazzled. There are all kinds of Chinese and Western food, especially the bread and desserts are great. The experience is very good, and the price-performance ratio is absolutely high. It is worth the money and recommended.

Their exceptional service made my trip to Shenyang so much warmer and they truly deserve the trust of every guest!
