Staying 3 nights at this hotel and location just close to Nanjing Pedestrian Walk and The Bund.
Hotel Receptionist is friendly and helpful. Especially at noon, one of the receptionist (She, Unknown her name) help us to call to a local shop which I forget to ask is there’s a VAT for the item I bought. Thanks to her.
Another receptionist, Nana help us to contact the driver during midnight to pick-up cause our flight is 6am although we booked during our 2nd day stay. Thanks for the arrangement.
Cleanliness of the room thumbs-up and very comfortable. During our stay, there’s a construction proceed from 9am-6pm but that is not an issue for us cause we at outside whole day.
Definitely will stay again.

This was my first time staying at this hotel, and my overall experience truly exceeded expectations. I initially chose it just for its downtown location, but I was pleasantly surprised by everything from the ambiance to the views. [coffee][coffee][coffee]
I stayed in the Bund View Junior Suite, and the most striking impression was the absolutely superb view and stunning night scenery. The bay window in the room was truly the highlight; the view was expansive and unobstructed. Sitting by the window, you could look directly at the Huangpu River and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. During the day, you could clearly see the scattered city buildings of Lujiazui, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Once night fell and the city lights came on, the entire cityscape was visible – the dazzling river view and the clear city nightscape were all laid out before you. There's no need to specially crowd onto the Bund for sightseeing; you can enjoy Shanghai's top-tier night view right from your bed or the bay window, peaceful and therapeutic. It's also perfect for photos, which instantly made me fall in love with this room.
The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, a prime downtown spot. There are numerous subway lines nearby, offering excellent connectivity. Whether you're heading to the Bund, Nanjing Road, Yu Garden, or various business districts and attractions, getting around is incredibly convenient, significantly cutting down on travel time. For those visiting Shanghai, this excellent location is a huge plus, making dining, entertainment, shopping, and travel all very easy. The location advantage is truly maximized.
During my stay, I noticed that the hotel's facilities were well-suited to travel needs, with great attention to detail. The hotel's smart robot delivery service was incredibly convenient; you could request anything with a single click, and the robot would quickly deliver it to your room, saving time and hassle – a great smart experience. What pleased me most was the hotel's complimentary laundry room and gym, which are truly essential for guests staying away from home. After a tiring journey, you can easily exercise to relax and also wash and dry your clothes promptly. This is very thoughtful and greatly enhanced the comfort and value for money of my stay.
Even more commendable was the hotel's service: polite, attentive, and prompt throughout. As soon as I arrived, a concierge staff member proactively approached to help with my luggage. The service was initiative and warm, making me feel very comfortable. The service throughout was not deliberate or perfunctory, striking just the right balance, gentle and thorough, without stiff formalities, conveying a very sincere attitude towards guests.
Overall, my first stay experience was perfect. The room environment was clean and comfortable, the night view was top-notch, the location was excellent, transportation was super convenient, smart facilities were comprehensive, the accompanying laundry room and gym were extremely practical, and the staff service was very attentive. It's perfectly suited for couples, friends exploring, or business travelers on short stays. It has silently been added to my go-to list for Shanghai, and I will definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Shanghai!

The hotel's location is excellent, right within the core Lujiazui scenic area. The Oriental Pearl TV Tower and the 'Lujiazui Three-piece Set' are all within easy reach, and subway access is also very convenient. The staff were all warm and patient. Vinnie, who checked me in at the front desk, was enthusiastic, professional, and efficient. My room was on a high floor with a great view. Although it's not a brand-new hotel, it's very well-maintained. All in all, it was a very pleasant stay. For anyone visiting Shanghai, staying here is really a great choice!

It was an interesting stay. Great location right off the shopping boulevard. The hotel has a bar and two restaurants. A spa, a foot spa, and gym. We had lounge access which was a nice bonus but not really worth the extra money. You get free breakfast, appetizers from 6-8, and lounge access for coffee and sodas from 1-930.
The breakfast was yummy. Offered a wide selection of food with regional dishes to western foods. One of the few places I’ve traveled outside the US that has actual bacon. We never waited but there was a sign saying there were peak hours.
Check in was great. I had an issue with a bag left in a DiDi and the front desk agent went out of his way to help me get in touch with driver to recover my bag.
The room much like the rest of the hotel feels trapped in that fake opulence that was popular awhile back. The shower was awkward because of its shape but it did have a rain shower which was nice. One of the few hotels I’ve been in lately that didn’t have the bath stuff bolted to the wall (though it probably wouldn’t fit). Huge tub and large fluffy towels. My daughter and I both left with some bug bites from our stay not bed bugs but definitely something. The biggest drawback to the room is the lack of functional outlets. One bed has no open plugs or usb ports the other bed has a wonky extension cord with some usb ports. Found one other usb in the room in the desk area.
The hotel is doing some work apparently later this month so hopefully they bring it into this century.
One thing I didn’t discover until the next day is there is an entrance from the back of the hotel right on the big shopping street. There’s also a cute little food court right there where you can grab a pretty decent variety of food.
One warning is didi and food delivery have a hard time with the address

We stayed with two children, and they upgraded us to a Little Yellow Duck themed room, which the kids absolutely loved.
The complimentary scheduled shuttle service was a thoughtful touch. On our first day, we wanted to go to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street. Just as we were about to call a taxi, the shuttle driver told us he could take us directly and advised us not to bother with a taxi, which was super convenient.
Heartwarming late-night snack: We could enjoy a late-night snack after returning to the hotel. They offered mini wontons and mixed noodles. The mini wontons were delicious, and the kids really enjoyed them.
Cleanliness: Overall, it was excellent!
Minibar all-you-can-drink: There were sodas, and for the kids, oat milk and cookies. The cookies were incredibly tasty!
Ordering takeout was also very convenient, with a robot delivering it directly to the room.
Another shout-out to the hotel: I accidentally booked an extra room on another platform but forgot about it. The hotel proactively contacted me, which was very considerate, and they even refunded me in the end. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for family travel.

My stay was incredibly pleasant, and the hotel facilities were excellent. The front desk team provided truly warm service. My entire stay was comfortable, and the high-quality service made my trip even more perfect.
I've stayed at this hotel multiple times, and each visit I've experienced the exceptional service from the front desk. The staff consistently deliver high standards of service, treating guests with politeness and respect, and making check-in quick and efficient. They are particularly attentive to the needs of returning guests, and any issues can be communicated and resolved promptly. The consistently high-quality service over time makes this my preferred hotel choice for travel.

This time, when I brought my child to Shanghai for a trip, I still chose the Crowne Plaza Shanghai Nanjing Road. After a tiring full day at Disneyland, we arrived at the hotel and were grateful for the room upgrade to a suite. After checking out, we realized we had left a bag behind. A big thank you to staff member #066 who helped us find it and even arranged for it to be couriered home. The service here is absolutely amazing! Thank you very much! ❤️❤️

This hotel is located on Changshou Road, within walking distance of Metro Lines 7 and 13, making it convenient to get to Jing'an Temple and the Bund. There's a wide variety of dining options nearby. The rooms are business-chic and spacious, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom and Australian toiletries. High-floor rooms offer excellent views. Public facilities include an outdoor pool and a gym. The breakfast spread is extensive, and there's a Thai restaurant and a Western restaurant on-site. The concierge and room service are attentive, though there can sometimes be a wait at the front desk during check-in. A downside is that room access is restricted to your floor, and parking is charged. Overall, the value for money is upper-middle among five-star hotels in the city, making it suitable for business travelers.

HHuifeidejinyuerThe B&B has adorable little bunnies you can feed, and in the evening, we sat in the courtyard chatting and even saw the Disneyland fireworks! 🎆 The Chinese breakfast spread was quite generous, and they even had freshly ground coffee ☕️. The surroundings are peaceful, and they offer shuttle service to Disneyland. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay, and we'll definitely be back this summer.
VvictorouThis hotel's location is absolutely top-tier among Shanghai's luxury hotels! Housed in the historic No. 2 Bund building, it boasts a century of history, directly overlooking the Huangpu River, and is right in the city center. It completely outshines newer hotels in Lujiazui and Jing'an in terms of both historical charm and convenience. What truly impressed me was the service – Aaron, Coco, and Emily from the concierge team were incredibly attentive throughout my stay. That's definitely a huge plus!
DDjay1231I specifically chose this hotel for my trip, and my experience after checking in was absolutely fantastic, earning it a heartfelt five-star rating. Penny's reception was superb! She even prepared a birthday card, room decorations, and a cake.
The hotel's location is excellent, with convenient access to transportation in all directions, making it exceptionally easy for sightseeing, shopping, dining, or commuting for business. Upon entering the lobby, you're greeted by an elegant ambiance; the overall decor is grand yet tasteful, and the public areas are consistently clean and tidy, making a great first impression.
The front desk staff are professional and enthusiastic. Both check-in and check-out processes were efficient and quick, with no unnecessary waiting. When asking for directions or seeking assistance, everyone was patient and meticulous in their replies, treating guests with humility and politeness, showcasing their high service standards in every detail. The guest rooms are spacious with excellent natural light and ventilation, and the soundproofing is very effective, providing a quiet retreat despite being in a busy area. Room hygiene was impeccable; tabletops, floors, and bathroom corners were all spotless, with no hidden dirty spots.
The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the mattress has just the right firmness. After a day of travel, lying down quickly helps you relax, leading to excellent sleep quality. The room is fully equipped with various facilities; appliances and bathroom amenities are well-maintained and provide an excellent user experience. The hotel's overall atmosphere is warm and pleasant; from the hardware facilities to the soft services, you can feel the thoughtfulness in every detail. My entire stay was comfortable and worry-free, and every aspect was flawless. This excellent hotel has already been added to my top choices, and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit. I sincerely recommend it to all fellow travelers.

네네르하I stayed at W Shanghai with my family and had a wonderful experience.
The location is excellent, and the twin-bed room was spacious enough for my child and me to stay comfortably. Although the hotel is a little away from People’s Square and Nanjing Road, it is connected to a shopping mall, which makes dining and shopping very convenient.
Most importantly, my wife and child were very satisfied with the hotel. The room was clean, modern, and well-maintained, making it a great choice for families.
The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and spoke English very well. Check-in and check-out were smooth and hassle-free.
There are also Starbucks and Luckin Coffee nearby, ㅣwhich was very convenient for grabbing a coffee.
I would highly recommend this hotel for both family vacations and business trips, and I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Shanghai.
AAnonymous UserI originally booked a Deluxe River View Room at The Peninsula, but to my pleasant surprise, I received a complimentary upgrade to a River View Suite! What an amazing bonus! The suite offered a stunning, expansive view directly overlooking the beautiful Bund, creating a fantastic ambiance. The hotel's service was meticulous and attentive, the facilities were top-notch, and the environment was serene and elegant. During the holiday season, I even received some delightful complimentary treats. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic – truly a benchmark in luxury.
DDaiwenThe front desk staff were very welcoming, and I even received a free beer coupon for the bar next door upon check-in. The location is unbeatable – I had a fantastic time exploring the Julu Road, Fuxing Road, and Changle Road area (JFC). There are plenty of dining, drinking, and entertainment options nearby. The bathroom features a wet/dry separation and excellent water pressure for the shower. The room layout is fantastic; the curtain effectively separates the entertainment area from the washbasin, creating a great viewing experience. My room faced the street, and while the soundproofing could be better, I appreciated that the blackout curtains were amazing for sleeping in late on weekends. The bed was just the right firmness, and the pillows were incredibly comfortable – highly recommend!
