I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to choose from each morning. The rooms were beautifully designed, clean, and very comfortable, making it easy to relax after a long day. The location is also a big plus—conveniently situated close to everything you need, which made exploring the area very easy. The staff were friendly, professional, and always helpful. Special thanks to Tim and the team for making our stay so smooth and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

The driver was very friendly and kind, and the shuttle bus stop was very close. The hotel itself was pretty standard. I stayed here for a layover, and it's about 20 minutes from the airport, which is quite close. The room window felt a bit thin, despite being double-glazed. The horizontal sliding window didn't seal very well, but luckily it's not cold this season.

I recently stayed one night at the Holiday Inn Shanghai Pudong Airport, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. My friend and I (two women) booked a Superior Twin Room, and the room was more spacious than we expected. The layout was practical, making it easy to store our luggage. The beds were clean and comfortable with just the right firmness, ensuring a good night's sleep. The soundproofing was also quite effective, and we weren't disturbed by any outside noise. The hotel itself was clean and well-maintained, and the cleanliness of our room put us at ease. The bathroom had a convenient wet/dry separation, plenty of hot water, and a full set of toiletries, making for a smooth experience. For guests on a short stopover or with a layover, these amenities are more than sufficient. The location is excellent for travelers catching flights, being close to Pudong Airport, which makes getting around quite convenient. It's a worry-free choice for those with connecting flights or early morning departures. The front desk staff were professional and efficient; both check-in and check-out were smooth, with no long waits. Overall, this is an airport hotel with good value for money, suitable for short stays or transit. Both the room comfort and service met our expectations, and I would definitely consider staying here again if I have a similar trip in the future.

Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. It's convenient, and the service attitude is excellent. I was traveling with two kids and booked two rooms, and luckily, the hotel staff arranged connecting rooms for us. Although it's a bit old, it's comfortable to stay in, and any requests were handled promptly. That's why we extended our stay in the same rooms, postponing our other plans. We stayed an extra day in Shanghai. The value for money at this price is really great!

Stayed at the Radisson Blu with a friend, and a big shoutout to Oliver for his incredible patience and for answering all our questions during check-in. Our experience was fantastic! He fulfilled our request for a high floor and a quiet room, and even upgraded us, which was amazing – the views and ambiance were superb. We also dined at the revolving restaurant on the 45th floor; the staff there were so warm and friendly, and their service was excellent. The scenery and food were both wonderful. I'll definitely be bringing my parents here next time!

LOVE THIS HOTEL! I was here with my aunt for 10 nights, with breakfast. Throughout our stay, we were well taken care of. Cleanliness lived up to expectations, and housekeeping was consistent, prompt and predictable. Whenever we had any request, our 31st floor Da Jie promptly and generously provided. Our housekeeping Da Jie even placed an extra box of tissues when she noticed my own tissue packet on the table. (So thoughtful!) Another detail that impressed me were how generous they were with the clothes hangers, and wall hooks! Sometimes, i find it hard to find a place to hang my towel and etc, but there were additional wall hooks in random places which turned out to be so useful; I think the Eton staff really thought it through for their guests. (See picture: one on toilet, one outside toilet, there was even a hook under the main door handle) Throughout our stay, breakfast options were also well varied. I really appreciated how the kitchen continued to replenish their dishes even near the end of the buffet breakfast period. Location is a plus point too. The hotel is easy to find for DiDi drivers, and if you’re travelling out, the Pudong Ave station is right outside the main entrance. With lines 4 and 14, you’ll find that you are well connected whether it be to tourists spots or otherwise. We also found a few eateries and convenience shops around, so buying water and settling dinner was easy-peasy. All in all, I get the feeling that this hotel is warm, hospitable and generous. I’m truly heartened by the experience here and I’ll be recommending Eton for sure.

The hotel facilities are complete and the hygiene is excellent. I booked a river view room, and the floor-to-ceiling windows in both the room and bathroom offered an unobstructed view of the North Bund, including all its attractions. Coincidentally, a navy ship was visiting Shanghai and open for tours, but I couldn't get a reservation. Still, seeing it from afar through the window was quite gratifying. The hotel's exterior windows were spotless, which was perfect for enjoying the views, allowing me to appreciate the beauty of Shanghai both day and night. The staff were all very polite, always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. Before check-in, they called to confirm my itinerary and ask about any special requirements. All the services were excellent, making for a very satisfying and pleasant stay.

This hotel is right above the terminal, which is super convenient! My flight was at 9 AM, and I checked out at 7:45 AM, still had time for breakfast before heading to my gate. It's perfect for anyone who doesn't want to rush in the morning. You can see the airport right outside the window, but the soundproofing is surprisingly good. No wonder so many international travelers choose to stay here.

CCiky2023Our romantic winter getaway began the moment we stepped into Dino Starry Resort, immediately feeling a warm welcome. Unlike a typical hotel's impersonal atmosphere, the staff here felt like old friends, making us feel right at home and completely relaxed. Getting to Disneyland was a breeze with their Mercedes shuttle, which departed at our pre-arranged time. Breakfast was plentiful, and our room was spotless and tidy. The overall environment was lovely, and there were even small animals in the backyard that we could feed for free. The biggest surprise, though, was experiencing authentic winter fun. We gathered around a traditional earthen pot stove, warming ourselves and chatting, or enjoyed a steaming hotpot cooked in a vintage hanging pot. On sunny days, we even had a lively outdoor BBQ with plenty of smoke and laughter. From the rustic charm of the earthen pot to the nostalgic feel of the hanging pot and the vibrant energy of the BBQ, this place had it all. Dino Starry is more than just a place to stay; it's a wonderful space where you can unwind, leave your weariness behind, and relive cherished moments. Come and gather with your loved ones here, and collect a whole winter's worth of warmth amidst delicious food and laughter!

AAnonymous UserThe Waldorf Astoria Shanghai on the Bund truly lives up to its reputation as a legendary hotel; the service is simply impeccable. I especially want to commend our dedicated concierges, Emily and Echole. From check-in to check-out, every aspect of our stay was flawlessly managed. Both ladies were consistently pleasant, warm yet unobtrusive, and professional without being stiff. Their presence made our entire trip effortlessly wonderful. This kind of service truly embodies the soul of a luxury hotel – absolutely fantastic!

GGuest UserMercure Shanghai Yu Garden on the Bund Best location and 5-stars to the patient staff that make a Shanghai visit memorable! Great communication with the hotel staff that made us feel most welcome with a toiletries package for a 4-night stay. Shanghai can be intimidating to intrepid travellers that don’t speak Chinese, which is why many foreigners join organised tours. We appreciate the welcome email prior to arrival with directions. We were spoiled with the 5-star cruise aboard the Yangzi Explorer discovering cities along the Yangtze River in a tour group with bilingual guides. There are so many optional activities in Shanghai, and these were the highlights suggested by the hotel staff that spoke in English and occasionally used a translation device for clear communication. They wrote the Chinese name which was helpful as we wandered the maze of streets in this old part of Shanghai. The staff were patient with our limited Chinese and Lucas helped us with Chinese lessons. These were the top picks, all within walkable distance, except ERA2. · TAN Sichuan in Yu Garden for dinner on arrival · The famous Nanxiang Steamed Bun Restaurant in Yu Garden for the traditional handmade xiaolongbao (soup dumplings) for brunch · High tea · Dinner at The Fellas (chateaubriand for two) rooftop bar with a a breathtaking view of the Bund and Pudong skyline · Jazz in the Long Bar in Waldorf-Astoria Hotel on the Bund, though we also went to hear the Jazz Band in Peace Hotel but don’t waste your money on the CNY480pp minimum spend where there was no vibe where even the musicians seemed bored. Great lively vibe in the Long Bar for a FUNtastic night enjoying cocktails and music with same prices we pay at home in a spectacular setting · POP on the Bund (Three on the Bund): Rooftop venue with 270° panoramic views of the Huangpu River and Pudong skyline · Yu Garden, People’s Square, Shanghai Museum and nightly walk along the Bund to view the futuristic Pudong skyline lit up across the river is an absolute must. · ERA2, Spirit of Shanghai at World Circus – 250rmb pre-pay on Trip.com with clear directions, every seat is good though there are 3 prices at the box office. #Mercure Shanghai Yu Garden on the Bund #Trip.com # TANSichuanYuGarden #TheFellas # NanxiangSteamedBunRestaurantYuGarden # Long BarWaldorf-AstoriaHotel #POPontheBund #ERA2 We love Trip.com! GGuest UserThe hotel is conveniently located, with shared bikes right downstairs and close proximity to famous attractions. There are also plenty of dining options nearby, which is really handy. The front desk staff are very friendly, and while the room is clean, it's a bit small, probably best for a solo traveler.

SsignxService: The best hotel I've ever stayed at! No exaggeration. I've tried many hotels in Shanghai, including Shangri-La (Jingan, Pudong), Ritz-Carlton (Pudong), Peninsula (Bund), Shanghai Tower J-Hotel, Grand Hyatt, Kempinski, Disney hotels, Westin, Kerry Centre, Sheraton... Apart from Banyan Tree, which I'm not interested in, and St. Regis, which I tried in Sanya, and Waldorf Astoria, which I haven't had the chance to visit yet, I've checked out almost all the hotels my child and I were interested in. Honestly, W truly impressed me. From purchasing the package and booking the dates in advance to phone communication, the staff consistently displayed genuine warmth and professionalism. They meticulously noted all my requests, ensuring accurate internal communication. On the day of arrival, I wasn't feeling well and my tone wasn't great. Yet, the front desk staff listened attentively and with incredible patience throughout. This level of internal training deeply impressed me. There was none of the arrogance I've experienced at the Peninsula or Ritz-Carlton; instead, it was full of understanding for the customer. I actually want to come back and stay again soon! 😂 I even joked with the hotel staff, asking if this excellent service was because I booked a suite. 😝 But then again, I had suites at Shanghai Tower J-Hotel and Ritz-Carlton too, and the service there was... well, let's just say it was different. At the W, it's not just the front desk and lobby; even the staff helping with the elevator and the cleaning crew in the basement are incredibly cheerful and sincere. I love this fresh, uplifting energy and team. Facilities: The facilities are clean and hygienic, and every room has a bidet toilet seat, which is a nice touch! Environment: Very clean, and most importantly, the view across the river is absolutely stunning. Hygene: The hygiene is excellent, very clean. And their response time is super fast. If I had to pick one downside, it would be that the配套 facilities at Magnolia Plaza are a bit too low-end, haha. They really don't match the W's standard.

GGuest UserThe Peninsula Shanghai, nestled by the Waibaidu Bridge, the Monument to the People's Heroes, and the Bund, might not be described as 'convenient' in the traditional sense, but I found its location perfect for soaking in the unique Shanghainese vibe! The service here is wonderfully old-school and distinctively 'Shanghai' – unhurried yet efficient, demonstrating a clear and deep understanding of guest needs. The rooms are classic Peninsula style, with well-defined functional areas, superb soundproofing, and impeccable cleanliness and maintenance, putting my mind completely at ease. The dining experience was a genuine delight; both breakfast and the Cantonese restaurant in the evening were so memorable. I particularly loved the evening bath ritual – pressing the SPA button and immersing myself in the tranquil, ethereal music, it felt like I was back in a cozy island retreat! My two-day Peninsula experience was a solid 12 out of 10. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shanghai who wants to truly experience its unique charm!

GGuest UserOur family stayed here for 4 nights, and it was a wonderful experience. The location is perfect close to Middle Huaihai Road station, and we enjoyed taking a pleasant stroll over to West Nanjing Road. This hotel was exactly what we were looking for: a peaceful atmosphere away from the crowds. The room features were top-notch, including individual air conditioning control and an automatic smart toilet. While there is no formal breakfast, they provide complimentary tea, coffee, popcorn, and soda, which was a lovely touch. The staff is truly the highlight of this place. They went above and beyond to help us with everything. A special shout-out to the young lady working the night shift she was incredible! She helped me order diapers and navigated the process until it was successful, using a translator to communicate with me throughout. I was so touched by her dedication. Some staff members also speak English, which made our stay much easier. Inside the room, the TV had great channels that kept my daughter entertained with cartoons, and the sound system was absolutely superb one of the best I’ve experienced. We definitely made the right choice staying here. I highly recommend this place and will certainly return. Trust me, you will love it here!

CCurious TravellerGreat location if you are heading for Disneyland or has an early flight to catch the next morning. Otherwise it is quite far from Shanghai city center - JingAn area- with no traffic - 45 min taxi ride) The hotel offers free shuttle to Disneyland which departs the hotel at 7:20am; and returns to the hotel at 10:20pm. It was a bit late for us since we finished watching the fireworks at 830pm. (Disneyland closes at 9:30pm ). So we just took a taxi (very few people waiting and cost ~RMB50; while the online car service costs ~R30 but the waiting area was very congested. The free shuttle to Putong airport departs on the hour and starts from 4 or 5am and takes less than 30min. Need to book one day in advance at the front desk. Our 3 persons family room has a double bed and a proper single bed( not fold up bed). Spacious enough for luggages. The negatives - we booked and paid for 3 persons - but hotel only offered breakfast for 2. We booked 2 nights but only has breakfast for one day. Strangest arrangement I have ever seen. BF - has reasonable options of Chinese and western cuisine . Noodle Bar was the best. Night snack- also has noodle bar with dumplings and congee.
