We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It was clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. We started with a little problem, but once brought to their attention, they took care of us. There is an elevator to the 2nd floor. The other option is 2 flights of stairs... With heavy cases, it would be challenging. There is an onsite restraunt and the food is good, a Mcdonalds close by and also a diner. Im not sure if it would be possible for them to make some changes, but here are some things we noticed. There is no ice machine. Had to ask at the bar for ice. It could do with a coin-operated washer and dryer. I tried to use the phone and was told it wasn't working for out side calls, needs an alarm clock in the room, larger extractor fan in the bathroom to remove the steam when showering, there was some mold on the ceiling because the fan could not remove the steam gast enough. The water pressure was not good.

Lovely stay recently at this hotel. Went on a coach trip for 4 days. The hotel was spotlessly clean and roomsca good size. We were lucky enough to have one of the refurbished rooms, but zi do know that some of the other rooms were a bit dated. However, the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and nothing seemed too much trouble. The young waiters and waitresses at dinner did a grand job, considering they were so young. The food was very good at breskfast and dinner, my only criticism, and it was only minor . Dinner was a bit early for our party at 6.30pm 7 or 7.30pm would have been better having said that I would definitely return to this hotel should the opportunity arise. Entertainment was very good on one evening guitarist/singer.

we booked a one night stay on a friday, book in was easy , the lady on the reception was nice and welcoming. we went to the room which was very dark having only one led cob ceiling light, we left our bags and went to get some food. the bar/restaurant area is all in one, the noise levels were ridiculous, lots of chavs being very loud, it gave us headache. Having eaten we decided that the nice relaxing night away was not going to happen so we went to the reception and told the same lady that we were not stayiing as it was not what we were expecting, se was very apologetic but essentailly we had wasted our money on coming to this place. If the village hotel wishes to attract people from areas other than its locality they should definitely do something about the bar/dining experience, its a real turn off

The room is clean and tidy, leaning on the beach, going out and turning right is the shopping street, very convenient, the only regret is that the parking lot is a bit far from the hotel, about5.6 minutes walk, a bit unchanged, and it is charged
