Our room was on the 27th floor, facing the city, with a distant view of Moscow's city center. My partner absolutely loved it! The hotel was much better than we expected, and the price was excellent – really good value for money. I was a bit worried about outdated facilities after reading some reviews, but everything was actually fine. It's clean, and for just over 300 rubles a night in Moscow, what more could you ask for? This is a 4-star hotel, and the room was well-equipped. The only minor issues were a slight smell from the drain and noisy neighbors who started making a racket around 5 or 6 in the morning. Otherwise, we were very satisfied. We stayed for five nights. There's a 'Green Supermarket' nearby, which was convenient for daily shopping and our favorite grocery store. Izmaylovsky Market (Antiques Market) is right next door, so we could pop back to the hotel to rest when we got tired of browsing. Getting to Red Square is super easy – just take Metro Line 3 directly, no transfers needed. The metro station is about a five or six-minute walk away. If I ever come back to Moscow, I'd definitely stay here again.
Good predictable hotel. Changed the room to a room with air conditioning for free. There are a lot of cafes and restaurants nearby where you can eat and spend the evening.
This is definitely not a 5-star hotel.
The room is generally clean, but the stains on the furniture ruin everything. You can hear the subway very clearly. There are no glasses in the room.
Breakfast is a 2-star. The selection is very limited. It's also a 2-star restaurant. It's edible, but the food is frankly disgusting.
I'm only giving it a plus for the spa and the wonderful Thai girls who really help your back, and the location. It's a historic place, after all.
Everything else is really bad. I have something to compare it to. If we're aiming for European prices, then we should match the quality. For example, in Vietnam, for that price, you'd get a wonderful room at the Marriott, where the food is delicious, the staff is friendly, and it's spotlessly clean.
My business trip was short, but the itinerary was subject to many changes. Especially in the later stages, I was eager to secure a room and overlooked the ”non-cancellable” clause, which caused some issues. Ultimately, thanks to Ctrip's customer service, who communicated and advocated on my behalf, most of the changes were accommodated. The hotel was also quite flexible, meeting our requests for extending our stay in the same room and granting a late check-out. Subway access is convenient, and the garden across the street offered a pleasant view, helping to ease homesickness. However, the Chinese restaurant downstairs is quite pricey; I wouldn't easily spend 100 RMB on a bowl of wontons.
The room is not big, you need to ask for slippers and toothbrushes, the breakfast buffet is quite rich, the hygiene is quite clean, the front desk service is not bad, everyone can speak English, so communication is not too difficult, the hotel is not far from the subway, about 10 minutes walk, the transportation is OK
Convenient for business trips, especially given its proximity to the exhibition center. However, the breakfast was a letdown; everything was cold, which isn't ideal for Chinese palates in winter. The cleanliness was also just so-so, particularly the tiny trash can in the bathroom.
Clean and big. The bed is small, only one bed for one person, we have twin beds. There is a washing machine, which is good, you can cook for yourself. There is a supermarket downstairs, which is very convenient for eating. The breakfast is a bit simple, one per person, and there are not many choices. Convenient transportation, there is a subway downstairs. Very satisfied, it is unexpected to have slippers.
The apartment was very convenient. You could cook noodles, and there was a microwave. Downstairs, there were restaurants, and a supermarket wasn't far away. There's also a park nearby, and it's just one stop from the exhibition center, very close. The environment is great. However, the front desk didn't speak English, and breakfast was a bit basic. I'd suggest buying groceries at the supermarket and making your own meals. It's about a 15-minute walk from the subway station. One of the subway exits leads to three shopping malls.
During my stay, my towels were never changed, and no one cleaned the room. I initially thought this apartment didn't offer such services. But then I stayed at Ye's Technology Park branch, and they did offer cleaning and towel changes, and it was excellent. Here, when I requested cleaning, shower gel, and towel changes, they only changed the towels. The cleaning was completely skipped, and I had to go downstairs myself to get shower gel. Next time, I'll definitely stay at the Technology Park branch.
P.S. The food at the downstairs restaurant is quite good.
All was good. We liked the view from the rooms and the breakfast. You need approx. 15 Min by car to the Red Square. Shops, drugstore and metro quite close.

GGuest UserThe hotel is extremely hot. Every day I wake up sweating. They turn on the heating, but it's not evenly distributed. I've told them three times, but to no avail.
Other guests have also told them, but there's no response.
There's an employee named Erkhan who is wonderful and very polite. He helped me repeatedly without any sign of fatigue or boredom. He says, ”If you need anything, don't hesitate to ask me.”
However, the employee on duty on Thursday, November 27th, was terrible, disrespectful, and uncooperative.
KKartigeyan PerumalWonderful Stay at Mercure Arbat Hotel, Moscow – Highly Recommended!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
My stay at Mercure Arbat Hotel in Moscow was absolutely delightful. The location is excellent — just steps away from Smolenskaya Metro Station and within walking distance to Arbat Street, making it easy to explore the city.
The staff were friendly, professional, and very helpful throughout my stay. The room was stylish, clean, and well-maintained, with comfortable bedding and modern facilities. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere and cozy environment, which made for a perfect night’s rest.
The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide selection of fresh and delicious items to start the day. The hotel also has a great lobby area and a small fitness center that’s perfect for a quick workout.
Overall, it was a pleasant and comfortable experience. I would definitely recommend Mercure Arbat to anyone visiting Moscow — a true 4-star quality with 5-star service!
GGuest UserFacilities: This is a well-established hotel. While it offers all the essential amenities, its style and decor definitely show their age.
Cleanliness: The hygiene conditions were excellent, and daily housekeeping was very thorough.
Location: Situated very centrally in Moscow, it boasts convenient transportation and lovely views. The only slight drawback is the occasional noise from motorcycles roaring past outside the window, but I understand this is often unavoidable in such a prime location.
Service: My interaction with the service staff was limited due to a language barrier and not having opted for breakfast, so I can't comment extensively on their service quality.
GGuest UserThe hotel is absolutely beautiful, its location is very convenient, everything is close by, you don't need a car or anything, it's all within walking distance. Plus, it's clean, the rooms are cleaned daily, and the reception staff are friendly and helpful. I absolutely don't regret booking with them. I've made them my go-to hotel now, every time I come to Moscow I'll book with them. ❤️❤️❤️
11346661****Facilities: An old five-star hotel, with a gym, conference hall, sauna, spa, and everything else. The decoration and layout of each room are different in color, and there are surprises when you open the door. The bathroom of the traditional suite we booked this time is really too early 20th century style. My family doesn't like it and thinks it's old-fashioned, but I like it very much. Antique furniture, sofas and beds are very comfortable, and the bedding must have a high thread count.
Hygiene: The hair of the previous guest floated on the bathtub plug, and it was obvious that I don't have brown hair. A condom package fell in a hidden place under a bedside table. The helper gave many bottles of water every day, and the night bed service would feed chocolate.
Environment: The location is very good. There is a statue of Marx when you go out, the Bolshoi Theater is next to it, and the Red Square is a five-minute walk away. If you are tired of shopping, you can go back to rest and continue. The breakfast restaurant is particularly good, providing caviar and champagne, and live harp performances.
Service: The sound insulation is not good, and cars randomly throttle in the rooms facing the street at night. The rooms facing the inside are downstairs from the lobby, and the sound of the party is deafening. The front desk staff can only change rooms. Who wants to pack their luggage in the middle of the night every day? The front desk staff at the fitness center on the first floor of the basement is very considerate and will take you around step by step.
MM38586****The space at this place is huge, and the ambiance is really great. The whole experience was incredibly comfortable, and the price was excellent too. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but they did have caviar available.
LLiliyaxiaojieI booked this hotel based on Ctrip reviews, and it seems many Chinese tourists stay here. The location is decent. Housekeeping was slow. There are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. The Frank's BBQ ribs place that previous reviewers mentioned was okay. However, the staff there were very disrespectful to Chinese customers. I called for the bill five times in Russian over twenty minutes, but no one came. When they finally did, they just showed me their phone with Chinese text asking for a tip. Absolutely terrible service! I didn't book breakfast and, following other reviewers' advice, I just ate at the supermarket.
GGuest UserA very pleasant hotel in the very center of the capital. Security starts at the gate. Guests without a room card or those who are not on the list of people booking a room will not be admitted. The second stage of verification at the entrance to the hotel. Luggage strap, like at airports, frame for the guest. Everything is beautiful and cultural. Receptionist is nice, fast and polite. Car parking fees for the center of Moscow are reasonable. You can enter and leave as many times as you like. Security at the entrance checks the number with the database. The Deluxe room itself was quite spacious. The view of the monument to Peter is impressive. The bathroom and toilet are clean. There is both a bath and a shower. Bottled water, kettle, tea/coffee, cream, sugar. Curtains block light well. There is a wellness center on the 14th floor. I would like the water in the pool to be a little warmer. Even an adult felt cold. But after 5 minutes you get used to it. And I would like the size of the pool to be larger. I think its purpose is to take a dip after the sauna. Of which there are 2. It could have been hotter) That’s how picky I am. The buffet breakfast is quite impressive. And porridge, and meat, and milk... The baked goods are delicious. Coffee from a coffee machine. Juices from good brand bags. Overall, definitely 5 points. Would I come back here again? Provided the price is up to 10 thousand rubles per room - yes.
