I had a great stay at the Sheraton in Huzhou, which sits right on the beautiful Taihu Lake. The hotel itself is a major attraction, and every room comes with amazing views and excellent facilities. The villas are especially impressive, each one has its own hot spring and a private swimming pool, which makes the experience even more relaxing. The hot spring area at the hotel is super comfortable, and the night light show is absolutely spectacular. Walking around the lake and around the hotel feels peaceful and enjoyable. A special thanks to Ms. Lucy Liu from the front office. She speaks good English and acted almost like a personal butler during my stay. She helped with everything, planning the hot spring visit, suggesting nearby boating options, and offering support whenever needed. Her kindness really made my stay even better. This hotel is great for solo travelers, couples, and families. Highly recommended!

As soon as you enter the hotel lobby, you have a feeling of class, the decoration is very exquisite, the front desk brother is very welcoming, and the room looks very fresh, clean and tidy. The room was also very clean, with large floor to ceiling windows overlooking the city at night, and the bed in the hotel room was very comfortable, which was a very good experience.

Iāve stayed in the Grand Pacific a few times over the years. Great service (though wanting to carry my laptop bag is over the top), excellent breakfast (Chinese and western), the pool is good, the gym okay but equipment dated. Best hotel in Yuyao for foreign visitors if you canāt speak any Chinese.

I booked a room with a view of Ruifeng Ancient Town, and the experience was quite good. The room was quite spacious, and the balcony offered a view of Taihu Ancient Town. It was quite a surprise to see the iron flowers and fireworks on the balcony at night. The housekeeper, Xiao Zhou, was also very considerate. From before check-in to the end of the trip, he patiently answered all my questions and introduced information about food, drink and entertainment in the surrounding area. Five-star praise.

GGuest UserOur party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024. Ā We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous åÆę„å±±å±
å painting. Ā We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in. Ā I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops. Ā Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us. Ā Not a soul was in sight. Ā Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed. Ā From there on, however, things only got better and better. Ā So, yes, this was a quiet property. Ā There wasnāt a lot of staff standing about. Ā But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected. Ā And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient. Ā During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out. Ā The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand. Ā Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance. Ā The layout was a bit of a labyrinth. Ā There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display. Ā Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake. Ā The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space. Ā Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards. Ā Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?). Ā They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night. Ā There was also a little childrenās playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater. Ā Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds. Ā Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace. Ā Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel. Ā Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular. Ā We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didnāt really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip). Ā We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality. Ā Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable. Ā In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area. Ā In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort. Ā We were very comfortable during our short stay. Ā We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff. Ā We would love to return. Ā It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions. Ā Lastly, for those interested in the åÆę„å±±å±
å, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)

WWutongxiyangThe service here is quite unique. At first, it didn't feel as warmly welcoming as a Four Seasons, Aman, or Banyan Tree. However, after staying for two days, the responsiveness was excellent, and it actually felt more in line with the Naked Stables' vibe, helping us connect more with nature. Keira also upgraded us to a treehouse villa, which had barbecue facilities and a kitchen, making it perfect for families with multiple children. The spacious activity area made our vacation even more relaxing. Room service was good, and the timing was fine. The organic vegetable salad for breakfast was great, and the bread was baked in-house. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, the breakfast at Banyan Tree is quite underwhelming. The hotel offers a wide range of activities, including archery, horseback riding, off-roading, and hiking. We also visited Naked Castle, which was very photogenic and suitable for younger people, and great for escaping the summer heat. All in all, it was a perfect vacation. The only minor issue was the air conditioner noise from under the villa, which is a common problem with this type of product. Hotels like Chuanyu, Shaoxing An, Sanya Banyan Tree, and Yangzhou Slender West Lake Resort all have similar issues. It's difficult to rectify, as the air conditioning units need to be placed in a public area or on a separate foundation during the hotel's construction to avoid vibration and noise problems.

We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles. Ā
**Room Comfort:** Ā
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.

The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.

The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.

While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didnāt detract significantly from our enjoyment.

This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.Ā
In addition to comfortable accommodations and expected amenities, the hotel provides a relaxing environment for guests of all ages.

Mmiemie7The Grand Hyatt's location is truly excellent, with West Lake right in front and Intime (department store) behind it. In the mornings, I enjoyed jogging along the lake, and in the evenings, I'd go to Zhi Wei Guan for dinner and stroll around to admire the West Lake night sceneryāit was truly beautiful! I stayed in a lake-view room, and I could even see the hotel's pool from there. When the morning sun streamed onto the balcony and into my room, and I watched people jogging by West Lake, I felt life just slow down. The hotel's cleanliness and service were both great. For breakfast, the tofu pudding and Cantonese fish congee were the best, and the coffee was also very fragrant. The only minor downside was the lack of cooked shrimp or fish, and fewer 'hard' dishes (main courses) at breakfast.

GGuest UserWe are an anglophone/francophone family of 4 (with two kids under 5 years) and had an incredible stay at Anji Banyan Tree. The outdoor pool was a highlight of the trip for our whole family. The staff were all very attentive - best service weāve had from any hotel in years - they were friendly and anticipating what we may need for our children, offering options for vegetarian meals for my husband, etc. Specifically, Ida was our personal concierge during the trip and did a really wonderful job providing information and facilitating experiences for us the whole time. She was amazing. The facilities for children were excellent - tons of fun things to do and peacocks and bunnies roaming the property. Really canāt say enough about the service (especially Ida!), the quality of food (omg the breakfast buffet - there is even a mimosa bar and self serve soft serve ice cream!), the welcome gifts and special touches like burning essential oils in the room every evening, and the VIEW! We will definitely be back.

A special shout-out to the hotel staff, especially 77Ziva, for their thoughtful and meticulous service throughout our stay, even providing us with a travel guide. The crispy duck and fish head soup at the Chinese restaurant were exceptionally delicious. The fish head soup, in particular, was served simply, with no extra ingredients like fish balls or tofu, just two slices of tomato as a garnish on top. Yet, its flavor was incredibly rich and had absolutely no fishy taste. The fish head itself was perfectly white, tender, and the texture and seasoning were just right. Truly delicious! It's definitely worth coming back for.

After parking, the hotel provided dedicated internal shuttles for pick-up and drop-off, making it completely hassle-free and elevating the whole experience.

Eating breakfast while watching the clouds and mist dance through the valley was profoundly therapeutic.
Breakfast offered a rich and diverse selection, a perfect blend of Chinese and Western options, ensuring you'd never get tired of it. I must especially commend the rice noodles ā with three distinct toppings, each bursting with fresh, savory flavor that left me craving more! I ordered them two days in a row; the more I ate, the more I loved them š.

If you're looking for a romantic getaway for an anniversary, or a relaxing weekend road trip within the Jiangsu-Zhejiang-Shanghai region, this place is absolutely perfect! There's no need to meticulously plan an itinerary; the hotel itself is a 'self-contained holiday haven'.
The complimentary activities alone are enough to fill a day: archery, billiards, craft-making... each one was engaging and fun. The paid activities were also reasonably priced. We tried both pottery and the spa, and highly recommend them. The entire experience was both relaxing and engaging, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves and truly 'slow down and savor the moment'.

**Pottery & Painting Instructor Deng Chensi Sam**: Very professional, explained everything in detail, and gave us lots of inspiration and suggestions. He even thoughtfully added us on WeChat so we could track the firing and delivery progress of our pieces at any time. He truly embodies 'delivering peace of mind'!
**Archery Instructor š¹**: He was absolutely fantastic! His instruction was very professional, and the atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. We even participated in an archery competition and surprisingly won a prize! He called immediately to inform us and personally delivered the prize to our room. That moment truly warmed our hearts~

AAnonymous UserIt was overall an alright stay, donāt expect Japanese standards. Apparently they had a soft opening period and just opened on April 15. You can see that things arenāt running so smoothly yet, trip.com shows that spa needs to be booked a day in advance, but on WeChat they said no reservations required and we can use anytime. The second day we wanted to use the spa our second time, and was told by a staff we couldnāt use it again, which we were confused about. Later other staff said we could.
The spa itself had spectacular views, but the outdoor pool weirdly had half eaten and rotten apples floating around. After talking to the spa staff they said it was for aesthetic purposes and guests must have eaten them without knowing that. Worrying hygiene standards šØ apart from that overall hygiene seems to be alright.
All rooms have our own private courtyard so there are two doors, the main wooden door and then the glass door to our actual room. The main wooden door broke down twice - we couldnāt lock it (more like they didnāt fix the problem fully the first time), which wasted our time as we had to sit around to watch the maintenance staff fixing our door.
Breakfast was okay but half the dishes were way too salty for my taste. Weird mix of āWesternā, āJapaneseā and Chinese dishes. Cheaper to buy on the spot (168 yuan as of today).
Service was not up to the standard of a hotel of this price point. The staff welcoming us seems like she was reading from a script, we couldnāt hear half the time even after asking her to enunciate clearer twice. Felt like they were here to monitor us more than take care of us. Instead of āhow may I help you?ā, they actually responded āwhatās wrong?ā on two separate occasions. I donāt think this is acceptable! Some staff also do not greet guests properly.

The staff were proactive and warm; they found out it was my child's birthday during our trip and immediately thoughtfully sent over a small gift! The environment is also clean and comfortable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Yiwu!
