The hotel package price was very affordable, so I saw a lot of senior tour groups. It's located near a residential area, and attractions like Guzicheng require a drive. There are many restaurants nearby. Pets stay free. However, Yongsheng Shopping Plaza is still about a 30-minute walk away.
Location: Generally, it's near a residential area and a bit far from attractions (-0.7). Navigation was clear, and there's a convenient parking lot within the hotel grounds.
Hygiene: The bedding was clean, and the floors were tidy. They also offer to clean the room after you've woken up, which is quite thoughtful.
Service: The hotel front desk staff were very diligent. During check-in, they followed a standardized script and sent a detailed page of information via WeChat, including breakfast and Wi-Fi details. Their response time during my stay was also very fast. It would be even better if they could check reservation notes during check-in to provide the appropriate room type. However, the most annoying part of the service was receiving daily WeChat messages pressuring guests for 5-star reviews (-0.5).
Facilities: They have smart home features and well-equipped energy-saving devices, as well as accessible facilities. However, the smart toilet only had an automatic flush function (-0.2). Also, there were no screens on the windows, so opening them for ventilation could let in mosquitoes and other insects (-0.3).
Comfort: It has a budget hotel design. The room was a bit compact but generally clean. The soundproofing was a bit lacking (-0.2).

"I spontaneously decided to visit Zhoushan, and my usual hotel was fully booked. I noticed the newly opened Angsana hotel, part of the Banyan Tree group, and it was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is located halfway up the mountain, with rooms overlooking the sea and backed by the mountain. Each room has its own hot spring bath, and the environment is excellent. Upon check-in, Sarah and Mia, two lovely ladies, very patiently explained the hotel's facilities and some of the family-friendly activities. They even escorted us to the elevator for our room floor, which was a very thoughtful touch. 🥰 Thank you!"

The hotel service was also excellent; you can request a car transfer anywhere within the hotel grounds at any time. Our butler, Helen, provided thoughtful and enthusiastic service from even before our arrival, proactively offering information to ensure a smooth trip. She continued to follow up on all our needs throughout our stay, making this vacation truly delightful! The hotel's Tingtao Pavilion restaurant was also fantastic. We had dinner there twice, and the chef's recommended dishes were truly delicious and well worth trying."

"Located by the Oujiang River, near the Jiangxinyu Island ferry terminal.
From the moment I stepped out of the car, a delightful aroma filled the air. The lobby offered floral tea, and there was a bellhop to assist with luggage.
The river view room overlooked the Oujiang River. The room size was just right, the soft drinks in the fridge were complimentary, and the bathroom amenities were neatly arranged with soft lighting. There were plenty of charging outlets.
The room provided bathrobes, an iron, comfortable slippers, and quality toiletries.
There's a window in the room for ventilation.
Breakfast offered a rich variety, blending Chinese and Western options with local specialties like glutinous rice, pork offal noodles, fish balls, lard cakes, and lamp-shaped cakes. The coffee even came with a to-go cup, which was a thoughtful touch.
The staff were warm and responsive."

"My three-day, two-night stay in Wenzhou was absolutely perfect!
1. For two adults and one child, the hotel provided two days of complimentary breakfast for the little one, which was very nice.
2. The breakfast was incredibly delicious, featuring Wenzhou specialties like 'pig offal noodles' (zhu zang fen), glutinous rice, fried rice, and rice noodles, as well as small seafood like pomfret and squid. Everything tasted great; the chef must be quite skilled. Among the many five-star hotels I've stayed in, this breakfast ranks in the upper-middle tier.
3. They offered complimentary desserts in the evening, which were also very tasty. Similar to point 2, the chef here must be very talented.
4. It's very close to the South Station, about a 10-minute drive. It's not very close to the city center, but precisely because of that, the price is a significant advantage. Similar five-star hotels in the city center are generally older and slightly more expensive. Trust me, the price difference is more than enough to cover taxi fares, and it's not far to popular attractions like Wuma Street and Jiangxin Island by taxi. Plus, the experience of a new hotel versus an old one is completely different.
5. Hotel staff always helped open car doors when we were getting in and out of taxis, making us feel right at home. They were always smiling.
6. The hygiene and environment were both excellent.
In short, if you're planning a trip to Wenzhou, you can confidently book this hotel. I honestly spent ages comparing hotels before booking this one, and I genuinely recommend it!!!"

GgeorgeshenThe hotel was fully booked on the day of our check-in, and we arrived over an hour early. Several staff members introduced us to various activities to pass the time, including a dedicated room for movies, board games, and a swimming pool. While waiting for our room, the service and amenities at InterContinental Danyang were exceptionally warm and thoughtful.
The room was a family lake-view suite, accommodating four people. The hotel's location, far from the central lake area, was incredibly tranquil, with no tourists by the lake. Away from city light pollution, we surprisingly saw the Milky Way on our first night, a rare sight in East China.
The swimming pool offered different children's activities daily. The botanical garden had a vast array of flowers and butterflies, along with a koi and swan pond where we could feed the fish. The hotel's two wings also featured a lighthouse and an observation deck.
The buffet dinner had everything we could ask for, and on Chinese Valentine's Day, they even gave out roses. The fish head dish at the Chinese restaurant was absolutely superb. Breakfast deserves special praise; despite the hotel being fully booked, we could order noodles via our phones, and the staff proactively asked about our coffee preferences. This is exactly the standard expected from an established InterContinental brand, and even with the summer crowd, the service and quality were uncompromised.
Finally, a special shout-out to our thoughtful butler, Emily. From the moment we checked in, she was incredibly attentive. On our last day, we had an early morning departure for a yacht in the central lake area. Without hesitation, Emily helped us arrange a late check-out, even during the busy summer season.
To be honest, when I heard that the InterContinental was being rebranded, I had some reservations, worrying about a potential drop in service. However, after staying here, I can confidently say that this is by far the best hotel in China, in terms of both quality and service, that we've stayed at with our child during the summer season. Both its hard and soft assets are top-notch, and its service easily rivals that of established luxury hotel brands. I rarely choose to stay at the same hotel twice in the same location, but InterContinental Danyang has made me eagerly anticipate my next visit.

KKanfengjingdelurenThis hotel is great for a vacation, though the air in the rooms isn't the best, possibly due to its age and location in the mountains. (It smells a bit musty.) However, the oxygen content is high, making for a very comfortable sleep.
A leisurely stroll around the lake is also very pleasant.
The lake-view seating at breakfast is absolutely fantastic, and enjoying breakfast while watching the sunrise is a truly unique experience. The downside is that breakfast itself is a bit underwhelming; the semi-buffet set menu feels a bit haphazard. The crayfish noodles with thirteen-spice seasoning didn't hit the mark, and the portion of noodles was too large. I'd suggest offering a smaller portion option.
The chef for dinner was excellent! The oil and salt levels were perfectly controlled, and the flavors were spot-on. The braised shrimp, stir-fried eel with scallion oil, and stir-fried loofah were all incredibly authentic.
My only slight regret is that the hotel's own landscaping and small environment aren't as good as they could be (due to design and planning).

Ccongcong0613Environment: The environment is really superb. I booked a water villa, and the hotel upgraded me to a deluxe water villa, which had a better location and was closer to the hotel lobby. The balcony in the room overlooked the lake, and you could feed fish and ducklings from the balcony railing. There were so many koi in the hotel, some even bigger than the ducks, which was really fun.
Service: Every staff member I encountered was super nice. When my child mentioned that the snacks delivered to the room were delicious, they specially sent two extra portions that afternoon. When I checked out, they even prepared some for me to take away, which was incredibly touching! Thumbs up, thumbs up!
Food: The breakfast area isn't big, but it's delicious! There's a wide variety of bread, and both Chinese and Western breakfast options are very rich. Even if you go to eat after 9 am, there's no long queue; it's quiet with fewer people. We had dinner at the Baiyun Restaurant, which was also very good, costing a little over 200 yuan per person, which was quite reasonable.
Facilities: The hotel is indeed not new anymore, as it has been open for a long time, but it's very well maintained. And this Chinese style just looks ancient and elegant, which I personally really like.
Rowboat: Three of us took the hotel's rowboat. It was 400 yuan for an hour to charter the boat, which is indeed a bit more expensive than outside, but the advantage is no queues, no exposure to the sun, and there wasn't a second boat on the outer lake waterway, so we had a private secret retreat all to ourselves – so comfortable!

From pre-arrival communication and meeting us at the scenic area ferry terminal, to planning our itinerary and arranging dining and boat tours during our stay, she was incredibly thorough and thoughtful throughout. She proactively anticipated our needs, even thoughtfully providing mosquito repellent. Her demeanor was warm and professional, and her service was attentive yet unobtrusive, making us feel truly welcomed in this water town. The hotel's architecture uniquely reflects silk culture, and the breakfast was delicious. Coupled with our butler's high-quality service, our trip was incredibly comfortable. We'll definitely choose Silk Hotel again on our next visit.

HHongsechenhuiI took my family on a holiday trip to Hangzhou, Shaoxing, and Wuzhen. We visited Shaoxing first, then Hangzhou, and finally Wuzhen. Honestly, booking Jin Tang Inn for this leg of the journey was the most successful decision.
I especially want to give a big shout-out and thank Jiajia from Jin Tang Inn! 🌹
She handled everything from check-in, luggage, and shuttle service to and from the parking lot. Perhaps this is the standard service in Wuzhen, and as she herself said, it's 'what she should do.' But her eyes, expression, and demeanor exuded genuine kindness and sincerity. When we left, it was raining, and I was genuinely worried she'd get drenched on her way back, but thankfully, the weather cleared up. 🌹🌹❤️
I walked around Wuzhen several times in the morning, and in comparison, Jin Tang Inn's cleanliness, service, and facilities were all excellent. The breakfast was another highlight.
If I ever have international guests visiting Wuzhen in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to arrange their stay here.

GGuest UserOur stay at naked House Valley was so fantastic that we didn't hesitate to extend our trip in Moganshan by another day, choosing naked House Castle, which is part of the same group. We stayed in a 'little rammed earth round house' at naked House Valley. The entire hotel is nestled in a valley with stunning scenery, and the different restaurants offer excellent experiences, with both the Chinese and Western restaurants serving high-quality food. Before leaving Moganshan, we even made sure to experience naked House Valley's 'naked House Taste' again.

The butler service is meticulous, with thoughtful arrangements before and after check-in, and they are always available when needed. They are very attentive, warm, and friendly. We were traveling with our child, and the butler got along wonderfully with our baby, so I highly recommend it for families. The service is efficient and problems during our stay were promptly resolved. They also offer wellness programs and activities like sound healing, spa treatments, and afternoon tea. We arrived at Xianhua Sandalwood International Hotel and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The staff greeted us warmly and provided all the necessary information about our stay. However, the English was limited, but at least it was smooth and no hassles.
**Room Comfort:**
Our room was spacious and well-appointed. We appreciated the comfortable king sized bed, view, huge bathtub, cleanliness, and spaciousness. However, as a coffee lover, there was only one serving of coffee, so when we woke up the next morning I was quite upset that only myself was able to enjoy an early morning coffee. Nevertheless, it was perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing.
**Facilities:**
The hotel offered various facilities that enhanced our stay. We particularly enjoyed facilities like a fitness center, indoor pool, hot springs, table tennis and the pool table. The breakfast buffet was delightful, offering a mix of local and international cuisine.
**Service:**
The staff was exceptional. They were always available and eager to assist with any requests. Their friendly approach made our stay even more pleasant. The front desk manager Kang was super friendly and arranged for the coffee bar to open earlier the day we checked out.

While our overall experience was positive, there were a couple of areas for improvement. We traveled with our 7 month old daughter and the noise and maintenance were quite unpleasant. However, these didn’t detract significantly from our enjoyment.

This international hotel is just a few minutes' drive from the city, offering a serene escape with a beautiful exterior. Guests are welcomed by a picturesque fish pond, vibrant gardens, playful rabbits, and a designated play area for kids, making it an ideal family-friendly destination.

GGuest UserThe hotel itself is a historic building, meticulously maintained, and perfectly aligned with the Wuzhen culture. It's a joy to explore, and while I couldn't post photos with people in them, it's truly beautiful! The staff were confident and natural in their descriptions when asked questions.
The hotel's restaurant is excellent, with delicious food. The included breakfast is portioned per person, but very generous, saving you the hassle of choosing.
I have three minor suggestions, which can be disregarded if not appropriate: 1. The shower pressure in my room was a bit low. 2. Given the hotel's excellent location, a 2 PM checkout would be perfect. I imagine many guests coming for a night tour of Wuzhen wouldn't check in so early. 3. The queue for the sculling boat was incredibly long (during a non-weekend in summer). Although it was included in the hotel package, I ended up skipping it. I would have preferred to tour the hotel's grand mansion instead. If the hotel could arrange someone to lead a guided tour and explain its history, I can't imagine how much more valuable that would be.
