"The room was very clean. Before coming, I was worried about a strange smell from the carpet, especially since it's an old hotel. But when I arrived, the carpet was clean and had no odor. Sita at the front desk even gave us a free breakfast upgrade, which we hadn't booked originally. A big shout-out to her, everyone should look for Sita! The breakfast was indeed rich and varied, and my child loved it. We chose this hotel to visit the Yiwu International Trade City. It's just across the street from District 1 East Extension, within walking distance. Turn right out of the hotel's main entrance (Xinguanghui West Gate), enter through Gate 12 of District 1 East Extension, and take the elevator on your right straight to the fourth floor. It's full of trendy small commodities, absolutely bustling with people. We spent an entire afternoon just exploring the fourth floor and were so tired we had to go back to the hotel to rest. The hotel's location is extremely convenient. However, there's no doorman at the hotel lobby entrance; you just walk in by yourself after getting out of the car."

"Wucheng Four Seasons Yijing Hotel (Yongsheng Shopping Plaza Branch) 9.1 The hotel package price was very affordable, so I saw a lot of senior tour groups. It's located near a residential area, and attractions like Guzicheng require a drive. There are many restaurants nearby. Pets stay free. However, Yongsheng Shopping Plaza is still about a 30-minute walk away. Location: Generally, it's near a residential area and a bit far from attractions (-0.7). Navigation was clear, and there's a convenient parking lot within the hotel grounds. Hygiene: The bedding was clean, and the floors were tidy. They also offer to clean the room after you've woken up, which is quite thoughtful. Service: The hotel front desk staff were very diligent. During check-in, they followed a standardized script and sent a detailed page of information via WeChat, including breakfast and Wi-Fi details. Their response time during my stay was also very fast. It would be even better if they could check reservation notes during check-in to provide the appropriate room type. However, the most annoying part of the service was receiving daily WeChat messages pressuring guests for 5-star reviews (-0.5). Facilities: They have smart home features and well-equipped energy-saving devices, as well as accessible facilities. However, the smart toilet only had an automatic flush function (-0.2). The entire reception process was calm, thoughtful, and incredibly detail-oriented, allowing us to shed our travel fatigue as soon as we arrived. This Zhoushan vacation was significantly enhanced by the attentive service from the front desk, making it a truly healing stay. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a getaway to Putuo."

"Let me start by explaining how to get from Anlan Xinchang to the popular Xiayanbei village (something rarely mentioned online!!!) ⬇️⬇️ You call the local businesses and tell them you're coming for a meal. The owner will pick you up and then drive you back to the hotel after your meal. (Personal experience: This usually works for restaurants, but not for coffee shops.) Now, let me share my personal experience of a three-day, two-night stay. First, the pros ✅👍 1. The hotel's location is truly superb: nestled by mountains and water, each room is a standalone villa. 2. The hotel's 'Dengyun Ladder' (Cloud-Ascending Ladder) is a major highlight. Taking it to the clifftop for afternoon tea is truly a delightful experience. The combination of the ladder and clifftop afternoon tea offers a unique experience and is very photogenic. 3. The cleaning staff (aunties) are very diligent. They keep the rooms spotlessly clean even without specific instructions. 4. The cocktails at the pool bar are delicious. Enjoying a drink 🍹 with the blue sky, white clouds, green mountains, and the pool is truly blissful. Now, let's talk about areas for improvement ⬇️❌ I'm only mentioning these because I don't want such a well-located hotel with great views to go to waste. I hope the details can be improved! This would provide a better experience for future guests, rather than just good photo opportunities. 1. The staff answering the phone and the front desk staff processing check-in were impatient 👉🏻 During my two-night stay, I proactively called to ask if there were any room upgrade benefits. The staff member on the phone was impatient (they had a condescending attitude, as if they were a knowledgeable expert explaining things to a naive person). 2. Many staff members didn't have the patience to listen to guests. Questions were interrupted before they were finished, and the answers weren't even what the guest asked. This was very off-putting. 3. The shuttle service is really infrequent!! Every time I called for a shuttle, I had to wait for about 10 minutes. The response time is too slow!! The staff explained: ”The hotel is too big...” Coincidentally, I stayed at 4 resort hotels this holiday, 3 of which had shuttle services, and they were all very large, but Anlan had the slowest response time. 4. The staff are not enthusiastic. Many don't proactively greet guests... The shuttle drivers' tone of voice was less polite than the guests'... I think this is an issue with the hotel management ❌ For example, with the shuttle service, operating outdoors in the summer heat means their workload is severely increased due to understaffing. It's so hot, it's genuinely hard for them to maintain a good attitude and temper. 5. Communication with the front desk was difficult and unprofessional... I told the front desk I wanted a shuttle to take us around to see the hotel's scenery (not during peak hours). However, when the shuttle driver arrived, he said he knew nothing about it... My friend couldn't find her hair tie and just wanted to ask the front desk for one (a cleaning lady had come to tidy up during that time). The front desk asked the cleaning lady to take the trash to the room, and the lady looked so pathetic, almost having to dig through the trash to prove it... We just wanted a hair tie, and the person in the middle of the communication was truly speechless, making the cleaning lady look pitiful. 6. The hotel breakfast variety is not extensive, and the taste is very ordinary. 7. The placement of trash cans in the room is unreasonable: in such a large room, there's only one trash can in the bathroom and one at the sink. There should be another trash can for general waste in the room (although we called the front desk and asked for one). 8. The hotel's pool setup is also unreasonable. In the hot summer, the outdoor pool has no shade, making it easy to get sunburnt when playing in the water. Coincidentally, two days before staying here, I stayed at another resort hotel. Their clifftop infinity pool had a tree planted without compromising the aesthetic, so even when playing in the afternoon, there was some shade! This way, the pool wouldn't just be a decoration in mid-summer, but genuinely usable! 9. The tissues were not new and unopened; they were only delivered after I called... 💰 Price: 4000 for 2 nights on a weekday during summer vacation. This was already a super discounted price after a group purchase. For a hotel that normally costs at least 2500 per night, the details really need to be improved. Don't disappoint future guests."

Strolling through it felt like being in a secluded paradise. Though only three days, Anlan Hotel Ninghai provided us with complete relaxation and joy. It's more than just a hotel; it's a place where one can slow down, find peace, and reconnect with their true self. We look forward to our next visit."

"Located by the Oujiang River, near the Jiangxinyu Island ferry terminal. From the moment I stepped out of the car, a delightful aroma filled the air. The lobby offered floral tea, and there was a bellhop to assist with luggage. The river view room overlooked the Oujiang River. The room size was just right, the soft drinks in the fridge were complimentary, and the bathroom amenities were neatly arranged with soft lighting. There were plenty of charging outlets. The room provided bathrobes, an iron, comfortable slippers, and quality toiletries. There's a window in the room for ventilation. Breakfast offered a rich variety, blending Chinese and Western options with local specialties like glutinous rice, pork offal noodles, fish balls, lard cakes, and lamp-shaped cakes. The coffee even came with a to-go cup, which was a thoughtful touch. The staff were warm and responsive."

The breakfast was incredibly delicious, featuring Wenzhou specialties like 'pig offal noodles' (zhu zang fen), glutinous rice, fried rice, and rice noodles, as well as small seafood like pomfret and squid. Everything tasted great; the chef must be quite skilled. Among the many five-star hotels I've stayed in, this breakfast ranks in the upper-middle tier. 3. They offered complimentary desserts in the evening, which were also very tasty. Similar to point 2, the chef here must be very talented. 4. It's very close to the South Station, about a 10-minute drive. It's not very close to the city center, but precisely because of that, the price is a significant advantage. Similar five-star hotels in the city center are generally older and slightly more expensive. Trust me, the price difference is more than enough to cover taxi fares, and it's not far to popular attractions like Wuma Street and Jiangxin Island by taxi. Plus, the experience of a new hotel versus an old one is completely different. 5. Hotel staff always helped open car doors when we were getting in and out of taxis, making us feel right at home. They were always smiling. 6. The hygiene and environment were both excellent. In short, if you're planning a trip to Wenzhou, you can confidently book this hotel. I honestly spent ages comparing hotels before booking this one, and I genuinely recommend it!!!"
