Located right in the heart of Wuzhou near the river. This hotel was quite large with a beautiful and elegant lobby. The room was equally spacious and comfortable. Everything in the bathroom worked well and the bed was quite comfortable as well. Overall an excellent value for a hotel to use as a base for exploring Wuzhou!

Previously, this was the Baise Hotel. The hotel was very grand, with a beautiful courtyard. The rooms were also quite large, but the quality of the decor looked a bit rough. The air conditioner in the room wasn't working, and the room temperature was 29°C. I had to call the front desk to send someone to fix it. I hope the hotel can regularly inspect the room facilities to prevent such problems from happening in the first place!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Our stay at LS Hotel in Yangshuo was truly unforgettable. The hotel is located in the mountains, and the surroundings look like something from a fairy tale — misty hills, fresh air, and a peaceful atmosphere that helps you completely relax. The room was luxurious and very well designed. We especially loved the large bathtub, the rotating bed, and the panoramic view from the window. Everything was clean, modern, and comfortable, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The food was delicious, and we were pleasantly surprised by the small gifts and the complimentary photo session, which was a wonderful bonus and a great memory from this trip. This is the best place we have ever stayed with my husband. We sincerely thank the LS Hotel team for their hospitality and outstanding service. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and would love to come back again. special thanks to the photographer and manager (ICEY, Vivi, Caicai) ❤️❤️❤️

The hotel's location is truly unique. It faces Guilin Lake directly and Rong Lake on one side. You can walk along the lake to reach the Sun and Moon Pagodas (about 1+ km away). Right around the corner is the Rong Lake Branch of the Provincial Library, and nearby is Bai Chongxi's Mansion (which was closed when I visited). Though the room was small, it was exquisite, clean, and tidy, with very modern amenities. It even had a Nespresso capsule coffee machine, a filtered direct-drinking water dispenser, a garment steamer, a sterilizer for water cups, a bedside wireless charging pad, and an electric heated towel rack in the bathroom! There's also a laundry room on every floor! The rooftop pool is very photogenic, and although the observation deck was under maintenance, I bet swimsuit photos there would be amazing in the summer! The front desk area offers a coffee machine, a self-serve beverage cabinet (with mineral water, soy milk available from 6:30 AM, and other branded drinks), as well as fruit and small daily necessities! The kids' play area next to the elevator also looked like a lot of fun! The travel photoshoot included with the hotel package was fantastic too. The free-to-use Chuanshan Park had beautiful scenery, and we climbed Mingyue Peak with our child to get a panoramic view of the city! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and polite! The only drawback was the unimpressive window view! However, overall, it definitely exceeded my expectations.

No complaints whatsoever, apart from the hot weather. The location is fantastic, and the environment is stunning – it truly felt like a scene out of the 'Wizard of Oz'. Jintan Beach is right downstairs, perfect for taking the kids to catch small crabs and collect seashells. However, compared to Yintan Beach, the water quality here is slightly inferior. On the bright side, Jintan offers better value for money, and most importantly, the sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking. The swimming pool downstairs is also excellent – clean and well-maintained. Dining options nearby are plentiful, and if you don't feel like going out, you can easily order food delivery to your room.

The Marriott hotel is super conveniently located right above a large shopping mall that has everything you need. It's also very easy to get to museums, Chaoyang Square, the train station, and the high-speed rail station via Metro Line 1. The hotel itself seems to have been recently renovated; it feels very new.

Families, this hotel is absolutely incredible! Traveling alone for New Year's, I've stayed at three five-star hotels these past few days, and this one is the last – and the most stunning. I booked the top-floor suite, and it's simply gorgeous. I got to experience the joy of a super-spacious apartment… I honestly didn't expect such high standards; it even inspired some of my personal ambitions. The space is so big I could jump rope in the living room~ (and I actually did!) The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a direct view of the golden sunrise on the mountains, which is a wonderful visual feast. Further in, there's a huge TV area, and the bed is incredibly comfortable – you could just lie there and zone out forever. Most of the room's facilities are electrically controlled. The bathtub is quite comfortable and has a very sophisticated design. The shower and toilet are separate, and the bathroom has an enormous sink and mirror. The entire room's design feels very grand, with a great sense of space, simple yet full of thoughtful details, and a high-end color palette. The moment you step out, you're met with an unbeatable mountain view; the vista is incredibly expansive, and the air is so refreshing… (compared to the city's air pollution, someone with allergies like me can instantly feel the huge difference)! Breakfast was also delicious. All in all, it's a highly recommended hotel ❤️

The Shangri-La was hands down the most unforgettable hotel of our New Year's trip to Guangxi in 2026. Neither the Hyatt in Liuzhou nor the Wyndham in Fangchenggang came close – the Shangri-La was ten times better! From the magnificent lobby and the elegant, tasteful public areas, to the breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views from the 68-meter-high sky lobby, and the meticulous room service – every staff member was warm, friendly, and efficient. Staying at the hotel itself felt like a vacation; there was no need to visit other attractions. It was an experience of art and culture. I highly recommend booking a package that includes afternoon tea. The themed afternoon tea setup was incredibly impressive, making us want to linger forever, as if we had stepped into a fairy tale. The breakfast was equally outstanding. The variety and exquisite quality of the Shangri-La's dining can't be matched by other hotels. I was particularly impressed by the local Guangxi lemon duck and the grilled pork (Mei Rou). The duck was served warm, and the moment it was opened, all the delicious oil flowed out. I couldn't stop at just two or three pieces each time! I even wanted to ask the hotel what brand they use so I could buy some to take home. The hotel offers direct access to MixC Mall, which had lively New Year's Eve festivities. It's also just a 10-minute drive to Qingxiu Mountain Scenic Area, and there are several small parks directly opposite. If you take your time, you could easily stay for many days. Both the children and our elderly family members couldn't stop raving about it. We didn't want to leave at all! We'll definitely choose Shangri-La whenever we travel next. A big thank you to the entire service team for their thoughtful service! Jessica was particularly warm, kind, and friendly, and Alice, Betsy, Ally, and Jenna were also excellent!

If you are concerned about the security of your belongings, think carefully before staying at this hotel. I want to state first that the receptionists and front desk staff are excellent and professional. Unfortunately, there is a serious issue with room security and unauthorized entry. I am a returning guest. First stay: 10–14 December, Room 3031 Second stay: 22–24 December, Room 3003 During my first stay, I informed the cleaning supervisor that I did not want housekeeping until 14 December. When my room ran out of bottled water, I spoke to a cleaning staff member who said she would place the water in my room later after I went out. During our conversation, my room door accidentally shut, and she used a master key card to open it. Looking back, she could have simply handed the water to me as her cart was in the hallway. On 12 or 13 December, the same cleaning staff mentioned that they “cannot earn if they do not clean my room.” Feeling pressured, I agreed to allow floor cleaning only. I stood outside the room while two cleaners mopped the toilet, changed towels, and vacuumed the carpet. On 14 December early checkout, I reached for a pair of black slack pants that had been hanging in the closet since 10 December but it was not there. At that time, I assumed the pants may have been accidentally packed into the two bags for the hotel’s luggage storage. I then traveled to other parts of China with light luggage and did no shopping. I returned to the hotel on the night of 22 December and collected my stored bags. The black slack pants were not in them. During second stay at the hotel I did no shopping. After 24th Dec flying home, I discovered something even more alarming. A bundle of newly purchased jeans for my sister and mother during my first stay—packed together in a plastic bag—was missing. At the airport on 24th Dec, my bags were shrink-wrapped and sealed, and is no wander the total weight was at least 1.3 kg lighter than expected. This suggests that someone entered my room when the room was vacant and removed items from my packed luggage. Hotel staff would have known my checkout date, and I had not opened my bags after packing. This experience has caused me great distress. While the front desk service is commendable, the lack of room security and the disappearance of personal belongings is unacceptable. I will not be returning, and I strongly urge management to investigate this matter seriously.

My recent experiences at other hotels made me particularly hesitant when choosing a hotel in Guilin this time. Even with thousands of positive reviews, I couldn't help but feel skeptical. I finally decided to check it out in person. Before checking in, I made what I would have previously considered an unnecessary request: ”May I see the room first?” The front desk staff responded without hesitation: ”Of course, you can.” When viewing the room, the staff knocked three times on the door of a room he clearly knew was empty, saying ”housekeeping service” each time. After opening the door, he knocked once more before formally entering. At that moment, I felt reassured. It turns out that a standardized knock and a simple announcement can rebuild shattered trust. This isn't just service; it's the hotel's fundamental respect for people. This feeling of being respected permeated my entire stay. The monk fruit tea personally served by the front desk, the handwritten card next to the welcome fruit, and the Angelica tea before bed all felt warm and thoughtful. Even the housekeeping auntie who brought buckwheat pillows in the evening was all smiles. Here, you don't feel like a hotel guest; you feel more like you've arrived at the home of a cherished friend. Besides the warm and attentive front desk staff, what impressed me most was the F&B supervisor. When I ordered my second coffee, an Americano, she gently confirmed: ”You had a sugar-free latte earlier, didn't you?” I was surprised that she remembered my preference after serving so many guests. When my Guilin rice noodles were ready, she specifically came over to tell me, ”Please come over to add your condiments.” Upon check-out, she even proactively asked, ”Did you sleep well last night? Is there anything you needed in the room?” Accustomed to the rigid departmental divisions of large hotels, this cross-departmental, meticulous care was truly unexpected. I noticed during breakfast that all the servers wore transparent masks. This ensured hygiene without hindering their friendly smiles and clear voices. All the subsequent observations, whether it was the consistently neat bottled water in the elevator or the carefully arranged green mangoes on the breakfast buffet, made me feel that the operation went far beyond merely replenishing food and drinks. It was an attitude of consistently upholding their own standards. Admittedly, considering the prices in Guilin during the off-season, this small hotel with Li River views is not inexpensive, and its facilities are comparable to many standardized chain hotels. However, when respect for people, meticulous attention to detail, and adherence to standards are presented so genuinely, what it offers is an experience that far exceeds its hardware specifications.

GGuest UserThe hotel advertises as having an all-year-round open pool and it's not true. During our stay at the end of April with maximum temperatures above 30°C there was no pool to cool off, and the staff told us it was because it was still too early in the year. This was very disappointing as having a pool was the main reason for our choice of hotel, so I'd say this hotel didn't meet our expectations and they should state this clearly on Trip to avoid future confusion of guests. Other things to improve are the storage space in the rooms (there's barely any room to place suitcases etc) and the soundproofing (we were woken up several days by loud guests at 7am or earlier). On the positive side, the beds were comfortable (average hardness of mattress for westerners standards) and the shower was the best we've had in our whole trip through China: very modern, with good water pressure and no fluctuating temperature. The room thermostat worked really well and the hotel has some nice amenities for guests to use such as tea, massage chairs (a bit worn out but still working) and a vintage game console. The staff helped us with luggage, gave us information and even a small present at the end of our stay, which was a nice touch. The location of the hotel is in a quieter part of town, ideal for sleeping but still close enough to streets with lots of restaurants, cafes etc (try Heytea in west street if you can!). Overall it's been good value for money, although the hotel could do some clean up/refurbishment work and the pool availability should be advertised accurately.

XXiyouThis trip was a mix of business and leisure, traveling with a foreign client and their family. It was my first time visiting beautiful Guilin, and the hotel's name itself is so poetic, evoking 'poetry and faraway places,' with a subtle French ambiance. The staff were polite and enthusiastic; Xiao Bai at the front desk was particularly gentle and charming. Coming back from the scenic area at night, a bowl of coconut milk and Lipu taro was wonderfully warm and fragrant. My foreign client and their family also really loved the hotel's style and service.

2205331****Nestled by the Yulong River, the hotel offers easy access to everything. The environment is beautiful and serene, with a light luxury and stylish design. Facilities are comprehensive, including a swimming pool, gym, sunbathing area, and even a kids' play area. Our room boasted 270-degree views of the nearby river and distant mountains, and we could see parts of the sunrise and sunset (though we missed the full spectacle due to the weather this time). The cleanliness was impeccable, and the smart 'Xiaodu' assistant controlled everything. The bedding and bed were incredibly comfortable. My suggestions would be: for families, adult bathing is a bit inconvenient as there's no curtain for privacy. Also, a small stool near the shoe-changing area would be helpful for sitting down. The butler service was very attentive and prompt, and the hotel also offers electric scooter rentals 🛵. The kids didn't want to leave! Overall, we were extremely satisfied!

11500517****The service from the Loyalty Department goes beyond being just 'thoughtful'; it feels more like the meticulous care of an old friend. Three days before my arrival, my dedicated client manager called to confirm my itinerary needs and informed me that a quiet, high-floor suite had already been reserved based on my past preferences. Upon arrival, the room was perfectly arranged to my liking: the curtains were half-open to let in natural light, and what touched me most was that she had pre-arranged a late checkout for me. The Loyalty Department has proven over time that true loyalty service isn't about points redemption, but about making each guest feel like a unique and cherished member of this family. Thank you for making every trip a comfortable experience for me.

__M1399517****Guilin truly lives up to its reputation as a tourist city; the service here is incredibly warm and thoughtful. Someone met us right at the hotel entrance, and upon entering, we were offered special local Luo Han Guo tea. They even escorted us to our room! When we checked out, we received a complimentary osmanthus hand cream as a souvenir. The hotel also thoughtfully sent a detailed travel guide to my phone, making us feel completely at home. There are plenty of great restaurants right outside the hotel, offering delicious local specialties and, of course, Guilin rice noodles. Elephant Trunk Hill and Sun and Moon Pagodas are just a few minutes' walk away. Plus, there's an airport shuttle bus stop right by the hotel entrance when you leave. I highly recommend this hotel, it's absolutely fantastic! Travelers with kids get an extra bonus: the 9th floor not only offers a rich breakfast but also has a children's play area. This is hands down the most heartwarming hotel I've ever stayed at!

YYuanxiA healing escape amidst Guilin's picturesque landscapes – this B&B is worth revisiting countless times! Our two-night stay in Guilin was absolutely amazing; choosing the right accommodation truly doubled our travel happiness. The common areas are meticulously clean and elegantly arranged, with a beautiful array of plants and greenery. Whether you're sipping tea by the window in your room or gazing at the mountains and rivers from the terrace, you'll feel a long-lost sense of relaxation. Even more delightful was the incredibly thoughtful service! From the moment we booked, we received detailed guidance. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us warmly, and the check-in process was efficient and thorough. Their service was unobtrusive yet responsive to every need, providing a comforting warmth even when far from home. Two nights felt too short. If you're coming to Guilin and want to immerse yourself in both its natural beauty and local charm, this B&B is definitely the top choice. I've already recommended it to friends planning trips to Guilin and will certainly stay here again next time! The sound healing was also a big thumbs up! 👍

GGuest UserShangrila Guilin is situated a little further from the hustle and bustle of the city. However, it is super convenient to travel via Didi to anywhere you wish to go to. The room is a little dated but extremely spacious for the Terrace Mountain view room. Housekeeping deserves special mention as the housekeeper insisted on giving me a disinfected teaspoon and not one from her cart. The staff here are very service oriented, especially Alex Long (Concierge) and Jamie Chen (Li Cafe). There is also a mini zoo to amuse the young ones in the sprawling compound. I find breakfast at the Li Cafe to be vegetarian friendly.. The hotel would also cater vegetarian dishes as a special request for room service but only during limited hours. In fact, I had most of my meals here. Would definitely recommend Shang for a calm and tranquil stay during the winter season!
