Service: Due to our reasons, the reservation was wrong, and the front desk helped us change the room. Thank you very much to the front desk lady! Later, my glasses fell off while eating breakfast, and the front desk also helped us put them away. Thank you. Room: The room was clean and tidy without any odor. There was a Gree air purifier and two snacks were given. Hot spring: It was too hot during the day, so we swam and played for a while before taking a hot spring bath. It was very comfortable. Breakfast: As shown in the picture, there are many varieties of breakfast and it is delicious.

This was my first visit to Country Garden Xianning, and I truly felt it's the best hotel in the area. Yet, the official photos make it look quite old and dated, which always led us to travel further to Chibi for hot springs. In actuality, both the hotel's ambiance and the room conditions far exceeded our expectations. The restaurant environment was lovely, and the breakfast was hearty. They really should consider updating their promotional images! We were upgraded to a room with a spacious bay window. We asked a staff member for an extra duvet, and the kids absolutely loved playing on it! The Water World is located just across the road from the hotel, with a convenient shuttle service. While the hot springs remain the main draw, they've also added a wave pool and a bubble pool. The large slide is unfortunately out of commission, but for those not keen on thrilling rides, there's still plenty to enjoy. The wave pool's waves were genuinely some of the largest I've encountered in any hotel-affiliated water park – far surpassing those at a certain family hotel newly opened in Wuhan, which charges double the price! The complimentary use of single and double swim rings is also a thoughtful touch. Finally, I must voice my disappointment regarding the kids' activities. The male staff member in charge showed extremely poor crowd control, leading to an utterly chaotic setup. They seriously need to learn from more competent peers in the industry. For starters, the activity content itself was poorly chosen. Knowing it was a weekend and would be busy, they should have anticipated the crowd and opted for simpler, quicker, and easier-to-manage crafts – something like making a lacquer fan or a TCM sachet, which a group could finish in 5-10 minutes. Instead, they went with the most complicated activity, causing everyone to pile into the room and complain. To top it off, the early start was only announced at the last minute. To make matters worse, they completely disregarded their own rules. Many guests complained that reservations were not honored, and people without reservations were also allowed to join. Even if we overlook the multiple booking groups, the main issue was that anyone who simply ignored the rules could just grab materials and start participating immediately. So, for an activity clearly intended for children, you'd see a family of three: the little boy making two items, his mom making one, and his dad occupying a seat as well. I've been to numerous family hotels where, during off-peak dining hours, they utilize banquet halls for activities, ensuring ample seating for parents to accompany their children at the same table. In situations with limited seating, children typically sit at the activity table while parents use small stools beside them. The priority is always to allow as many children as possible to participate simultaneously, and materials are only distributed to seated kids. I've genuinely never witnessed such disorganization where materials are handed out first, leading to a scramble for seats. What I found most incomprehensible was this: since many parents were waiting, they had their children playing in an adjacent area. One parent controversially took all the toys, preventing other kids from playing, which naturally sparked a heated argument with other parents. The dispute lasted quite a while and escalated. I even had to interject, 'It's getting pretty intense; aren't you going to send someone to de-escalate?' The male staff member simply replied that he was too swamped with people today and wasn't going to get involved. I countered, 'By the time you're free, they might actually be physically fighting!' After a moment's thought, he made a call and summoned another staff member, but offered no guidance or handover. Consequently, the female staff member, completely unaware of the situation, ended up trying to placate a different guest who was complaining about the activity schedule. Meanwhile, the original two parents continued their shouting match for a while longer. 😂 Frankly, if they can't even monitor or control the situation, they are entirely unfit to manage kids' activities. These activities really turned into a major negative point.

This is my second visit to Wuhan, and I decided to try a different five-star hotel. This time, I chose the established Shangri-La. My overall impression is that the high price comes with being a five-star hotel, but the five-star experience is solely reflected in the service. Firstly, I'm not really looking for super new or luxurious facilities; otherwise, reading all those reviews about outdated facilities and furniture would have been enough to 'veto' it. However, there are indeed many areas that could be improved. For example, there are no power outlets on either side of the bed. While the TV not supporting screen mirroring and not being a smart TV is one thing, it's also incredibly unclear with very few channels. These are all manageable, but the most serious issue is the extremely poor soundproofing! In the room, I could clearly hear conversations from the hallway, upstairs, and next door, as well as children running and playing. This level of soundproofing would be disastrous during peak travel seasons like holidays. As I mentioned earlier, the hotel's biggest highlight is probably its service. There's a staff member in front of the elevators on the ground floor who greets passing guests. When going for breakfast, as soon as you enter, a female staff member asks what you'd like to drink, then prepares it and brings it to your table. On a side note: the breakfast is quite good. And having stayed at many five-star hotels in China, perhaps apart from Shanghai, this is one of the rare ones that offers plain white rice for breakfast. It's very suitable for those who are accustomed to eating rice (and natto) for breakfast. In conclusion: if you're looking for quality rest during peak travel seasons and major holidays, this might not be the place for you. However, during the off-season, if you want to experience five-star service, you could consider it. It makes me truly appreciate the common saying online: 'Wuhan – a desert of luxury hotels.'

Our family traveled and stayed at R&F Wanda Realm Hotel in Jingzhou. The hotel is not far from the ancient city and is convenient for sightseeing. Miss Zhao, who received us at the front desk, was very enthusiastic. Seeing that we had a lot of luggage (there was also a wheelchair, and my 90-year-old mother was accompanying us), she asked the concierge to help deliver the luggage to the room. Thank you! The double room we booked only had 2 breakfasts, so we asked Miss Zhao to help give one to the elderly. Miss Zhao helped apply for it quickly. Thank you Miss Zhao! The hotel room was clean and hygienic, with complete facilities and good service. Great! Recommend this hotel!

The hotel is in a great location, right next to the ancient city. I chatted with the Didi driver and learned that it was used as a state guesthouse in advance. In addition, it only opened last year, so the hardware and location are first-class. In terms of service, the staff are very good-looking, all handsome men and beautiful women. Before check-in, the housekeeper will add WeChat. I would like to praise Miss Rosy. She replies to messages quickly and can help solve any problems and needs. The hotel concierge, front desk and catering staff are all very enthusiastic. Overall, the experience is very good, worthy of being the ceiling of Hubei hotels, and worth checking in

Entered the hotel to an absolutely wonderful lobby. To the right was a terrific bar that also serves cake and hot beverages. Our room was on the top floor - the executive floor. This gave us access to their lounge which was a great addition. It gave us a place to relax when inside the hotel with some snacks and beverages. I also very much enjoyed the massage chair in my room!  Finally, well stocked buffet for breakfast. Options are limited for “western “ foods but plenty of other options. Great stay!!

Quite a pleasant stay in this hotel. Smooth and quick check-in and out. Easy access to this hotel by MTR Line 4 from Wuhan Railway Station. You can reach the hotel directly by Exit J via B2 carpark. But be noted that it is available only on weekdays from 10:00 to 20:00. The hotel also offers signature Wuhan delicacies for breakfast. Thanks to Housekeeping team on 50th floor. They took quick action and responded promptly to our request.

This time I stayed at Wentai Garden Hotel, and the experience was great! The room was warm and elegant, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and I had a good night's sleep. The hotel staff was warm and thoughtful, the check-in was quick, and they also recommended surrounding attractions. The breakfast was rich and varied, with both Chinese and Western styles. Next time I come here, I will definitely choose this place again!

RredpandaaThis was my first time staying at the Marco Polo Hotel. The location is superb, right next to the Hankou Riverfront. We had initially booked a city view room for two nights, but the view wasn't ideal. A staff member then showed us a river view room, and we upgraded to a partial river view room, which had a fantastic view. The room was well-appointed and very quiet. The toiletries were excellent, and the first mini-bar was complimentary, offering a good selection of beverages. Upon check-out, we left our luggage with the concierge. The staff were very attentive and even gave us a small gift, which was a thoughtful touch. Thank you! Executive Lounge Experience: The service at the executive lounge was excellent, and the staff were incredibly helpful. Enjoying the river view and light show from the lounge was a wonderful experience. Both dinner and breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, the glassware designs were nice, and there was a good selection of drinks. The only issue I encountered was with the executive lounge breakfast service. Unlike other hotel executive lounges where staff proactively take orders from a menu, here I consistently had to ask for the menu myself. Furthermore, the dishes often didn't match their descriptions. For instance, the teriyaki salmon was listed with hash browns but was served without them. The waffles also had inconsistencies, sometimes missing fresh banana slices or syrup. The portion sizes were also inconsistent; one time we received four pieces, and the next time only two. I hope these aspects can be improved. Another minor inconvenience was with taxis. On several occasions, drivers stopped by the roadside and couldn't reach the hotel lobby, citing the navigation system's endpoint. Unless explicitly instructed to drive further, it was a hit-or-miss whether they would go all the way to the hotel entrance, which was quite inconvenient. Overall, the experience was quite pleasant, and I would definitely consider staying here again!

DD6694****I came here for my husband's business trip, and the environment is excellent, as is the service. Since we had a baby, the hotel called and messaged us in advance to arrange a baby crib. The room was spotlessly cleaned every day, and they provided an abundance of bottled water. The surroundings are super clean, and the breakfast is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the 'Rou Jia Mo' (Chinese meat burger), beef wide noodles, toast with honey butter, 'Re Gan Mian' (hot dry noodles), and osmanthus rice wine. The osmanthus rice wine is a dessert, and it's incredibly good. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserThe homestay I chose this time is simply a must-have. The scenery in the yard is like oil paintings, which is very beautiful. The large lawn and swimming pool sand pool in the yard, and outdoor movies will be played at night. The children will not go to the yard in the morning and evening. The tea in the backyard can be picked. The tea picked last night is dried in the car during the day. When I go home at night, I soak it. The thief is incense. Amway's girlfriends, I will go next time.

YYangyangI took the elderly to Yichang to take a boat trip to the Three Gorges, so I chose to stay at the Westin Hotel. Carry was very enthusiastic to help us check in. When I booked the hotel, I read the comments and said that because the hotel was newly opened, the breakfast was not very rich, so I set up no breakfast room. The hotel gave 2 people. The breakfast buffet is very grateful to Carry! The enthusiasm of each staff member of the hotel has also left a deep impression on the elderly, and I hope I can stay at the hotel again next time!    Let's talk about breakfast. Because the original breakfast floor is not ready for perfection, the breakfast meal was changed to the executive lounge on the 51st floor of the hotel. The invincible river view and rich breakfast are really a perfect mood to start the day!   The guest service manager Carry service is warm and thoughtful, the room is clean and tidy, the hotel is very close to the East Station Airport, I hope to see you next time!

DDoufutravelsMy boyfriend and I just had the most special stay here. From the moment we arrived, the wonderful team looked after us and helped with everything and anything we could want. We’d wanted to eat dinner upon arrival, and so they provided some of the nicest Chinese food I’ve had to date! My recommendation is the fried eggs and leek. We were obsessed! 🤤 The room and the amenities were really high quality, and I especially enjoyed the incredible view from our bedroom. Daily, we were given snacks and fruits. The food was so good that we ordered again on our second night. Truly, the food was 10/10!! For the room, everything was clean, modern and worked well. All the staff were excellent, too. Yang Yang was especially wonderful (picture of us together!) and made sure we had the best time. She helped with organising our trip, including travel. She is a warm, kind person who made all the difference to our trip. She also introduced us to 土豆 the cat—he was just as delightful! As a foreigner in China, sometimes it can be tricky to navigate how best to travel certain areas. This hotel and the wonderful people here made us feel at home. Thanks so much for this memorable trip, Yang Yang —and also to all the lovely people there! You MUST stay here for the best hotel outside Enshi Grand Canyon!! 💚

MM561188****This is an ideal choice for business travelers! The facilities are well-equipped and the internet is stable. You can even get a packed breakfast to go, but you need to inform the staff in advance. The soundproofing in the room is excellent, and the bedding is comfortable and doesn't feel heavy, so you wake up feeling refreshed. Louie at the front desk was very responsive and efficient in helping with printing documents and urgent laundry requests. They also offer a 24-hour free gym to help relieve the fatigue of business trips. The location is close to my work site and getting a taxi is also convenient.

NNicoleI took my children to Wuhan for summer vacation. Initially, I was worried about the old look of the hotel, which opened in 2016. But upon checking in at the InterContinental Wuhan, I realized my concerns were unnecessary. Our one-day stay was truly comfortable and relaxing. The hotel is located on the Yangtze River, and rooms with river views offer stunning views from the window, which are especially captivating at night when illuminated. The rooms are spacious and bright, featuring a blend of modern minimalist decor with Chinese elements. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and you can choose a latex pillow, ensuring a great night's sleep. The front desk was efficient, and the handsome White staff member was warm and courteous, proactively explaining the amenities. Seeing we were traveling with our 12-year-old, they offered a complimentary breakfast for one of our children. The InterContinental room was spacious, with separate wet and dry areas, and the Byredo toiletries were fragrant. The refrigerator contained four complimentary cans of drinks. Dinner was served in the hotel's Chinese restaurant, offering stunning river views. Watching the sunset was truly relaxing. Breakfast offered a variety of Chinese and Western dishes, including authentic Wuhan specialties like hot dry noodles and tofu skin. The beef noodles and pancakes are must-try! We drove here from Changsha. At night, we were within walking distance of Jiangtan Park and a 20-yuan taxi ride to Yellow Crane Tower. Other core business districts are also easily accessible. Free parking is available at the entrance, making it convenient and fast. The overall service was meticulous and attentive, with quality evident in every detail. The established five-star InterContinental Hotel will not disappoint.

__M1372017****This B&B experience was truly amazing, and I absolutely have to give it a thumbs-up! Upon arrival, I was captivated by the breathtaking scenery of the surrounding mountains and rivers. It felt like I had stumbled into a paradise. In the distance, rolling hills shrouded in mist, while below, a gurgling stream gurgled, crystal clear. The air was filled with the delicate fragrance of plants and trees, and every breath was soothing. The room at the B&B was also wonderful. It was warm and comfortable, well-equipped, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. Opening the curtains, the panoramic view of the mountains and rivers was breathtaking – a truly beautiful experience. The owner was simple, warm, and attentive, making me feel incredibly warm from check-in to check-out. We dined at the B&B for several meals, all made with fresh local ingredients, brimming with home-cooked flavors. Finally, before leaving, the owner let me use the kitchen to make a stir-fried rice dish, even paying for it. There are many fun places around. Whether it is strolling in the mountains or playing by the stream, you can completely relax your body and mind. My daughter and the boss's youngest son didn't want to leave after playing so much. In short, this B&B completely exceeded my expectations. I will definitely come again next time!

DDaJay23Overall, it was a great experience. We got 3 rooms for our family of 6 w/ 2 kids on the 20th floor. This hotel is next to the river so the view is stunning. Overlooked the great Yangtze River. Night view was mesmerizing. All the skyscrapers lit up in sync around the city along side the river. Jaw dropping. We went in mid June and the river was flooding due to heavy rain. There's a big walk way next to the river where lots of people went to hang out even when it's flooding. Real cool. There's also a famous street similar to Beijing Road in Guangzhou a few blocks down. Forgot the name. There's an upscale modern mall called MixC 15 min taxi DD. We're from California and this mall is comparable to our socal South Coast. During summer flooding season, it may be an issue traveling to the other side of the bridge, so just keep that in mind. I gave it a 4 star for cleaniness because I expected our room to be a bit better. One of the rooms we stayed had this old, a bit smoky smell. I'm assuming someone smoked in it given majority of the population in china seems to be smoking like a chimney. The Pearl gave us great modern comfort to an alienated(to us) city.
