St Regis is one of the best rated hotels and, after checking in, it isn’t hard to see why. The room was modern and very spacious. The location is right in the centre of Tianjin’s CBD, next to the Hai River, one of Tianjin’s most famous landmarks. One of the other highlights is the 24 hour butler service. The team, especially Wendy, made sure to provide personalised and bespoke service. She, and the team, was always friendly and super responsive. Oh, and the view from the room is pretty amazing too.

This was my first stay at a Banyan Tree hotel, and honestly, it was just okay. Perhaps it's because I've stayed at similarly rated hotels in other cities. Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons: **Pros:** * The hotel is centrally located, right across from the Haihe River and the Ancient Culture Street. It's also very close to the Tianjin Eye, offering beautiful night views. * My child loved the goldfish pond on the basement level. **Cons:** * The service was mediocre. We weren't provided with kids' toiletries directly; I had to call and request them. * The welcome fruit platter was very basic, and we only received it on the first day of our stay. * My king-sized room had two TVs, but one remote controlled both of them simultaneously. This was very inconvenient; you had to get very close to one TV to turn it off, otherwise, both would switch off together. * The kids' play area in the basement was too simplistic, with only a small slide. I hope these areas for improvement can be addressed in the future.

The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to get around. It's right next to the Ancient Culture Street, and close to Fifth Avenue and the Tianjin Eye. The breakfast selection is quite diverse, and they even provide separate toothbrushes, slippers, and bathrobes for children. What impressed me most was the lobby service, especially Manager Du. I had to change rooms due to an extended stay and needed to store my luggage. Manager Du was incredibly helpful, warm, detailed, and patient. Also, the complimentary evening light meal was better than I expected. It was served in the executive lounge on the 29th floor, and it wasn't too crowded during Chinese New Year. The quality and service there were both top-notch.

I recently stayed at (Tianjin Railway Station) Lia! by minyou perennial tianjin located near Tianjin South Railway Station, and it provided a very comfortable experience despite being a bit away from the city center. The hotel gave a great first impression with its clean and well-maintained appearance. The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Tianjin South Railway Station, making it easy to travel around by train or bus. Although getting to the city center takes some time, the quiet and peaceful surroundings were perfect for relaxation. The rooms were spotless and modern, offering a comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. One feature that really stood out was the hotel’s automated delivery system. Using a robot to deliver food and other items to the room was incredibly convenient, and it also added a sense of security through its contactless service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with meal deliveries or arranging taxis. They were very professional, and communication was smooth, which made the experience even better. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a variety of fresh salads, bread, and egg dishes, all served in a relaxed and welcoming dining space. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for those seeking a peaceful and quiet stay near Tianjin South Railway Station. Although it's an older five-star hotel, the service, facilities, and value for money are truly impeccable! The location is incredibly convenient; the subway is just across the street, and there's a large parking lot with charging stations. It's also close to popular attractions and the famous morning market. The hotel's service genuinely lives up to five-star standards. Our luggage was personally delivered all the way to the elevator, and everyone from the staff to the supervisors was incredibly welcoming. Room service was prompt and responsive. The room decor wasn't outdated and everything was very clean. The air conditioning was also exceptionally warm. At this price point, it's truly fantastic value! Highly recommended!

Facilities: The rooms are comfortable and spacious, with exquisite decor, and include a kitchen and laundry room, which is very convenient for families. The breakfast leans towards a Chinese style, featuring freshly pulled beef noodles, mini wontons, and traditional delicacies like Goubuli baozi and fried dough cakes. While the overall variety isn't extensive, it's all delicious and offers enough choices. Hygiene: Clean and tidy. Environment: Excellent both inside and out. Service: Good. This hotel truly lives up to its reputation as a top-tier Chinese hotel. Tianjin is also a beautiful city, and I hope to visit again in the future.

The hotel environment was fantastic, and the area around it was very lively. The front desk staff were incredibly enthusiastic and patiently helped us book crosstalk tickets and gave us directions. We're very grateful; the crosstalk show was excellent, and we laughed the whole way through. We also enjoyed a lot of delicious food, making it a very happy trip. The room was also great—clean, hygienic, and very spacious. We loved it!

A warm, classic hotel. Ms. Icy was friendly and efficient during check-in, helping me get everything sorted quickly and answering all my questions truthfully. After settling in, I discovered the mini-fridge was broken, but Ms. Gemma Guan promptly brought a replacement. The next day, I accidentally left my phone in the restaurant after breakfast. When I called, the staff member replied, ”We're waiting for you,” which felt very thoughtful. I also really appreciate that no staff member asked for a good review, but it was such a pleasant travel experience that I just have to give five stars. Thank you!

Found a great place for business trips. I'll be staying here from now on. The value for money is excellent; it's clean, tidy, and the rooms are spacious. Quiet and comfortable! It's next to Joy City, so shopping and dining are convenient. Areas for improvement: Firstly, the room was too hot. I had to turn on the AC to cool it down to a comfortable temperature; I couldn't sleep at all at first because of the heat. Secondly, the Chinese breakfast options were a bit too simple.
