This entire hotel is like a Dai palace hidden in a rainforest, with an elegant and tranquil environment, luxurious and well-thought-out facilities, and warm and attentive service. It made our stay very pleasant. The facilities boast strong Thai-Dai ethnic characteristics. The rooms are spacious, and the balconies offer stunning rainforest views. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom fixtures are high-end. The hotel grounds, gardens, swimming pool, dining, and fitness facilities are all comprehensive and complete. The staff are enthusiastic and polite, providing meticulous and thoughtful butler-style service. The check-in and check-out process is smooth, and any requests are quickly resolved.

The hotel environment is fantastic, with many hot spring pools and lots of trees, plus a variety of small animals. Our room had floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides, and we could even project movies. There's also a small private courtyard outside for a personal hot spring bath, which was amazing. The front desk staff were very attentive and detailed in their service, which was excellent. However, there was a minor flaw: there was no toilet paper holder in the restroom. The toilet paper was placed next to the sink outside the door, meaning you had to stand up to reach it, which was quite awkward.

The overall experience exceeded my expectations; everything was impeccable. The environmental hygiene was exceptionally well-maintained. The lobby was clean, bright, and odor-free, and the guest room felt fresh the moment I walked in. The floors and bathroom countertops were spotless, the bedding was soft and tidy, and there was no dust accumulation in the corners. The toiletries were neatly arranged, and after opening the window for ventilation, the air felt fresh, making my stay very comfortable and reassuring. The hotel facilities were complete and well-maintained. The air conditioning and hot water supply were stable, the internet was smooth, and the bathroom water pressure was ample. The lighting and power outlets were thoughtfully arranged, and the vanity and wardrobe offered sufficient space. The seating in the lounge area was comfortable, and all facilities were new and undamaged, providing an excellent user experience. I must particularly commend the service. The front desk staff were warm and courteous, and check-in was fast and efficient. Staff members would greet me proactively when passing by, and they responded quickly to any requests with patience and attention to detail. The directions for travel and parking were clear, and the service was attentive and thoughtful throughout. Clean, comfortable, well-equipped, and with heartwarming service, this hotel offers great value for money. I will definitely choose this place again for my next trip. Highly recommended!

Just pulled up to the hotel and — plot twist — our room wasn’t ready. Shocking, I know. They’d just survived the Water Festival the day before, so the place was probably still half-drowned and hungover. The receptionist dude was an absolute saint. His female colleague, however… let’s just say she was clearly auditioning for the role of “Cranky Receptionist from Hell.” I’m 99% sure she was on her period and the other 1% was pure personality. Thankfully they upgraded us, which was nice. I never saw the original room, so for all I know they moved us from a broom closet to a slightly larger broom closet with a view. Speaking of which — the view? Legit fire. The room itself? Clean enough. Dry sink area: spotless. Toilet: sparkling. Then came the shower — oh boy. It started off promising, like a decent enough setup… until my girlfriend jumped in. Five minutes later the hot water ghosted her mid-shampoo like a bad Tinder date. One second she’s happily singing, next second she’s screaming like she just got waterboarded by ice cubes. I’ve stayed in fancier bathrooms in Mexican motels that still had bullet holes in the walls and more reliable plumbing. Breakfast was… breakfast. The kind of “basic” that makes you nostalgic for airplane food. But hey, they gave us more bottled water than a doomsday prepper’s basement, so points for hydration. We were only there for two nights — in and out like a cheap Tinder date. Would I go back? Big fat question mark with a side of “probably not even if they paid me.” ⁉️

I really loved this hotel; it gave me a comfortable and relaxing feeling. The entrance isn't grand, but once you step inside, it's a pleasant surprise – very beautiful. You can see the snow-capped mountains directly from the lobby, though the clouds were quite thick and it was hard to see clearly during the rainy season. The standard room type was quite spacious. Even though the hotel has some age, it's been well-maintained. The breakfast was very rich, with many local specialties, and everything tasted great. Whether it was the front desk, housekeeping, or dining staff, everyone was excellent and tried their best to accommodate our requests, making our stay more comfortable. Overall, I highly recommend it and will choose to stay here again next time I visit Lijiang.

I stayed for 5 days in total, here are my thoughts: The hotel is beautiful, every corner is meticulously designed and heavily invested, exuding the aesthetics of 1956. It's definitely worth experiencing. It's also great for photos. Although some details in the room are a bit old and the facilities are somewhat average, the overall ambiance outweighs these shortcomings, so it's still a worthwhile choice. The service was also very attentive and excellent. The fruit platter in the room was replenished daily with various seasonal fruits, which was a thoughtful touch. In the evening, they would deliver things like white fungus soup (though we didn't drink it), but it left a very good impression. The butler was also very professional and accommodated all our needs. The pool was clean, and the longer we stayed over the 5 days, the more comfortable it became. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Kunming. Additionally, I have some personal suggestions for improvement: 1. There are too few non-smoking twin rooms. We were involuntarily assigned to a smoking floor (10th floor), which they claimed had been treated to remove smoke odors. However, for the first two days, there was still a strange smell of smoke mixed with old carpet, an indescribable odor, which made it difficult to sleep well. It was quite bothersome. I hope more non-smoking floors can be added, and that room odors are thoroughly dealt with. The carpets could also be cleaned more frequently. 2. The shower is located inside the bathtub. Even with a shower curtain, water would inevitably flow over the edge of the tub, leaving the entire bathroom floor wet after showering. This was very inconvenient. We had to use towels to block the edge of the tub each time we showered, which helped a little, but water still escaped. I hope there's a way to improve this. 3. The wall near the room entrance has a thick, leather-like texture, but the surface is aged, with many pieces of the outer layer peeling off and flaking. I hope this can be improved. 4. Overall cleanliness still has room for improvement. When we first checked in, there were many water stains on the bathroom mirror! 5. The breakfast was generally delicious, but compared to other 4- and 5-star hotels, it lacked stir-fried rice and stir-fried noodles. I hope more stir-fried dishes can be added. Not everyone likes rice noodles, and if you don't eat them, the other main course options are quite limited. 6. There's no swimsuit spin dryer in the changing rooms by the pool, and the pool doesn't have lane dividers. These are points that I feel could be improved.

Our entire stay was excellent, thanks to Heidi's thoughtful and attentive service, and the polite and enthusiastic staff. All the service details were spot on. The hotel has been open for ten years, so some facilities are a bit dated. My main wish for improvement would be the guest room TVs; even standard small hotels now support screen mirroring, but a five-star hotel doesn't, which is quite inconvenient. For our extended stay, we were given a 270-degree view room with expansive high-altitude views that were stunning. The room was quiet and comfortable, and the bedding was soft, significantly enhancing our experience. Aside from the minor disappointment with the TV equipment, everything else—dining, service, and views—was impeccable. It remains our preferred choice when visiting Kunming. The overall location is very good, the bed was comfortable to sleep in, and the room layout was well-designed and excellent. The hotel offers great high-altitude views, perfect for relaxing after exploring, enjoying a bath and a drink while overlooking the city.

The environment of the homestay exceeded expectations, the decoration was elegant and clean, the lighting view was great, and the daily necessities were all available. The young lady at the front desk was kind and responded promptly if there were questions. It was very convenient to travel and eat around. It was too pleasant to live here on the trip. It was really worth staying!

The room was clean and tidy, with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a small terraced field. Thanks to the underfloor heating, the room wasn't damp at all and felt warm. For breakfast, you could choose between Chinese and Western styles; I went with the Chinese rice noodles, which tasted great. The service was excellent too. The only minor drawback was a slight odor in the bathroom. You couldn't smell it in the room when the glass door was closed, but it was quite strong when opened. Hopefully, they can look into that.

This hotel is a hidden gem! I booked a special offer room, and they assigned us a cave-themed room. My girlfriend absolutely loved it, and it was perfect for photos. The service was excellent, with free airport pickup and complimentary breakfast. The room even had coffee and Pu'er tea, and it was immaculately clean. The only minor thing is that there's no window, but with the air conditioning and fresh air system, it wasn't an issue at all. The room was very quiet. Downstairs, there are electric scooter rentals, a supermarket, and all sorts of local eateries. Highly recommend!

Rraymond200909On the positive side, the hotel has quite a few recreational facilities, and the room amenities are decent and relatively new. On the negative side, the biggest problem is the excessive dampness in the room. It was uncomfortable to sleep in, and although the hotel changed the bedding, it didn't help much. This might be due to the humid air during the rainy season in Xishuangbanna, but two things puzzled me: 1) The front desk said no one else had reported this issue before. 2) I stayed at three hotels during this trip, and Zhucheng was the third. The other two were right next to Zhucheng, and their rooms didn't feel noticeably damp. Also, the hotel room didn't pay enough attention to some details. The sofa arrangement prevented the curtains from closing completely automatically; I had to manually close them. The refrigerator was also quite noisy, which affected my sleep.

MM21810****Choosing the Adaman Hotel by Mingyoo Li Cheng was absolutely the best decision I made for this Xishuangbanna trip. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the corridors enveloped in tropical greenery, exuding an exotic vibe. Every snapshot I took turned into a stunning, atmospheric photo. The room was spacious and cozy, with smart controls throughout, making everything super convenient. The bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep every night. The location is also fantastic – close to the airport, which makes getting around a breeze. Whether you want to escape the crowds for some peaceful time or explore Xishuangbanna's beautiful sights, this place is perfectly suited. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Xishuangbanna!

GGuest UserA very beautiful and cozy hotel. There's a lovely swimming pool on the 12th floor, and the hotel also has a laundry room and gym – very convenient. The receptionists, Bingbing and another young lady, were both very nice and caring towards children. They handled all our difficulties and problems proactively and appropriately, with warm and welcoming smiles. We asked them any questions we had about our trip, and they always provided practical advice. Thank you so much! We had a very pleasant stay.

OOlive GohWhen I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made. The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car. When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff. The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion. This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time! One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay. Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again.

XXiaodianziyouhaodianziHotels are so competitive these days! This four-star hotel's bedding, room size, and facilities are on par with five-star establishments. We stayed in a family room with our child, and the two 1.5-meter beds were perfect. The hotel even proactively contacted us beforehand to arrange a bed rail, which was a nice touch. Parking within the resort is convenient, and the surrounding transportation is excellent. It's very close to various attractions whether you're driving or using an electric scooter, yet it's still quiet. The hotel's pool and gym are open to the public, featuring a standard 50-meter pool, a children's play pool, and fantastic parent-child shower rooms. They also offer complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch, and late-night snacks, so there's always food available. While the variety isn't huge, it's very thoughtful. Plus, there are massage chairs, a Republic of China-style photo corner, mahjong, billiards, and a laundry room – all incredibly comprehensive facilities, and they're all free! The value for money here is truly outstanding. If you're on the fence, you should definitely consider it. We had a very comfortable two-night stay. The staff, including the concierge and housekeeping, were all very enthusiastic and professional.

GGuest UserThe room was super luxurious, with a balcony, a spacious living room, and a bathtub, directly facing the Shwedagon Pagoda and the Mekong River. The facilities were complete, and the staff were very friendly. The only drawback was the underground parking garage, which was shared by several hotels; it was a bit chaotic but still managed to be orderly. The location was excellent, with bustling commercial areas both in front and behind, making shopping and dining very convenient.

GGuest UserThis is by far the best accommodation in Baisha Ancient Town! Views, comfort, and service are all top-notch. Open the window and you're greeted by a stunning view of the snow-capped mountains. The whole room is smart-home enabled with underfloor heating – they really went all out with the amenities. The butler service is on-call, and laundry and drying are completely free. It's close to the ancient town, yet tucked away for peace and quiet, and free parking is super convenient. Meals are thoughtfully prepared with fresh ingredients, and even the toiletries are high-end Le Labo. The value for money is incredible; after staying here, I want to recommend it to all my friends!

GGuest User1. Basic room type, no privacy, the window is on the adjacent balcony. It's unbearable to stay in the room unless you draw the curtains. To protect privacy, you have to accept the room having no window. 2. Hotel prices fluctuate wildly. We paid the price of a balcony room for a basic room, and were very unhappy. 3. Don't have high expectations for the hotel's complimentary lunch and dinner. We ate out ourselves, and the food was terrible—very little food, and the dishes weren't clean. 4. The hotel was very crowded. When we checked in, there was a meeting and a wedding banquet. The laundry room was full and unusable, and the parking lot was full; we circled around three times before we could find a parking spot.

GGuest UserStaying three nights at this snow mountain view B&B was hands down the best decision of our trip! Five stars, no doubt 🌟. The service was incredibly attentive; right from booking, we felt the owner's warmth. Not only did it include free transfers to nearby attractions, but the driver was punctual every day, helped with our luggage, and completely took the stress out of transportation – super convenient. The B&B itself was a pleasant surprise too. The whole-house smart system was sophisticated and convenient, with voice control for lights, AC, and curtains. In the morning, I just had to say, 'open curtains' from bed, and the majestic snow-capped mountains appeared unobstructed before my eyes. At night, it automatically adjusted to sleep-aid mode – the blend of technology and nature was absolutely brilliant. What truly captivated me was the ever-changing scenery. In the early morning, the 'Golden Mountain' phenomenon painted the snow peaks with a golden glow, a truly breathtaking sight. In the evening, the sunset's fiery clouds colored the sky like a vibrant oil painting. On the afternoon of our third day, after a brief shower, a huge rainbow arched across the mountains, and we couldn't help but cheer. These three days, from dawn to dusk, every window offered a living landscape. Even better, the value for money was excellent; for such a premium view and service, the price was very affordable. I've already recommended it to all my friends and will definitely bring my family back next time. It far exceeded all expectations!
