I stayed at this hotel with my sisters and we had 2 rooms. The reception staff was very pleasant, helpful and professional. We arrived about an hour before check in time and were pleasantly surprised as the rooms were ready . Spacious rooms , well maintained and clean . The bed linen etc was also very good . We actually ate dinner at the restaurant and it was freshly made and good value . Breakfast next day was also plentiful. The hotel was quite busy but staff seemed to be working very hard .

Fella 4 doors down said he saw what looked like a lady in Victorian dress pass him on the stairs, he said he was also awoken at 3am by the same apparition standing at the foot of his bed pointing at him. But to be fair he did stink of booze. Not exactly the Chelmsford Hilton but not a bad gaff for the price. Great location, had a feel of a classic hotel about it, bit like the one out of the Shining but with more Jack Duckworth than Jack Nicholson. Drinks in the bar weren't bad but did have to question the scotch as it had an after-taste that bought back memories of intamacy with an ex-Girlfriend who only showered once a week. Situation was sorted imedietely and went onto G&T's with a few Dolly birds up from Hastings so wasnt a problem. A group of locals outside tried to intimidate when one ventured out but after squaring up to the ring leader, fists raised and eyeballs looking like that italian bald ref from back in the day the fella and his cronies sooned backed down. Not sure its a place for youngsters or families but for a 62yr old fella like myself looking for a night away from the Missus its the perfect gaff. Highly recommended.

Overall we were pleasantly surprised with our stay since it was our first time staying at this hotel chain. The location was convenient being right next to the A2, yet still peaceful inside our hotel. The room was very large, the customer service was great and the value for money was so much better than the more established chains. There’s also an independent coffee stand just a short walk from the hotel. It’s called grounded coffee and we recommend a visit. A highly recommended hotel.

All the staff are really good, from check in, bar staff and those in Wheelers. We had asked for a room with a bath, and although originally the guy on reception was not sure, whenwe got in the room we did have one. Maybe we should have been told about the scafolding outside the window? Dinner was great. We had not booked breakfast, but since dinner had been so nice we decided to have breakfast. When we got there wew were told that they were so fully booked, but they took us into Wheelers. The small breakfast was superb, and my wife enjoyed her breakfast and latte, what a result that was. Only slight negative about the whole stay was that some glasses and used plates remained outside the rooms, adjacent to our room, but other than that this hotel is really good.

Another one night stop over at this rather worn out looking Campanile which still had modem connections: yikes. That said, it was still an enjoyable stay all the same. (The Campanile's at Liverpool and Manchester have the same worn look). If people are traveling to the ferry port or euro tunnel then this is hotel is a must, as a one night stop over. Its always best for travellers that they should be south of the Thames if its to the ports they are traveling too. The room was clean and tidy and the staff more than helpful and the hotel is not far from either Asda or the Bluewater shopping centre - get out and about (there's a good walk along the Thames also). The breakfast was very good and included in the booking price. All in all a good night stop over in a good hotel, in a good location and with excellent staff (never know bad ones) what more do yo want. Bon journey

This is a very nice hotel with plenty of available parking (a small fee of £5 per night is not unreasonable). We booked a family room which had two double beds for the three of us. The beds were very comfortable and the room had a huge flat screen TV, refrigerator, and a small coffee table with comfortable chairs beside the window. The bathroom was a good size with batch and shower within - the side of the bath may have been a little high for someone with mobility issues. Large reception area with plenty of seating, a coffee bar and bar nearby. The buffet style breakfast was excellent with plenty of freshly cooked food and a good array of pastries. There's also a free gym, pool, steam room and sauna. But, of course, during our two night stay, the latter three were all closed for maintenance! We booked our two nights on separate bookings due to a change of plans. This caused some confusion at reception and took a while to sort out so we didn't have to change rooms.

We stayed at the Hilton Dartford a couple of weekends ago and I can only applaud this lovely/friendly hotel for their staff and experience. The receptionists are just lovely and attentive and their attention to detail in making you feel welcome was lovely. Nina Djamal is a fantastic front desk host exactly what is needed to welcome/relax guests! It was a very enjoyable experience The hotel itself is beautiful since the refurb and interior is everything you hoped it would be. Their is a gym/pool/sauna/beauty rooms and the bar snd restaurant area lovely. We will definitely be back as this is a nice local hotel for a little time away snd near to shopping/restaurants etc. Would be wonderful to see afternoon tea and a cocktail menu added, would be pretty much perfect for me then :)

My partner and I got married at Cave this month. We fell in love with it back in 2020 and booked it almost immediately. The communications with the wedding team was great and made the process easier. Megan is our 2nd wedding coordinator due to our first taking on a new job role elsewhere. The handover was effortless that we couldn't tell and pretty much forgot there was a change in staff. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food, location and have been boasting about it to this day. The staff were fabulous, friendly, very professional and accommodating to our guests. As part of the wedding package, we were able to stay the night at the Bridal suite which is absolutely stunning with outstanding panoramic views of the golf course and access to the Spa and Gym. There was a member of staff, Chloe who worked at the hotel reception and she was extremely helpful. The day after, we packed our car tight and had no room left for a balloon gifted by the hotel and our top table flowers. Chloe kindly stepped up and offered the boot of her car which my now husband collected from the next day. In a years time, we'll get to return to enjoy our 1st anniversary dinner as part of the wedding package but I guarantee we'll be back sooner than that. Thank you so much again. Have been to this hotel many times over the years but had 2 visits this Yr 1 in January and now 2 nights to visit family receptionist was useless didn't explain just waffles on and on and the put money on card which wasn't approved by us this hotel is useless now and when got back yesterday found no toilet roll had to go to reception to ask waited over 10mins mum was desperate had 2 use public toilets not good enough. Cups at breakfast were dirty food was over cooked and bread for toast was nearly stale. This hotel is rubbish now won't be returning have cancelled a 4 night stay for birthday in mid march want a decent visit not a poxy 1 like this 1 and also knocking on door at 0930 asking to clean room even though we hadn't checked out had to tell her to go away they should wait not intrupt guests . DONT USE THIS HOLIDAY INN

This is the only hotel I will stay in when I am in the area. Excellent staff, clean and very comfortable. It is directly opposite the services so you can literally walk out of the door and into the door of the services. The rooms are very cozy and clean.

This is the 4th time I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Folkestone, but the cost of this booking was hugely more than I've had to pay before. The hotel is fine, and the buffet breakfast is excellent, opening at 6am, allowing an early start on Le Shuttle.

Hotel was lovely. Staff were very helpful. Very clean. Perfect breakfast. We are going back soon with some friends. Would recommend it 100%

There was no hot water on arrival, been given a room with disabled shower and with a door linking to another room . After complaining it was changed but the hustle was inconvenient. Wouldn’t book there again. Not what we expected

We stayed at Tudor Park hotel in 4 days during eastern holiday 2022. Our main activity was playing golf. We liked the hotel, the golf course and the cosy surroundings in Bearsted. There is much positive to wright about. The golf course was perfect to play at our mid-range handicap, we liked the SPA and leisure facilities and not to forget: Fantastic nice weather the whole time! Can anything improve? Yes. 1. The hotel has to find a solution to avoid carrying golf bags to the room every day. It should offer a storage room nearby the pro-shop. 2. Very friendly service at the grill restaurant, but the management should follow up the quality and routines on attention to the dinner guests. It's not OK to wait 15 minutes to get water refill and finally leave the table to find a waitress. 3. The bartender competence was not acceptable. When a bartender don't know what a standard Gin&Tonic is... 4. The hotel room was nice and clean. But very small and we missed a mini-bar. Our room location was terrible. (138) Miles and miles with small corridors and no outdoor facilities. Not even a chair. Again - we have given a high overall rating, we can absolutely recommend the hotel and the golf course, and we will most probably come back!

Having not stayed here for many decades now I was hoping for better. It didn’t start well at reception when asking about the offer of papers in a “privilege” room I was told .. “yeah but you gottta pay for them”! An hour or so later I found the booking confirmation which clearly said papers included with a privilege room. A second visit to reception produced a comment along the lines of “I don’t know anything about that” accompanied by a shrug of the shoulders. Not a good start. I was also surprised that there was no hotel services book in room therefore no info on health club, meal times, operation of coffee machine etc. Even the very basic hotels usually have these. A question on this produced the same line of not knowing anything about it! The room wasn’t anywhere near the standard suggested and was extremely tired and not particularly clean with dusty areas all over. Windows were old fashioned aluminium which meant they needed to be closed due to the A20 nearby. This meant they were dripping with condensation in the morning! One of the bedside light switches was broken and was fixed after reporting, unlike the toilet roll holder that was also broken buy never got fixed! The duvet supplied was far too warm for summer and I have no idea why the bed was so massive but it was quite comfortable. The bathroom was adequate, no more. All in all, I think that Premier Inn rooms are much better and an awful lot cheaper! On the good side... The young guy in bar was very helpful on many things, perhaps he should have been on reception? The restaurant food was good in the evening, breakfast simply OK. I just wish those waiting on wouldn't keep calling everyone 'guys'. Because the bar/lounge and restaurant were essentially the same room, the television on at one end does nothing for the restaurant guests apart from annoy them! But the Health club and were pool fine!

Just had 3 really, really, enjoyable nights at the BHI. Wonderful location, went on two lovely runs in the area directly on to the North Downs Way. Rooms were fine, great bath and shower, plenty of space. Lovely food, dinner and breakfast were great, in a wonderful atmospheric pub. (Amazing mushrooms at breakfast!) Lovely staff across the board , helpful, friendly, welcoming from reception, to the owner, to the cat, to the wait staff - all lovely. My one, single improvement point would be to have fresh coffee for breakfast over instant. Would absolutely come back - thank you for a lovely friendly stay.
