The Candia hotel was a very short and easy walk with a lot of luggage from the train station. I was able to check in an hour earlier than they state in the information and the receptionists were very helpful. The hotel is a short walk to the underground station in Thessaloniki from there it was a short train ride ( very exciting if you get a front seat) to all the museums and centre. The room at Candia was very large with a big bathroom and was very comfy, clean and relaxing. There are shutters in the windows that was good for the mornings. Nd the sun did not wake me up! Breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of hot and cold food. I especially liked the fruit and yoghurts with an array of extra bits for healthy toppings. The swimming pool was lively and I had fun in the sun. There were plenty of staff to help there and make my stay fabulous. The views from the top of the hotel were great and I wished I’d taken some images! Thessaloniki has a lot to offer travellers who enjoy culture, which is why I chose to stay there.

We got the junior suite for our family of 4. The room was quite spacious and the kids loved the jacuzzi bathtub. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was excellent. Location was also great with the subway just outside. The view of Athens from the rooftop was also awesome… a great way to end our stay at Athens being able to see all the places we visited. The only issue I had was with the parking. While the hotel has parking, lots are limited and was full when we arrived. I had to find street parking. The first night, I was lucky and found one quite quickly and only about 6mins walk from the hotel. The second night, I took close to an hour to find parking. There was paid 24hr parking across the street but they couldn’t accommodate our larger car. The only other slight problem with our room was that the wind would hit against the door early in the morning when other people where checking out… as ours was a corner unit. It sounded like someone was slamming on our door and it woke me up. Took me awhile to figure out the rapping on the door was caused by the wind and not some prankster.

Good location. Very nice view from my room and rooftop restaurant. Spacious and clean room. Staff are nice and patient. The front desk staff Ioannis is very helpful to arrange airport transfer for us. The driver is very helpful too. Great experience. Highly recommended.

Definitely recommend this hotel. I've never written a review before. Welcoming from the moment you step into the hotel. Staff are extremely helpful and carry a warm smile. Restaurant staff go out of their way to meet your requirements. And they even allow you to store your luggage if your flight is later then your check out. Not only they allow you to all that, but go as far as allowing you to use the pool area..the swimming pool shower. One of the best experiences I've had staying in a hotel. Top. 💯

The sanitation is relatively clean. We arrived on the morning of the 11th. They stored our luggage very considerately. Then we went out very early on the 13th. They also packed breakfast for us. They were very enthusiastic and the service was very good. The breakfast was quite good. But I forgot to ask when the deposit would be refunded when I checked out?

This hotel is simply divine! It’s brand new construction. The rooms, bed, air conditioning are wonderful. The Athens view roof top restaurant is one of the best parts of the hotel. The food is delicious. The service is exceptional. The morning breakfast is the best breakfast that I have ever had in a hotel. The breakfast room with outdoor garden is serene and a wonderful experience. The only negatives are: 1) The pool is cold and not heated 2) The hotel is far away from the desirable area of plaka or Monastiraki. $15 Euros by cab or 1 hour walk.

The hotel is not big, just a small white building, but the location is great (Vouliagmeni is a wealthy area in Athens). It is surrounded by private villas. There are bays, lakes, restaurants and supermarkets nearby within a few minutes' walk. I stayed in a superior single room. The room was very elegant and clean. It also had a small balcony facing the street and was very quiet. The front desk service was very friendly. They helped me book a taxi (don’t forget to tip) and patiently told me the location of the supermarket. My flight was late, and they agreed without hesitation that I would check out an hour later. The room was also very clean. I tipped the waiter 1 euro every day and she was very happy. If you have any questions, just talk to the front desk, they are very efficient. This is an excellent place for vacation and leisure. The Mediterranean climate is pleasant, the air is fresh, and the sea water is very clear and clean. The nearby Vouliagmeni Lake is a seawater hot spring lake. Many locals come here to swim. It is a paradise for those who like swimming. The price is very cost-effective when booking in advance, and the price-performance ratio is very high. It is very expensive in peak season. The hotel's breakfast is a buffet with all kinds of Greek specialties. I didn't get tired of eating it for five days. The Greeks are just as good at cooking as the Chinese, and our tastes are similar. Most of the nearby restaurants are seafood, with first-class environment, all on the seaside, and very cheap and delicious. Friends who like seafood can really enjoy it. If I have the chance, I will stay at this hotel again.

The hotel is located in a quiet and beautiful area although somewhat far from Athens, the Acropolis (40 minutes by bus and metro). The hotel looks renovated and very nice, the staff is super friendly and willing to help you with everything, they speak several languages ​​so surely a person at the reception speaks your language and it will be easier for you to understand them. The only drawback is that the avenue that runs right next to the hotel is very wide and at night you can hear the noise of motorcycles passing by at high speed. The insulation of the windows could be improved although we were able to rest perfectly.

The room is large and quiet. The service is very good and luggage can be stored for free. The biggest highlight is that you can see the Acropolis and the whole view of Athens from the 7th floor of the hotel. It is so shocking and so cool…
