The hotel is in a very central location and has its own underground paid parking lot. Parking is free at the door at night. The oysters in the nearby town of Bluff are delicious. There is a very popular local restaurant that is great and requires advance reservation. New Zealand's express hotels do not retain guest information, only verify the reservation name, and pay great attention to privacy.

The staff at Reception were really enthusiastic. My grandma recommended a restaurant to me when I checked in. She also showed me a map of where to go and where to buy supermarkets. She also gave us a bottle of milk in each room. The guy who checked out the next day heard that we were going to Invercargill and specifically recommended that we take another route along the coast, saying the scenery was better.

Location is not too far from central - walking distance. Nice millennium hotel with bathtub, nice bed and good service. Breakfast basic though. No gym or sauna. Free parking! Comes with a nice lakefront view!

The hotel is a bit dated and could use some renovations, especially in the rooms, to improve the overall comfort for guests. Moreover, the wifi was very poor, cannot be used the internet at all, should improve! However, the front desk staff provides excellent service in the morning, and they offer great recommendations for local attractions.

The staff are generally friendly however the service is not up to expectation. We are suppose to checkin at 2/3pm, and had a confirmation called from the hotel in the morning. However, when I arrived at 4pm, I was told that it’s not ready and they need till 5:30pm to have the room ready. The place was under renovation and it’s messy and dusty, but the room is nice and clean. Overall it’s good with nice view.

There is a small hall plus a room and a bathroom. There is a parking space at the door of the room. Service: Very enthusiastic, will proactively ask about your next travel plan, and give you some suggestions and city maps to help you better experience the surrounding scenery.

The landlord is very welcoming. He contacted us in advance to help us choose a room. Because we have children with us, the landlord enthusiastically recommended that we live on the second floor. I can absolutely recommend this place..it was delightful and very reasonably priced, possibly because it is not on the waterfront, but the cabin and service well and truly makes up for it's less than prime position. Could have stayed there for much longer.

The 4-person room with bathroom, a big bed, a high and low bed, the bedding does not look white enough, people with cleanliness may not adapt, but there is no problem sleeping all night, no smell, no uncomfortable atmosphere, it does not look very clean. The camp is small, but there are facilities. The management staff is very good and very enthusiastic. There is no problem in the pursuit of cost-effectiveness.
