"In love with this resort 😍 we have been travelling full-time for 4 years and this resort is definitely one of my favourites ❤️ First and foremost the service is incredible and immediate, they welcome you like you are coming home and offer you lovely teas, and then later cakes in your room. They make you feel genuinely cared for during your stay... you aren't just another room number ✨️ Everything from arrival, to airport drop off was superb, and thoughtful. It's not a huge ”copy-paste” type of resort, it's very unique and zen. Wellness focused 🪷 The rooms are huge, gorgeously decorated, comfortable and equipped with everything you could need. Absolute perfection 👌🏻 There is gorgeous art throughout the resort, and I absolutely loved the welcome note along with all the little booklets in the room. The resort boasts a beautiful spa and gym, a gorgeous pool over-looking a pristine beach and one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen in my life 🏖 The breakfast was excellent and the decor in the restaurant, was once again, fabulous, with high-quality options and not to mention to free-flow sparkling wine 😍🥂 Staying at this resort is an experience, it's not just accommodation. If I ever go back to Phu Quoc, it will be my first and only choice. Well done Salinda Family 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻✨️✨️✨️"

With a stay at Bliss Phu Quoc, you'll be all set to unwind after a day of travel. This property is home to a restaurant. Start your day by grabbing a coffee or drink from the cafe. Staff at this property's front desk can speak 2 languages, including English. For extra convenience, free luggage storage and free dry cleaning are available at the property as well.

"The Vibe & Rooms The first thing you’ll notice about Bliss Phu Quoc is how spacious and high-quality the rooms are. If you appreciate a room that doesn't feel cramped, this is a major win. The hotel truly comes alive at night—the lighting creates a fantastic atmosphere that makes the whole property feel premium and inviting. Location & Amenities The location is a standout feature. You are just steps away from the beach and several major attractions, making it easy to hop between the sand and the city. Just blocks away, there is a massive, relaxing swimming pool that is perfect for a lazy afternoon. For foodies, there’s a local market and numerous restaurants nearby serving incredible local cuisine and fresh seafood that you shouldn't miss. (The Wi-Fi Catch) While the hotel is excellent in almost every other category, the Wi-Fi is a significant drawback. During my stay, the connection was very unstable. The staff mentioned an issue with the optic fiber cable, which might be a temporary or regional issue, but it was enough of a struggle that I chose not to extend my stay. The Pool & Family Vibes: It is frequently cited as a family-friendly spot, with the pool being a highlight for those traveling with children. The Internet: While the hotel advertises high-speed Wi-Fi, regional issues with Vietnam's undersea fiber optic cables (like the APG and AAE-1 lines) often cause intermittent slowdowns across the island, which explains the ”optic fiber” explanation given by the staff. Attractions Nearby Suoi Tranh Waterfall: Located about 9–10 km away, this is a beautiful spot for a light hike and a dip in natural rock pools. Duong Dong Market: The island’s largest outdoor market. It’s perfect for experiencing local life, buying souvenirs, and trying street food. Truc Lam Ho Quoc Zen Monastery: A stunning, peaceful pagoda overlooking the ocean, offering some of the best views on the island. Sao Beach (Bai Sao): Famous for its powdery white sand and turquoise waters—it's often called the most beautiful beach in Phu Quoc. Phu Quoc Night Market: A vibrant evening destination where you can find endless stalls of grilled seafood, rolls, and local crafts."

From the moment I was collected at the airport to the seamless check-in experience, everything at the Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc was first class. As a VIP member, I was delighted to be upgraded to a beautiful King Suite with as sea view of the Gulf of Thailand, and enjoyed complimentary half board throughout my stay, which made the experience even more special. What impressed me most was the warmth and professionalism of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble and everyone worked hard to ensure my stay was comfortable, relaxing and completely stress free. A special mention must go to George and Vitia, who were exceptional throughout my visit. They are outstanding ambassadors for the Radisson brand and their genuine hospitality made a lasting impression. The resort itself is stunning. The enormous swimming pool and pristine private beach make this a must-visit destination when travelling to Phu Quoc. The food was excellent throughout, with the breakfast buffet being particularly impressive, offering an incredible variety and quality. This was my first stay at the Radisson Blu Resort Phu Quoc, but it certainly won’t be my last. I look forward to returning soon with my family, and I know they will absolutely love it just as much as I did. Highly recommended. ★★★★★

It's a bit old, but still very well-maintained. It's only a ten-minute drive from the airport and they offer a shuttle service there and back. The breakfast is great, with pho and DIY banh mi. The front desk staff are all very friendly and patient. I'd definitely come back next time!

Evelyn Villa - Sun Tropical Village Phu Quoc Near Khem Beach

Good to all travelers! We stayed at this villa as a family. We liked the villa very much, we rate it 10/10. The house's design is thoughtful. The rooms are well thought out and well equipped. The bathrooms are very nice. The landscaping with tropical trees and flowers is great. Bougainvillea is great. The night lighting of the villa is very impressive. Every three days there is a complete cleaning and replacement of all towels. The linen is new, dry and spotlessly white. There is a washing machine. It helped a lot with rinsing beach clothes, T-shirts, and beach towels. Everything was dry in the morning. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need, but I would advise the manager to change one of the pans, add 8 earthenware cups instead of plastic ones and 10 pieces of small teaspoons and add 8 large plates for the main course. In this case, there will be nothing to complain about. Our extended family was comfortable staying in this villa. Everything is completely consistent with the description. The location is in a quiet location in the complex of the same Sun Tropical Village villas. Security with a barrier around the perimeter, video cameras and more. Everything is great, but take into account one very important point. This is a problem common to the entire island of Phu Quoc. The island is preparing to host a major economic summit in 2027. The whole island is one big construction and reconstruction project. And not all the villas in this complex are ready for operation. At the moment, only 30% are involved. The rest are being put into operation very quickly. With us, one of the neighboring villas was fully equipped by about 40 workers, from concrete to complete furniture and landscaping in 12 days. The pace is impressive. So, if your villa is nearby, then you will have noise problems. I talked to one of these residents, who complained that he had a villa for rent for a month, and nearby repairs. Fortunately, during our stay with Evelyn, preparatory work was just beginning. Tips for nearby restaurants - Chinese Fu Lu Kang (excellent work by a professional chef, instant service, full Chinese menu, except for Peking duck, we recommend absolutely everything). Grill Station is a decent menu when you want to switch from Vietnamese cuisine. Com Nha Vietnamese Cuisine is the latest restaurant on the way to the beach. Very affordable prices and excellent food quality. Better than on the beach - Draft Beer Bai Khem. We used the last one when we were at the beach all day. I recommend all the listed restaurants. KingKong has the best currency exchange, while Khem has a 1% worse exchange rate. If you skip the transport to KingKong, then the course is the same. The general advice on Khem's vacation location is if finances allow, then Premier Residence, New Wolrd, JW Marriott. That is, the territories that were closed and completed for reconstruction with half board. The latter is important because Vietnamese cuisine is sparse and monotonous. At the same time, you are guaranteed that you do not have large-scale repairs with the demolition of floors behind your wall. We recommend the Shop-center and farm of sea and river pearls - Ngoc Hien Pearl Farm. You can even book a transfer from the hotel if you really intend to buy something. Service: very good. Concierge is a very polite and helpful employee. Our respect. Rooms: perfect Two bicycles in free use. The manager needs to fix the seat on one of the bicycles and lubricate the chains. Internet - WIFI is fast without freezes. I recommend this villa for 10/10, but I advise you to check about possible repairs before renting.

Pros: -The location was really nice if you want to visit Night Market or Sunset Town. -The view from my room was stunning. -The amenities in the hotel were great! -The gentleman at the tour table was amazing and helpful! -The servers and waitress/waiters in the restaurant were outstanding! Awesome customer service! -The SPA and customer service was absolutely wonderful! It is a must visit! Cons: -The room could use an update. The tub and shower needed to be cleaned better. You could see the dirt in both. -Lack of security: I was a solo traveler this time. I lost my key but wasn't sure if I left it in the room or someplace else and asked for new ones at the front desk. Typically when that happens at ANY hotel, they void the previous room key and provide new ones. Well, the guy at the desk 1st said I needed to pay 100000vnd for a new set of keys. I immediately told him that I was not paying for another set of keys to a hotel room. Then, he had a bell hop guy use a ”master key” I assumed to open my door. I was flabbergasted! I immediately did not feel safe that night knowing a bell hop or anyone else could open the door to my room. For someone who travels alone at times, and a women, I have NEVER seen that before. I checked out the next morning. I highly suggest to the hotel that you change this!

Movenpick Resort Waverly Phu Quoc

This Mövenpick hotel offers great value for money! The prices are reasonable, and both the facilities and activities are of a good standard. My favorite was the infinity pool – I could spend an entire day just relaxing by the pool and taking photos. The hotel also offers a wide variety of activities. Joining the morning yoga session, stretching with a sea view, completely refreshed my mind and body; it truly felt like a perfect vacation. What impressed me even more was the quality of the dining! Whether it was the live cooking at the restaurant or ordering room service, the food quality was top-notch, with no disappointments. The dishes were exquisitely prepared and authentically delicious. Enjoying gourmet food in the comfort of my air-conditioned room was a real treat. However, the one surprise (or shock) was that at breakfast time, I felt like I was instantly transported to Mumbai! There were so many Indian families in the dining area. They were very uninhibited, loud, and chatted away, completely oblivious to others trying to relax nearby. Their sense of appropriate volume in a public space was quite peculiar. If you're looking for absolute peace and quiet during your stay, I highly recommend going to breakfast early to avoid the crowds, or wearing headphones in public areas.

Very disappointing experience. This hotel simply does not meet the standards of a 5-star property, mainly because of its front desk and sales team. We originally booked three rooms. Based on the room rates available, upgrading to a 3-bedroom villa should have required only around RM100 in additional payment. However, the front desk insisted on charging us more than RM1,000 extra for just one night and refused to negotiate or offer any reasonable solution. The problems continued during check-in. We had booked two king rooms and one twin room, but instead of informing us that the twin room was unavailable, the staff simply asked if we could accept another king room. When we declined, they suggested that we pay even more to stay at their other Mövenpick property instead of taking responsibility for the issue. The biggest disappointment was the front desk’s lack of professionalism and problem-solving ability. Every time we made or extended a booking through Trip.com, the platform confirmed our reservation and payment immediately, yet the hotel repeatedly claimed they “couldn’t see the booking” and asked us to contact Trip.com ourselves. We spent hours at the front desk on multiple occasions waiting for them to sort out issues that should have been handled internally. Every extension became the same frustrating process. To be fair, not all staff were bad. The buggy service team and most other hotel employees were friendly and helpful, and one gentleman at the front desk who wore glasses was polite and professional. Unfortunately, everyone else at the front desk, as well as the sales team, left a very poor impression. The villa itself was comfortable, although the housekeeping could have been more thorough. At this price point, I expected a smooth and professional 5-star experience. Instead, we experienced poor communication, weak management, and constant frustration. The excellent service from other departments could not make up for the failures of the front desk and sales team. I would not recommend this hotel unless significant improvements are made to the front desk management, staff training, and customer service.

The villa was fantastic! We got a 3-bedroom villa and all the rooms have en-suite bathrooms. The villa pool is very clean without any bugs swimming in it. Buggy service was very on time as well, never had to wait long for them. In-villa dining was a really good experience too. We booked a private snorkelling trip with them and the service was good there too. Overall a fantastic stay, the only downside I would say is the bigger rooms’ aircon is not as strong as expected, especially in a hot island like Phu Quoc. This resort is not near any of the touristy place like Sunset Town or Grand World, but it is nothing a cab ride cannot solve. Highly recommend!

Milana Beach Resort & Spa (Chez Carole Beach Resort & Spa)

7.4/10

To summarize ”Chez Carole” failed to impress me. I stayed 6 days early November. As mentioned by other reviewers there is a lot of potential but... The beach and the tranquility are definitely a plus. The beach is nothing extraordinary but it is ideal if you just want to relax and enjoy ”farniente”. However there long chairs are far from comfortable. Plain hard and heavy wood (or good imitation) with nothing on top to soften the contact ;-) There are a couple of ”kayaks” and 2 ”surf” boards to use for free. What I missed most in the hotel was facing caring and welcoming employees. There was no hello, no good morning (except at the restaurant for breakfast and even there not always) or good day. Mostly no eye contact. With very very few exceptions the staff was distant, not welcoming and, well, not helping really. John the manager does his job professionally but I missed a deeper contact. Chinh in charge of the egg station (very good omelets) and pho was great and fun and helpful. So was Thienh (?) in the kitchen cooking wonderful plates with fish for me every night. A bright smile. A desire to please guests. Genuinely. I loved that ... and of course the food he prepared. Tâm in the restaurant was also very professional and helpful. These guys helped me feel better at the resort. Hospitality throughout Vietnam is absolutely great so my experience ”chez Carole” surprised me quite a bit. Overall the resort feels old and just maintained to survive. Dull in my opinion but, agreed, this is very personal. Also it is obviously in a remote place. It is some 2 or 3 Km walk/drive to the closest village therefore renting a motorbike or using Grab (or just asking the hotel for taxi) can be something to consider. Btw the closest Vinbus (free electric buses throughout the island, running every 15 minutes or so) stop is roughly 4 Km from the resort. I booked one of the cheapest rooms. Spacious with a desk, a good sized fridge, a locker and an efficient air conditioning system. Weird enough the fridge would only work with the key in the key holder. So taking the key with you would shut down power (electricity) for all devices, including the fridge. Not ideal to keep anything cool in the fridge when leaving for the day... The breakfast was nothing exceptional I found, especially for guests suffering from food ”incompatibilities” (in my case ”sugary” items because of diabetes due to surgery). For ”normal” people the spread was quite good with a large sweet section (breads, cakes, fruits). Unless you really want it quiet, secluded, next to a beach and with an affinity for more ”traditional” housing architecture resp. feeling with an interesting pricing, you may want to also consider other options.
