seekzhao0320I think this place offers incredible value for money. For our family of three, having a two-bedroom setup with one king-sized bed (1.8m) and two single beds (1.2m) was so comfortable. Plus, the balcony was huge, and the breakfast selection was quite good. We had executive privileges, so we could choose between dining on the 9th floor or the 1st floor. The 9th floor was quieter, while the 1st floor had more variety. The complimentary chocolates each day were a nice touch – 66% cocoa, just the right amount of bitterness, exactly to my liking.
We were really lucky with the weather for the first two days; it was sunny and the beach was beautiful. Lying on the sand, feeling the cool sea breeze, and reading a novel – those days were truly relaxing. The last two days were rainy, which wasn't as much fun.
A delightful surprise was the daily allowance of one million Vietnamese dong to spend. We hopped between the three bars, practically enjoying unlimited juice and snacks!

Guest UserExcellent! The hotel met my expectations, with delicious and varied breakfasts. To those who complain about repetitive food, I wonder if it's any different at home? :) We were given a Deluxe room with a pool view, even though we didn't request it. We visited during the off-season (August), and 6,000 rubles for a room with breakfast is a steal!!! The pool was clean, and there were plenty of sun loungers during the off-season. You can grab towels yourself at the pool and beach. The beach is excellent, just a 5-minute walk away. The grounds are lush with palm trees. Free bicycles are available, as well as a kids' club. A buggy takes you to Grand World, which is about a 10-minute walk. To get back, you just press a button at the stop and they'll pick you up. There's a supermarket nearby. There's also a convenient pass-through to the neighboring Wyndham hotel. Transfers to Safari and the park are also available on a schedule. Free airport transfer is provided.

LE MINH KHOIOur first time experiencing this place at SOL was simply amazing! The private beach and pool with breathtaking sunset views were absolutely stunning. The service was excellent, and the staff were young, cheerful, and incredibly quick and enthusiastic to help us. We were also pleasantly surprised to receive a thank you note along with a dessert from SOL. Additionally, SOL offers complimentary afternoon tea and a variety of services like yoga, a gym, and a spa. The breakfast was diverse and delicious. It's definitely a worthwhile experience for a relaxing getaway, and I will certainly be back for future holidays. Thank you, SOL, for such a wonderful experience!

Guest UserLocated right in the heart of Phu Quoc's Duong Dong, it's super convenient to get to nearby places like King Kong Mart and many great restaurants. But what really stands out are the infinity pool and private beach right in front of the hotel, and the 5-star service. The breakfast was also top-notch, with every dish carefully prepared.

Joanne.oStayed for 3 nights. The two queen beds provided ample space for our family of four, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning. While the room was cleaned daily, the pillows had a persistent musty/sweaty smell that was quite unpleasant throughout our stay. Also, the air conditioner occasionally made loud noises, which was disruptive, and the drain in the bathroom was slow. I wanted to request a room change but decided against it to avoid the hassle. It felt like this room had been used a lot, and overall, it was disappointing. The pool water quality was also poor, making proper swimming impossible. However, the Saturday bubble event was a big hit with the kids!
I just wish they had stuck to the event times. The chocolate hour wasn't something we felt the need to use daily. The breakfast restaurant was very crowded, and the food was just average. I walked to the main entrance once, and it took about 15 minutes. Note that the buggy service stops running after 6 PM.

Anonymous UserOverall I was satisfied with my stay at Movenpick residences. There were some things I think could be worked on.
Cons
1. The wait time for the buggy to go to the hotel side was too long. Sometimes the drivers also refused as they were dropping off people at the villas. Walking wouldn't be an issue normally but during the rainy season it was a bit of an inconvenience.
2. On three occasions during breakfast times my seat was taken by others or my food/drinks were cleared away whilst I was getting more food to eat. Staff assign tables to guests but I observed on many occasions people just walking in and sitting down by themselves.
3. The location is quite far from the shopping area/markets. However if you plan to relax with a beach on your doorstep this is the place.
4.Good choice of restaurants and bars but prices can be quite expensive. As a result of the location there isn't much options for lunch and dinner elsewhere unless you take a tax.i
Pros
1. Facilities are very nice and well maintained. The gym was excellent as well as the spa facilities. Seems to be a lot of options for families too which is great
2. Having the private beach area withing walking distance from the hotel is excellent.
3. Great choice of food for breakfast and different options everyday for variety. The quality of the food was also great.
4. Chocolate hour is also a nice tough with a good selection and variety of snacks.
5. Arranging transfers and shuttle buses to various places was very convenient.

FodejiaolishangyinBefore my trip, I did extensive research and looked at countless hotels, including Marriott and Regent (which are good, of course). Many people commented that Vietnam has a lot of mosquitoes and poor hygiene, and that many hotels discriminate against or are unfriendly towards Chinese tourists. This made me quite uneasy. Among the many hotels, I prioritized cleanliness, hygiene, and warm, attentive service. I ultimately chose Anantara, and it absolutely lived up to my expectations – it's fantastic! It's clean, hygienic, and the staff are almost always smiling and provide enthusiastic service. As one guest review I saw put it, 'All the friendly people are at this hotel.' 😊
My child and I had a very comfortable stay. Although there aren't many entertainment facilities, it's quiet, and my child had a wonderful time in the private pool. I gave it a full five-star rating. Chinese travelers can choose this hotel with confidence! 👍
The hotel offers a shuttle service to the nearby night market and free airport pick-up (though it's a shared shuttle with other guests). For your itinerary, the best option while staying here is to book a boat trip. The hotel is centrally located, about a ten-minute drive from the airport. Everything was excellent. Many thanks to all the staff! 🙏

JackChan1981The hotel is conveniently located right next to Phu Quoc's new night market, just a 15-minute drive from the airport. The facilities are excellent, especially the multiple swimming pools and the private beach. Breakfast is very diverse, and the room service is attentive. The room size is just right—not too big, but very clean and comfortable. It offers great value for money and is highly recommended!

Guest UserThe hotel lobby is huge. We stayed in a villa this time, and the tuk-tuk service provided free transfers to the lobby throughout our stay. The hotel offers a free shuttle bus service to the airport, which needs to be booked two days in advance. Additionally, the hotel has a poolside BBQ buffet with a fire performance and a live band show; booking in advance gets you a 15% discount. The hotel staff are warm and friendly, always greeting you as they pass by. It's a very family-friendly resort! There are also free shuttle buses to the zoo, amusement park, and Grand World Phu Quoc. All attractions are very close to the hotel, making it easier when traveling with children. The hotel's buffet has a lot of food, but it's the same every day, and the taste is decent. We only booked breakfast. The hotel facilities are excellent, with a kids' club, spa, golf, and cycling, so you can easily spend a whole day at the hotel even if it rains. The only minor inconvenience was the lack of a trash can in the villa living room. Housekeeping came daily to clean the room and the pool. Also, some staff at the hotel's cafe were unprofessional; they were loud, took half an hour to serve food, didn't proactively ask what you wanted or offer recommendations, and some even had sour expressions.
