"The hotel room was clean and quite spacious. Our main issue was that the check in time stated on Trip.com booking was 2pm. Whereas the hotel check in time was 3pm. So we had to wait in the lobby for a considerable time before being given a room. Additionally they were running late with housekeeping and we got the room only at 3.15pm. Which wasn't great as waiting with a tired kid wasn't convenient at all. I did highlight to the reception about the check in discrepancy but not sure if they corrected this online. They were friendly enough but there was no apology provided for the inconvenience and the wait. Otherwise it's a nice hotel with a spa attached."

"The hotel's location is great, right in the outlet village. It's about a ten-minute walk from Portsmouth Harbour train station; just enter the outlet from the station. The staff were all very friendly, patient, and enthusiastic. The hotel offers free luggage storage. After booking on Trip.com, I was notified via email that the central air conditioning was still under repair. Upon check-in, they gave me a can of water. The hotel facilities are typical of an older budget hotel in China, quite dated. The price was a bit high. In the room, there was only shampoo, conditioner, and hand soap, which seems to be common in UK hotels. The room was clean and well-maintained, but there was no desk, only one chair, and no charging points near the bed. Breakfast was a standard continental spread, sufficient to fill you up. A pleasant surprise was finding a Whittard store downstairs where I bought my favorite fruit tea at a discounted price. Right outside the hotel, there's a Tesco supermarket, and opposite Tesco is a brunch spot. There are also several restaurants and cafes within the outlet village, making dining very convenient. From the outlet, it's about a fifteen-minute walk to the Mary Rose Museum, where you can see King Henry VIII's favorite warship, salvaged after more than 400 years at the bottom of the sea – a must-visit for history buffs!"

"This hotel is very hit and miss. If you get a well-maintained room in a quiet area it's perfectly adequate. This latest stay matched that description, but previous stays here have not. I was in a ground floor room - I thought the policy was to put single female travellers on an upper floor, but perhaps this has changed? The window didn't have a locking mechanism so although it only opened a limited amount it would be enough for someone to get their head in. Other than that, the stay was fine. Staff I spoke to were very welcoming. I've given a lower rating for location because it's in the southbound services on the M3, which can make it noisy. Plus, if you are travelling northbound you have to go all the way back to the previous junction and turn around which is very frustrating. I probably won't stay here again."

"Nice hotel. Rooms were nice however there were black hairs all over the floor in the bathroom. Good location, not to far from Winchester city centre. Disappointing that a 4* hotel charges for parking through. Didn’t even think to check this as free parking is pretty standard but they wanted £10 at check in. Disappointing"

"Standard room in the town centre, close to high street and bus/train station so very easy to get to. Located in a pub but was very quiet, has a beer garden and space for parking if needed. Spacious room for one person and has everything you need including a kettle, tv, wardrobe with plenty of storage, towels etc. Receptionists were kind and helpful, breakfast is available for extra but I didn't get it so cannot review."

"The door lock is broken, can not be locked from the outside, can be locked from the inside. There is a problem with flushing the toilet, which is very inconvenient. The restaurant provides convenience, breakfast and dinner are good. The room is not big, just a table with a drawer, and we put it in the drawer when the cushion on the bed sleeps. If you don't look for the cleaning, say we took it. What do we want it for. Your room is just such a place to put him, I don't know how to find it."
