We stayed at Paragon when we first got married, but didn't try the hot springs. Now, on our second visit, our child is already four and a half – time really flies! This time, I originally booked a villa room, thinking it would have a private hot spring. At check-in, we were even upgraded to a courtyard room. But when we entered the room, I was really disappointed. The room was super tiny; all the space was given to the courtyard, and there was only a narrow path between the TV and the bed. After dinner, the more I thought about it, the more uncomfortable I felt, so I went to the front desk to give feedback. The trainee staff member and her supervisor were excellent; they immediately moved us to a family room on the 17th floor of the main building and gave us unlimited hot spring tickets. Our child was thrilled to see the tent and toys in the new room. So, definitely don't book the villa rooms; the difference in quality is stark. As for the hot springs, I recommend going first thing in the morning. Each spring is clean and smells lovely. When we went on the first evening, some of the springs even smelled like urine. Overall, after moving to the main building, we were satisfied with the service and everything else. It's great for a weekend getaway. When we were leaving, Cody Chen even came over and proactively offered to arrange parking for us if we visited the ancient town.

I saw a promotion for this hotel on Xiaohongshu and thought it looked great, so I immediately booked a room, arriving with high expectations. After a long journey, the staff told us there was construction outside our room and asked if we wanted an upgrade, saying we could see the room first before deciding. It was also a dark, cold, and rainy day. Honestly, if a room is going to negatively impact the guest experience, especially on a weekday when the hotel isn't fully booked, the hotel should proactively switch the room for the guest. This is the only hotel I've ever encountered where, when the room type isn't ideal, guests are expected to pay extra to upgrade. The hotel shouldn't pass on the cost of being a 'victim' (due to construction) to its guests. Regarding the environment, when I opened the curtains, I could indeed see villas being built directly opposite, with construction workers visibly moving around. The road outside the hotel was also under repair. The overall experience was quite poor. As for the facilities, although the hairdryer was a Dyson, it was missing its attachment, making it difficult to style my hair. The hinge on the bathroom glass door was broken, causing it to make a super loud noise when opening and closing, and I even thought it was completely broken and couldn't be opened or closed properly. The same applied to the walls. Overall, the service felt superficial. Constantly asking 'how was your stay?' when they knew there was construction going on doesn't automatically equate to good service.

Before coming to Quanzhou, I spent a lot of time researching which hotel to book for my first stop. Influenced by some reviews, I initially chose a slightly more expensive hotel near West Lake over the Quanzhou Hotel, thinking it would be quieter. Luckily, for the third leg of my trip, I ended up booking the Quanzhou Hotel. Even though I only stayed one night, I have to say the experience was absolutely perfect. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it doesn't show any signs of age; it's clean and meticulously maintained. Its vintage decor actually exudes a sense of understated 'old money' luxury. The hotel's service is incredibly detail-oriented; it's clear that every staff member is well-trained, attentive, and considerate without being intrusive. The breakfast spread was also very rich and varied. As for the location, it's unparalleled – incredibly convenient for getting anywhere in the ancient city, whether on foot or by taking a 'xiaobai' (local small vehicle). I was thoroughly satisfied with every aspect, and I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Quanzhou.

This was our first trip to Fuzhou with family, and overall it was a great experience! The hotel stay was very comfortable. The 2.2-meter king-size bed had plenty of space for our family of three, making it comfortable for both adults and children. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway station, and taxis are easy to catch! Both the front desk and the housekeeping staff were fantastic! I needed a band-aid, and the front desk promptly sent someone to deliver it – very efficient! Our room was cleaned quickly every day, and they provided plenty of bottled water. They also generously prepared extra toiletries for the child. Plus, the kids could go swimming.
This isn't my first stay here; whether for business or personal trips to Xiamen, I almost always choose the Kempinski.
The location is convenient, both within the city and for getting around. What I find best is how incredibly smooth the check-in process is at the front desk – there's practically never any waiting. For both travel and business trips, a seamless check-in right after arriving at the airport is the perfect start to a great experience.
Beyond the silky-smooth check-in, let's talk about the stay itself. The hotel offers both firm and soft beds, catering to more guests, which I appreciate. The pool is fantastic; if you want to get a proper swim in, it fully delivers. The breakfast, facilities, and everything else truly meet the hotel's positioning. I believe everyone has certain expectations for different hotel standards when booking, so I won't belabor the point (the same goes for breakfast). Essentially, anything you'd expect, they have, and it's all complete.
Finally, a word about the staff: friendly, appropriate, and prompt.
I think these points alone are reason enough to choose this place. Oh, I almost forgot to mention, the view from the window is also satisfying! ✌️

A truly excellent experience! The five-star service was absolutely impeccable. Just a note: swim caps are required at the pool. It would be great if disposable ones could be provided. Upon check-out, they even gave my child an adorable 'Zhuangyuan' (top scholar) themed water cup – it truly lives up to its reputation as the 'Hometown of Zhuangyuan'!

This is my second time in Quanzhou. I saw this hotel when I visited Xunpu Fishing Village and it left a great impression, so I decided to stay here. Oh my goodness, it was amazing! I booked a city view room, but because it was off-season, they upgraded me to a deluxe river view. The view truly blew me away! The room was incredibly spacious, and the bathtub had two floor-to-ceiling windows, offering fantastic views of both the bridge and the Ferris wheel – absolutely stunning. This hotel with its beautiful scenery is a must-stay when you come to Quanzhou.
The deluxe river view king room offered expansive views and top-notch facilities. The mattress provided good support but was a little firm, and the bathroom was spacious and comfortable. The JInjiang River scenery outside the window was serene, and the service was professional and efficient. Overall, the experience was precise and solid, meeting brand standards, though it slightly lacked a surprising warmth or unique memorable touch.

This was my first stay at Yuecheng Si Hotel, and I absolutely loved it! The room was spacious and bright, with complete amenities, and it was incredibly clean. The view from the room was great, letting in a lot of natural light. The front desk service was excellent; they even offered me warm water when I was checking in, and all the fatigue from my journey instantly melted away. The front desk staff also recommended many Fuzhou tourist attractions, including some great places to eat, which felt incredibly thoughtful and professional. The hotel's surroundings are also very convenient, with many dining options downstairs, so you don't have to worry about finding food. It's also very close to Chengnan Metro Station, which can save you a lot on transportation costs. I definitely have to give this hotel a thumbs up!

It's quite good. The hotel is very new. We arrived at night. The on-duty Xiaoling provided warm service. We upgraded the room type and delayed check-out until 2 o'clock. Parking is free during the stay. It is next to Wanda Plaza and convenient for eating. There are welcome fruits when you check in (but the freshness is average). There is a minibar and a capsule coffee machine in the room. The tea bags are TWG, and the quality is OK. The toiletries are also very good and smell good. There are tpyeC sockets and USB sockets, which are very convenient. Contact the front desk to provide children's toothbrushes and drinking water, and the response is timely. There is a swimming pool and gym on the sixth floor. The water temperature of the swimming pool is 28 or 29 degrees, which is suitable and not too cold. There is also a small sauna room, which is recommended.

GGuest UserThis is the our first visit to Fuzhou. I traveled with my husband and my mum. I booked 4 different hotels for a total of 9 nights in Fuzhou. Narada is the second hotel.
We stayed for two nights at the private hot spring wing. Was given free upgrade upon checking in. We were then driven to our rooms by the lovely front desk lady, Xiao Li (前台小李). She is very professional, super helpful as the moment we got out of the cab, she carried all our baggages. Throughout our trip, she is always there to answer all our questions and is very warm and personable.
The next morning, we then called the front desk for the buggy to pick us up to the main hotel side for breakfast. The spread is very good with both Chinese and Western cuisine. The chefs are very nice and approachable. I want to take this chance to thank the restaurant waitress, Chen Hong (陈虹). Every morning we were greeted by her superb service. She shared with us about the culture, food and places to go in Fuzhou. She really go out of the way to make us feel welcomed.
Checking out was a breeze too. We just called the front desk and leave our keys in the room and head off. We then made our way to next hotel nearer to the city centre. We were shocked by the condition as the surroundings and the exterior of the hotel looked so rundown and dirty. We then decide to go back to Narada. We were again served by Xiao Li (前台小李). The moment she saw us, she immediately came to us asking if there’s anything she can help us with. We told her about our horrific encounter at the other hotel and she helped us arrange for 2 rooms at the main hotel side. She even brought us up to see the rooms before committing the stay. We also met Chen Hong (陈虹) while waiting for the rooms, she was empathic and recommended other local places and events. We were so impressed by the rooms, the hospitality and the impeccable service by Xiao Li (前台小李) and Chen Hong (西餐厅陈虹) that we decided not to move in to the city centre and stayed here for 7 more nights before our flight back to Singapore.
Big thumbs up to Narada Resort & Spa, Shoukai, Fuzhou. The people there are truly amazing. Thank you very much!

AAprilblossomsGreat hotel with exceptional services.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. During our stay, we received remarkable services from the hotel staff beginning with the young Bellboy who greeted us on the day we arrived and thereafter. The front desk staff are friendly and professional; check-in was quick and easy, and especially Charis, who had patiently answered many questions that we had for Xiamen. We appreciated Lia, who helped us to get taxi by using her own phone with the local DiDi program and makes sure the taxi driver knows our destination. We also appreciated Alice from the dining room, who to cut and packed the fruits we brought from the market on the day we checked out. Last but not least was cleaned daily. We felt great when we saw a note from the housekeeper and found towels folded 🐘 on our bed one day and a swan on the next day.
MM494093****The location is excellent. The concierge was proactive in helping with our luggage as soon as we got out of the car. Check-in at the front desk was very quick, and the scent in the lobby was delightful. The service center on the phone gave us a lot of great recommendations for food and travel tips. Overall, it was a fantastic trip to Xiamen. I'll definitely choose Pullman Xiamen Powerlong again next year. Thumbs up!
2202032****A perfect trip to Wuyi Mountain, and choosing Wuyi Villa was a wise decision. This is an older, well-established state guesthouse, offering not only beautiful surroundings but also outstanding service. From the moment we checked in, the staff welcomed us, helped with our luggage, and introduced the hotel facilities. Later, while exploring the hotel's wooded areas, a staff member proactively offered to tell us more about the area. We felt genuinely touched and welcomed. The room was clean and tidy, and the hotel is just a stone's throw from the Wuyi Palace transfer point. The breakfast was also excellent and varied. Next time I visit Wuyi Mountain, I'll definitely choose to stay here again.

MM415004****The environment is clean and tidy, and the lobby staff are all very friendly. The security guard even helped us with our luggage, haha, thank you! This is my first time staying at a hotel where I returned to my room to find a birthday cake and a letter from the hotel. I've already taken the letter home with me. For all my future travels, Pan Pacific will be my first choice!

__WeChat52102****I got a free upgrade to an executive suite! Ms. Pearl, the Guest Relations Manager, was incredibly helpful! She deserves a huge shout-out! She even helped me book a lunch buffet at the Ming Court Chinese Restaurant and arranged for a birthday cake – it was amazing! The hotel's pastry chef uses excellent ingredients! The cream was so smooth, and the cake base was incredibly soft! I had such a happy birthday!
The gym has been upgraded, and I love the new equipment!!
The Christmas decorations for afternoon tea were adorable, and I indulged in so many cakes!
Evening happy hour also featured the afternoon tea cakes, which was fantastic!! Dinner was great too! I loved the soup, and there was a wide selection of alcoholic beverages! You could even make your own simple cocktails! Delancey, the lovely young lady at the executive lounge, was adorable! She has a best friend with a beautiful name! ☺️
The complimentary breakfast was incredibly rich and filling!
All in all, I'll definitely be back. This package was excellent value for money! There's no substitute for this experience in Xiamen!!
