Grand New Century Hotel Zhangzhou has a fantastic location, making it easy to access local attractions and transportation. The rooms are spacious, very clean, and comfortable, with modern amenities that meet the needs of both business and leisure travelers. Staff are attentive and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. Overall, it’s a great choice for anyone visiting Zhangzhou who values good service and a comfortable environment
Our stay in the Kempinski Hotel's city view suite during Chinese New Year was excellent. The room was spacious and bright. The evening happy hour at the executive lounge offered high-quality food and a diverse selection of drinks, all while overlooking the beautiful Yuandang Lake. Located right by Yuandang Lake, we enjoyed lovely and peaceful evening strolls along the shore, admiring the charming night scenery.
We initially booked the suite before the holiday and had an Executive King Room reserved for after. Mr. Chen and Mr. Su were incredibly thoughtful and attentive. To save us the hassle of moving rooms, they kindly arranged for us to extend our stay in the original suite, which we truly appreciate!
On the second day of the ***** New Year, the hotel's lion dance performance added a wonderful festive atmosphere. The lobby decorations and the God of Wealth distributing candies to guests in the lobby on the second day were also very delightful!
I also want to give a special shout-out to Sunny from the hotel's breakfast department. She was full of energy and vitality every day, greeting guests at the entrance with a radiant smile and a sweet voice, ensuring everyone had a wonderful dining experience!

Given that it's an established hotel, the location is absolutely fantastic. Kaiyuan Temple, Guan Yue Temple, and Chengtian Temple are all within a 10-minute walk. During the Spring Festival, the hotel even arranged puppet shows and Nanyin performances, which was a real lifesaver for those who couldn't get tickets to the puppet show. We had tickets for an evening puppet show and Nanyin performance at the Quanzhou Arts and Crafts Cooperative, and the hotel's back entrance was only a 5-6 minute walk away. This trip was planned too hastily, but next time I visit Quanzhou, I'll definitely book this hotel again. I almost let negative reviews influence my decision, but my actual stay proved that the bedding is incredibly comfortable, and it's very quiet for sleeping. Plus, there's parking for those driving, making it a must-choose for road trips. On top of that, the hotel thoughtfully prepared souvenirs and peanut soup as a late-night snack, and there was another surprise upon check-out. I'll definitely be back!
The hotel's location is super convenient, right outside Jianye Road Station on Line 2. It's easy to catch a taxi to various attractions, and the Dongdu Passenger Terminal is about a 20-minute walk away. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and they arranged our two rooms next to each other. It's an older hotel, but the facilities are well-maintained, and the cleanliness is top-notch. Ye Meilan, who was in charge of cleaning our room, is a very enthusiastic and meticulous employee. It was my child's birthday during our stay, and she helped us decorate the room, replaced the batteries in the fairy lights, and even placed a small hand towel specifically on the bathroom sink. She also gave us some great recommendations for attractions in Xiamen. The afternoon tea and evening happy hour food at the executive lounge were both fresh and delicious. We had a minor issue on the first day, and Yao Jieyi, a young lady at the executive lounge, was very serious and responsible in communicating with us. The duty manager that day also responded and resolved it quickly. Later, the hotel's General Manager, Mr. Jin, also followed up, showing how much the hotel values even small issues and resolves them quickly and well. The hotel breakfast offers a rich variety, beyond the usual star-rated hotel options, including local Xiamen specialties like 'mianxian hu' (vermicelli paste). The breakfast hostess was also very professional and had an amazing memory; on our second visit, she remembered us and led us to the same table we had sat at the first day, saying it was 'our usual spot.' We received welcome fruit, a mini-bar, and free parking. Laundry sent in the morning was returned to our room by the afternoon, which was a great touch! 👍🏻 In short, all departments at the hotel have very enthusiastic and professional staff. I will definitely choose Pan Pacific Hotel again next time I visit Xiamen.

The hotel's front desk staff, Ms. Chen, were fantastic! They patiently answered my questions during check-in and provided excellent restaurant recommendations. They even gave me a small gift upon check-out. The attention to detail was spotless. The staff were warm and attentive, and they even provided helpful recommendations for nearby attractions. The room was clean and tidy, and the value for money was excellent. I'd definitely stay here again!
This hotel is located by the Jiulong River, directly across from Zhangzhou Old Town. It offers the charm of the old city while providing a peaceful escape from the crowds. From the moment we arrived, we felt the staff's genuine care. The porter brought all our luggage to our room, and Zhang Jingyi at the front desk thoughtfully upgraded our room and gave us a detailed overview of the hotel's facilities. The hotel breakfast, in particular, felt just like home. Cai Chunhua from the Chinese restaurant enthusiastically introduced local delicacies like Shima Wuxiangjuan and Liuao sweet potatoes, patiently bringing each dish to our table. Guests not only get to savor unique local flavors but also learn about the food, making for a truly rewarding experience.

I came here with my boyfriend for a trip to Fuzhou and chose this hotel. It was unexpectedly good! It's super convenient for food, with options right downstairs. We tried Xu Tai Niu and Tian Bian Cuo, both of which were delicious 😋. The hotel service was also great; they knew we were tourists and enthusiastically shared tips on how to get to the attractions easily. They even have postcards of scenic spots 🎑, which are really pretty!

The InterContinental quality is consistently excellent. The room was spacious, and the 2-meter king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. I loved the Byredo toiletries – they smell amazing! The hotel offers fantastic views of the river, the Ferris wheel, and Jinjiang Bridge, which are stunning both day and night. Plus, there's a shopping mall downstairs, making it super convenient for shopping and dining. Since I was with my younger brother, the hotel provided a complimentary breakfast, which had a great variety of options. Overall, I had a wonderful experience, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Quanzhou.

Very Good
RrousiguI was very satisfied with the environment, hygiene, bedding, service, and location.
Now, for the two points I wasn't happy with:
1. The breakfast was bad, and we had to queue. This is the only 5-star hotel in the last five to ten years where we've actually found the breakfast 'bad'. How bad? Even the fried items weren't good... The satay noodles and mini wontons also didn't taste good. I'm not sure if the quality dropped because the hotel was full during the Spring Festival, or if it's always like this. Combined with the queueing for breakfast and the price of 200+ per person, it felt like a complete debuff. I'd recommend skipping breakfast here and eating out instead.
2. The emergency exits were not open. It was very crowded during the Spring Festival. We were on the 7th floor and waited over ten minutes for an elevator to the 2nd floor. I asked a staff member if there was an emergency staircase we could use to walk down, and was told that emergency exits can only be accessed by staff with a key card. This implied guests couldn't use them. That makes me wonder how people are supposed to evacuate in case of a fire, and how this setup passed fire inspections.
3. This third point isn't exactly a complaint, but I found it a bit odd. Around 8 or 9 PM, we returned to the hotel to rest, and a staff member brought us some snacks and then asked if we had any complaints about the service. It felt like they were hinting at whether we needed 'extra services.' I suggest they rethink this approach.
CChidaobaoThere was one staff member, 'Jingjing,' who particularly stood out. She was incredibly dedicated in her introductions and very good at solving problems, leaving a fantastic first impression of the hotel. When checking out, I encountered several housekeeping staff, and one lady in a black uniform was also very kind, repeatedly reminding us to call for the shuttle. I believe she might be a supervisor in that area. She even spoke Fuzhou dialect with my mother. I will definitely arrange future events here. I'm so satisfied that I wanted to write a bit more – these excellent frontline staff members are truly an asset and the management should definitely retain them.

GGuest UserWe decided to spend the Chinese New Year holiday somewhere new this year, and brought the whole family to Wuyishan. The hotel was definitely one of the highlights – great environment, excellent service, and the whole family had a wonderful time! I especially recommend 'Zhouxing,' the elder family members were very pleased. 👍 The beautiful scenery and delicious food in Wuyishan also left everyone very satisfied!
Zhouxing Stay Experience: Satisfied, satisfied! 👍
First-day welcome fruit amenity: I particularly recommend the hotel's homemade 'Xiaomu' cakes; we even bought two boxes to take home when we left.
GGuest UserThis stay truly exceeded my expectations! The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The hot spring pool was especially comfortable; after a soak, I felt completely relaxed, both body and mind. The staff were warm and attentive, making me feel well-cared for from check-in to check-out.
BbsnnsksismI just want to ask, does adding room preferences in the app beforehand even matter? I had already requested a high-floor and quiet room in the app well in advance. I went to the front desk to check in around 12 PM, and the receptionist told me there were no available rooms yet, only a third-floor room that would be ready after housekeeping finished cleaning. So, I contacted customer service to coordinate with the hotel, and after waiting for nearly two hours, I finally got checked into a room on the seventh floor.
I didn't arrive in the morning; checking in around noon should be a pretty reasonable time. Is it really acceptable to have to wait that long to get my room key?
BBen Ong SGOur experience at Jingmin Hotel is fantastic. The staff are extremely friendly with special thanks to one of their staff, Mr. Riley, who went the extra mile to assist my son when he required medical assistance.
The location is also very convenient, with lots of eatery nearby and just a short walk to the metro.
The room is also very clean with good WiFi.
