I stayed in a 'deluxe king room,' but I'm not sure if my definition of 'deluxe' in Hong Kong is just different. The room felt like it was stuck in the 80s – old carpets, a wardrobe door that wouldn't close, and a kettle with stains (I had to clean it myself with a toothbrush). There were no USB sockets by the bed for charging phones, one of the bedside lamps was broken, and the sofa was old and yellowed. The bathroom had three types of electrical outlets, which was nice, and the toilet was fine (just old). The bathtub had an anti-slip mat, which was a thoughtful touch. However, the bedsheets might not have been clean, as I was itching all night. Also, what's with their trash cans (some waste)? It felt like I was paying five-star prices for a two-star experience ($200/night).

We specifically booked this hotel for my child's college entrance exam, and it was excellent in every aspect – facilities, cleanliness, environment, and service. The breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, and it was very convenient to catch a taxi right outside.

Originally, I booked a Deluxe Room, but at check-in, we paid extra to upgrade to a Sky Suite on the 19th floor. The room was incredibly spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows on two sides, offering excellent light and a superb view of Victoria Harbour, with only minor obstructions. The room facilities were very complete, and the cleanliness was also excellent.
The weather in Hong Kong was a bit chilly these past two days, so I didn't go swimming, but the pool looked truly beautiful!
Regarding service, both the front desk and room service were excellent. I would definitely consider staying at The Royal Garden again next time.

The room was clean, bright, and comfortable. The front desk service was warm and attentive, and everything was well-organized. Breakfast offered sea views, and there's a lovely bar downstairs right by the sea. You can enjoy the stunning Victoria Harbour views while experiencing the friendly and thoughtful service from the smiling staff.

The location is fantastic, right above Mong Kok MTR station and next to Langham Place. The service is excellent, and all staff can speak Mandarin, with no signs of discrimination. We were also able to check in early when we arrived a bit before noon. The complimentary wine appreciation and Tai Chi classes were brilliant. The Tai Chi instructor gave many demonstrations and exercises, helping to correct our movements and explain practical applications. Learning by the rooftop pool, overlooking the Hong Kong city skyline, was a wonderful experience. Breakfast was superb, with a wide variety of choices, including custom-made fresh fruit and vegetable juices. The standard rooms are a little small and lack windows that open, relying entirely on air conditioning, but this is typical for hotels in Hong Kong. There's a tiny little park if you take the elevator to the basement and turn right upon exiting, which is quite a luxury in the heart of Mong Kok. Overall, highly recommended.

The best service I've ever experienced. Staff went above and beyond to accommodate us and the front desk staff speaks better English than me to boot.
Rooms are great and come furnished with everything you need and more. The outlets are, I believe, British standards, but the room included adapters for USB charging and American standard. Our room had a pretty swank view that captured mountain, ocean, and cityscape in one frame
Decent gym with maybe 10 treadmills, a small area for dumbbells, and enough machines to hit every major muscle group. Overall around the same caliber as a Planet Fitness.

Our 'standard room' (902) was advertised as a corner room, and while it wasn't exactly that, the view was still great, almost directly overlooking Kowloon Park. I also didn't experience any of the renovation noise that some other reviews mentioned.
After a tiring journey, it took me a while to find the hotel entrance. It's actually not on Nathan Road, but on Kimberley Road (Miramar Tower Two), right next to Coach. The hotel is very close to Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Station Exit B2, and the surrounding area is excellent for exploring.
I'd suggest upgrading the duvets, though. The down filling isn't fluffy anymore; it's a bit lumpy in places.

This hotel is incredibly convenient for attending shows at the AsiaWorld-Expo. It's just a two-minute walk over the sky bridge to get there. The hotel also offers a shuttle bus service to both the airport and Tung Chung MTR station, running every half hour, making it an excellent choice if you have an early flight. The room was clean and spacious, and they provided four complimentary bottles of water. The soundproofing was very good; I couldn't hear any airplane noise from my side of the hotel. I ordered a coffee at the lobby bar on the ground floor, but the latte art was actually worse than mine, and it cost 65 HKD. I later discovered a cheaper coffee shop just ten meters away on the side of the lobby.

This was my second time staying at Hotel Icon, and I’ll definitely keep coming back.
The view from the room is amazing, and the location couldn’t be more convenient.
A special thank you to Miss. Ruby Tse at the front desk. When I accidentally left my phone at the counter during check-in, she was so patient and quickly helped me find it. I also asked for a high floor, and she kindly arranged one for me – the view was perfect. Later, I got caught in the rain and was completely wet; Ruby noticed and handed me tissues right away. Such thoughtful and efficient service!
Highly recommend this hotel, and hope to see Ruby again on my next visit hahaha.

Kerry Hotel boasts an excellent location, making it super convenient to get around. It's really close to Tsim Sha Tsui's K11, and you can even catch a ferry to Hong Kong Island from Hung Hom Pier right downstairs. This was my second visit to their Chinese restaurant, Hung Tong, and their roasted meats are absolutely fantastic! The rooms are very spacious, perfect for families traveling with kids. The hotel service is also top-notch and very welcoming to mainland Chinese tourists!

Very Good
GGuest UserIt's been a while since I last stayed in a hotel in Hong Kong, and I'm quite disappointed.
The check-in service was actually good by Hong Kong standards (those familiar with Hong Kong service will understand). However, the first room I was assigned had an odd smell, there were unidentifiable hairs around the carpet, and the chair was worn out... That really made a bad first impression. I then switched to a second room, and the carpets along the way were visibly not very clean. Perhaps I've stayed in Macau hotels more often; any brand hotel in Macau is always very clean and reassuring. These points combined made my stay feel very uncomfortable.
This hotel is indeed very suitable for families with children, offering a swimming pool, a splash pool, and a kids' club (HKD 110 per hour). The breakfast was also good. The main draw of this hotel for me initially was the unbeatable sea view from the room! However, I do have a small suggestion: the curtains in the guest rooms let in light, so you'll be woken up by glaring light around 6 or 7 in the morning.
Qqingqing2008Staying at the Island Shangri-La this time was truly one of the most thoughtful and personalized hotel experiences I've had recently.
The hotel's overall atmosphere is sophisticated and grand, exuding a classic luxury feel that perfectly matches the 'old money' aesthetic.
The opulent and majestic lobby features high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, and rich wood tones, creating an understated yet substantial ambiance. It's like being transported back to old Hong Kong, a time when ceremony was highly valued.
💁 Impeccable and Attentive Service
Shangri-La's consistently high standard of service was fully evident here, making me feel right at home. Upon check-in, a welcome fruit platter was already in the room.
The front desk service was incredibly thoughtful: check-in was efficient, and the staff were warm and professional. As I was bringing my child to Hong Kong for an IELTS exam, I asked about the test location at the front desk. The lady at the front desk was incredibly helpful; she personally walked me out to the main entrance and precisely directed me to the test center across the street, explaining how to get there. When we checked out, she very kindly gave my child a small chocolate.
DDietmar KOur stay at W Hong Kong was nothing short of outstanding – and that's not only because of the breathtaking Victoria Harbour views, the stylish design, or the convenient location above the Elements shopping mall. The real difference was the exceptional service, especially from Alex, the Welcome Manager.
From the moment we checked in, we felt truly welcome. Despite a fully booked hotel, Alex took plenty of time to explain everything, gave us excellent local recommendations, and made our request for a high-floor harbour-view room happen effortlessly. His warm, professional, yet relaxed attitude perfectly captures the modern luxury that the W brand promises.
The room was immaculate, the famous W Bed was incredibly comfortable, the rooftop pool area was stunning, and the service at the bar was fantastic throughout our stay.
Final verdict: Whether traveling for business or leisure, W Hong Kong comes highly recommended. And if you want something special – we hope Alex will be there to welcome you. Thank you to the entire team, and especially to Alex, for an unforgettable experience.
We will definitely be back.

GGuest UserSlept soundly the first night, no issues. But on the second night, I wore the hotel's bathrobe and woke up in the middle of the night itching in my dream. I thought it was mosquito bites, four bumps on my arm, one on my neck, and then three on my back, incredibly itchy. Woke up in the morning with a red lump... already bitten... I'm a bit speechless. How could such a high-end hotel have fleas? ...All the bumps were scratched open...
YYebotulipMy recent stay at the WM Hotel was absolutely delightful, and I can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. Their genuine hospitality truly stood out throughout my visit, especially with the thoughtful touch of a birthday balloon as a gift for my celebration – it made the occasion even more special!
The room itself was a sanctuary of comfort and style. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. And speaking of views, the hotel's pool area boasted a truly nice view, which added to the serene atmosphere.
The hotel's facilities are also top-notch. The dining options offered a fantastic array of delicious choices, and the common areas were elegant and inviting. The location is also a major plus, offering convenient access to local attractions while still providing a peaceful retreat.
Overall, the WM Hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. It's the perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding service. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!
EExplorer2023It is one of the best hotels in Hong Kong I have visited. The staffs are super friendly and helpful. Everything is down to the details. The room is big with a huge bathtub. We ordered room service for breakfast and the food was great. Highly recommended.
