Not talking dirt in the bunks (thankfully) but for as new as it seems, the shared spaces are rough. Bathrooms look rough, half the soap and dryers don’t work (not a good thing for hygiene obviously), the showers were always covered in water and hot water, up for debate. Next, the place is loud. Not hostel, a few people are chatting loud and certainly not 8pm, like the room was basically in the bar and the bar was busy (see next item) till after 1. Sure, we could have closed the window to help a bit but with no other airflow in the room, it’s a choice between super loud and hot/stuffy. Loud won. Last off, during my stay, they were hosting an event which meant a ton of people hanging around. Now the event was for a great purpose and that’s awesome and everyone was friendly too but it still meant the bar was basically taken over by locals who knew each other and filled up the community spaces, instead of a traveler or even a general bar vibe. Not a thrilling thing to find out after checking in. All that said, staff was great, super friendly when I checked in and around the place. The bar / restaurant is well done with a nice range of options and decent prices though I didn’t find the breakfast worth the buffet cost. Like the other locations, rooms are nicely done, bunks have good curtains, power, lights, all the makings of a 10/10, but not.

The hotel is just opposite the train station. The front desk service is very good. After checking in, they immediately gave us a tourist map of Colmar and drew a circle for the route map. On the day we arrived, we walked from the hotel to the center, which was not far, so we just followed the circled map. The next morning, we found that there were many buses around the hotel, and we could also take them to the nearby towns. Colmar is worthy of being one of the top ten most beautiful towns!

Just a 3 min walk from Strasbourg Train Station straight across the plaza. Very easy walk to most sights such as the river and famous covered bridges and towers (5mins) or cathedral (10mins). Large mall and Galleries Lafayette (10mins)Excellent front of house staff (special mention of Gabrielle) who are very welcoming and helpful. Room we had (103) was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bed was comfortable and aircon worked well (very quiet and efficient). We had no noise from either the road or other guests. If I had to find a complaint it would have been nice to have a fridge in the room. The breakfast was excellent in quality and choice and again the staff very professional. The breakfast room is very tastefully laid out and modern.

We booked the Boma hotel for a short stay in Strasbourg due to its location, as it is right next to Petit France, within walking distance to everywhere in the oldtown, but also only a 8min walk to the train station. We never had to use any transports in the two days we stayed, the Cathedral and other landmarks were only a 10min walk. However, we were also pleased with what we found as the hotel was new, modern but with character. There was music in the halls and lift to set the atmosphere and the decor overall was urban modern but worked very well. The room was not very big but had everything we needed for a short stay: a very comfy bed with memory foam pillows, which granted us a fantastic sleep at night; small desk with a kettle and a variety of coffee/tea; the minibar had water and soft drinks (and were free); there was a large tv on the wall with some media contents (films and music) which were also free for us to use; a safe where we could store our passports, etc during our stay; the bathroom had a good size with a large shower and the amenities were surprisingly good (which sometimes is compromised in smaller hotels). Our room was facing a main street but the windows were double-glazed, so we barely could hear anything from the outside. In the lower ground floor there's a (large) luggage room with large lockers for the guests to use, self-service and free. Since we arrived at Strasbourg in the morning we used it, as check-in is only at 3pm; then used it again after checking out, for a few hours, to explore a bit more of the old town before we took the train to Paris. Breakfast was was fairly good. Mainly continental but there were also scrambled eggs and bacon. There is a supermarket 20 metres away from the hotel, which was quite convenient in case we needed to buy anything during our stay. There is also a french bakery / patisserie just across the road. A lot of other coffee shops, restaurants, shops, etc just nearby. The staff was friendly, provided all the information we needed for a great stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to visit Strasbourg, as it's perfectly located and has everything that you'll need to explore the old town.

The staff were not careful: I was called in full congress to ask why I left my business in the room (normal since I booked 2 nights), without having checked the terms of the reservation before: ( The breakfast plates that accumulate on the tables because no one to get rid of.

Traveled on VTL quarantine free from Singapore to Germany and took a car into France. Great location in Colmar. Free parking saving $16 eur a day parking in the city center. Near the statue of liberity and decathlon. Plus many superarkets. Highly recommended location Easy access to Colmar in 5 mins and to explore the rest of beautiful villages in Colmar area. Don't miss out the Le lac blanc. Extremely beautiful lake in the French countryside

This hotel location was very clean calming area but 11 minutes far from the centre by train,the staff were friendly and helpful,the room was clean with good breakfast in the morning,but the only problem I really didn't like it was the toilet,the toilet was extremely small, very very small that we couldn't take shower at all because the water was getting outside of the toilet to the sleeping room,I wish if we had good toilet to feel comfortable in the place, otherwise it was really good experience as it was first time to Straßburg,we really love the city and we enjoyed alot. It is also very close to the flixbus station, so it is suitable for people who use long-distance buses. The room was not big, but it was clean and tidy. The front desk service attitude was very good and they even said thank you in Chinese.

Lovely welcome from an efficient and helpful receptionist. Basic hotel, but spotlessly clean. Decent sized room; bathroom is small, but has everything you need. Secure underground parking opposite hotel. Less than 10 minutes walk to the centre of town. Very good overnight stop. Only minus was that our 4th floor room window was not on a retainer and could not be closed (didn't matter as we stayed in July and are adults)

Bring conditioner - the shower liquid soap is very strong - good towels The hotel is spotlessly clean There's a great selection of games including table soccer, table shuffle board, darts, board games etc. Bad: Everything provided is the most basic level and in many cases simply does not work. There are two very small very slow elevators - one of them works There is a gym - exercise room. The treadmill is a basic home version which doesn't work. It allows you to warm up and then just cuts out. If left to rest for 10 minutes it gives you another 3 minutes of running. The stationary bicycle has all the lights but doesn't work. You can sit on it and pedal with no resistance - there are no resistance settings The rooms: Tiny! No place to move... No place for your luggage - The entire closet consists of a tiny 20cm wide hanging space which as the pole on the outside edge so that half your garment is hanging outside the 'closet'. No fridge in the room. Paper thin walls. When the tenant in the next-door room closes his door the whole wall, including your bed's backboard, jolts. There are two electric outlets for charging in the entire room. One on the far side of the bed next to the window and another on the shelf next to the TV. If you get the first bed expect to spend a lot of time walking around the cramped room if you have gadgets that need to be charged. Likewise the only switch which controls the main lights in the room are next to the other bed. There's a phone to call reception in the room but guess what ...? So if you need something from reception there's a communal phone at your disposal next to the elevator. Breakfast: Pathetic! There are two coffee machines, one works.....sort of. The coffee takes forever to fill a glass and then is undrinkable. If you really need a hot drink the hot chocolate is at least drinkable.Or you can buy a cup of real coffee in the lobby. If you need something at breakfast, you need to force your way into the kitchen - there's virtually no waiter or service in the dining room. There's also very little food. One morning they put out one!!! baguette! After multiple protests they brought out another. The lunch and dinner food was atrocious - many in our group went directly to McDonalds even though the dining room meals were paid for.

Paid parking was available and we reserved a spot by calling the hotel directly. Location is excellent to walk or bike into the old town. Tram stops in front of the hotel but it was not running due to track maintenance while we were there. Small grocery close by too. The room was nice and clean. We were on the top floor and a bit concerned about fire escapes. The show was large with a big enty step; suggest a sturdy wall mounted grab rail for inside the shower. Overall, we'd go back!

Reason for poor service. Room service ordered through portal, confirmation received through portal and email waited for over half an hour after requested time messaged restaurant twice no response. Then messaged front desk inly then to receive a call to say no room service that night an to come down to the bar if I want to. We had travelled for many hours and just wanted to relax in our room. So we did not bother with any refreshments. I think you may need to look this, it’s not good to let guests order and get confirmation for a service you are not providing that day. Maybe look at your processes.

I pay close attention to hotel ratings and we decided on this hotel for it’s raining north of 9.0. We were not disappointed . First off the staff at the front desk were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Our room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. There’s a outside patio in the center court to enjoy a drink and the hotel location is about as good as it gets. We were very happy to spend three nights here. It truly deserves the 9 points plus.

A lot of other coffee shops, restaurants, shops, etc just nearby. The staff was friendly, provided all the information we needed for a great stay. Would definitely recommend this hotel to visit Strasbourg, as it's perfectly located and has everything that you'll need to explore the old town.

This hotel location was very clean calming area but 11 minutes far from the centre by train,the staff were friendly and helpful,the room was clean with good breakfast in the morning,but the only problem I really didn't like it was the toilet,the toilet was extremely small, very very small that we couldn't take shower at all because the water was getting outside of the toilet to the sleeping room,I wish if we had good toilet to feel comfortable in the place, otherwise it was really good experience as it was first time to Straßburg,we really love the city and we enjoyed alot. It's great! The town has a strong German style. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery from the room. The roof outside the window is where pigeons live. The roof is full of pigeons. The Christmas decorations on the first floor are very beautiful. The service is also very considerate.

Paid parking was available and we reserved a spot by calling the hotel directly. Location is excellent to walk or bike into the old town. Tram stops in front of the hotel but it was not running due to track maintenance while we were there. Small grocery close by too. The room was nice and clean. We were on the top floor and a bit concerned about fire escapes. The show was large with a big enty step; suggest a sturdy wall mounted grab rail for inside the shower. Overall, we'd go back!

I pay close attention to hotel ratings and we decided on this hotel for it’s raining north of 9.0. We were not disappointed . First off the staff at the front desk were extremely friendly, professional and helpful. Our room was very nice and the beds were very comfortable. There’s a outside patio in the center court to enjoy a drink and the hotel location is about as good as it gets. We were very happy to spend three nights here. It truly deserves the 9 points plus.

Excellent staff throughout the hotel. Wonderful breakfast. Great room with a balcony overlooking the river, comfortable bed and spacious room, perfect location 10 minutes from centre of Strasbourg. Quiet and peaceful. Couldn't have been bettered.

We never stayed in an Adagio before but if they are all like this….. We had no water in the room on the first afternoon and were not told when we checked in. The room was very small and had a smelly carpet. One of the lights in the bathroom was broken. My reading light was half loose from the wall. The bathroom was terrible, old and with stains. To park the car you need a code for the gate. When you arrive one person needs to go to reception to get this while the other needs to stay double parked outside on a very busy street. What a horrible system. Checking in took very long because the reception took a phone call the middle of it. Very rude. There is no cleaning, only after a stay if a week or more. There was only one roll of toilet paper. How does this work when you stay longer? The airconditioning only goes as low as 24 degrees and shuts off when you open a door or window. It does not go on automatically, you need to turn it on yourself. This was nowhere described in the room. The location is not too great either. 15 minutes walk to petit France and 30 minutes to the cathedral.

Very friendly receptionist on arrival who spoke very good English after I attempted in terrible French! Clean and comfortable room, with a lovely big shower. Breakfast was good with a nice selection. Not the closest to the city centre but only about 15/20 walk so fine for the price. Would definitely stay again if we come back to Strasbourg.
