The hotel isn't too far from Kagoshima-Chuo Station by taxi, and it's right opposite Sakurajima. You can see Sakurajima and the ocean from the room, so the view is fantastic – a really beautiful ocean view room. Plus, the room size is quite large for a Japanese hotel. On the second floor, there's an outdoor swimming pool and a hot spring, and you can also see Sakurajima and the ocean from the pool area, which is great. The Japanese restaurant on the second floor serves delicious Japanese food. Getting a taxi from the hotel to Kagoshima-Chuo Station can be a bit inconvenient, but there's a bus stop near the ferry terminal, where you can catch a bus to the city center and Kagoshima-Chuo Station.
Very new and rooms were clean and spacious. Breakfast was good. There’s a grocery store next to hotel which made it very convenient. Not much around in walking distance. Drive to all other areas is about 10 mins.
The views of the bay and the volcano are absolutely stunning, 'picturesque' doesn't even begin to cover it!
My room type was a garden view twin, so I couldn't see the volcano or the sea. It was all about value for money, at around 600-700 RMB per night. The room was spacious enough (by Japanese standards), and the luggage rack could fit two medium-sized suitcases. The bathroom was also quite large.
If you want to see the volcano, you can head to the courtyard or walk five minutes to the Shiroyama Observatory. You can soak in the large hot spring bath while looking at the volcano, but we only took a quick look around the baths and didn't really try them out, so I can't comment much.
The hotel shuttle bus runs every half hour, which is pretty convenient. The city view bus stop is near the Shiroyama Observatory. Just ask the receptionist at the hotel lobby on the 4th floor how to get to the observatory; we turned left then right and it was a five-minute walk.
By the way, the city view bus route is a bit winding and there aren't many buses. It's better to take the JR to Sengan-en. The JR has a stop right at the entrance of Sengan-en, and the platform itself is the best spot to view Sakurajima.
This hotel has been newly renovated.
It offers a magnificent view of Mount Takachiho.
The air was fresh, the hotel was clean, and the bedding was comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were very satisfying, but the beverage selection was a bit disappointing. The large public bath was spacious, so I enjoyed it leisurely.
But they brought a lot of older boys to the women's bath, which was a bit inconvenient. ^^;; Overall, I was satisfied!
Amazing breakfast , very adorable onsen , excellent location and friendly staff makes this place highly recommended to a tourist looking for comfortable and reasonable price .
I spent three nights and I wish I could spend even longer time there due the comfort and convenience of the property .
Free facial masks is an extra ❤️
It is rare that there are fresh flowers in the guest room. It is a large communal bath in the hotel, but the men seem to have been renovated and are very clean. However, it ends at 23 o'clock at night, so I want you to open a little later. I had a sashimi set meal at the restaurant in the building for dinner. The volume and taste were good, but it was a pity that the essential sashimi was small. Breakfast, but fried satsuma and carpaccio are excellent. Carpaccio was a big sashimi than dinner. I think the breakfast here is of high grade.
the perfect remote place for onsen and sand bath relaxing treatment, fantastic rooms in Japanese style with all facility, great service twice daily, onsen bath with sea-side view at 5th floor of the hotel... restaurants and shops inside the hotel, bicycle available, restaurants and supermarkets in the near of the hotel, friendly hotel staff - just incedible nice and helpful !
This time, I used it because it is close to the Naze Port ferry terminal. Even a woman's legs will arrive in 3 minutes. The building felt quite old, but it is convenient because there are restaurants and large communal baths. Also, there is a big pine tree right next door, so most things are available.
The hotel staff are warm and welcoming, the breakfast and dinner they serve are impressive and I personally think it is better than the hotel. The hotel has only five rooms, Shaodong has stayed in the United States, can speak fluent English, and the proprietress can also speak simple English. Everyone gossips homely, making people feel at home.

GGood morning bunny! The environment is comfortable, the kiri-kiri bath and the large public bath are great.
Shochu and local tea are provided.
There are also hourly and midnight snacks.
The tomato ramen is delicious.
The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to Kirishima Jingu Station.
The Dormy Inn Group will not disappoint.
Recommend staying at Kirishima Onsen for one night.
It is great.

GGuest UserFirst, we loved the onsen and its services, where we soaked in three pools of different temperatures, sweated in a sauna, then alternately cooled ourselves in cold baths.
Second, room services were excellent despite its furnishings seemed to be run down a bit.
Third, its location is central to travel most places of interest, which spreads out in Kagoshima Prefecture.

CCN777A traditional Japanese-style house. The indoor facilities are very old and have traces of history. The room is clean and tidy. The sand bath and hot spring are very good and comfortable. We booked a stay and two meals. The dinner was good, including beer, red wine, white wine and shochu. There is all you can drink, but the breakfast is relatively simple and not very tasty. The overall feeling is still very good, I would like to come again if I have the chance.

TTammy MakThis Japanese-style hotel is more convenient to drive. It takes about four or five minutes to drive to the nearest restaurant and store area. There is a road outside the garden/parking lot outside the hotel door and there is no place to walk. It takes about10-15 minutes to drive to the Wudao Shen Palace.
The decoration of the hotel is very new, the Japanese-style room is large, clean and comfortable, the equipment is complete, and the service is sincere and kind. Four independent individual use of the style, two outdoor, two open air, very Japanese style, comfortable to use. Breakfast is eaten separately in the restaurant, and the food is rich and delicious.
Overall, enjoy a high-level hot spring trip.
PS. Red leaves on the mountain are super , praise!

GGuest User1) Paddler services are not widely used in Japan, and I thought that there are few such wonderful paddler services. I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to Mr. Paddler A, who was indebted to me personally and provided a wonderful service to other customers as well.
2) Regarding meals, the comfortable food menu was sophisticated, and although it was a simple menu such as salads and hamburgers, it was made with great care and was delicious! (There are some other menus that I'm interested in, and I'm looking forward to the next time.) On the other hand, I wondered if there was another menu for creative dishes and breads. (I think there are personal tastes ...)
3) Regarding drinks, there were many local products such as original drinks, and I enjoyed it very much. On the other hand, regarding the serve of wine etc., although it is a luxury hotel restaurant and from 2000 yen / glass, there is no tasting, detailed explanation, follow-up, etc., so I was reluctant.
4) The atmosphere of the room, facilities and amenities (local brands and environmentally friendly products) are also excellent. In addition, two types of soaps were installed, and I was able to choose the scent that suits my mood. However, although the shaver is a high-class item, it is very heavy and not easy to use, so I think it would be more convenient if it was a little lighter and cheaper to use.
thank you for helping me!
