The hotel is located in a very good and convenient area, which makes it easy to access nearby shops and amenities. However, there are several areas that need improvement. Basic toiletries such as soap were not refilled prior to check-in and had to be requested. An ironing board was not available in the room and also required a request. The toilet hanging fixtures were not properly maintained and need repair. Additionally, parts of the room appear run-down and would benefit from refurbishment and general maintenance. Overall, the location is a strong point, but improvements in room maintenance, housekeeping preparation, and facilities would greatly enhance the guest experience.

I had a pleasant experience at this hotel. The location was close to KLIA Terminal 1 and there was complimentary buggy service available at level 2 next to the escalator taking guests to/from the hotel across the connected sky bridge (approximately 2-minute ride). The room was clean and the shower water pressure was strong. The customer service was great. The only drawback was the buffet breakfast which was lack of flavour.

🌟 A Relaxing Escape with Top-Notch Hospitality I recently stayed at this wonderful hotel and had an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hospitality stood out immediately—every staff member I met was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, which made the entire stay feel effortless and enjoyable. One of the biggest highlights was the beautiful view. Whether during sunrise or sunset, the scenery from the hotel was simply breathtaking. Overlooking lush greenery, a spacious pool area, and the city skyline in the distance, it offered a calming atmosphere perfect for unwinding. The facilities were another strong point. The swimming pool was stunning—surrounded by tall trees and comfortable seating, it felt like a peaceful retreat both in the day and at dusk. The gym was well-equipped and clean, making workouts convenient during the stay. I also appreciated having access to the sauna, which was a great way to relax after exploring the city. Dining by the pool was such a treat too. Enjoying a delicious burger under the warm sun with the pool just steps away made for a perfect afternoon. Overall, this hotel provided a delightful blend of comfort, excellent service, and great amenities. I left feeling refreshed and satisfied, and I would gladly return for another stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with great hospitality and facilities.

Sunway Resort Hotel is absolutely amazing! It's like a giant playground. The lobby is incredibly grand and opulent, and the staff are all super warm and friendly. There are phone charging sockets everywhere in the lobby, but you'll need an adapter. The entire resort is beautiful, and there's a huge shopping mall with tons of restaurants just past the restaurant on the right side of the front desk, making dining incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this hotel; check-in here is full of pleasant surprises!

I brought my mum to stay at Monkey Canopy Resort for a short getaway. Unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing. The weather was extremely hot, and the room felt like a sauna. The air-conditioning took a very long time to cool down, which made it uncomfortable to rest, especially for elderly guests. On top of that, the blanket provided in the room was dirty, which is unacceptable for a resort stay as cleanliness should be a basic standard. We had dinner at Sticks & Baron restaurant, and I’d like to compliment the staff there. The staff was friendly and thoughtful — she asked whether we were in-house guests, and after I confirmed, we were given an additional discount. That was good service. However, the experience at the go-kart counter at night (around 9pm) was very disappointing. The cashier did not ask whether we were in-house guests and directly charged us RM80 per person. Only after payment, she told us that the charge could not be voided. This resulted in us missing out on the in-house guest discount. This kind of mistake should not be borne by the customer. The staff should always check guest status before charging. This left us with a bad impression and affected our overall experience at the resort. Hope the management can improve on room cooling efficiency and staff training on proper procedures.

This is my first time staying at the One World Hotel, which is recommended by my friend. It’s a very grand and clean 5-Stars hotel, which is located away from the usual busy Bukit Bintang. The hotel is directly link to the 1-Utama shopping mall, which is very convenient if you need to buy or eat anything. Upon arrival, there is bellboy helped to load the luggage and placed aside till check-in. The service is fast and efficient. The check-in is hassle free. However, it is not for the check-out, as you need to join together in the same queue as those who check-in. There is no quick and fast self check-out. The room comes with two Queen beds, which is good and ideal for a family stay. It is clean and tidy. It also comes with some complimentary drinks, snacks and also bathtub which my kids love to bath in. For the breakfast, it is just located directly near the lift at a lower floor after the lobby. The spread is amazing, the quality of the food is great and it tastes really nice and delicious. One of the highlight is the prata, which is freshly made on the spot and it is crispy and tasty. Next is the pastry, especially the Pain au chocolat, the chocolate is so rich and creamy. Likewise for the buttery croissant. They do sell them in their bakery too. It is definitely a breakfast not to be missed! They have amazing swimming pools which has the normal usual one and another is for the kids to play in. The overall experience is great and we have a wonderful time staying in One World Hotel. We will definitely come back again next time. Thank you One World!

Had a wonderful stay at Espira Kinrara! The breakfast was really good with a nice variety of food and friendly service. We were lucky to get a room right in front of the kids’ pool, which was perfect for our family — the kids had a great time! The environment was clean, peaceful, and family-friendly. Overall, a very pleasant experience and we’d definitely love to come back again!

It's decent. It's close to my company, and traffic isn't too bad. Rooms get booked up quickly, so you need to reserve in advance. I'd consider staying here again next time. The twin room was a good value. I recommend it. I stayed for two nights.

GGuest UserRoom was immaculate with good view of the city. Great pillows. I received a chocolate cake with a birthday wish as my birthday falls in January. That was touching! The only hiccup was the housekeeping which didn’t top up the tea bags. I called at 8am, they acknowledged but no one came until it’s time for me to check out at 1pm. Overall, I had a good stay.

GGuest UserHotel Amenities: There's a gym in the middle, a Western restaurant on the first floor (for breakfast and buffet), a Chinese restaurant on the second floor, and a pool (none of them are very big). The pool closes at 7 PM, even before the sun sets. You can go to the Western restaurant area to continue waiting for the sunset. Room Amenities: The room size is fine, with a balcony facing the sea. We stayed in 012 which had an unobstructed view, good privacy, and a decent view. The room has a sofa bed. Our twin room could be combined to make a 2-meter bed, which is larger than a standard 1.8-meter king bed (good for families with children). Some rooms originally had a wooden second floor. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to consider staying upstairs, but getting luggage up the stairs would be difficult. I saw some people mention there was no bottled water in the room. Actually, there's a drinking water tap next to the sink faucet. We're not used to drinking tap water, so we brought our own portable kettle, which solved the drinking water issue. Facility Complaints: The bathroom had a strong, unpleasant smell that wouldn't dissipate and even backed up – it was really stinky. Also, the shower water drained very slowly, causing the entire bathroom to flood. We woke up one morning to a power outage in the room, which was quite unusual, but they sent someone to fix it by the time we were having breakfast. Service: Mainly the shuttle service. On the first afternoon at the restaurant, there were plenty of shuttles, coming every few minutes. But on the second day, during check-out, we waited for 20 minutes. Calling for a shuttle is difficult; it's best to have someone wait at the door and flag down any passing vehicle. You might have to walk back and forth a few times to get one. The resort does have multi-seater vehicles, but during check-out, only small cars were available – the kind that gets full with just one family and their luggage. I find the hotel's arrangement hard to understand. We weren't far from the lobby, but it started raining, and there were no umbrellas in the room, otherwise I would have just walked. Environment: The seawater really wasn't pretty; it was yellowish-green, regardless of the weather. We wanted to take our child to the beach, but they refused to go. The second day, it rained all day, so there were no activities or entertainment. We just stared at the sea and played cards on the balcony (the balcony and table had gaps, and a card accidentally fell into the sea!😭). Dining: There are no other options nearby, and Grab doesn't offer food delivery. During Chinese New Year, the Chinese restaurant only had special CNY set menus, which were very large portions, like a five-person 'poon choi' (basin dish) for an eight-person table – way too much food. We opted for the buffet instead. It was 88 for adults and 40 for children. The kids ended up only eating rice with tofu and stewed meat, bread, and corn soup. Everything else was spicy, even the meat sauce pasta... and this was on Chinese New Year's Eve. Taste is subjective, but honestly, the local curries and laksa were delicious, though Chinese palates might not appreciate them as much. Apart from its location over the water, being a stilt hotel, overall, it's about a 3.5-star hotel by Chinese standards. I originally chose this hotel thinking it would be a shame to visit Malaysia and only do a city walk in Kuala Lumpur without seeing the sea. I wanted to find somewhere close, but it wasn't actually close at all – a 1.5-hour taxi ride, costing 170 on Grab. It's really not worth it... let go of that obsession. Unless you don't mind bad weather, just want a quiet place to zone out, and have no particular demands for food.

AAnonymous UserI had a really pleasant stay at Mövenpick Hotel & Convention Centre KLIA. The hotel is beautiful, modern, and well maintained, giving a premium and comfortable feel from the moment we arrived. We initially booked a Twin Room, but requested an upgrade with extra payment, and were upgraded to a Deluxe King Bed room. The room was spacious, elegant, and very comfortable. The bathroom design was excellent—there is both a bathtub and a separate shower, and the bathroom doors are accessible from two directions, which made it very convenient. As we were travelling with a baby, we requested a baby cot, and the hotel provided it. We also needed a place to store ice bricks since the room fridge did not have a freezer, and the staff assisted us with that request. Breakfast starts at 6:30am, but unfortunately we were unable to have it even though it was paid for, as we had to rush for an early morning flight. The hotel provides an airport shuttle service to KLIA. Although we had made a booking, my name was somehow misplaced. Thankfully, the shuttle van driver was very helpful and still assisted us and sent us to the airport even though my name was not on the list. However, there was one major downside. The shower water heater had an issue, where the water became extremely hot even after adjusting, making it difficult to bathe my baby in the early morning. While we could have reported it, it was around 4am, and changing rooms at that hour would have been very difficult due to the amount of luggage we had and our early airport transfer at 6am. Unfortunately, this really spoiled part of the experience. Overall, the hotel is beautiful and comfortable, with helpful staff and good facilities, but the shower heater issue needs attention, especially for families travelling with young children.
