Second time coming to Lumbini, second time staying here. very good! The people at the hotel are very nice. The most important thing is that the location is very close to the Maya Devi Temple and the station.

In such a backcountry place and away from the Buddha Garden, there is such a luxurious hotel, there is a casino at the gate, and hehe should be a place to squander the Indian local tyrants. Large children can be accommodated in an extra bed and must have an extra bed. The hotel itself is very good and it feels weird.

It's pretty good in Lumbini. To be honest, I live very comfortably. It has nothing to do with not being scored 5 points. It is recommended. The service score was low because a male staff member at the front desk of the hotel, about 30 years old, helped us find a local ”Tutu” car. He started to say 100 rupees, and it cost 1,000 to return to the hotel after using the car. Don't we understand the difference between 100 and 1000? It's ridiculous. Rs 900 is just 50+ RMB. Angrily complained to Ctrip, Ctrip handled it very well, with 100 points. Lament the greatness of the motherland! No matter Nepal or Bhutan, there are good people and people who are not bad people. I once again lament the greatness of the motherland.

It is within walking distance from the Buddhist Park. It is actually at Gate 2 of the park. The location is very good. The hotel is well planned, the environment is elegant, the red brick building is fully integrated into the Buddhist park, and the service staff are warm and friendly. The hotel has a history of more than 30 years. The rooms are designed by the Japanese, and the layout is full of Japanese style. Although the maintenance is good, the facilities are too old after all. The cooling capacity of the air conditioner is limited. I don’t know if it’s because of the low season. On the first day we arrived at the store, there were no other guests in the huge hotel. There were less than 10 staff members serving the guests in one of our rooms. On the second day, the other room seemed to be occupied. The hotel does not provide hot water for bathing, but because of the hot weather, the problem is not too big. There are no other commercial facilities around. If you don't want to call a car, you can only have meals at the hotel, and the price is normal.

However, upon checking out, I realized I had carelessly left behind a very important item in the room. The day after our departure, I contacted the hotel to inquire about my belongings. They assured me they had found them and would promptly send them back to me. Initially relieved, I awaited their response eagerly. However, as days passed, I received no updates despite my repeated requests for them to send my belongings via courier, with me covering the costs. Unfortunately, the hotel failed to respond to my requests, leaving me to make weekly follow-up calls. After more than three months of waiting, I was informed that my belongings had been lost. The excuses provided, such as changes in management or staff not being on duty, seemed unprofessional and lacked accountability. Losing items of great religious significance has been distressing, and the lack of genuine concern from the hotel only exacerbated the situation. Additionally, the absence of any communication from the new manager further highlighted the hotel's disregard for customer care. As someone involved in the travel industry, I had considered recommending Lumbini Palace Resort to my clients. However, based on my experience, I have decided against it. It's clear that the resort's staff need better training and a deeper understanding of their responsibilities in the hospitality industry. This incident serves as a reminder that exemplary customer service is essential for sustaining success in this field...

Stayed at Mourya while visiting Nepal. Location was very good, just 10 minutes from the border, and 40 mins drive to Lumbini. We stayed there for 2 nights andf had a deal with free breakfast. One day we were offered the buffet breakfast, which was very good, specially the local Fafar roti ( Buckwheat pancakes), the 2nd day since there were very few guests, we were asked to order breakfast items from the Menu card. The food was very good, the service was prompt and efficient. Rooms were clean and facility were good.

Service and food was very excellent. There staff was very helpful and so kind . My friends also said hotel was very wonderful and perfect to stay in there.
