It can be hit and miss staying places at the lower cost end of the spectrum but Wairakei was amazing. It was clean and really nice, everything worked and the rooms were great. The kids loved the pool and the location to town was awesome. Really ideal for anyone with kids

The scenery is unique! The eldest brother is also very enthusiastic ~ everything is great! Suitable for bringing children to play ~ swimming pool, it will be very comfortable in summer ~ the surrounding is quiet. If you go, it is recommended to bring more food up the mountain ~ the experience is better

I booked a Cabin with Kitchen, It did not mention, the Shower and toilet are shared. When I take the option in Trip.com, The rest of Cabin did mention shared Bathroom and Toilet, Mine did not mention it was shared. The staff told me to upgrade it to other Carbin with Own bathroom. I said, it should not be a upgrade, it should included. I said : May I talk to the manager? She said, results will be the same. If it is a shared Bathroom, it should state in decription. Other than this, everything is fine and good.

The location is excellent. I stayed in this hotel before the epidemic. I stayed in a three-bedroom apartment on the first floor that time. It was very good. This time we only booked a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor. The facilities and equipment are a bit old, but the bedding and towels are all new and high-quality. There are pots, bowls, induction cookers, etc., hot water in the spa bath and other facilities are very convenient. Downstairs There are washing machines and dryers available, please note that they are available from 8am to 8pm. There is also a BBQ for guests to use, and it is very convenient to check in and out. The cleaning staff are very friendly, but the front desk staff are not too enthusiastic. The overall experience is not bad. I will stay here again next time I come to Taupo. Ctrip has an advantage in price👍

Great hotel stay with complete amenities for self cook dinner, located by the lake front with breathtaking sunset set view! And we have new pets for the day, cutie cat welcome us to Accent! Overall is great except for the insulation around the house not strong enough as it can be quite cold during night …. Highly recommended for families and groups of friends enjoy the stay here.

The hotel is clean and tidy, well-regulated, the location is very good, just by the Taobo Lake, parking is convenient. The front desk seems to be a Taiwanese uncle who is very friendly and can communicate in Chinese.

The location is great, close to the lake, the facilities are complete, the staff are friendly, it was a perfect experience and I would recommend it to my friends.

We stayed at the Acapulco Motor Inn while we were in Taupo for a wedding. The staff were friendly and helpful with great local knowledge. We were pleasantly surprised with our room, decadent toiletries, a huge spa bath, lovely robes and slippers and a selection of tea, coffee and hot chocolate made our stay thoroughly enjoyable. Breakfast is also available at an extra price and a large farmer's market is held across the road each Sunday morning. We are already planning our next stay at the Acapulco Motor Inn, this time we'll be bringing our children too.
