Stayed three nights, it’s a nice hotel with potential. Service varied between the workers but the majority of the workers were pleasant. Used the pool/bar area on our first night there but didn’t return there again as it wasn’t very organised with not enough towels for people swimming. Ended up having to go back to the room dripping wet which seemed fine for the staff at the pool and bar but introduced some hazards with wet slippery tiles in the hallways and hotel lifts. I think the hotel is a little under resourced with the essential items to have a completely comfortable experience. The location though is second to none with being next door to a large Robinsons shopping centre, Starbucks, and other great eating establishments.

Service was terrible, felt like people were avoiding me, restaurant was decent with decent food but you have to signal to get the menu, make the order. I waited solid 50minutes to get my food and a corona (drink came after food). Appetizer and main course came at the same time. Facilites were nice, pool was good with a decent sofa or seating to relax. Unfortunately while I stayed there there was a lot of rain and wind (stayed for 4 nights) and electricity went out many times everyday, which turned off the wifi and the ac, at night lights were flickering because of the electricity issues. Sandbar was also closed everyday during my stay and the beach was not that great. I payed way too much for what I received and I will not recommend this place for anyone.

The hotel staff were very nice and accommodating. There are 2 swimming pools available which is great. Restaurant’s food is amazing too! However, it seemed like the hotel was understaffed. We arrived around 11:30am, but since the check-in is strictly at 2pm, we went for lunch at the restaurant first. However, when we came back at 2pm, they made us wait for another 30mins because there was only 1 receptionist and it took her a long time to process the family ahead of us. Housekeeping also came late even if we put up the “makeup room” sign before we left for our tour. When we came back at 4pm, our room was still untouched, and the housekeeping only arrived at 5:30pm. Soundproofing was also not as good. We could hear our neighbor upstairs moving the furniture at 4am.

Very nice stay. Service was excellent. The room was clean and the amenities were complete. Breakfast could be improved though. There were not much choices and the daily spread had little variety if you stay miltiple nights.

This hotel was initially a nightmare. I booked 2 rooms through Trip for adults and the kids. Upon arrival, the hotel advised that one of the rooms had been cancelled and we only had one room. All my bookings were still showing in the Trip app so neither myself or Trip had cancelled anything. I contacted Trip and they were excellent and worked very hard, but unsuccessfully to get our room back... It was absolutely peak season and the room had been given to someone else. We were able to book a room Westown 2 nights later so the kids ended up staying at the hotel and us adults, luckily were able to find another hotel for 2 nights and then moved back to Westown hotel. When this issue occurred, I felt we were treated incredibly poorly by the hotel. They made it clear... If you book through a third party booking agency, the issue is with you..not our problem... Considering most of their bookings are probably through third parties, this attitude is poor. Once we moved back into the hotel for the remaining 3 days, the hotel facilities were good. Swimming pools were good. There was a cafe, couple of restaurants, and small gym. Location was 10 mins on a tricycle into the centre of town and there were always tricycles available. A shuttle was available to and from the airport. Negatives were as follows: - Hotel saying we cancelled one of our rooms even though we hadn't. Kids had to stay by themselves in the hotel. - Hotel didn't care less about us because we made the booking through a 3rd party. - Disappointing that probably 50% of the menu foods were not available in the Filipino restaurant while we were there...usual excuse of supplier issues was always given.

The hotel room is very spacious . The room is perfect .i enjoyed staying at the hotel, the staff and front desk is very accommodating. They are very attentive on what i need. The hotel is close to SM ,public market and baywalk. Which is really good. I wish they have pool so they can maximize the view I also wish the they have more equipment at the gym. Overall, this place is great spot. For those who like to explore the city.

Went here for a quick getaway with colleagues. We really enjoyed our stay here. So relaxing the view is great and the place is clean and quiet away from the busy city. Only con is that public transportation is not available. You can ask for the hotel reception to contact a van though or better yet avail their free shuttle. Highly recommended!

Great service . They are always friendly and helpful. Food is best I had in years if I compare another hotels . And bug bonus is that the kit hen also make food on demand . So if not on menu they do on request and it is worth to pay some extra money. Only downside is that trip.xom do not mention that beside the 30 peso terminal fee . And then on tge another side you need to pay 120 peso tourist tax . And as last 300 peso each person to go to the hotel. But for sure I will go back there

From the moment we began our journey with the hotel’s private transfer service, everything was exceptional. The staff’s friendliness is truly top-notch—they made us feel welcome and cared for every step of the way. Their private port is a total game-changer: no long lines, no hassle, and a smooth, stress-free process from pick-up to drop-off. The team at the port was incredibly warm and accommodating, and the fresh welcome drinks were a delightful treat you must try! The boat ride itself was seamless, and having priority access meant we bypassed travel taxes and lines entirely—highly recommend this service! Upon arrival at the hotel, we were greeted with big smiles and warm hearts. The welcome surprise waiting in our room was such a thoughtful touch—it made us feel instantly special. As for the amenities, it’s clear they’re working on upgrades, and we’re excited to see what’s to come. We had a blast playing table tennis, though the balls could use a refresh. One small wish—we’d love for the pool hours to extend a little later! Now, a special shoutout to the dream team: Mund, Gie, Gino, Noel and Sandy—our private tour guides who went above and beyond in every way. They made us feel like royalty! Always attentive, always caring, and full of heart. I even had a minor accident and bruised my leg, and their first-aid response was immediate and professional. Without a doubt, we highly recommend booking a private tour with them. It’s not just a tour—it’s a memorable experience led by the kindest, most amazing people. Can’t wait to return! P.s their private pier are the best for sunset

As a solo traveller I was taken of very well! They are quite attentive and the rooms were beautiful. They also do a free shuttle to Lio beach and to town. They can also arrange transfers to other places for a cheap price, so I wouldn’t worry about not being in the town centre. I would highly recommend ❤️

SSandeep KolambeReview for Astoria Resort Palawan: Our stay at Astoria Resort Palawan was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we landed, the entire experience was smooth, relaxing, and memorable. Here’s a detailed breakdown of why we loved our time at this wonderful resort: 1. Smooth Airport Pickup: We were greeted right at the airport with a seamless transfer to the resort. The pick-up was quick, efficient, and stress-free, making the start of our vacation that much easier. 2. Warm Welcome: Upon arriving at the resort, the staff greeted us with such warmth and hospitality. The welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home, and the smiles from the team made a lasting impression. 3. Early Check-in: Since we were traveling with a 1-year-old, we were really grateful when the resort allowed us to check in early, around 9 am. It was such a thoughtful gesture, as it gave us time to settle in and rest after the flight. 4. Amazing Breakfast & Accommodating Staff: The breakfast spread was a highlight of every morning. The food was not only delicious, but the staff was incredibly accommodating to our dietary preferences. We are vegetarian, and they made sure to provide a variety of options that catered to our needs—thank you so much for that! 5. Outstanding Service by Folyca: A special shoutout to Folyca, the receptionist, who went above and beyond to help us with any questions and needs we had during our stay. Her professionalism and helpful attitude made a huge difference in our experience. 6. Spacious & Beautiful Room: Our room was perfect! It was spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The cleanliness and attention to detail were top-notch, and it truly felt like a luxury escape. 7. Incredible Amenities: The resort offers so many fantastic amenities! We had the choice of three swimming pools, including a stunning infinity pool that overlooks the gorgeous views. The water park was a big hit with our son, who had an absolute blast. There’s also a massage center, which was wonderfully relaxing, and a lovely canopy area for tour inquiries and bookings. Whether you’re into golf, relaxing by the beach, or enjoying a delicious dinner by the water, there’s something for everyone here. 8. Dinner with Fire Dance: Dining at the resort’s beachfront restaurant was a magical experience. Not only did we enjoy fantastic meals, but we were also treated to a mesmerizing fire dance performance as we dined. It added such a special touch to the evening. 9. Fantastic Staff: Throughout our stay, the staff went out of their way to make our experience enjoyable. Kent, Arvin, and Susan, especially, were always so humble, kind, and smiling, even when we had late-night requests for dinner or drinks. Their hospitality truly made us feel like family. 10. Overall Experience: We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation. The resort’s incredible service, beautiful facilities, and welcoming staff made this one of the best trips we’ve ever had. We left with full hearts and unforgettable memories, and it’s all thanks to Astoria Resort Palawan. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a serene and luxury escape in Palawan! GGuest UserMantiloc resort is a paradise. If you are looking for a relaxing time in a unique spot this place is for you. The staff are so kind and helpful, they make it an amazing stay. The half day boat trip is also well worth it and one of the best parts of our trip. The menu could do with being expanded, with more vegetarian and vegan options. Also a barista coffee option would make it perfect., though a nespresso machine was a available upon request

AanjmonsantoWe recently stayed at this resort hotel and overall had a pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the amenities—from the pool to the common areas—were impressive and well-maintained. However, we were quite disappointed to return to our room after housekeeping had been in, only to find the door left open. This raised serious concerns about security and left us feeling uneasy. Thankfully, nothing was missing, but it’s something management should seriously look into. Also, while the breakfast buffet was decent, the variety was limited. For a resort of this caliber, we expected more options to choose from. In summary, it’s a nice place with great staff and facilities, but there’s definitely room for improvement when it comes to security and food offerings.

KKaliannaThe resort was on an isolated island. Took 20-min car ride from the airport and 45-min boat ride from the port to the island. Our room was supposed to be ocean view, just right behind the sunrise villas. Unfortunately, the trees have grown high & hardly can we see the ocean. So best to go to the beach and enjoy the sceneries there. Not worth paying extra, unless it's sunset villa. Breakfast was acceptable, but in-room dining service need improvement. Especially, the cleaning up part. The swimming pool is under maintenance and I thought seafood & sashimi would be good, but nope, which is a bit extra disappointing. However, the general experience was good since the staffs are very nice and polite. We received different types of local snacks daily and turned out the kitchen made Filipinos food better than international ones. For morning hiking to Eagle Point, it's not really worth it, unless you have a drone to have 360-degree view. Intended to rate 3.8/5, but I got to see the sea turtle so 4/5 ~

JJULIE FRANCESBeautiful beach location (Mariemegmeg) about 10 minutes TukTuk drive plus 10 minutes walk through ‘shopping/resort’ centre and then along the beach from El Nido port. (20-30 mins bus TukTuk from El Nido airport). Good value compared to other either very elegant accommodation or incredibly uncomfortable rustic huts or tree houses along this and neighbouring beaches. Our room and facilities were basic but there was lots of hot water in the shower, the air con worked well and the breakfast (extra cost) and meals were fine and the two-for-one cocktails at happy hour (pretty much all day) cocktails were very worthwhile. The restaurant area has fabulous views and you can sit there all day. The sea is warm, though cloudy with sand, and the trick to avoid jellyfish is not to swim when it’s been raining.
