The hotel is quite nice, very close to the Marriott. It's on the side of the road, so it's a little noisy, probably because the soundproofing isn't great. Otherwise, overall the hotel is okay.
The hotel room was clean and comfortable, and the environment was elegant! The hotel breakfast was rich and varied, and the front desk staff had a great attitude. It's very close to Kingdom Centre, just a 10-minute walk. There's also a Chinese restaurant, Jin Xiu Dong Fang (錦繡東方), right across from Kingdom Centre, offering authentic Chinese cuisine.
The hotel is a bit far from the airport and station, but that’s really the only downside.
The staff, especially at the front desk, are super nice and helpful. The room was also clean and comfortable.
I've been using Trip.com for years, and this is the first time I've ever left such a negative review. I checked in late at night, only to find the door lock was ridiculously broken, almost falling off. When I went downstairs and immediately asked for a room change, the front desk acted as if they hadn't heard me, saying they'd send someone to fix it right away and told me to go back upstairs. Even though they managed to drill the nail back in, it felt like it would fall off again with just a push from the outside. I contacted Trip.com, and I overheard the front desk telling their customer service on the phone, 'It's OK. OK, just the safety lock.' Later, they told me it was fixed and to go back up. Throughout the entire negotiation process that evening, there wasn't a single apology. Is this what the Mercure brand has come to now?
With the help of Trip.com customer service (Yanzi), I finally got a room change, utterly exhausted. I don't understand why they wouldn't switch rooms when there were clearly other rooms of the same type available. After a ten-hour flight, and no rest – who could give a good review? By the way, Yanzi was truly efficient and excellent at communication, a stark contrast to the speechless hotel staff.
P.S. The location is excellent. Subway and supermarket are all conveniently available. Breakfast is around 100+ riyals; it's filling and even has congee, but it's not worth purchasing separately.
Close proximity to malls and some coffee shops. Area isnt very crowded unlike many parts of riyadh but close to many good places which i find is a plus.
Reception was fluent in English, room is clean and we got an upgrade which is very much appreciated as our previous available assigned room was a non smoking room but located in a smoking floor.
The service is getting bad year after year
Internet is very bad
Rooms are clean and spacious
But the services are not worth the value paid
Very expensive
Overall it was wonderful meeting people like Moataz Mersal - he was always very quick in welcoming my wife n I to the Nakheel restaurant. Great food great service - thumbs up! Then there was Raghad (guest services) who gave timely and sound advice to my wife regarding safety n metro directions to National Museum etc. Need to mention Montaser n Ahmed as well! Such attentive staff at the bar & gym! 👍
On the other hand, the housekeeping team needs re-training. Everyday (for four days three nights) they forgot to replenish items in the room! We had to keep calling them! 👎

The hotel is very close to the city center. Although the decoration is very old, it is very cost-effective. The room we stayed in did not have a bathtub, but I personally felt it was very comfortable. The transportation nearby is very convenient and it is close to the bus station
The reception was excellent and the staff were wonderful. The Arabic coffee was amazing, but the smell of cooking and frying was everywhere, clinging to clothes, making incense useless. The bathrooms smelled of smoke. The furniture was old, and some things weren't clean, like the holder for the papers. I had to change the towels and bed linen as soon as I checked in because they weren't good, and the towels were dark from wear and tear. However, a great feature is that they provide everything in the bathroom: toothpaste, loofahs, etc. They really, really need to provide earplugs because of the street noise.

Rekomenduję i chętnie wrócę!

TTONGThe hotel is located in the north of Riyadh, the new district, like the development zones of some cities in China. There will be a king's financial district and many high-rise buildings under construction in the urban area. It only takes 15 minutes to get to the airport. But it is a bit far from the old town. The facilities of the hotel are very good, especially with a bathtub. There are no bathtubs in many international brand hotels in this desert city. The hotel's restaurant is also very good, the food and taste are very much like, the buffet has a lot of precious fruits, value for money.
GGuest UserDuring our stay, both Butler Kim and Butler Hani were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. They made everything feel easy and comfortable from the moment we arrived. Kim, in particular, truly stood out. She was cheerful, warm, and very thoughtful, and even took the initiative to help my husband and me take beautiful photos, which meant so much to us. Her genuine care and positive energy made our experience feel personal rather than routine.
GGuest UserJust a bit outside of the centralized Riyadh, but the staff were very friendly. The room was clean. The hotel seemed a little older with two separate buildings which was just slightly confusing on which building you are booked at.
MM247349****Overall, the facilities are old, and there's no Chinese-speaking staff. The key cards often malfunction, and breakfast is very mediocre. There's hardly any service. The first floor is a mixed bag of people, and the location is just average. Not worth a 4-star rating.

GGuest UserI didn't realize that there are two Swiss Flora Hotels nearby so my taxi dropped me off at the wrong one, which was very frustrating for me as I was exhausted and sick. But the kind front desk agent offered me a free ride with the hotel vehicle to the correct one, which was just around the block.
The hotel was very comfortable and the food at the restaurant was delicious (I had their traditional Saudi stew with rice and fresh squeezed orange juice) and the service was impeccable.
The room was very comfortable with all the modern amenities as expected in any city hotel, but the room had a faint cigarette smell which I didn't like. I was too tired to change rooms, do I dealt with it.
I asked for a wake up call at 2:30am which I did receive...thankfully!
