"A truly worthy hotel with breathtaking views from the balcony. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff were responsive. Minor remarks: 1. The air conditioning in the room was old and couldn't lower the temperature below 23.4 degrees, rattling like a revving truck. It was unpleasant at night, but saved by the fact that Sapa generally doesn't have a scorching climate, so it was manageable. 2. The bidet shower was leaking. I'd like to specifically highlight the very decent spa, even though the prices are a bit steep. The hot stone massage by local therapists was excellent; my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The hotel restaurant is also very pleasant. Again, prices are a bit high, but the portions are generous and tasty, and breakfast is very good in terms of both variety and quality. The hotel is located a bit off the main town, and although it's only a 5-minute walk to nice dining spots, there's a slight lack of regular grocery stores nearby. Otherwise, I highly recommend the hotel, especially in the context of Sapa – watching the mountains and sunset from the balcony of this hotel is simply magnificent."

"We stayed at the hotel for 4D3N. The location is quite convenient—about a 14-minute walk to Sun Plaza and close to Sapa Lake. It’s also easily accessible to many local restaurants, which made exploring the area very enjoyable. The room itself was good, and we had a comfortable stay overall. However, it could benefit from a more thorough deep cleaning, as we noticed some dust accumulation in certain corners. Despite this, we had a pleasant experience and would still consider it a good stay overall."

"We really enjoyed our stay at The Myst Sapa, and what made it extra special was the wonderful hospitality from Henry and his team — Kate, Pink, Claudia and Kelvin. They were all so warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we truly felt looked after. The resort is only a few weeks new, so everything feels fresh, clean and neat. We loved how much greenery surrounds the property. We booked two rooms with mountain views on Level 3, and both rooms were spacious, very clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The daily tea set and sunset drinks were such a lovely gesture and made our stay feel even more special. The resort is located up on a slope, but there are two convenient shortcuts down to the main road. It’s about a 5-minute walk to Sun Plaza, where we could easily access the monorail and cable car to Fansipan. Many restaurants, and cafe within walking distance. Getting a Grab to anywhere was also very convenient. What really stood out to us, though, was how the staff went beyond what we expected. Henry helped us contact and arrange our limousine service from Sapa to Hanoi. When I needed emergency dental treatment, he personally assisted with contacting and liaising with the dental clinic. When I sprained my foot, Pink even helped contact a clinic and arrange an X-ray to make sure there was no fracture. These little acts of care meant a lot to us, especially when travelling. And not forgetting the restaurant team — especially Mr Dur, whose humour always brought a smile to our faces! 😄 The warm service from everyone made our meals even more enjoyable. We originally planned to stay for a shorter time, but we enjoyed ourselves so much that we ended up extending our stay by one more night. That probably says it all! Thank you, Henry and the entire team at The Myst Sapa, for making our Sapa stay such a memorable and comfortable one. We will definitely remember the kindness and hospitality we received here. ❤️"

"Location: Good (in the center of the Sapa Center) Easily to locate and accessible Facilities: No Spa, Restaurant need to order 2hrs in advance otherwise the Chef will go home early. Breakfast is serve only from 6am-9am (but the menu flyer indicates 6:30-9:30am so when we go by 9:10 server said no more breakfast, and even Ala Carte service they wont let you order (no one to cook) Room: Nice and Neat but since location is just beside the road, you can hear outside people (especially during world cup event, people cheering till late night watching the event) Not that big but comfortable and clean. The staff willingly added the things we asked for and daily changes our towel. The night and morning breeze are cold so the feeling is good. Staff: All staff are friendly and helpful, reception Martin was very proactive and professional. He help us a lot during our 3days stay in Sapa. Also the girl receptionist in the daytime was very helpful and pleasant. Overall we really enjoyed Sapa, some minor negative things encountered but overall still the best and will definitely back to stay again."

I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Sapa Passion Hotel and Spa. They say they aim to provide “a home away from home,” and they truly delivered on that promise. From the moment we arrived in Sapa early in the morning, the staff kindly allowed us to check in early. After an overnight sleeper train, being able to rest a little before exploring Sapa was such a blessing. As soon as we entered the room, we were amazed by its spaciousness and cleanliness, and the clear view of the lake from our window was simply beautiful. The receptionist also suggested several local activities for us, and although we couldn’t join due to the weather, we truly appreciated her thoughtful recommendations. On our departure day, we took a night bus out of Sapa, and the hotel generously let us use their bathroom to freshen up before our journey. It made our departure so much more comfortable. We felt genuinely cared for during our entire stay, and I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Sapa.

Our group of four found our stay at Azalea Sapa Hotel truly exceptional, from the moment we booked two rooms. The service was impeccable from the outset; staff promptly assisted with our luggage, offered complimentary warm tea, and ensured a seamless check-in process. The rooms themselves were a picture of cleanliness, spaciousness, and pristine comfort. One of our rooms even offered a breathtaking valley view, though inclement weather regrettably limited our enjoyment of it. A personal highlight was the thoughtful provision of toiletries, particularly the ample tissue paper and the diverse selection of towels—body, face, and hand. Both rooms boasted reliable hot and cold showers with consistently strong water pressure. While the breakfast buffet may not have offered the vast variety found in some other establishments, the Pho was an absolute revelation. It became a daily eagerly anticipated delight, largely thanks to the wonderfully warm and kind lady who meticulously prepared it and, as a bonus, cooked excellent eggs. A minor observation, perhaps, is that for extended stays, the breakfast selection might eventually feel somewhat repetitive, yet its overall quality remained consistently high. Unfortunately, the cold and rainy weather prevented us from experiencing many of the hotel's amenities, including the pool. However, I did manage to utilize the gym. Though somewhat minimalist, it offered a comprehensive full-body workout with fairly new and meticulously maintained equipment. A true bonus was the ability to exercise while soaking in the majestic mountain views and a captivating sea of clouds. A slight discrepancy was noted regarding outdated information; a pamphlet mentioned a 4 PM tea break, which, upon inquiry, was no longer offered. They also offer a massage, sauna, and jacuzzi but we were not able to try them. The hotel's location is highly convenient, offering easy access to Sun Plaza and a host of iconic spots and cafes. It's worth noting that the hotel sits on an uphill slope, and the shortcut to Sun Plaza involves a few flights of stairs, which might pose a challenge for some guests. Nonetheless, a nearby mini-mart provides convenient access to essentials, beverages, and snacks. In conclusion, despite enduring a storm and adverse weather throughout much of our Sapa visit, the Azalea Sapa Hotel and its dedicated staff transformed what could have been a dreary experience into one of comfort and genuine satisfaction. We wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

One of the best hotel stays we had in Sapa! We really enjoyed our stay at Bamboo Sapa Hotel. The breakfast spread was really good and there were plenty of choices to enjoy. One of my favourite things was having breakfast outside because the view was absolutely beautiful. It was such a nice way to start the morning, especially with the amazing scenery around Sapa. The view from our room was also superb. We were really lucky with the weather during our stay. It wasn’t cloudy, and we could see the sky starting to clear up, which made the view even more beautiful. Waking up to that kind of scenery was definitely one of the highlights of our stay. Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. Great views, good breakfast and a beautiful atmosphere. The staff were friendly too. Definitely a hotel I would be happy to stay at again when visiting Sapa!

(Visited over Easter 2026) The experience has honesly be extrodinary and I'd say this is one of the most personal service I have experienced in my travels. The hotel itself was beautiful as you would expect from the Garrya and Banyan Tree group. However it's the dedicated team who goes above and beyond that makes the experience so forgettable. Chung and his team has really cultivated a culture where the team not only listens, but actively making your stay as perfect as possible. There are many occasions where my casual comments had turned into their missions to make it happen. Not only is the team professional, but also knowledgeable. I was particular impressed by Trung's (Front of House) of clocking my stay at the Hotel de la Coupole in Sapa (I was carrying their paper bag) and knowing that its the same interior architect, Bill Bensley who also designed my favourite hotel Intercontintal Danang (My work is interiors related). It is moment like this you know you will be well looked after. That is on top of everything else he has done for me during my stay. Meanwhile the F&B Team has also done a great job and making me feel welcome no matter where I am. Notible mentioned are (excuse my spelling from now on) Ivesh, Skritee although young in this hotel, were eager to engage and learn. Meanwhile Minh and Thrugye at Refresh and Charcoal were always ready to help. On my last day I also had the pleasure of meeting the F&B Manager whom as I was in a hurry and her name slipped my mind. It was very thoughtful of her preparing a pastry box for me knowing I have a 6 hr journey back to the airport. Garrya Mu Cang Chai really is the golden standard of hospitality. It is rare to see such dedication especially for a destination hotel which you don't often get a lot of returining customers. I truely wish the team well and I am looking forward to coming back to experience a different season in the region. Comfortable spacious room. Stayed here for two nights. Cleanliness is unfortunately found some stained on the bed sheets but after informing the receptionist. She arranged the house keeping to changed the bedsheets immediately. View is magnificent over looking the mountain but foggy on most days due to weather isn't favorable. First day when we arrived was raining. Breakfast was good. There were plenty of choices buffet style. Dessert is delicious. I like the yoghurt taste so good. Location is good next to CatCat village. Walking distance. The pick up transferred from Lao Cai Station to Catcat Hill Resort is very good. The driver pick us up and send us to the hotel and pick us up on the last day and send us back to the station. Very friendly driver and nice to talk too.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Myst Sapa, and what made it extra special was the wonderful hospitality from Henry and his team — Kate, Pink, Claudia and Kelvin. They were all so warm, friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and we truly felt looked after. The resort is only a few weeks new, so everything feels fresh, clean and neat. We loved how much greenery surrounds the property. We booked two rooms with mountain views on Level 3, and both rooms were spacious, very clean and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The daily tea set and sunset drinks were such a lovely gesture and made our stay feel even more special. The resort is located up on a slope, but there are two convenient shortcuts down to the main road. It’s about a 5-minute walk to Sun Plaza, where we could easily access the monorail and cable car to Fansipan. Many restaurants, and cafe within walking distance. Getting a Grab to anywhere was also very convenient. What really stood out to us, though, was how the staff went beyond what we expected. Henry helped us contact and arrange our limousine service from Sapa to Hanoi. When I needed emergency dental treatment, he personally assisted with contacting and liaising with the dental clinic. When I sprained my foot, Pink even helped contact a clinic and arrange an X-ray to make sure there was no fracture. These little acts of care meant a lot to us, especially when travelling. And not forgetting the restaurant team — especially Mr Dur, whose humour always brought a smile to our faces! 😄 The warm service from everyone made our meals even more enjoyable. We originally planned to stay for a shorter time, but we enjoyed ourselves so much that we ended up extending our stay by one more night. That probably says it all! Thank you, Henry and the entire team at The Myst Sapa, for making our Sapa stay such a memorable and comfortable one. We will definitely remember the kindness and hospitality we received here. ❤️

## Location We rented a scooter from downtown, so the location didn't feel inconveniently far. However, if you don't have a scooter, you'd constantly need to call Grab (ride-hailing), which could be quite a hassle. ## Amenities The swimming pool looked beautiful, but it was too cold to use. I didn't get to use other facilities, and my phone's international roaming didn't pick up a signal. The Wi-Fi connection was also spotty, constantly connecting and disconnecting. This might be an issue for heavy internet users, but as I didn't plan on spending much time online, it wasn't a major inconvenience for me personally. ## Service All the staff members were friendly. However, while they were polite, their friendliness wasn't particularly outstanding; it was more or less the standard level of service you'd expect at any hotel. ## Cleanliness It was exceptionally clean; absolutely spotless, with nothing to complain about. I would definitely consider staying here again if I return to Sapa. While everything else was fairly standard, the view you wake up to in the morning is absolutely breathtaking. It's so incredibly beautiful it's hard to put into words. The view is truly unforgettable, and it alone makes me want to come back again.

Undoubtedly one of the finest hotels we experienced in Sapa and certainly worth considering! What made our stay particularly memorable was the thoughtful gesture from the hotel staff on my birthday. They graciously surprised us with a birthday cake and a heartfelt card, transforming an already wonderful stay into an exceptionally meaningful celebration. The staff were consistently warm, courteous, and accommodating, making us feel genuinely welcomed throughout our stay. The breakfast buffet was equally impressive, offering an extensive and delectable selection that catered to a variety of preferences. There was certainly no shortage of choices! The location is another remarkable advantage. Situated within close proximity to Sun Plaza, as well as numerous shops, cafés, and restaurants, the hotel is highly recommended for travellers who appreciate the convenience and vibrancy of Sapa’s town centre while remaining surrounded by its spectacular mountainous scenery. And for those specifically searching for a hotel with a picturesque view of the iconic Sapa mountain train, this is definitely one to consider.
