Went for a couple trip to Langkawi. Deliberately chose Vila Sri Kampung as it was in the middle of the Jungle full of nature. My review will be slightly biased as I am already used to the tropical “happenings” like ants etc. as I am from Singapore. The stay was amazing as I could literally see the wild dusky leaf monkeys and hornbills right in-front of me across the glass panel. Pros: 1. Have nature right in-front of your face. 2. Experience nature like literally 3. Aircon works 4. Surprisingly no mosquitoes 5. Hot shower works fully functional 6. TV works with Netflix preloaded 7. Breakfast offered is super awesome. Had the best Roti Cenai (or roti prata in sg term). The Malay style breakfast was top notch. Mango is super sweet and juicy as if you hydrated a pack of 7D mangoes. Cons: 1. In the middle of nowhere. Definitely rent a car and use google map to guide yourself through the jungle. 2. The owner is pretty much uncontactable on this platform. Please please use watsapp to contact her. Also best to have a Malaysian friend/partner that speaks Malay with Malaysian number so that he/she can contact the owner swiftly so that you can enter the villa upon arrival. 3. Guard dogs if you’re scared of dogs 4. Ants if you’re not used to the tropical norms. To be honest, just follow basic camping ethics: after eating don’t leave wrappers lying around, don’t drop sugar crumbs. Dispose leftovers or wrappers into plastic bags and tie them properly. 5. Shower is functioning but bathtub is not as I was not able to switch water from the shower-head to the bathtub tap. 6. Wild insects like bees entering your villa at night if you on the lights. Just adopt the healthy lifestyle and follow the sun. This place is definitely for you if you want to experience the jungle first hand and feel like an explorer in the comfort of air-conditioned villa. Great escape from the digital world. This is not a place for you if you’re whiny ass cosmopolitan kid that has never touched grass or have short temper as things are definitely slow. The resort villa would be a better choice.

I booked a 2-night stay with my Mrs in one of the villas connected to the shared pool, and our experience started off on a great note. We were picked up from the airport in a very comfortable Toyota Alphard arranged by the resort. Our driver and resort staff, Khai, was incredibly friendly—he patiently answered all my questions and gave us fantastic food recommendations since it was my first time in LGK. Upon arrival, we were welcomed by Daniel at the lobby. He served us beautifully presented lemon peach teas as a welcome drink and brought us through the entire check-in process. While waiting for our villa to be ready, we had lunch at the resort’s only restaurant. Unfortunately, this was the only part of the stay that fell short—the pizza crust was undercooked, a bit greasy, and tasted store-bought, which was quite disappointing. Thankfully, things picked up again after that. Khai later escorted us to our villa, and we were relieved that our balcony didn’t directly face the restaurant. However, I do feel the pool and villa balconies could be designed to offer more privacy so diners aren’t looking out over the area. Overall, the stay was truly pleasant. I loved that the resort is away from the busy beach, giving us a peaceful and quiet environment. All the staff were warm and friendly. A few standout perks include: 1. Complimentary rides to and from the property (subject to booking and availability) 2. Free minibar, replenished daily—including coffee capsules 3. Complimentary Netflix and YouTube accounts on the TV (which both my wife and I really love) 4. A pretty decent in-room breakfast experience. (they definitely do breakfast better than lunch, in my opinion) I also indulged in a 90-minute massage, which started with herbal tea, grapes, and a carrot stick during a herbal foot bath, followed by a foot massage and a one-hour full-body aromatherapy massage. My masseuse, Yaya, was incredibly patient and attentive, constantly checking on the pressure and even gifting me a small goodie bag at the end. All in all, I wouldn’t mind returning—and I’m even considering trying one of their larger 3-room villas next time. I highly recommend this resort for big families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway.

We originally booked the Salsa Hotel and moved to this one because Salsa was in such bad shape. It costs the same but the difference is night and day. Also nice that the bathroom is not a wet room and it has a nice pool.

Perfect place to enjoy a little quiet time or rambunctious gathering of friends or family. Tempe villa faces the paddy field, I enjoyed gawking at the buffaloes grazing and still feel safe inside the compound. The gardens are so well manicured and lush, rooms are clean and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped with stove, oven, fridge if you feel the urge to cook, they even have bottles of seasonings at the ready. Loved the rain shower and the spacious bathroom, although a little disappointed there was no bathtub. Master bedroom was a bit hot as the air conditioning was not directly facing the bed and blocked by the wardrobe. Price is a bit steep considering there’s no communal facilities, no F&B outlet or pool, as other villas except for this one have their own private pool. It would be great if there was an outdoor ceiling or standing fan for the terrace too, as it can get quite humid when there’s no wind. All in all, a very beautiful estate run by very friendly staff made it a very memorable stay.

Good afternoon. The villa matches the photos on the website. It's clean and has everything you need. There's a wonderful pool in the courtyard, so you can even swim! Contactless check-in. The beach and cafe are a 10-minute walk away! We loved everything!

Fantastic villa with prompt services provided. My family of 4 (inclusive of 2 kids under 7yo) thoroughly enjoyed the amenities provided within the house. Full kitchen facilities, private pool, toiletries, complimentary drinks and pods (refillable)..It's situated near enough to Pantai Cenang, but not as touristy/bustling. If you don't drive, grab cars are easily available and affordable. Very highly recommended!!

AAndrewwwenOur family of four spent a perfect 5-day New Year holiday at Villa Moo Moo. 1. We contacted the host, Azuan, in advance to let him know our check-in time. We just needed to find the location using Google Maps. 2. The location is in a village, about 200 meters from a side road. It's not particularly remote. We rented a car, so getting around was very convenient. 3. The villa has a pool table, karaoke, projector, swimming pool, washing machine, dryer, board games, volleyball, rice cooker, frying pan, cutlery, spoons, condiments, etc., more than enough for cooking (we used the rice cooker for hot pot on New Year's Eve). 4. The swimming pool water is constantly circulated, ensuring hygiene. There are plenty of towels; if you need to change them, just tell Azuan, and he'll get you new ones. 5. Regarding safety, since the host owns 10,000 square meters of land, there's no fence around the pool, so there are no safety issues. The host lives next door. 6. Every morning we woke up to fields and cows, and sunrises and sunsets. This is much better than many beachfront hotels! Thank you again to host Azuan for his attentive care.

GGuest UserAmazing and cozy place. The best spot in Langkawi! Quiet, peaceful, and odor-free. Everything is clean. The nature here is magnificent. It's best to come with a rental car, as there are no cafes nearby, and you'll need to plan your meals in advance. They offer delicious European-style breakfasts that aren't spicy, and great coffee. The manager is friendly and always available. With only four villas and a private area, it feels like the whole place belongs just to you. The pool is clean, and the sea is crystal clear. You can even use the kayaks for free. This is definitely a place I'd love to return to!
