Hotel near Tian'anmen Square and Wangfujing Area,Beijing

The room was spacious and very comfortable for our family trip. It came with a small kitchen, a large fridge, and a microwave, which added a lot of convenience. The bathtub in the master bedroom was also a highlight, great for the kids to splash around in! 🥳 The decor is a bit dated, but it clearly shows it was a high-quality build back in its day. The location is excellent, right by Wangfujing Department Store, making travel and shopping super convenient.

Hello thank you for a very comfortable stay. Its location is also very near subway station which makes it easier for me to visit tourist attractions. There is 7eleven and luckin coffee nearby. The host is also very friendly and tries his best to understand me despite the language barrier. I hope to be back again next time.

This was our second time staying at this hotel. Upon check-in, the room was upgraded. I did not notice a huge difference but appreciated the gesture. We stayed on the 21st floor. The crib was not available on the first night but the barrier was installed. Considering all pros and cons this is a nice hotel to stay at, i.e. rooms are bright ans spacious, there is a warm pool and well-equipped gym, the subway is around the corner, big mall with private access to the hotel, plus there is a city park in close proximity for kids to play. We would consider coming back for our next trip but also hope that rooms on higher floors will be managed better.

This hotel is a 3-minute walk from the subway station and directly across from a park, so the environment is excellent. The most surprising thing was the soundproofing; despite facing the street, I heard absolutely no noise. Before bed, I enjoyed a hot bath with strong water pressure and stable temperature, and even the shower gel had a high-end fragrance. The breakfast offers both Chinese and Western options, and the freshly ground coffee and handmade wontons were incredible—I left stuffed every day. The value for money is truly exceptional! When I'm utterly exhausted from a business trip, this hotel is a lifesaver. The room was spotlessly clean, with no dust even in the desk crevices. The bedding was soft and breathable, giving me the most peaceful sleep I've had in ages. The gym equipment is brand new, and a run after work was incredibly stress-relieving. Plus, the breakfast even has freshly made noodles with a fried egg, which was hearty and comforting—all the details perfectly cater to business travelers' needs. I'm definitely staying here whenever I visit this city again!

I genuinely want to give Sanlitun Stey a 'five-star rave review' this time. First, let me talk about what I loved most: the room's natural lighting was incredible. With the large windows open, the whole room lit up, and waking up to the sun was so comfortable. What I absolutely couldn't do without was their app; I could open and close the curtains and adjust the lights directly from my phone. In the morning, I'd just tap a couple of times from bed, and the curtains would open themselves. At night, when I was too tired to move a muscle, I'd just turn off the lights while lying down. As a true lazy person, I have to say: it won me over completely. The room itself was also a big plus. It was very clean, with good attention to detail; the floors and corners all looked neat. The bed was also great to sleep in, just the right firmness—not one of those saggy ones. I slept soundly until I woke up naturally and didn't have any back pain. Their shared communal space is also quite interesting. It's not just a showpiece public area; you can genuinely sit down there to work and get things done on your laptop. There are tables and sofas, and the atmosphere is comfortable. It's much better than squeezing into a cafe. It was perfect for organizing materials before a meeting. The young lady at the front desk was very nice. When we chatted, she mentioned that the space would be upgraded and renovated in the future, which sounded quite exciting. It gave me a feeling that 'things will only get better'. Overall, my stay felt different from a typical hotel; it was more like staying in a 'lazy-person-friendly future apartment'. Next time I'm in Beijing for a meeting, I'll definitely prioritize staying here again.

The soundproofing in the room was really poor. The TV in the room next door was blasting until past 1 AM, which was very disruptive. I specifically requested a high floor for a quiet stay, and I mentioned this well in advance. Instead, I was placed right next to the elevator, which was incredibly noisy. To top it off, the air conditioning was very loud and didn't cool the room effectively.

Coming to Beijing for a concert at the Bird's Nest, I was overwhelmed by hotel choices but finally settled on their family suite – and it was truly a steal! At around 250 RMB per person, that's an incredible price for Beijing, especially near the Bird's Nest. The suite was incredibly spacious, boasting a separate living room and a private balcony, far beyond what you'd expect from a standard hotel room. After the concert, we could all relax in the living room, chat, and have late-night snacks without feeling cramped at all. It was much livelier than everyone hiding in their own rooms. The balcony looked lovely for enjoying the night breeze and views, though it was too cold to go out. The hotel is just a 12-minute walk to the Bird's Nest, which was perfect after the show. No need to rush for the subway or worry about finding a taxi; we could just leisurely stroll back. Admittedly, the facilities show their age a bit, with a more classic rather than trendy decor. However, it's very well-maintained. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was comfortable, and everyone slept well. All the essentials were there – hot water and AC worked perfectly, and the soundproofing was decent; we weren't disturbed by any noise. Breakfast the next morning was pretty standard, but then again, there weren't many people eating. Highly recommend if you're traveling with a group!

Nice location, close to the metro. As for the apartment itself: we really didn't like the mattress. It was very very hard as though we were sleeping on the floor. After walking around the city all day our bodies didn't feel relaxed on this mattress and they hurt even more. The bathroom had a lot of mould on the wall. It's very unhealthy, especially for people with allergy. The house keeper cleaned it after we asked about it. We are thankful for that. Bare in mind that the fridge doesn't go below 6 degrees Celsius and often remains at 10. It's unsuitable for storing food that requires 2-4 degrees. Overall it's an ok stay for a couple of days if you don't mind hard mattresses and don't cook or store food much

Very Good
MMaria.ezI usually struggle to feel comfortable in hotels because I’m very much a “homey” person, but this place truly made me feel at home. The first thing that hits you is the size – the square meters are crazy. I’ve never stayed in such a huge apartment before, and it has a real wow-effect. The apartment has absolutely everything – dishwasher, plates, knives, bottle opener, you name it. I also really liked the shampoos and conditioners, which are much better quality than what you usually find in hotels. The bathroom is spacious, the design is lovely, and everything feels high quality – from the washing machine down to the shower gel. The swimming pool and breakfast were also very enjoyable. That said, there were a couple of downsides. The place is so big that the cleaning isn’t always perfect – we noticed some signs of missed cleaning, and unfortunately we even saw a cockroach in the kitchen. I also noticed that the kitchen staff didn’t wear hats or hair restraints, which was a bit off-putting. Location-wise, it’s far from tourist attractions and the subway – it took us about 40 minutes by taxi to get to the Forbidden City. Still, despite these issues, this is a wonderful place to stay. I fell in love with the Ascott chain and would definitely stay here again next time. Highly recommended!

Zzqshining1. We stayed here during the Spring Festival. Two families booked a two-bedroom apartment, and on New Year's Eve, we gathered in the living room to watch the Spring Festival Gala and play games, which the kids absolutely loved. 2. Getting a taxi to and from the city center was convenient, and there's a Siji Minfu restaurant right across the street. 3. Breakfast could be ordered as takeout, and there were plenty of options. 4. Although the apartment building is a bit older, it's well-maintained overall. 5. Having a kitchen, washing machine, refrigerator, and microwave made our stay incredibly convenient.

GGuest UserOverall, the stay was fine, but I don’t think it was really worth the price. The apartment itself was good — spacious, clean, and exactly as shown in the photos. The location was also decent. What I didn’t like: 1. Breakfasts were quite weak. They offered four options, and we tried them all — none were really good. For example, the sandwich was made with very poor-quality bread. The only thing we truly enjoyed were the fruits — not a lot of them, but always fresh and delicious. To be fair, the staff were kind and tried to help — for instance, one day I asked for a takeaway breakfast box, and although they said they normally don’t offer that, they still prepared one for me. We also asked for tea with breakfast (not included), and they made it for us. So the service was nice, but overall, the breakfast itself was disappointing. 2. The room was very cold. The floor was freezing, and the air conditioner didn’t work for heating. When I asked the staff, they said there was nothing they could do and that they didn’t have any heaters available. I found that quite strange — considering some reviews had already mentioned the same issue, it would make sense for the hotel to simply buy a few small heaters. 3. The shower door was installed incorrectly, leaving a large gap that let water leak out onto the bathroom floor every time we used it. The floor was constantly wet, and my wife even slipped once (fortunately without injury). 4. One of the power outlets might have damaged my charger. It was new and worked fine before, but after plugging it in the living room, it stopped working. The staff checked the outlets and said everything was fine. I can’t be 100% sure it was the hotel’s fault, so I’ll just mention it as a note. Overall, nice apartment and friendly staff, but for the price, I expected a bit more comfort — especially better heating and breakfast. All of these issues are quite small and easy to fix, and if they were addressed, I’d definitely say the hotel is worth the price.

Though have to walk a distance to either 2 nearby stations, though I think can just didi. It is also rather nearby the capital intl airport, so good plus point - about 40min car ride away.

GGuest UserIt was not very clean when I first arrived. The bed looked like it had not been changed. I had it changed after one night because I was allergic to it. After that, there was no problem. So if you want to go, first check if the sheets and quilt covers need to be changed. The house is clean, but the sewer in the bathroom is not well done and it smells very bad. It's not the smell of a dirty place, but the sewer pipe stinks and it spreads to the living room. You need to open the window and turn on the air conditioner for ventilation every day, and keep the bathroom door closed. There will be no problem. It can cure those who like to squat on the toilet, hahaha
