Trip.com Membership is designed to reward loyal customers with exclusive offers and elevate their travel experience on Trip.com. The program features six membership tiers—Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Diamond+, and the newly launched Black Diamond. Each tier unlocks more benefits, tailored to meet the needs of travelers at every level.

*After you book train tickets on Trip.com, you can use the refund fee waiver if needed. Once you select the refund fee waiver option for your train tickets, the refund fee for the tickets you’ve chosen in your order will be waived. The refund fee waiver is available only in the app and applies to refundable point-to-point train tickets operated by UK and European rail providers.
*The refund fee waiver is only available if you submit your refund request within the refund window and it complies with the refund policy. If the ticket is nonrefundable or the refund window has closed, Member Rewards can’t be used.

How to Upgrade Your Trip.com Membership Level

Want to see exactly how to level up your membership? Check out the Membership Level Details. If you meet the upgrade requirements, your membership will be upgraded seamlessly, and your tier will automatically update in your Trip.com account.

How Can I Keep My Current Membership Tier?

If you’re a Platinum member or higher and, during the validity period of your current tier, you don’t meet the requirements to maintain it, your membership tier will be adjusted. We’ll place you at Gold or above based on the number of bookings you made and the total amount you spent during that period.
Example of keeping your tier: If you’re a Platinum member and complete 3 bookings during your current tier’s validity period, your Platinum status will be extended for one year after it expires.
Downgrade example: If you’re a Diamond member and only complete one booking within the validity period, you’ll be downgraded to Gold status.
If you’re a Black Diamond member, we’ll review your status on your tier expiration date to determine whether you qualify to maintain your tier. This includes calculating your total spend during the validity period and checking any other requirements.
If you meet the requirements, we’ll automatically extend your Black Diamond membership. If you don’t, your membership will be moved to the appropriate tier, and you’ll need to be invited again to regain Black Diamond status.
