"Apart from the renovation which we were told beforehand, the room we had was dark (probably because it was a windowless room), humid, aircon wasn’t strong but they provided a fan. Could smell urine even with the toilet seat covered, toilet door was closed, to a point that i was awaken by the foul smell. Had to spray perfume to have it barely covered. Ventilation was super bad. Cons aside, service was good, fridge in room had free drinks. Would recommend to book a window room if you had to even though friend that stayed in the window room said it was bad too. There’s a mall few minutes walk away which was a plus. Good view on the reception floor too."

"This location was ideal for my short layover. Conveniently located adjacent to Beijing Capital International Airport, it offers virtually every amenity you could imagine. The value is also excellent considering what you save by taking advantage of the complimentary airport shuttle service. What truly made this stay exceptional, however, was the outstanding hospitality. I ordered room service, and the food arrived hot, delicious, reasonably priced, and surprisingly high quality. Breakfast was another highlight—I highly recommend adding it to your stay, whether you dine in the restaurant or enjoy it from the comfort of your room. I especially want to recognize Deane at the guest services desk. Exceptional customer service is becoming increasingly rare, and Deane reminded me what genuine hospitality looks like. When I needed a little extra time before checking out, he patiently listened to my request, helped me work through my admittedly imperfect Chinese, and went above and beyond by arranging a special accommodation that allowed me to remain in my room beyond the standard checkout time. At no point did I feel rushed or like an inconvenience. Instead, I felt genuinely welcomed as a guest. His professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help transformed what could have been a stressful travel day into a relaxed and enjoyable experience. Employees like Deane are a tremendous asset to any hotel, and he deserves recognition for the positive impression he leaves on guests. This personalized level of customer care is exactly why I would recommend this hotel to anyone flying into or out of Beijing, and why I will absolutely stay here again. I’ve attached a few photos I took during my visit. A special note for families with children: you would be hard-pressed to find a better airport hotel. Between the family rooms, swimming pool, breakfast buffet, and evening dining options—including pizza, burgers, and other Western favorites—there is plenty to keep children happy while creating memorable family experiences. 10/10. "We stayed for four nights at Manxin Hotel Qianmen Street in Beijing, and from the front desk staff to housekeeping, the thoughtful and meticulous service was evident everywhere. On the day of check-in, the front desk called us in advance to confirm our arrival, and the smart voice-controlled room was very convenient. Every time we entered or exited during our stay, the warm greetings from each staff member made us feel very welcome. The hotel's location is also very convenient; most major attractions are accessible by subway, and it's especially easy to get to the Great Wall, as the pick-up point is within walking distance. There are many old, famous restaurants near the hotel, and we tried them all this trip. The best service was definitely the 'Siji Minfu' queue-number retrieval service. After a tiring day of sightseeing, we could rest at the hotel and then head to the restaurant when it was almost our turn – it was incredibly convenient! If we visit Beijing again, we would definitely consider Manxin Hotel!"

"The front desk staff were very warm and helpful, and housekeeping was attentive. The room had all the amenities you could need, the bathroom was quite spacious with a great shower, and there was even a projector on the wall for watching movies at night. Overall, it was a very cozy and welcoming experience."

"My stay at Ande Hotel Beijing South Station Yangqiao Branch was absolutely fantastic! First, I have to give a huge shout-out to Cheche at the front desk – his attitude was just superb! He was incredibly patient throughout, answered all my questions without a hint of annoyance, which made me feel so comfortable. The hotel's environment also exceeded my expectations. It was spotless overall, with no unpleasant odors at all. Both the hallways and the room were tidily kept, making for a very reassuring stay. And I absolutely have to praise the bed! It was so soft and comfortable; the pillows and mattress were perfectly supportive. I fell asleep in no time, and the soundproofing was excellent. I slept soundly until morning without any disturbances. All the facilities were quite new too; the hot water, air conditioning, and WiFi were all stable and worked seamlessly. Its location near the station also made getting around super convenient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in the area and will recommend it to my friends!"

"What a pleasant surprise, this courtyard hotel! At night, the red lanterns illuminate the wooden beams, creating a fantastic ambiance in the traditional Chinese courtyard with stunning views. The entire room is equipped with Xiaodu smart voice control, allowing you to turn lights on/off and play music with just a voice command – the level of smart tech far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, tidy, cozy, and comfortable. Overall, the experience completely surpassed what I anticipated. It's definitely worth coming back to, and this will be my first choice for future stays!"

"Traveling from Xinjiang to Beijing with my kids, I wanted them to experience the charm of Beijing's old streets and hutongs. After comparing a few places, I chose this one. The environment is incredibly elegant; winding alleys lead to a hidden pavilion, and the lotus flowers, fish, and pavilion in the courtyard feel like a picturesque paradise, instantly washing away travel fatigue. In the evenings, the children sat by the pond, enjoying snacks and playing – an experience you simply can't get in a steel-and-glass hotel. The room decor is spacious and refined, and the mattress and pillows, in particular, are extremely comfortable. What's more, every staff member here is incredibly attentive and thoughtful; the service is super. We stayed for three nights and were very satisfied! 👍"

"Facilities: The hotel has a coffee machine, a robot for delivering takeout, and a laundry room. However, the laundry room only washes clothes, it doesn't have a dryer. Since it's been raining in Beijing these past couple of days, it's best to bring extra clothes. Cleanliness: The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and there's also a courtyard which is very clean and a great spot to sunbathe. Environment: The environment is exceptionally good and very comfortable, and the sun was lovely. Service: The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and always cheerful. Highly recommended! The hotel also offers luggage storage and can help order food delivery directly to your room. I'll definitely recommend it to my friends and will stay here again next time I'm in Beijing."

"Loved our stay here. This property is clean, modern yet full of character. It is tucked into a quiet residential hutong so it feels like you’re actually staying in a neighborhood instead of a tourist district although the bigger tourist attractions are just a short cab / bike or metro ride away. The hospitality was honestly next level. Daily laundry service, questions promptly addressed and if you chill in the common areas they’ll just keep bringing you food and drinks. Fresh wontons, noodles, mango sago, steamed egg, fresh apricots the owner picked himself, and other little treats throughout the day. They also put thought into the breakfast curation so you get to trial local flavors. Our 7 year old loved the hotel. He spent time feeding the fish, watching the singing birds, looking at the grasshoppers, making cotton candy, and just wandering around the courtyard. It ended up being one of his favorite parts of the trip, and he genuinely didn’t want to leave. Definitely look into this place you’re looking for a boutique courtyard hotel with authentic hutong charm and some of the warmest hospitality."
