The hotel's location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City. From the terrace, you can enjoy beautiful views of both the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. The lobby offers complimentary self-service tea and fruit. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, assisting us a great deal. The breakfast spread is rich and varied, with fresh squeezed juices being a huge plus. The room was clean and tidy, and the mini-bar drinks, biscuits, and capsule coffee were all complimentary. It offers great value for money, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Beijing.

I'd give it an 11 out of 10, without a doubt! That extra point is entirely thanks to staff member #8. She was lovely, and her service was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. A huge thank you to her! I'll definitely be back.

I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel during my time in Beijing. The room was extremely clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, which made it a great place to return to after a long day out. The hotel staff were also very friendly and approachable, always ready to help when I had questions or needed assistance. One of the things I appreciated most was the location. It’s very close to Beijing South Railway Station, which made getting around super convenient. There’s also a street with plenty of great food options just a 10-minute walk away, perfect for grabbing a quick bite or exploring local eats. Overall, a great stay and I’d definitely recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, service, and convenience.

This hotel is fantastic! It's super convenient for getting around, with a subway station just 200 meters away. Universal Studios is only three stops away. The hygiene is excellent, and Ctrip even upgraded us for free to a family suite, which was very spacious with two large 1.35m beds. The pour-over coffee in the room was delicious. The front desk staff and servers were very friendly, and they even had a robot deliver breakfast. There are plenty of dining options nearby, especially Jingxi Restaurant next door with its amazing and affordable hotpot and Peking duck.

The hotel is located in a very quiet neighbourhood. The atmosphere is very relaxing. However, the streets here are narrow and your cab driver will have some challenge coming in to the street. The room size is a little small but it's perfect for single occupancy. What i really liked about this hotel is the smart toilet which is equipped with bidet. Very clean. There was welcome fruit platter which i enjoyed. The tea tasted amazing as well. Beds were comfortable. Overall, I am really satisfied and will recommend to fellow travellers.

I stayed for three days, and this hotel truly exceeded my expectations! The location is fantastic; right outside, you'll find a subway station and a bustling shopping area, yet the room itself was surprisingly quiet. The bedding was incredibly soft, like sleeping on a cloud, and I woke up feeling refreshed every morning. The 'red uniform team' (staff) provided exceptional service – they proactively asked about my preferred pillow type and even hand-drew a map of local eateries. The freshly prepared noodle station at breakfast was my favorite; the chef remembered I don't like cilantro! The room was spotless, and every evening I returned to find a handwritten goodnight card and a wellness tea. The attention to detail truly showed how much they care. I've already recommended it to friends, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit!

Before coming, I saw many people saying that the Universal Hotel wasn't as good as the Nuo Hotel. However, because it's conveniently located right above Universal Studios, I decided to book it anyway. After checking in, I felt it completely exceeded my expectations. Hygiene/Facilities: The room was very clean. Although the windows were sealed, there was no damp or strange odor inside. The bedside tables even had corner protectors, and lotions, shower gels, etc., had security seals – something many five-star hotels don't do, as they usually use refillable dispensers. The number of bottled water bottles in the room was also more than what you'd find in a typical hotel. Environment/Service: Rooms with a view offer direct sight of the park. The hotel staff were proactive in their service. Luggage storage was very convenient, and even the cleaning staff would greet you in the hallway. Before check-in, a staff member called in advance to understand my needs. Overall, I'm very satisfied with the Universal Hotel. Plus, it's really close to the park; you can use a separate hotel passage, which allows early park entry an hour before opening, saving a lot of time.

My stay at Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel was a constant delight! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was captivated by the modern artistic ambiance and attentive service. The room design was exceptionally stylish, and the Forbidden City view room offered a superb panorama, showcasing Beijing's unique blend of ancient and modern. The bedding was comfortable, and the bathing experience felt luxurious, with quality evident in every detail. The professionalism and warmth of the staff, from the front desk to room service, were particularly commendable; every interaction was a pleasure. Located in the Jinzhan area, the environment is quiet and pleasant, yet conveniently accessible. The hotel's dining was another highlight; breakfast was abundant and exquisite, and the creative cocktails during happy hour were unforgettable. The service was a bit inconsistent, but I have to say, they really delivered on my request for a room with a better view when I booked in advance, which is a big plus. The most bizarre thing, though, is that you have to pick up your own food deliveries; staff can't do it for you, and there are no robots either. As for the facilities, well, they're quite old-fashioned.

KKarlos88Great location, so close to subway. Also massive shopping centres with many food options and shopping options. Staff were very friendly and the overall hotel vibe is very young and chill. Can see why it ranked number 1 place in 4 star hotels. Management has done a fantastic job with the hotel. Laundry room seemed clean and modern and new, same with the lobby facilities. Generous mini bar and bottled water offerings as part of booking. Environmentally friendly design, with the motion sensors in room to turn off lighting if unused. My main disappointment was when we got new towels, one was fresh and one was smokey, like cigarettes drenched smell. No washing detergent smell at all. The hotel is a non smoking hotel so not sure how that happened. It was very bad, like if the towel had been used to contain smoking or something. But staff quickly amended this for me, so still 100% score from me :) Shout out to Su Yuchen for a really warm welcome and check in process. And Wangxin for going above and beyond to assit us with booking tickets. Big thanks to rest of team for a lovely stay. Will book here again for next year's visit and also look at booking CitiGo brands in other cities as well!

__WeChat31647****This trip was a fall foliage adventure with my elderly parent and young child. Room cleanliness: Very clean and tidy. We stayed for two nights, and the cleaning lady was exceptionally dedicated. She helped us organize our room items, and upon seeing our baby, she even proactively provided extra essential supplies for us. She placed frequently used items in the most convenient spots and arranged the room for the following night according to our habits. Service: The front desk staff were very energetic. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, the uncle and young man at the entrance actively helped with our luggage, even assisting me with the stroller and carrying my child out of the car, watching over the baby while I sorted out my belongings. This is an area where other Wanda Realm hotels in other cities need to improve. I've stayed at many Wanda Realm and Oriental Realm hotels in various cities, and while the brand is generally good, this particular branch stands out in quality compared to others. They even helped me arrange for a robot to deliver late-night takeout. Many of our requests were actively accommodated, making for a very comfortable stay. Finally, we received a little teddy bear for our baby from the guest relations department. We didn't accept gifts or write reviews for other branches, but we are very satisfied with this one and would gladly recommend it to friends visiting Beijing. It would be even more appealing if they had kids' rooms in the future, as it would allow parents to relax and let their children explore freely.

GGuest UserStaying in Mandarin Oriental Qianmen was truly amazing. The whole team plan well to implement exceptional customer service and share the beauty of their property. I'd like to particularly mention some of your staffs ”Marcus” who cared so much about us from the beginning to the end, ”Eathen” the butler who was very professional during the room tour. It was our 2-year anniversary trip and they prepared our room very nicely. Next morning, we had a really joyful breakfast time with ”Wujoon Lee” and the chef ”Ping” Each menu of breakfast was top-notch. Every ingredient was very fresh, high quality, and full of authentic flavors(The Olive oil and Balsamic🫶). We loved Chef Ping's delightful energy and spirit! They were so friendly, and we even took a walk together with Wujoon after breakfast. He showed us other restaurants and beautiful ballrooms and shared many interesting stories regarding the property. It was a very pleasant conversation. I'd also like to mention one bell boy staff(sorry, couldn't pick his name up.) who came to pick up our luggage! We needed more time for packing, so he had to wait for another 10 minutes outside and took our luggage. I was supposed to meet him at the lobby because we wanted to take some more last-minute photos of our beautiful room before we leave. It was raining. After another 10-15mins, we went out and were surprised that he was waiting for us in front of our door without telling us. He just said it was raining quite heavily, so he thought it was better we take the buggy to go to the lobby. He didn't tell us because he didn't want to push us at all and make us hurry. He was very thoughtful, and I was very touched. When we reached lobby, many staffs waiting for us to say good bye, and I was told that the hotel car was prepared for my next destination.(Bvlgari hotel) I was surprised because I was supposed to grab the cab. Marcus gently offered me to take the host car for my convenience with this kind of weather. I really don't know what to say, and I felt like the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen treated me like their family. It was definitely beyond my expectations. All the staff have been very helpful, professional, and attentive. During my way to Bvlgari Hotel, I found out that the driver doesn't use the navigation. I asked him, ”Do you know where we are going?” He said he knows all the locations of every 5 stars and higher grade hotels. What a gentle and professional driver! There are always some reasons to come back! For me, the reason to come back to this property is definitely people and the breakfast, lol. The personnel of this property are absolutely the assets! The quality of service delivered by them during my Beijing trip has convinced me that I can always rely on this hotel for the home-away-from-home feeling. See you again!

MM303531****This hotel is great for a weekend getaway with kids. Juyongguan Great Wall and Shuiguan Great Wall are nearby, with Shuiguan Great Wall being closer and less crowded, though a bit challenging to climb. The hotel is nestled in the mountains, offering a pleasant environment with individual villas dotted up the hillside. Our room was quite far, so we needed to drive to the lobby and restaurant. The hotel also offers many family-friendly activities. On our second morning, we participated in a valley hike, which was essentially a mountain climb – it requires some stamina. There were also quite a few downsides. Given how spread out the rooms are and how far they are from the lobby, one would expect butler service, but there was none. Moreover, it was very difficult to get through to the front desk from the room phone. For a self-proclaimed 'family-friendly hotel,' there weren't even children's slippers in the room. After finally getting through on the phone, it took an hour for them to be delivered. Why weren't they provided directly at check-in when they saw we had a child? The room itself was fairly large, but the bathroom lacked air conditioning/heating, and the shower was open-concept. This design might be fine in Sanya, but in Yanqing, showering at night was absolutely freezing. There was also water pooling, and when staff came to check, they said it was because the floor drain was too high, and nothing could be done, which was a bit frustrating. We had two meals at the hotel restaurant; the food was good, albeit a bit pricey. We also ate at a farmhouse restaurant down the mountain where the iron pot stewed fish was delicious – I forgot its name, but it had “Tell Old Mo I want to eat fish” written on the wall. Despite the downsides, it's still a good place for a weekend with kids. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a children's splash pool, which were closed due to the cold weather. We'll definitely bring the kids back in the summer.

GGuest UserI recently stayed at the lovely Pan Pacific Beijing while visiting Beijing for the first time. After arriving on the high speed train from Shanghai to Beijing South Railway Station, I was pleased that I could board the Metro (Line 4) and ride just four stops north to the Xidan station which was just a short walk from the hotel. The Pan Pacific is ideally situated in the Xicheng District, which is close to the historic sites (e.g.; the Palace Museum / Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heaven, ...) yet retains a local flair. Should one have the desire/need to shop, the Joy City and Grand Pacific malls are nearby and offer every item from cosmetics and clothes to EVs and restaurants. My 12th floor Grand Double Bed room was clean, spacious, quiet, comfortable, and well appointed (with an amazing shower). The housekeeping staff did a commendable job of cleaning and restocking my room in a timely manner at my convenience. Each day I worked out in the spacious fitness facility which was stocked with well maintained and high quality equipment (ellipticals, treadmills, weights, ...). The first floor breakfast buffet was delicious, extensive, and very reasonably priced, offering a variety of tasty Asian and Western dishes. As a non-Chinese speaker, I consulted the friendly and helpful concierge on a variety of matters. He even procured me tickets for Tiananmen Square through the WeChat mini App (a non-trivial process for non-Chinese). All of the Pan Pacific staff went out of their way to make my visit a most memorable one. Shortly after checking out, I received a phone message while traveling on the high speed train to Hangzhou. The housekeeper called to inform me that I'd accidentally left my keys and (invaluable) USB stick in the safe. Upon arriving in Hangzhou, I called the Pan Pacific and I explained the situation to an exceptionally kind and helpful Pan Pacific employee named Annie. She located the keys/USB and offered to courier them to me in Shanghai (my destination following my brief stay in Hangzhou). Sure enough, upon checking-in three days later in Shanghai, my keys/USB were promptly delivered. Thank you for going the extra mile, Annie, your compassionate treatment coupled with the outstanding service I received throughout my visit has made me a Pan Pacific Beijing convert for life. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Without hesitation, I highly recommend the Pan Pacific Beijing. JJt833We spent 2 nights in the 2-bedroom loft at Le Zai Nan Luo Gu Alley and it was a fantastic stay from beginning to end. The design and atmosphere truly capture the charm of hutong-style living, giving us a unique local experience without sacrificing comfort and modern amenities. The location is unbeatable — right in the heart of the tourist hutong shopping district, surrounded by cafés, boutique shops, and endless food options. Major attractions like the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven, Tiananmen and more are all nearby, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. Breakfast and afternoon tea were included, which was a lovely touch and made our stay feel even more special. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, blending traditional elements with a boutique, contemporary feel. The service was exceptional. Staff were attentive, friendly and always willing to help. They even took the initiative to transfer our luggage to our next hotel while we went shopping, which saved us so much time and hassle. Not to forget, upon checking out, they gifted us a small traditional Chinese tea set — such a thoughtful gesture that really made us feel appreciated. Overall, a wonderful stay with unforgettable service and an authentic hutong experience. Highly recommended and we will definitely return on our next visit.
