The location was great, but our room had no direct light from sun, and no windows opening on outside at all, with an A/C that was not working at all. The room was hot and not air moving, a terrible feeling. On top of that, the room was located just below the roof top that was undergoing construction work, which means lot of noise from early morning. The room is very old, walls are stained, clearly not looking like the booking site pictures. The hotel needs a big refresh. Right now the entire exterior is under construction, I hope you plan to do the rooms soon. Overall, not acceptable not to be informed that there is big construction work done at the moment, and having a room with no external ventilation and AC working should not even be commercialized. A rip off for the price paid.

Fantastic stay! 10/10! I absolutely loved everything about this hotel! First of all, the location is great — right on a very cozy waterfront. It's relatively close to the city's main attractions, and renting bikes nearby is super convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful! The room was cozy and spotlessly clean. They provided everything we needed: shower slippers, regular soft slippers, all toiletries, towels, a hairdryer, a kettle with mugs, and a huge TV. I also really loved the lighting — it was beautifully designed and added such a warm, cozy atmosphere to the room! The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, and they always left delicious tea — such a nice touch! A special thank you to the staff members 车车Che Che and 小青 Xiao Qing! One evening, my friend and I brought back some fruit and asked for a plate and a knife. These two kindly washed and cut the fruit for us themselves! It was such a sweet and thoughtful gesture 😊💗 The entire team was always ready to help with anything. They're truly amazing! I highly recommend this hotel to everyone — it's a solid 10/10!

Very cute helpful counter girls. And a handsome counter guy as well. They spoke English well and could speak chinese. I bought them a tea, which they enjoyed. Because they helped me order food at 2 am. There is free water, cute kittens and they take taobao orders. They also help u with questions and recommendations. Questions like how to order or wbere good food spots are. It is kind of hard to find at first. But the name of the hotle is inscribed on a stone brick square stone with light. Across the entry of another big hotel. It is at a fantastic spot. And easy to get around with leg wagon, and didi or even a premium/ p. didi' There is a fun anime/mall around. Where u can enjoy good food at the bottom floor. Thank you for having us, It was a pleasure. Greeting, Triple R/izzy/linda/sunflower li

For my trip to Beijing, I specifically chose Beiping Courtyard and stayed in a tatami room. The overall experience exceeded my expectations and was incredibly heartwarming. The courtyard is tucked away in a hutong, offering a quiet escape from the bustling city, exuding the charm of old Beijing. I was lucky to visit in May when the roses were in bloom, which really enhanced the atmosphere. The room was clean and cozy, and the tatami provided a relaxing and comfortable stay. The facilities were complete, and the attention to detail was impressive. The staff were all very friendly and easygoing, providing thoughtful yet unobtrusive service, making me feel as comfortable as if I were staying at a friend's house. The food at the hotel was authentic and delicious, made with quality ingredients. The overall slow pace was very therapeutic, and I had a wonderfully comfortable stay. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Beijing!

I came to watch a show at the Poly Theatre, and it's only a 10-minute walk from here. The street is lined with many lush, beautiful trees. Across from the hotel, there's a middle school and a 7-Eleven convenience store, which is very handy. The area is quiet because there's a residential community nearby. It rained the day I arrived, and the male staff at the front desk were very warm and attentive, thank you. The economy room wasn't large, but it was perfectly sufficient for my trip, and the hotel itself was very quiet, so I slept really well. I plan to choose this place again next time I come for a show.

The hotel's front desk staff and the cleaning aunties were all incredibly friendly. The hotel environment is also quite good, and it's very convenient to get to Beijing's major attractions whether by taxi or subway. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Beijing. The bedding was also very comfortable, and I slept really well. The auntie even noticed we only drank bottled water and left us a ton of bottles, which really surprised us!

The hotel lobby boasts an exquisite design, and there's a greeter at the entrance 24/7. The rooms are designed like apartments, and the loft style is a hit with kids. The hotel pool is a standout feature; the retractable roof opens up around May 1st, which always brings in more guests.

The location is super convenient, with plenty of dining options nearby, making it easy to get around for sightseeing or business. All the staff—from the front desk to housekeeping and the restaurant—are polite and enthusiastic. Vic Dahlia, in particular, provided exceptional service, responding to requests promptly and efficiently. The entire room was deep-cleaned; the bedding and bathroom were spotless, with no strange odors or dust, showing great attention to detail. All appliances worked perfectly, the WiFi was stable, there was plenty of hot water, and the mattress was comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent. The value for money far exceeds other hotels in the same category. My entire stay was comfortable and pleasant. I've already saved this place and will definitely rebook for my next trip. Highly recommend it to everyone!

The room's cleanliness was quite good, which is the main reason for the positive rating on hygiene. Facing the back garden with sealed windows, the room was relatively quiet. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of options—Chinese, Western, and Japanese—but the taste was really disappointing; none of it was good. It’s my first time not feeling full after a hotel buffet. The poor quality of the food is why I gave a low score for the facilities.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.

MMudongdong_xChoosing Qiuguo for business trips is such a breeze! The lobby is a versatile 'seven-in-one' space, perfect for both work and relaxation. The rooms are well soundproofed and bright, and the high-speed WiFi is stable, making it stress-free to get work done. There's a 24-hour self-service laundry and dryer, so no need to pack dirty clothes when traveling for business. The front desk staff is professional and efficient, proactively helping with luggage storage and recommending routes; their service is thoughtful and attentive. The facilities are new, and hygiene is strictly maintained. The Lang Le Fu mattress provides a first-class sleeping experience. Highly recommend for business travelers!

GGuest UserThe Executive Lounge on the 17th floor offers a fantastic view of the Forbidden City. Usually open from 6:30 AM to 10 PM, it's the perfect spot to take in the Forbidden City, including sunrises, sunsets, and its nighttime splendor. The hotel service is excellent, with staff proactively greeting guests and bellhops readily assisting with luggage. The ladies at the Executive Lounge were also super helpful, even offering tips for taking great photos of the Forbidden City. The hotel is conveniently located right on Wangfujing Street, directly opposite the Capital Theater. It's incredibly easy to go shopping and dining. After the pandemic, some sections of Wangfujing Street were converted into a pedestrian-only zone, making it truly China's premier 'Golden Street,' bustling with delicious food, fun activities, and a lively atmosphere. In the evenings, Wangfujing transforms into a talent show stage, with people singing and dancing everywhere. It's a vibrant area that still retains a strong sense of local charm. The hotel is just a few minutes' walk from the National Art Museum subway station, making it very convenient to access Beijing's core attractions like Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, Qianmen, Temple of Heaven, Jingshan Park, Shichahai, and Nanluoguxiang. There's also a designated parking spot for shared bikes right outside the hotel.

YYongyuanzaijianfeidexiaochihuoTraveling to Beijing with my kids for a concert, after much deliberation, I still chose the Mandarin Oriental, a hotel I've always loved! Their consistently thoughtful service and excellent food proved my decision was spot on, haha~ The location of Mandarin Oriental Wangfujing is unbeatable; it's very close to Tiananmen Square and the Forbidden City, with plenty of shopping malls and great dining options nearby. The large terrace on the 5th floor offers stunning views, and this time I even managed to capture the Forbidden City at sunset~ The semi-buffet breakfast with a la carte options is very convenient, and all the pastries are handmade daily, which my kids thoroughly enjoyed~ Many thanks to Rosie from Guest Relations, as well as Aimyon and Stena, who made my four-night stay truly delightful!

AAnonymous UserHad a great enjoyable stay at Wanda Vista Hotel. The room is clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable too. Breadfast spread was good and tasty. Location is fantastic. Near subway and taxi is easily accessible too. Air con temp is adjustable which is important during summer. All the staffs are very helpful and thoughtful. Special thanks to Cindy Gao who gave a cute teddy bear for my son. Would definitely recommend Wanda Vista Hotel to my friends.

GGuest UserI booked this hotel for its convenient location, and it certainly didn't disappoint! There's a bus stop right outside, and the subway entrance is only about 100-200 meters away. Plus, it's next to Tong Ren Tang and super close to the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park. The service was also incredibly warm; they even brought me a hot chrysanthemum tea when I came back from a concert, which was so thoughtful! The breakfast was delicious, and I especially loved their flavorful cold dishes. Unfortunately, the TV had no signal due to a wiring issue, and I accidentally booked a room without a window, ugh! Oh, and they gave me some small pastries when I checked out, which was a nice surprise!

FFanfanbufanMy stay at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing, was truly unforgettable, and I deeply appreciated the brand's consistently high standard of service. From the moment I arrived at the hotel entrance, my butler, Melody, personally greeted me and assisted with check-in. Throughout my entire stay, from check-in to my departure, she maintained a perfectly proactive yet unobtrusive service rhythm – meticulous and thoughtful, yet making me feel comfortable and at ease. Whenever I needed assistance, she was promptly there, while also maintaining appropriate boundaries. This professional yet warm and personalized service truly showcased Mandarin Oriental's service excellence. I also want to specially commend Carla at the front desk. She was incredibly efficient and professional during both check-in and check-out, with smooth processes and a very warm and friendly attitude. The dining experience was equally impressive. While dining at The Courtyard, Iris provided professional and detailed introductions for each dish, making the meal much richer and more enjoyable. For in-room dining, I chose to have hot pot in the courtyard, and Daisy and her team made thorough preparations. The ingredients were incredibly fresh, and the overall setup was exquisitely arranged, creating a fantastic ambiance and perfect photo opportunities. The experience was absolutely exceptional. Regarding the SPA, I'd like to extend a special thanks to Tiana at the front desk. She patiently explained the different treatments and helped me choose one that was perfectly suited for me. The next day, I returned for a facial treatment. The entire process was incredibly smooth and relaxing, and both therapists, Ivy and Sunny, were highly professional. The experience was excellent. Every single staff member I encountered during my stay was highly dedicated, and you could truly feel the team's commitment to service quality. My experience at Mandarin Oriental Qianmen, Beijing, was delightful, and I look forward to returning in the future.

GGuest UserThis experience was a bit disappointing! First, the good points: the accommodation package included a high-quality afternoon tea set, and the staff were very friendly! Now for the not-so-good parts: I'm not sure if it was due to the increased traffic during the May Day holiday, but the room cleaning was unsatisfactory. There were hairs everywhere, on the sofa and in the corners of the walls. I wonder if the previous guest had a pet. We had to request a second vacuum cleaning! The evening BBQ buffet was definitely something to avoid. I've never had such a terrible BBQ. It felt like an immature dish added on a whim without any proper menu development! There were no labels at the buffet counter, and all the BBQ items were mixed together. We had to ask the staff, who then had to ask the chef, and the chef would then explain each item one by one. It was basically a 'mystery box' buffet. The scallops were overcooked and a bit tough. There was no juice at the buffet, and a star-rated hotel actually served cold mixed noodles (liangpi)! The worst part was that the BBQ meat and grilled tendon weren't fully cooked. They lacked chewiness and that grilled flavor; it was more like they were par-boiled first and then grilled. The overall temperature of the food wasn't very hot, and if you didn't eat it quickly at your table, it would get cold. The only highlight was that the crayfish were decent. The watermelon at the buffet wasn't as good as the watermelon in the afternoon tea set. The dinner menu was actually worse than breakfast.
