I specifically chose this hotel for an early morning flight on my second day, as it's within walking distance to Terminal 1. It only takes a few minutes to walk from the second floor, which was quite convenient. The express checkout was great; I just dropped off my room key and could head directly to the terminal via the skybridge, saving me a trip to the front desk. The room was spacious and clean. For those interested, you can also explore the outlet mall nearby. The soundproofing, however, was not great. Some guests checked in late at night and were very loud, which was quite rude.

The biggest drawback is how small the room is; there's barely enough space to open your luggage. The exterior looks really grand and luxurious, but the room layouts are quite poor, and the rooms are genuinely tiny.
Service: It was decent; they even upgraded my room.
Otherwise, there are only three hotels on the island, and given my budget, I chose this mid-range one.
Overall: The small room size is a significant downside, but the accompanying services are good.

Pros:
1. **Convenient Takeaway**: There's a dedicated takeaway locker. You can easily order from Wallace, McDonald's, Luckin Coffee, and nearby supermarkets.
2. **Shuttle Service**: They offer a mini-bus service to and from the high-speed rail station (limited seating, requires advance booking).
3. **Festive Atmosphere**: The hotel really goes all out for holidays! The Christmas decorations and festive fireworks were beautiful – a huge bonus.
4. **Excellent Front Desk Service**: The front desk staff were very proactive in resolving issues, and calls were always answered. Hotel staff were also enthusiastic about helping with luggage.
5. **Great Location**: Very close to Stone Park and Tonggulun, and taxis are easily accessible.
6. **Friendly Cats**: There are adorable (wild) cats around, very friendly and not aggressive towards people.
Cons:
1. **Musty Smell in Room**: The room had a strong musty smell (barely tolerable).
2. **Cleanliness Issues**: The hygiene was just okay. There was mold on the walls and air vents, and the bottom of the bathtub was yellowed with uncleaned hair nearby.
3. **Poor Wi-Fi for Apple Users**: The Wi-Fi was not very friendly for iPhone users; it kept disconnecting or failing to connect, so I mostly relied on mobile data.
4. **Terrible Food**: Although the hotel food portions were large, it was incredibly bad. The Baoluo noodles had absolutely no flavor (not just bland).
5. **Noisy Cats at Night**: The kittens were a bit noisy at night (perhaps hungry or something else). I suggest arranging deworming and neutering for the cats, providing a cat house (please don't kill or drive them away) as part of the hotel's 'cute pets' initiative, maybe even creating a cat cafe.
For the price of over 400, this hotel is already quite good and offers great value for money.

What an incredible night, it felt like all my previous trips to Sanya were wasted! I've stayed in plenty of five-star hotels around this area, but this was my first time at MGM. I brought my parents to Sanya, hoping they'd enjoy themselves since they're getting on in years, so I booked this full ocean-view suite. They were absolutely thrilled! The large balcony was perfect for photos and watching the sunrise – truly amazing.
The service was exceptionally good, especially from Xiao Hu. He took care of us every step of the way, adding me on WeChat the day before to help with arrangements. Before our room was ready, he even arranged a temporary room for my parents to rest in. The suite included breakfast at the beachfront restaurant, and the à la carte options were incredibly exquisite. Originally, only two breakfasts were included, but Xiao Hu helped us get an extra one for free.
The hotel also had a lot of lively activities in the evening.

Although the hotel has been open for a while, the facilities and environment are truly exceptional – very clean and tidy. My only minor complaint is that the outdoor pool felt a bit too simple.
The breakfast buffet is huge with an incredible variety of dishes. I stayed two days and still couldn't try everything! The Hainan specialty Hou'an noodles were delicious, and so were the Jianbing Guozi (savory crepes).
Dinner was also excellent. The Hainan yellow beef was very fresh and the quality was good. The Zao Po Cu (vinegar soup) and spicy soup were appetizing and tasty. There was also a live band performing 🎤. It would have been even more perfect if cocktails 🍹 were available. The Wenchang chicken was very fresh.
Service was consistently great. The hotel offers many adult activities, but you definitely need to book them in advance, as it's very difficult to get a spot by booking on the same day.
I had a wonderful trip. The hotel had a full itinerary of activities, and the scenery was beautiful. Special thanks to our butler, Mile, for their thoughtful service, including preparing fruit and a small cake. The activity arrangements and bookings were very reliable. 👍

Amazing value for money! The environment is beautiful, and there are even fireworks at night. The room was clean and tidy with no strange smells, and all the facilities were complete. The bedding was super soft, and I slept incredibly well. The front desk staff were great, answering all my questions and being super attentive. The location is also convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in the area!

The Hilton is definitely the best hotel on Ocean Flower Island, and its location is fantastic. There's a gourmet food street nearby, and a McDonald's just a few steps downstairs. It's super convenient for catching the light show at night, and visiting the museum complex and outlet mall during the day.
The hotel facilities are also great; having a Bluetooth speaker to listen to music is a nice touch.
The first room I stayed in was quite small. Even though the front desk had thoughtfully given me a room on a higher floor, the hallway in the room still felt cramped. Later, because the air conditioning broke, they moved me to a larger sea-view room, and suddenly, the room felt much more comfortable.
The biggest downside in the room was that the shower water wasn't hot enough. After showering, I was freezing! It was practically lukewarm water. The bath towels were also cold, not absorbent, and felt slippery – just so cold.
Another drawback was that the windows were very heavy; you needed staff to help open or close them, which was a bit inconvenient.
Overall, the service staff were generally very good, and my overall experience was still pretty positive.

A dream vacation in the middle of the sea, Phoenix Island truly understands how to do a resort getaway! The moment I stepped onto Phoenix Island, Sanya’s iconic island experience, my expectations soared! The five iconic crescent-shaped buildings are stunning, and the island's exclusive shuttle service is always on call. Just across a bridge is the bustling city center, making it incredibly convenient to visit the First Market and Jiefang Road Pedestrian Street. Popular attractions like Coconut Dream Corridor and Luhuitou are also close by, so getting around is no problem at all.
Even more delightful, the front desk attendant, Helen, thoughtfully upgraded my booked 55sqm sea-view room directly to a 120sqm sea-view family suite! Opening the window revealed an endless ocean vista. I woke up to the gentle sea breeze in the mornings and enjoyed the golden sunset and colorful clouds from the balcony in the evenings. Even while bathing, I could catch glimpses of the shimmering sea. The Villeroy & Boch bathroom fixtures in the room were exceptionally high quality, showcasing luxury in every detail – my impression was instantly elevated.
Sky Lounge on the 33rd floor is also a must-visit spot. The 360-degree floor-to-ceiling windows offer panoramic views of the magnificent sea and sky. In the afternoon, I enjoyed a delicate afternoon tea, with the sea breeze carrying the scent of coconuts. In the evening, I sipped cocktails to the melodious tunes of the live band – the atmosphere was incredibly romantic and relaxing.
From the warm welcome at check-in to the meticulous cleaning by the housekeeping staff, the entire service was thoughtful and professional. It's truly a quality hotel that has hosted guests for the CCTV Spring Festival Gala and Miss World contestants. Here, the poetic beauty of the stars and sea perfectly blends with the vibrant local life. Whether for a romantic honeymoon, a family trip with children, or a family gathering, everyone can create unforgettable memories. I'm already eagerly anticipating my next visit!

Atlantis Sanya Hotel Stay Review
I've long dreamt of staying at the Atlantis Sanya, a fantastical landmark perched on Haitang Bay. Just catching a glimpse of its iconic ”Poseidon Tower” from afar instantly ignited my vacation excitement. This time, I finally took my family during the holidays, and not only did we immerse ourselves in the wondrous underwater world, but we were also incredibly touched by the super attentive service, making our entire stay truly blissful.
Upon entering the hotel, the first thing that caught my eye was the gigantic seahorse sculpture. Its dynamic form, coupled with dazzling lights, immediately created an immersive ocean-themed atmosphere. I couldn't resist pausing to snap several photos. Stepping further in, the lobby was even more stunning – a colossal aquarium teeming with colorful tropical fish, a dome adorned with blue lights resembling deep-sea reflections, and even the floor tiles subtly designed with wave patterns. Every snapshot felt like it belonged in a magazine. Right after checking in, we headed straight to the theater for the C Show. The aquatic stunts, aerial silks, and ocean-themed storyline on stage perfectly blended together, with dazzling lights and spectacular performances that captivated both adults and children, leaving everyone thoroughly thrilled.
Our ocean-view twin room was a real gem, offering double the surprise as soon as we opened the door: one side showcased the lively scene of roller coasters zipping through the Aquaventure Waterpark, while the other presented the calming vista where the azure sea merged with the skyline. Waking up to the sound of waves in the morning and watching the park lights illuminate the night sky in the evening was incredibly relaxing. The thoughtful details in the room were also heartwarming: children's toothbrushes and slippers were already laid out, the soft bedding was comfortable against the skin, a footstool was provided at the vanity for little ones, and complimentary sodas were supplied in the mini-fridge, restocked daily.
The entire hotel felt like a shopping mall, offering everything from dining and entertainment to shopping (Hainan specialties, Pop Mart, BaWangChaJi, ice cream, popcorn, and other shops). Guests staying at the hotel enjoyed unlimited access to the aquarium and waterpark. In ”The Lost Chambers” Aquarium, we wandered through underwater tunnels, watching sharks swim overhead, as if transported to a mysterious underwater kingdom. Although we didn't try the thrilling rides at the waterpark, feeding the stingrays and letting the children float down the lazy river multiple times were all incredibly enjoyable.
The hotel also gifted us 5 free travel photoshoots. After booking a time with the staff in advance, the photographer guided us through various poses, and the final results were outstanding. The staff member who helped us choose the photos was very helpful, offering suggestions when I was indecisive, and ultimately helped me select a cost-effective package.
Our butler, Ivy, was an absolute treasure. The day before our arrival, she proactively added me on WeChat, reminded me of the hotel's activity routes and the C Show schedule, and even presented us with a pair of adorable whale plushies as a welcome gift. My children adored them and kept asking for another pair. I hesitantly messaged Ivy, and to my surprise, she quickly delivered another pair. Throughout our stay, whether it was for information or room service, Ivy always responded instantly, truly acting as our dedicated and attentive personal butler.
The service from our room attendant, Li Chunmiao, was even more meticulous and touching. Every day when we returned from our outings, the room was spotless, the bed made perfectly, and even the children's scattered toys were neatly organized. She also thoughtfully gave us an extra pair of whale plushies. She specifically noticed that we were using chairs to block the bed, worried about the children falling off during sleep, so she proactively brought and installed a child bed rail, making sure it was stable before leaving.
While luxurious hardware is the foundation, it's the supremely thoughtful service that truly defines the soul of Atlantis. Many thanks to butler Ivy and room attendant Li Chunmiao for their dedicated efforts. Next time we visit Sanya, we will definitely choose to stay here again!

🌟 I was truly amazed by this luxury hotel in Haikou! 🏨 From the airport to the hotel, I had a hassle-free experience with a luxurious Mercedes-Benz business van transfer. The hotel offers complimentary pick-up and drop-off services for both Meilan Airport and the high-speed train station 🚗. As soon as I entered the room, I was impressed by the design; the view was fantastic, and the bed was incredibly comfortable 🌿. The breakfast was also super rich and perfectly balanced 🍲. The service was attentive, and the attention to detail was impeccable 👍. Next time I come to Haikou, I'll definitely stay here again! ✨✨

CChaohuaxishiThis hotel is absolutely worth a visit! I'd recommend booking two days because one day feels a bit rushed. It can take up to 15 minutes by buggy to get from the lobby to your room. It's more convenient to book a room near the Hai Kuo Tian Kong Thai restaurant (Peacock, Wild Goose, and a few other room types are in this area – I've forgotten some, but you can ask the front desk for exact details). This way, breakfast and dinner are close by. Otherwise, each trip out can take 20 minutes (including waiting for the buggy), which really eats into your time. The hotel also has an adorable petting zoo (I loved it!) with cats, alpacas, little pigs, and many other small animals that you can interact with for free. Finally, a big thank you to Manager Sun for her thoughtful service. She was always helpful and responded promptly and thoroughly every time I needed something or was coming and going!

MM15525****🌟 An excellent vacation experience, InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay truly lived up to expectations! 🌟
I recently stayed at the InterContinental Sanya Haitang Bay, and the overall experience far exceeded what I anticipated. My daughter's favorite part was riding her scooter in the lobby – it's so spacious that she insisted on going down to scoot around every night past 10 PM, hahahaha.
📍 **Perfect Location**
The hotel is ideally situated in the heart of Haitang Bay, directly facing the clear blue sea, and boasts a private, fine-sand beach. It's just a 5-minute stroll to the duty-free shop, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient.
🏨 **Design and Comfort Combined**
I was impressed from the moment I stepped into the lobby – we happened to be there for Christmas Eve and Christmas, and the towering Christmas tree 🎄 was truly stunning; my daughter's jaw practically dropped. The room itself was exceptionally large, with a high glass curtain wall framing the ocean view like a giant painting. The interplay of light and greenery made it feel like being in a tropical garden. The room was spacious and bright, and the balcony bathtub offered direct sea views. Soaking in the tub at night to the sound of the waves was incredibly therapeutic and restorative!
🤵 **Attentive Service**
From check-in to check-out, every staff member greeted us with a genuine smile. The butler service was exceptionally thorough, saving us a lot of hassle. They proactively asked about our needs, and housekeeping was quick to respond. They even noticed our preferred pillow firmness and thoughtfully provided extra pillows. These small details, like 'being remembered,' added so much warmth to our vacation. The pillows were a bit too high for my child, so we asked the front desk for a child-friendly pillow, which was very accommodating!
🍽️ **A Culinary Journey**
The breakfast was so abundant it felt like a gourmet tour, offering fresh squeezed juices, local specialty noodles, and rice dishes. The Chinese restaurant, Tianfu Ge, was very much to the liking of us northerners! And Mermaid Restaurant was my child's favorite!
👨👩👧 **Extremely Family-Friendly**
Although we were traveling as a couple this time, I observed that the hotel is very considerate of families: the kids' club offers a rich array of activities, the pool has a shallow area, and there's even a mini-train tour that goes directly to the beach, plus a huge lawn for leisurely walks.
💎 **A Few Pleasant Surprises**
* The mini-bar in the room is restocked daily for free – a thoughtful detail.
* The hotel gardens are picturesque at every turn, with high photo opportunities.
If Sanya is a vacation paradise, then InterContinental Haitang Bay is the corner of that paradise that understands you best. It offers both the luxury of a high-end hotel and the warmth of human care. I've already secretly marked it as a 'hotel I will definitely return to' ❤️
LLuoliyue92I recently stayed at the Shangri-La Sanya for 4 nights with my parents and child, and everyone absolutely loved it! This hotel is definitely a hidden gem for a family vacation.
📍 **Excellent Location:** It's super close to the beach, and some rooms even offer direct sea views. It's only a 10-minute drive to the Sanya International Duty-Free Shopping Complex, which is incredibly convenient for those who love to shop. Wuzhizhou Island pier is also not far, making it easy to hail a taxi.
🛏️ **Room Experience:** Since I was traveling with my parents and child, I opted for the Horizon Club. The Horizon Club offers access to an executive lounge with not only breakfast but also afternoon tea and dinner, which was incredibly convenient. The room itself was spacious and bright, and the balcony offered stunning sea views. The room was exceptionally clean and thoughtfully equipped with children's toiletries and a children's step stool. There's also a sofa bed in the room, which you can ask the butler to set up in advance – perfect for a family of four.
🍽️ **Satisfying Dining:** The main restaurant's breakfast spread was incredibly rich with a huge variety of options, including freshly squeezed watermelon and cantaloupe juice. To my surprise, there was even a dedicated kids' area! It offered not only dishes suitable for children like wontons, congee, pasta, steamed buns, and fried snacks, but also finely cut fruits and vegetables, showing great consideration for little ones. My child absolutely loved it.
The Horizon Club executive lounge was also fantastic. Besides afternoon tea, they have an evening happy hour with different hot dishes each day. They also offered non-spicy vegetable and meat dishes, as well as fried noodles and rice, suitable for children. Everything tasted great.
🎪 **Abundant Children's Activities:** There are tons of parent-child activities every day, along with unlimited free rides on the mini-train. We participated in a dragon fruit sushi-making class, which was a wonderful experience, and my child had an absolute blast.
The hotel also has an adventure zone, a petting zoo, and you can even ride ponies and ostriches, which the kids really enjoyed.
The water park is also large and clean. Unfortunately, it was a bit chilly when we visited, so we didn't go in, but it would be perfect for warmer weather.
💫 **Five-Star Service:** The hotel service was absolutely superb. Romy checked us in, and she was incredibly kind. She helped us resolve a breakfast issue and personally escorted us to the shuttle bus stop after check-in. Our luggage was also delivered directly to our room by a dedicated staff member – super nice.
This vacation was incredibly satisfying, and I will definitely choose Shangri-La again the next time I visit Sanya!
MM1ruk84q6****The service at your hotel was truly impressive. From the moment I stepped into the lobby and received a warm greeting, every detail showcased professionalism and dedication. The rooms were meticulously cleaned, the food was excellent, and the staff consistently had a smile on their faces, always ready to assist. Whether it was the thoughtful advice from the concierge or the prompt restocking by housekeeping, I highly recommend this hotel.

The open-plan design seamlessly integrates the mountain and sea views. Guest relations executive Youzi was online throughout my stay, proactively contacting me to arrange the room, answering all my questions during check-in, and even thoughtfully decorating the room. MM41081****The sea at Haitang Bay is indeed more beautiful than at Yalong Bay!
The hotel bed was very comfortable; this old-school five-star still holds up! My mom has some mobility issues, and the front desk arranged a room close to the elevator for us. The live singer at night was excellent! We even had the good fortune to be invited to a romantic wedding of a newlywed couple.
If I had to mention any downsides, the breakfast taste and variety were really quite subpar, and the elevators were incredibly slow!

SShunqizirandetuziDue to my limited time, I ultimately chose the Grand Hyatt among the many hotels in Haitang Bay, and it was my first stay here. Although my three-day trip was short, it left a lasting impression, and I now realize my choice of hotel was absolutely perfect.
First, when I booked, I specifically called to request the highest floor available for my room type. Upon arrival, the check-in took a bit longer, possibly due to a large number of guests in the afternoon. While speaking with the front desk, I learned I had been assigned a 12th-floor suite. They asked if I needed a travel photoshoot. I casually asked if I could exchange it for afternoon tea or cocktails instead, not really expecting much, but to my surprise, the front desk readily agreed to give me a bottle of red wine.
I was immediately struck by the breathtaking view as soon as I entered the room – a wide, unobstructed ocean view. The room was well-equipped and very comfortable. My butler, MAX, was incredibly thoughtful, sending a welcome message and hotel information, and he was always quick and accurate in responding to my questions.
The hotel's landscaping is also beautiful. If you don't feel like venturing out, you can simply stroll around the grounds, or take a pleasant walk by the sea. The breakfast is extensive, but it can get quite crowded during peak hours; an alternative is the smaller restaurant in the North Tower. The 68 Food Street, right next to the hotel, is also worth a visit. After hearing my suggestions and feedback on my stay, the hotel even arranged a car to take me to the high-speed train station, which was a very thoughtful touch.
