Our 3-day stay in Lhasa was absolutely fantastic, especially traveling with my mom. The hotel's convenience, cleanliness, and excellent service really made our mother-daughter trip much more harmonious.
- The location is incredibly convenient. It's about 1.5 kilometers to Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, and photo shoot spots, all easily walkable. We explored Lhasa entirely on foot during our stay.
- They were well-prepared for altitude sickness. The room has an oxygen concentrator that can be used for diffusion or nasal cannula. On the first night, I foolishly took a shower and felt nauseous and dizzy in the middle of the night, doubting my existence. The butler came to help me with the oxygen concentrator in the middle of the night, and I finally got two hours of sleep after using oxygen until dawn. I searched for altitude sickness on Xiaohongshu, feeling like I was on the verge of needing a hospital. The front desk on the second floor has a pulse oximeter, and I felt relieved after seeing my reading was in the 80s.
- I can't praise the butlers and front desk enough; their service was perfect! It wasn't the fake kind of luxury service you often find, but genuinely thoughtful and comfortable.
- The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the Potala Palace, making breakfast a delightful experience.

Our family of three was absolutely delighted with the triple room! It was incredibly spacious – we could spread out all three large suitcases and still have plenty of room to move around. The best part was the fantastic natural light; the big windows made the whole room bright and airy, instantly lifting our spirits. The humidifier in the room was a lifesaver at this altitude; we slept soundly without any dryness. The electric kettle heated water quickly, and we really appreciated the thoughtful touch of six complimentary bottles of mineral water! The mini-fridge was also very convenient for keeping our fruits and yogurt chilled.
What truly amazed us was the hand-painted ceiling – auspicious Eight Buddhist Symbols, personally painted by a ******* artist. The colors were vibrant and brought a sense of good fortune. Waking up every day to such beautiful art made us feel incredibly blessed. These details really show how much care the hotel puts into its guests, balancing modern comfort with an authentic ******* cultural atmosphere. We had such a comfortable stay and highly recommend it to families traveling together!

I stayed at this hotel in Lhasa for several consecutive nights! What I loved most was the super spacious Tibetan-style courtyard on the first floor. I was absolutely mesmerized the moment I walked in! You can dine, enjoy sweet tea, afternoon tea, pet cats… In short, it’s perfect for leisurely spending time in Lhasa.
The hotel is right on the Barkhor Street kora path, just a 3-minute walk to Jokhang Temple! I heard this used to be the Nepalese Consulate 400 years ago, and now it's the Gesar Japo Museum! Carvings, murals, and antique objects are everywhere. Exploring this heritage-listed ******* ancient building truly feels like stepping back in time.
Upon check-in, there's a traditional Hada presentation. The staff are so warm and helpful, even assisting with luggage. They also offer complimentary ******* traditional clothing for photos. In the room, there's a special high-altitude welcome kit: facial masks, hair essential oil, makeup remover wipes, and more… so thoughtful for female guests! The hotel offers a self-service breakfast. It's a tranquil oasis amidst the hustle and bustle, truly a master of creating a wonderful atmosphere! 🏡
This hotel deserves all the praise! The moment we stepped into the parking lot, we were greeted by that signature scent of a five-star hotel. As soon as we entered, the authentic ******* decor immediately immersed us in a wonderful atmosphere.
The front desk staff were incredibly efficient with check-in, and they even upgraded our room for free! While we waited, we sipped on rhodiola tea and enjoyed a welcome dance – it was an amazing experience.
The room design was thoughtful, the amenities were high-end, and every little detail exuded quality.
This is the first hidden gem of a hotel that has made us fall in love with an entire city just because of our stay there!

This was my first time in Lhasa with three elderly family members. The hotel's facilities were quite complete, and although it's a bit older, it's well-maintained. The service was warm and friendly, and we were very satisfied with our stay. When we arrived, the staff at the entrance proactively helped us with our luggage. Yesterday, one of the seniors experienced some altitude sickness, and when we returned to the hotel, the front desk attendant kindly provided an oxygen tank, which effectively alleviated their symptoms. I was so busy looking after them that I forgot to take any pictures of the hotel.

This was my first trip to Lhasa, and I chose the Even Hotels family room. The room was spacious, very new, clean, and had a diffuse oxygen supply, which helped us acclimate smoothly during our first night. The front desk and room service staff were all very professional and dedicated, patiently answering all our questions. At 11 PM, they promptly brought us nasal cannulas and an oximeter. The security staff at the parking lot and entrance were also very friendly and helpful, truly making us feel at home. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of options. The hotel's location is also great, making it convenient for getting around. I will definitely recommend this hotel to any friends planning a trip to Lhasa. It's a perfect hotel, a real hidden gem!

Facilities: This was the only guesthouse I stayed at in Lhasa. The room had no unpleasant odors, no dampness, and no cigarette smoke. The downstairs decor was also nice, and the overall facilities felt very new! (However, the fireplace wasn't working; I really wanted to light some firewood for a photo, what a pity!) There was a bathtub, and heaven knows how wonderful it is to take a bath after a long drive—it's so necessary! The hairdryer was a Dyson, and the toiletries were individually packaged and smelled amazing! I absolutely loved the body lotion!
Cleanliness: Good. I checked the bedding, and it was all very good!
Environment: The interior is just a small courtyard, but there's a gate that can be closed, so it's quite safe at night! The rooms don't have any views; you can only see the Rainbow Courtyard. None of the rooms have a view of the Potala Palace, perhaps due to the location…
Service: Excellent! Everything was responded to very quickly! The staff helped us with our luggage; we bought a lot of things towards the end of the trip, thank you! They also provided some local restaurant recommendations.
The tip is that when we checked in, they gave us two complimentary drinks at the guesthouse bar downstairs, but no one reminded us (or maybe they did remind me and I forgot, only noticing when we left), so we went out for a drink. When we came back, we checked out the bar downstairs, and the ambiance and atmosphere were quite nice! They should have reminded us!!
The breakfast was amazing! Much better than that five-star hotel! The staff were very attentive, clearing and returning our plates promptly. The rice noodles were incredibly delicious; I ate so much by myself… The yak yogurt had a strong flavor, and it tasted very authentic! In short, it was really delicious!!!

Hotel location is very core, two minutes from Barkhor Street. The room was clean and the bedding was good. The boss service is sincere and caring, and he is a hotel person. The fly in the ointment is that there is no parking lot, but all hotels in the ancient city are like this. The luggage will be picked up at the intersection and the hotel will send someone to pick it up without dragging it. The highlight is that there is public space on the first floor, the second floor, and the fourth floor can also see the Jokhang Temple of the Potala Palace. The top floor can also see the sun... There is a Tibetan living room in the suite, and there is a bay window to put a small tea mat. Qiran Hotel is still very cost-effective.

The hotel offers high-quality centralized diffused oxygen for 18 hours. The Thangka murals and frescoes are so well-maintained they look brand new, preserving a rich ethnic charm. The solid wood furniture and exquisite ******* decorations complement each other perfectly, showing meticulous attention to detail in every corner. The hotel is incredibly well-prepared for the plateau climate; not only do the rooms have 18-hour diffused oxygen, but also humidifiers and constant temperature underfloor heating. I didn't have to worry about altitude sickness or dryness at all, and I slept soundly every night in Lhasa.
The service was simply impeccable. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, offering thoughtful advice on high-altitude travel during check-in and serving warm Rhodiola tea. The hotel also provides a complimentary ******* clothing experience and professional photography service. In the charming Tibetan-style courtyard, every photo turns out like a masterpiece. On Tuesday afternoons, you can even join 'A-Jia' (******* elder sister) to experience making 'tsampa' (a ******* staple food), which is a truly memorable activity.

The hotel has a very stylish ambiance and looks genuinely new, with a pleasant fragrance. The room facilities are comprehensive, and the oxygen supply is excellent. Every evening, we received complimentary drinks and fruit, and the breakfast was quite good. We also tried the special wellness therapies, which were very relaxing and worth experiencing. Overall, it was a great stay. The complimentary hat in the room was perfect for travel photos, and they even stored our ordered cake in the fridge. The only minor issue was that the therapy clothes provided in the room included a ridiculously small size for the bottom, which I couldn't wear at all, haha.

Outstanding
Nice hotel. gentle staff. Good chinese excellent. Good spaghetti bolognese and salads.
The hotel is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. Rooms feature a 24-hour oxygen supply, with quiet wall-mounted diffusers or nasal cannulas available, and the system is virtually silent. The rooms themselves are clean, featuring smart toilets and automatic curtains. There's a self-service laundry room equipped with dryers. The hotel has a large parking lot and its location is convenient for transportation. Additionally, there's a viewing deck with a great view of the Potala Palace. Our butler, Zaxi, was outstanding, incredibly thoughtful, and responsive to our every need. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.
Very good hotel, can view the famous Potala palace from bar and certain room. Delicious breakfast and more variety to be selected from restaurant and highly recommended dining in their Chinese restaurant, there serve so yummy goose liver
This is by a long way the best hotel I have stayed in , in Tibet. Love the ”Manor” feel, at the same time homely. The rose garden which decorates Lakari cafe ia a lovely place to eat, relax, wind down. Food & service excellent. There are in addition two other restaurant on site, serving authentic Chinese & Tibetian food, yum. DURING a qord in the garden, I notice birds churping and hunting worms on the lawn ! Rooms takes on a modern Tibetian style, everything works & impeccably clean. Staff are v warm, helpful, even helped w my washing, offered to show me around on her day off. A most enjoyable stay. Tops all otherss I have stayed in Tibet.
Beautiful hotel that still preserves its historical architecture with modern luxuries. We enjoyed the heated floor (it's so comfortable to walk around) and the oxygen machine (a lifesaver when we just reached Lhasa!). Special thanks to Guest Service staff - 次塔 for coordinating breakfast and housekeeping with us throughout our stay, and for helping to safekeep our forgotten item when we checked out! Her warm hospitality helped us ease into the high altitude environment more easily! Oh and don't forget to try the Indian restaurant within the hotel - it's extremely delicious and the price is affordable! We hope to return soon!
First, the location: when visiting Lhasa, I highly recommend staying on Yutuo Road. The Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple are both about a 10-minute walk away. Yifei Hotel is conveniently located on Yutuo Road, making it easy to get around. There are plenty of restaurants, shopping, and other attractions nearby. The rooms are quiet. Although the hotel is quite large, it's not noisy, which reflects the efficiency and professionalism of the hotel management team. I also stayed at the Shangri-La Hotel during my trip to Lhasa. Personally, I prefer the more down-to-earth style and atmosphere of this hotel compared to its impersonal management style. Overall, it was very good. The breakfast selection was plentiful, and the hotel responded quickly to any issues. The room window offers a view of the Potala Palace.
It was such a pleasant stay! The entire hotel has beautiful interiors, the room was spotless, oxygen worked perfectly, and the view from the 8th floor was gorgeous. All of the staff were extremely helpful to me, a non-Chinese speaker with translation apps and did their best to make my stay comfortable. Will definitely recommend it to everyone who’s planning to visit Lhasa.
