It’s definitely a 5 star hotel experience, the staffs at the reception is very helpful and professional.
There’s a petite yet posh boutique located at the lobby, traditional Japanese restaurant, western cuisine and Chinese restaurant with standard, yet the price is reasonable.
Although the double bed room is a little bit small, but mattress is comfortable, toilet amenities are with “full Japanese standard” ;)
The location is great, with family-mart, 7-11 and some little restaurants surrounding around. There’s even a local wet market around the corner, local shopping malls with affordable price. As it’s nearby the Sendai station, it’s convenient to go Tokyo or other prefecture, this city center is amazing and filled up with all branded name chain stores.
Facilities: Excellent, right below Sendai Station with all the shops and restaurants you could ask for.
Cleanliness: Clean, though there isn't much of a view, just a parking lot outside.
Environment: Decent.
Service: Good, the front desk speaks English, and check-in was smooth.
I stayed at this hotel due to a foot injury. I originally thought I could eat all three meals – breakfast, lunch, and dinner – at the hotel since they have three restaurants. Breakfast was abundant, and the semi-buffet lunch was reasonably priced. However, I was a bit disappointed that for dinner, the only option was some food at the 14th-floor bar. When checking out, the front desk helped me call a taxi to the airport for 6000 JPY, but the meter showed 6800 JPY upon arrival at the airport, so I saved 800 JPY. Thumbs up for that!
We booked one room on the first day it seemed like a Japanese bathroom that the floor is wet Probably not renovated yet The next day we got the room with modern bathroom
Our stay was pleasant the rooms were clean Thanks to google translate that even the front reception was not quite fluent in English we could communicate very well Very convenient location Right next to the main train station a lot of restaurants to choose from also next to the shopping mall There is a fish market nearby but most of the fish is for your own cooking Can not buy fresh sashimi there There is a seafood restaurant close to the market
This hotel is perfect in every way. The view is excellent. Matsushima Coast, one of the three most beautiful views in Japan, is well-deserved. Sitting in the room, you can enjoy the beautiful view. The cuisine is impeccable, the small details are amazing, and the open-air hot spring makes the stay experience even better.
The lobby was spacious to chill and nice, especially when the in-house pianist played some soothing classical. My room was decently cosy. My bed was a combined layout of 2 single beds, though one mattress was slumping low overworn out on its spring, while the other was firm. Felt kinda weird sleeping in the centre, which I usually do, with the gap and unevenness. Service was excellent and attentive. Kind assistance from front desk Loida, helping me to translate conveying a request I wanted to put across for my next hotel stop. There is a public bath on the 16th floor, nice and clean. Elevator is kinda slow though. Location is under 10mins walk from Sendai JR station, on a quiet stretch away from the bustling shopping area.
I really like this hotel. The details are very well done. It is very close to the airport and Meitianyuan subway station, and there is a Family Mart next to it. There is a welcome bar after check-in, and drinks such as water and juice are provided. The bath towel is more hygienic and comes with a clean plastic bag. There are even pillows of different heights to choose from. Various toiletries are provided. Although there are not many choices for breakfast, they are all delicious and of good quality. I feel that the water quality of the hot spring is better than the baths I took in Hokkaido. I can feel the flow of water. Although the pool is small, it is more comfortable than other hotels. Various reminders are well done, and the equipment is quite new. Anyway, I am quite satisfied. If I have the opportunity next time, I will choose again.

Unexpectedly grand hotel, especially when you first walk in the front entrance. Very traditional hotel with great service, remember to book your free transport to and from the Sendai train station. The hot spring experience is as expected - comfortable, cozy, clean and relaxing. Highly recommended. The included Dinner and breakfast buffets are great and aside from the typical western food, it served up some local delicacies which were really nice and authentic. Highly recommended place for anyone looking at a day or two to unwind and relax.
I heard this was the best hotel in Sendai when I booked it, and I certainly wasn't disappointed. The rooms are spacious, the views are great, the service is excellent, and the restaurant offers both delicious food and stunning scenery!
The location is superb, just a ten-minute walk from Sendai Station. You can easily walk to places like Tohoku University (the former site of Sendai Medical College) and Zuihoden Temple.
The single room is quite big, but the bathroom is very small. Fortunately, we are all taking a hot spring bath, so we can barely get by without taking a shower. It is a very old hotel. It can be seen that it is a bit old, but it is well maintained. It feels that most of the guests staying in the hotel are Japanese who come for the weekend. There are free drinks in the lobby, and there are also take-out cups.
The location is on the seaside and very close to the attractions. You can call to book a bus from the station to the hotel, which goes to Matsushima Coast and Matsushima Station. It seems that it is not written on the website. I found it when I was bored and looked through the explanations in the room. In fact, it is not long to walk from Matsushima Coast Station.
The hot spring is good, facing the sea, and you can see the sea indoors and outdoors. Going to soak at off-peak times is equivalent to booking the whole place, which is very comfortable.
We booked dinner and breakfast. The breakfast is well received, with special dishes from all over Miyagi Prefecture, and they all taste good. Dinner is hard to describe, semi-self-service, the appetizer sashimi and the main course of three choices are all normal, there are many self-service dishes, and the taste is not very good, the unlimited tempura is delicious, and the cod milt is especially good. However, there were also unlimited beef tongue and pork chops. Of the two beef tongues, one was so tough that I couldn't chew it at all, so I spit it out. The pork chops tasted good, but there was too much fat and meat, so I ate half and spit out the other half. The best thing about dinner was the dessert and fruit.
