The island is beatiful and the resort is pretty much everything you should want. Rooms were spacious, and well equipped. The service and the staff is very good and friendly too. The only thing maybe worth mentioning is that there only one restaurant where you can eat when you do all inclusive/full board (Sea Breeze) which can get quite hot as it’s not a closed area, meaning no aircon. The remaining 3 restaurants are not included and are charged separately.

The hotel has a great location, right across from where you disembark, making it very convenient for boat trips. There are many entertainment options nearby, and the prices are reasonable. The buffet selection is limited, so I recommend ordering à la carte. They even deliver to your room. The hotel has daily housekeeping, so the service is decent. I mainly chose it because it's clean and new.

The room was decent for 400 yuan, clean and hygienic. I wasn't given an upgrade on the second day. Check-in was at 1:30 PM. The front desk staff, 'Xiao Hei', was inefficient. Breakfast was okay, taste-wise. For 400 yuan, it would be great if they had bikes available. The AC was nice and cool.

I want to leave a review about my stay at the Holiday Home Dhiffushi guest house in December 2024. I stayed for 7 days, it was very cozy, a small 2-storey building with a veranda for breakfast. The guys are great, they try their best to please, they offer a choice of breakfast: toast, scrambled eggs with tuna and sausage, or a Maldivian breakfast. I often chose the Maldivian one, these are flatbreads, coconut with tuna, beans in sauce. Coffee or juice. You can safely write to the director of Itu, he will help with everything, a very kind and helpful young man. If you want to save a little compared to other hotels on the island, then feel free to choose this guest house, a wonderful location, close to a deep beach, peace and quiet, you will definitely be satisfied. Upon request, they provide a sun lounger and an umbrella to the beach. Water is included 1.5 liters per person. The beds are comfortable, the linen is snow-white and soft. The furniture is new. Thanks to Itu and his team. I hope to come to you again 🫶

The hotel is located close to the airport, 10 minutes by boat, the megalopolis of Male is visible, so I felt like I was on an island in Abu Dhabu. Villas overlook another island and the ocean. The rooms in the building are tired - 3 stars. The shampoo and gel in the room were of low quality and differed from the assortment of the villa. When you fly with hand luggage, it is important to have high-quality cosmetics in the hotel. Is it really necessary to save on this? The air conditioner in the room did not turn off at all and was noisy, so I slept in earplugs. The weather was rainy and stormy, so all the minuses of the hotel crawled out. Firstly, the restaurant, bar and lobby are not cozy, without much design. Secondly, there was INSTANT coffee for breakfast. Espresso or cappuccino for breakfast were only for an additional fee. Thirdly, the full board food was not at all pleasing. Every day there was the same dry fish. Seafood - frozen and tasteless. Meat and chicken are ok. All fruits and vegetables are unripe, tasteless and of low quality. Sometimes there were dishes with tasty sauce. Fourthly, the reefs in the ocean are nothing special, there is no variety of fish. On the plus side - it is ok to go in and swim in the ocean, the hotel is quiet.

It was our first time in the Maldives, but we had been to many places before. We really liked the hotel and here's why: Excellent location - a beautiful small island surrounded by greenery, 45 from the airport by boat Super service - cleaning 2 times a day, very clean and everyone is ready to help you Food - also wonderful and varied, we had more than enough breakfast/dinner What surprised us most was that at the hotel pier we met: many sharks, a large stingray, a moray eel, a turtle, an octopus and you don't need to go anywhere for this! Although you can go snorkeling every day for free, where they showed us turtles and sharks every time, some other one, not the one at the pier. It's better to take a mask/fins/snorkel with you, otherwise rent - 7 dollars a day only for a mask, we had our own. As for the rooms/houses -; they are slightly different, we asked to change them upon check-in, they changed them for us. We had room 374, I think the best in its category, a house on the water - an acquired taste. As a result, a super week of vacation for very reasonable money! Reality exceeded expectations!)

I really had a fantastic stay at the resort. The staff were super friendly and went that extra mile to make you feel comfortable. The amenities were enough to keep up entertained and the excursions weren’t too expensive either. I must mention, they had a fantastic local band on the Friday named “the Prizem”, loved em. The water surrounding the resort is beautiful and clear, however, sadly the coral was mostly dead. Also, one bit of advice. It’s definitely worth spending that little bit extra to go All inclusive, like myself. The meals and drinks are on the high side and you won’t regret going AI, trust me. Overall it’s a great little resort for a great price for what I paid.

Location is very close to Male and free transfer is a nice touch. Good Balinese style villa with new facilities, great bathroom with outdoor shower and bath. Nice breakfast and dinner buffet, not many options, but they have everything you need. Many drinks included. A lot of greenery and trees on the island, many lizards, herons, bats. That’s great. And a lot of shade, great for walking. Small coral reefs very close to the beach, so anyone not good at snorkelling can see the fish. The hotel is very close to Male, a bit too close actually. It’s very popular among locals and Indians, so it’s kind of crowded. The hotel only have 2 beaches (not big actually) and if there are kids at the resort, the beach will be really noisy. You will not have complete Maldivian sense while staying at this resort. It’s good, the sea is still beautiful, but there might be some trash in the water. You will hear every single airplane and seaplane coming to Male. It’s not quite what you expect from Maldives. Water sports are very poor - not much options, not many snorkelling tours. Many facilities were broken or not available during our stay. Bicycles are very expensive! Normally the bikes like that ( not the best quality actually) shall be complimentary for all guests. Reception staff is not very talkative. They are kind of invisible. Although welcome staff was very nice and friendly. Anyway, it’s great resort for 1-2 nights before or after your stay at some other remote island.

GGuest UserThis was my first time in the Maldives, and I chose this resort. Surprisingly, it had been raining heavily for several days before we arrived, but the weather turned exceptionally nice right when we got there—sunny every day. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly; they would always stop to greet us whenever we passed by. The young hostess (likely the restaurant manager) and some servers in the dining room remembered our room number. The shuttle cart staff (not sure if his name was Jasper), Raj from housekeeping (who’s from Nepal), and our host Mariyam were all wonderful—they kept asking if there was anything they could do to help. The Filipino staff member who performed the fire show, as well as the teams at the sports center and water activities, were also incredibly kind and professional. Meals were included in the package, while water sports required extra payment. The spa was excellent: two Indonesian ladies gave my husband and me massages, and the ambiance and service were very comfortable. Overall, it was a highly satisfying experience, with the exception of one significant issue on our departure day. During the final breakfast, the fish curry served was noticeably off—it had a strong, unpleasant odor. Unfortunately, after taking just one bite, it led to severe food poisoning. I became violently ill on the flight, vomiting repeatedly, and the sickness persisted hourly even after landing. This incident greatly marred the end of our otherwise wonderful stay. I sincerely hope you can address and improve your food safety and hygiene standards to prevent other guests from having a similar experience.

AAnnalisaKFrom start to finish our experience at the Oblu Sangeli was incredible. It was our first time visiting the Maldives and it was everything we could have wished for and more. We stayed in the water villa and it did not disappoint. The room was beautiful and the access to the lagoon was amazing. It was great for snorkelling and had plenty of corals where we saw baby sharks, manta rays and lots of colourful fish! We embarked on the turtle snorkelling trip and saw many turtles which was wonderful! The buffet was great and we appreciated that they changed the dishes every day so you had a variety to choose from. A huge thanks to Chef Rahul who not only made excellent Indian food for us, but also became a good friend and was always so kind to us. Another big thanks to the waiter, Yathrib, who was so friendly and attentive to us and gave excellent service. This really made our experience even better. We also really enjoyed the fine dining experiences included in the Serenity plan. Both restaurants (just grill & just wok) served delicious food and a nice view of the sunset. A highlight for us was the pool as it was right next to the ocean and the view was incredible. We loved the slide leading into the ocean, that was a vey unique touch for the hotel and lots of fun at the pool party too and recommend you throw a pool party a couple times a week as it was great! We really enjoyed the live entertainment in the evenings and especially loved listening to Dee & Jay singing so beautifully! A highlight for us was definitely the excellent service from the staff. From the first day we could see that they were genuinely nice people and took pride in their job. A special shout out to the Sangs bar staff who were always kind and friendly to us. They made our experience better by just being genuinely nice people and their service was excellent! A big thanks to Pradeep and Lahiru who lead the team and always greeted us with a smile and made us feel at home. A huge thanks to Ibrahim and Madheeh who made us laugh everyday and gave brilliant service. You made our experience even better by just meeting you all. We will definitely return to the hotel in the future as it was the best holiday we've ever had! The Maldives is really paradise on earth! Don't think twice about booking to stay at this hotel because it's perfect!

GGuest UserThe water house we stayed in had a swimming pool. The room was big and there was a beautiful sea view on the balcony. From the moment we left the airport, the guy who picked us up, the guy on the speedboat, and the guy who sent us off really provided excellent service. When we arrived at the hotel pier, the management staff led the service staff to warmly welcome us on the island. When we left, they waved goodbye at the pier until they disappeared into the vast ocean... My English is not good, but I met Bonan, a girl from Baoji, China, on the island. She enthusiastically and proactively provided us with high-quality service, introduced us to information about the island, took our orders, booked boats, and delivered things to our room over and over again on hot days. When the room cleaner didn't clean for us, change towels, take out the trash, or deliver mineral water, she personally went to the room to serve us... I don't know why the room cleaner didn't serve us. I turned over the sign for room cleaning twice, but found it was turned back when I returned to the room. The room was still not cleaned. I don't know if I didn't tip the night I came. I didn't have change that day, so I went to the front desk to change change after dinner. However, there was no room service from the second to the third night. It was not until I told Bonan that the bathroom trash can was full and the mineral water was finished that Bonan came to the bathroom to watch over it, and then they started cleaning. I chose this hotel because they have a high score of 4.9. To be honest, all the services and details of the hotel are very good, but the behavior of the room boy really makes me feel that he is holding the hotel back and letting the chain down. I hope the hotel will strengthen its management so that all tourists who come to the beautiful Baros Island can return happily...

LLLJJuuAfter a trip to a local island, we came here to relax for two days. I wanted a lagoon-facing room, but the hotel initially told me they had upgraded me to an ocean-facing one. After a bit of back-and-forth, they quickly gave me a lagoon-view overwater villa. The room wasn't huge but was perfectly adequate, and the scenery was absolutely stunning. The buggies arrived very quickly. For breakfast, everything except the noodles was pretty subpar; the taste just wasn't to my liking. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the abundance of fish around the reef, and there were some corals too. Diving down, I even spotted a moray eel and an eagle ray. The staff were all very friendly and greeted us proactively. Overall, it exceeded my expectations and offered good value for money.

GGuest UserThe room is not big but it is enough for a family. The island is small and snorkeling is really good. You can see many beautiful small fish not far from the shore. Unfortunately, I didn't find a turtle, but there are people around, so the chance is still very high. Finally, let me talk about the service. It can be said that it changed my impression of Banyan Tree. I have stayed in several Banyan Trees in China, and there are always various dissatisfactions. If it weren't for the shadow of taking a seaplane, and I wanted to snorkel, I might not choose Banyan Tree again. But this so-called low-profile version is really not inferior to any Banyan Tree with high-end decoration. Everyone has a lively eye and will provide enthusiastic service. Even many service staff know the room number of each guest. But I casually said that I came to celebrate my anniversary, so I decorated the room and sent desserts. When leaving the island, a row of employees waved goodbye, and the boat was still waving far away, which was very touching. I hope to see turtles when I come back next time, which is also a reason for myself.

AAndy pezLovely place and fantastic staff and food. However, on the downside, everything is overpriced, and they do try to up sell everything from food and experiences. We stayed in the water jacuzzi villas at the north of the island and ate in the adult only restaurant, which was fantastic. The food was good and the staff were lovely. Have Ali cook your complete in the morning. He's a real fun guy. On the excursions. The good and the bad and the total miss advertising of them. Sunset Punch Cruise is a joke. The punch is fruit punch, no alcohol. The advert gives you a sense of a party theme trip. It's not, and you just get a glass of punch at the beginning of the trip. Overpriced. Saw dolphins and a nice sunset. Shark Snorkelling disappointing 😞 overpriced and felt like being in an aquarium and not in the wild. Spent an hour on the boat to end up at an abandoned harbour with viewing platforms, and that's where you swim. Hit and miss with sharks. Traditional Dhoni Sailing Boat. Peaceful and lovely experience. 3 staff manned the boat, and we sat there enjoying the peace and quiet and the sun. We were very lucky and saw Sting Ray, Manta Ray, and turtles in our 1 hour experience. Excellent experience. Adventure Snorkelling was far the best experience and worth the money, which is dependent on the number of people doing the experience. Our guide was excellent and well versed in the reefs and wildlife around. A great half day adventure. Overall a get place to visit but expensive and overpriced in its extras.

GGuest UserWe arrived to this little piece of paradise only expecting a short visit but due to the pandemic we ended up extending. The island is stunning and as its a new resort you can see that once the plantation takes hold it will be even more beautiful. The reef is really clean, the corals considering the bleaching has been bad in the Maldives is the best we have been too in the area and there is plenty of sealife and the snorkelling very easy. The spa is wonderful and all the staff charming. You can do yoga 3 times a week and Erma the teacher was lovely. The all inc package is great and you can eat and drink as you wish throughout your stay. The bartenders and waiters so very good and make the best cocktails. Rohan the food and beverage manager is fantastic at his job and runs an excellent tight ship. There are so many people to say thank you too that the list would be too long. The three girls Devla, Bee and Sandu were so accommodating to myself and my son. You have a choice to eat A la carte or buffet and also to go to another restaurant called Keon where the stand out food was made by chef Susika. One of the waiters ‘slow:)’ made us wonderful gifts and we were basically spoilt rotten from beginning to end. The general manager is fabulous too and always went out of his way to help. Would I go recommend or go back here? Absolutely in a flash it made memories.
