Excellence service, provide shuttle for morning visit to nearby markets. Walking distance to city, shopping and locals spots. Provide a cakes surprise for birthday celebration. Love their toiletries. A very comfortable hotel, will be our preferred return hotel. Wonderful view top infinite pool, skylift parking and excellent polite staffs. Provide reminder for checkout and call us to check if we are doing good and need any service. Great experience, highly recommended. Small yet nice windy skybar

Indicated for birthday celebration, ignored remark, no service or extra wow service. Requested for bouquet to deliver to room upon receive, reception keep it till evening until we call to request and reception request guard to deliver to us. Overall hotel grade conventional hospitality. No wow service or beach grade 4 stars feel. Parking need to walk very far to next building of you reach on weekend and if there is event. Noisy and dirty beach due to abandoned wood branches and no maintenance

Pros: Great location – very convenient, with plenty of restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. The hotel has a stylish design and the rooms are spacious. Cons: Unfortunately, the room did not appear very clean. The bedding and towels are very old and outdated – they should have been replaced a long time ago. No lockers at swimming pool. Overall / Personal opinion: The location and design are strong points, but the poor cleanliness and outdated linens really let really let the experience down.

I have upgrade my room to 1bedroom suite. My family and I love the room. My kids enjoy the bathtub. Hotel location is good too as it is near to the airport. It only cost me about RM14 by taking grab from hotel to airport. Will definitely book again..

Our experience at this hotel was great. The rooms were comfortable, the environment was clean, and the service was good. Most importantly, all of my family members enjoyed the stay and felt relaxed and happy throughout our time here. It was a memorable family trip, and we would gladly recommend this hotel to others.

everything is ok.. the breakfast food is delicious while eating you can see the sea.. the view is beautiful.. the location is good.. the beach is close to the hotel.. only the cleanliness is a little lacking in the room.. the bed sheet is dirty but a little.. the worst thing is the smell of the pillow is a bit less pleasant.. hope the hotel can make improvements

Location : This location is very superb. The seaview was astonishing. Food stalls are everywhere nearby. Services : Arrived late night to check in. The receptionist is not that helpful and not explaining much. Got some issues with breakfast where my room suddenly not breakfast included while we paid together for it when booking. Try to explain to the Indian F&B manager but at first he refuse to trust me and ask me to go to lobby. Thanks to Mr Vincent he sincerely apologise for the misunderstanding from the system. To the Indian F&B manager, you need to learn to apologise sincerely from Mr Vincent and learn some manners as I heard you talk bad about other customers as well. Food : Not much choice but the food was good. Overall, will be coming back in the future and I wish the services will be a lot better. TQ

Although the rooms at this hotel aren't huge, they are clean, tidy, and comfortable, with excellent facilities. We had a fantastic experience. We arrived early in the morning (check-in was officially at 2 PM), but we were able to check in smoothly and were even offered complimentary chilled juice by the front desk, which was a lovely touch. It's definitely worth coming back. What I miss most is the durian in Penang – it was absolutely amazing!

Perfect location, its easy to walk to the old town from the hotel , and its easy to get a grab bike. The room is very comfortable and clean!

We stayed in G Hotel Kelawai for 5 nights. The hotel is between two shopping malls - Gurney Plaza and Gurney Paragon. Excellent location. Another hotel nearby (about 400m) is G Hotel Gurney. Both the hotels' guests are given the option to use each other's facilities and guests are given the flexibility to have their breakfast at either hotel without any advanced notice. By the way, G Hotel Gurney is the older hotel and is directly connected to Gurney Plaza, whereas G Hotel Kelawai is less crowded and quieter, which we liked. The breakfast variety is acceptable for guests who are on a short stay. Out of curiosity, we wanted to try out the breakfast at G Hotel Gurney but were prevented from doing so because of the heavy rain. Upon request, hotel guests can commute between the two by the hotels' buggy. The 25-m swimming pool and gym in Kelawai were hardly used. Clean and well-maintained rooms.
