The hygiene, facilities, and service were all excellent. My room had a huge floor-to-ceiling window offering a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island. The hotel provides a complimentary gym, swimming pool, and a billiard table. Breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the dinner buffet was also very good.

The hotel's garden is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere is quiet and elegant, offering a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. It's incredibly relaxing to just be there. The location is also excellent; it's very convenient for dining out and shopping. The soundproofing in the rooms is great, so it's very quiet at night, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. Breakfast is exquisitely presented, making for a truly ceremonial dining experience. But what truly stands out is the service! When we arrived, it was raining, and the reception staff immediately came over to help us with umbrellas, getting themselves wet in the process – it was incredibly thoughtful. Such a warm and attentive hotel is a rare find; every detail makes you feel secure and comfortable. Whether for a trip, a vacation, or just a relaxing short stay, this place is absolutely perfect. I will definitely be back!

The room was great, and the toiletries were excellent! The breakfast was bountiful, and the service was attentive. Since I was on a business trip, I requested a one-hour late checkout, which the hotel kindly granted for free. I particularly appreciated being able to choose the firmness of the bedding, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, including a barbershop, swimming pool, gym, and massage room, making it perfect for both business travelers and tourists.

The room was spacious and new. For a city hotel, a room this size offers great value for money, unlike other hotels with tiny rooms. There's also free parking, and the service was excellent and flexible. They always considered things from the guest's perspective and promptly resolved any issues. Highly commendable!

An absolutely fantastic experience!! A classic five-star hotel. **Facilities:** They're a tiny bit dated, and I'm not a huge fan of the protruding sink design in the king room, but it is quite novel. **Cleanliness:** No issues with hygiene whatsoever, you can sleep soundly and without a worry. **Service:** Unfortunately, the hotel's food delivery robot was out of order on the day we checked in, and the Wi-Fi was a little bit spotty. Otherwise, no complaints. I have to rave about the breakfast!! You can customize your own Shacha noodles! There's an amazing selection of seafood to choose from!! And super delicious mangoes among the fruits!!! Next time I'm in Xiamen, I'll definitely choose this place again!!

It truly lives up to its reputation as a benchmark five-star hotel in Fuzhou, with impeccable hardware and service. I particularly want to give a personal commendation to Ms. Cynthia, the lobby manager, whose warm service genuinely enhanced my entire stay! The hotel boasts an excellent location right in the heart of the city. What impressed me most, though, was the service. I felt completely at home and cared for throughout my stay, especially thanks to Cynthia from guest services, who was both professional and thoughtful. Before check-in, she proactively communicated with me to understand my needs and arranged the room perfectly. During check-in, she was enthusiastic, thorough, and patient, taking the initiative to introduce the hotel facilities and provide tips for exploring Fuzhou. Throughout my stay, she consistently checked in on my experience, promptly responded to all my requests, thoughtfully replenished amenities, and even brought special tea and snacks. She even remembered our preferences, offering personalized service. Her gentle and professional demeanor made us feel incredibly comfortable. Shangri-La Fuzhou truly demonstrates the quality of a five-star hotel, and Cynthia's heartwarming service added an extra layer of warmth to our trip. The entire experience was flawless. I will definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Fuzhou, and I highly recommend it to anyone traveling to the city!

This hotel is located right by West Lake, offering unbeatable views of the lake and mountains. I really appreciate the classic feel of this older hotel. The breakfast selection is extensive, and as a tourist, I found the Fuzhou specialty snacks to be authentically delicious, which my child thoroughly enjoyed. Service: The service was incredibly thoughtful, polite, and enthusiastic. Staff members always greeted us when passing by. They also took into careful consideration our needs when assigning a room, knowing we were traveling with a child and elderly parents. When I had a minor scrape from an electric scooter outside, the hotel even provided iodine and Yunnan Baiyao. What's more, the Yunnan Baiyao was brand new, and they even removed the plastic packaging for me – impeccable attention to detail! When I went to concierge to pick up our takeout, the staff even pointed out which items had just arrived, giving me a 'clue.' Haha. All in all, highly recommended! If I ever come to Fuzhou again, I'll definitely stay here.

Airport shuttle: Very close to the airport; free airport shuttle service is available if you book in advance. Free flower hairpin: The hotel provides two flower hairpin vouchers, one for West Street and one for Xunpu; you can choose one. New hotel: Modern Nanyang style, feels like home. Room: Very comfortable, nice bed, convenient for getting around. Will come again next time.

The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was soft and large. I checked in late at night, and the front desk staff was very patient and provided excellent service. They even upgraded my room! The breakfast buffet was also abundant with a great variety of options. The hotel is conveniently located close to attractions like Gulangyu Island and Zhongshan Road, and getting a taxi was easy. Service: The service was incredibly attentive and efficient. They were very quick to respond to requests, definitely a five-star experience. Environment: The view was fantastic, overlooking the Min River. We got to watch the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful. Facilities: The TV wasn't a smart TV, so we couldn't cast anything to it. Hopefully, they'll update that soon. I really liked the toiletries, though. Breakfast: There was a good variety of options, but the taste was just average. It was extremely crowded, and there was a lot of waiting in line.
