The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right across from Gulangyu Island, and within walking distance to Zhongshan Road. It's also not far from the airport. The views are fantastic, and the hotel itself is very comfortable. The facilities are convenient and functional, it's quiet for a good night's sleep, and even the toiletries are great. The rooms are spacious with a good layout. The staff are professional and enthusiastic, paying attention to guests' special needs. The front desk even upgraded us to a room with a beautiful sea view, which really enhanced our stay! Xiamen is a wonderful city to explore with delicious food and beautiful scenery! This is an excellent hotel to stay at!

Highly recommend this hotel! 1. The best thing is its location: inside the ancient city, the North Gate leads to the food street and is next to Taigu Bridge; the South Gate connects to Taiwan Road, making it super convenient to reach all the scenic spots and food areas in the ancient city within minutes! You can slowly experience the ancient city by day and night: mornings are peaceful but full of local life, where you can chat with residents and enjoy local breakfast in nearby streets to start a vibrant day; at noon, it's too hot, so head back for a nap and scroll through your phone; at 4 PM, head out to find food or a spot for coffee and just relax; evenings are all about the hustle and bustle! 2. Hotel environment: It has a courtyard design, with flowers and plants everywhere, making it a quiet oasis in the middle of all the action. It offers the warmth of a B&B with the management of a hotel! 3. Room: We chose the 3rd-floor LOFT, which gave the kids their own space. It would have been even more perfect if the view from the balcony was a bit better! The public area on the 2nd floor is also great, you could sit there all afternoon with a coffee or tea. 4. The ancient city offers a variety of snacks, so you can spend a whole day just walking, stopping, eating, and exploring 😁 Everyone can cross中山公园 (Zhongshan Park) to 青年路 (Qingnian Road) for more food! I recommend 锦群饭店 (Jinqun Restaurant); for a Cantonese foodie like me, it's right up my alley – large portions with that 'wok hei' flavor! It has that street-side stall vibe! We ate there two days in a row. Although the rating isn't high, I've included photos, so you can judge for yourselves.

The executive suite here is quite good, much more spacious than the hotels I've stayed at before, and the price is reasonable. It's right on the food street; for lunch, I just popped over to the Wengling Ginger Duck next door. Plus, it's pretty close to the Puppet Theater, Quanzhou Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and Guan Gong Temple. The walls on the ground floor and in the parking lot are also great for photos. It's a shame I was in a rush this time. I hope I get another chance to stay longer next time and properly experience the tea room and the hairpin making.

I chose this hotel for my business trip and my experience was absolutely fantastic! The room layout was very well-designed; the work area was spacious, making it super convenient to get work done. The bedding and sofa in the lounge area were also very comfortable, allowing me to relax quickly after work. The bathroom was clean and tidy, with stable hot water and good water pressure, perfect for a relaxing bath to unwind after a long day. The front desk and room service were very responsive, and check-in and check-out were efficient, causing no delays to my schedule. Overall, the facilities are well-maintained with great attention to detail. I'll definitely prioritize staying here again for future business trips.

Beyond expectations! We stayed in a deluxe triple suite on the 22nd floor. It was on the same level as the complimentary afternoon tea and breakfast, which was very convenient for metro access. The view was expansive, and while the afternoon tea selection wasn't huge, the taste was excellent. The location is great, and the staff were very attentive. A special shout-out to the lady who set up our extra bed – she was incredibly kind and went back and forth many times to get blankets for us, a definite thumbs up! 👍👍 We visited during the off-peak week after the May Day holiday, so the price was also very reasonable. If I had to nitpick, I'd say check-in at the front desk could be a bit faster, and the water pressure in the shower wasn't quite strong enough. This trip also gave me a new appreciation for Shangri-La; I'll definitely check their prices first next time.

Best hotel in Fuzhou. Nicely located with a tranquil and peaceful environment. Service was great, especially the concierge. They are very helpful and service oriented. Every staff greet their guest whenever you enter. Room service was prompt and responsible. The West Lake view was awesome. Good for morning run and evening stroll. A lively and historical place. Places of interest were located nearby, museums, panda park, walking streets. Ample of local restaurants and stores. Local people were kind and friendly. I will stay again in this hotel for my future trips to Fuzhou.

Facilities: Very complete and convenient. Cleanliness: Very clean, not a speck of dust. Environment: The room I booked was very spacious and comfortable. There was enough space for two large 28-inch suitcases. Service: The hotel offers latex pillows and a wake-up service. There's even a clothes drying rack above the bathtub in the room. The location is very close to Jinjiang Airport, making it super convenient for early flights or layovers. The lobby design is distinctive, and the spiral staircase is perfect for photos. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, equipped with a bathtub and a mini-bar, and all the amenities you need. The hotel also has a laundry room, a gym, and a rich variety of options for the self-service breakfast. Overall, it's clean and tidy, with attentive service. It's suitable for both layovers and short trips, highly recommended.

The room felt very clean, and the service was friendly and welcoming. Since it was the off-season, they kindly upgraded our room for free. The location is excellent too; the subway station is right across the street, and a bus stop is just a hundred meters away, which is incredibly convenient for tourists visiting Xiamen. We had a very comfortable stay and have already extended our booking, planning to stay here for our entire week in Xiamen. The hotel breakfast is also very rich and varied, with different options each day, and it tastes delicious.

Service: The service was incredibly attentive and efficient. They were very quick to respond to requests, definitely a five-star experience. Environment: The view was fantastic, overlooking the Min River. We got to watch the sunset, which was absolutely beautiful. Facilities: The TV wasn't a smart TV, so we couldn't cast anything to it. Hopefully, they'll update that soon. I really liked the toiletries, though. Breakfast: There was a good variety of options, but the taste was just average. It was extremely crowded, and there was a lot of waiting in line.

RRRRaayyyOne of the best hotels in Xiamen! The location might seem a bit out of the way, but taking a taxi to attractions usually only adds about ten minutes due to less traffic. Plus, it's right next to the Sailing Center, making sea excursions super convenient. Personally, I usually book hotels for just one day on my first stay, but after experiencing this one, I think staying at The Seven for 2-3 days would be perfect for a Xiamen trip. For the remaining time, I'd choose the Lujiang Hotel and Conrad, otherwise, it might get a bit boring as there aren't many dining options around Wuyuan Bay 😿. The room's hardware is exceptional, with many features reaching top-tier quality. There's a huge PG bathtub, and the blackout curtains are fantastic – you can make the room completely dark even during the day. The bedding comfort is truly astonishing; the high-thread-count cotton feels almost like silk, and both the duvet and pillows are incredibly fluffy and soft. I was genuinely surprised by how good the bedding was 😻. The spa's hot pools are also quite interesting and a must-try during your stay. There are three hot pools, one massage pool, and one cold plunge pool. The massage pool offers five functions, all of which are quite powerful 😼. It's also worth mentioning that the butler service is excellent. Their response time is very quick, and they do their best to assist guests. Special thanks to Molly, our butler for this stay 😺. Regarding breakfast, although online reviews aren't the best, I personally found it quite good, at least in terms of variety. They offer special Americano coffees, the pastry section is delicious, and the hot food area has many Fujian specialty dishes. The à la carte black truffle scrambled eggs were also very good 👍. From my personal experience, there were two minor drawbacks. One is that while the in-room soundproofing is great, noises from outside the door can be heard. If neighboring guests are noisy when returning to their rooms, it might be a bit bothersome, but it didn't affect me personally 🤔. The other is that some of the individually sealed bottled water is a bit difficult to open. Other than that, I didn't encounter any issues.

GGuest UserI was very satisfied with the hotel's location, breakfast, and overall accommodation. However, there are two points I was less happy with: 1. The room had a musty smell. I was told this is a common issue with old buildings, and a major renovation would be needed to fix it, so the problem persists. 2. The cheongsam experience was not good. When I arrived at the changing room at my reserved time, there was no one there to assist me. Only another guest's butler was waiting to take photos. When I asked for advice on clothing sizes, they couldn't offer any suggestions. I wanted to try on a few pieces to see which fit best, but was told I couldn't – I could only hold them up to a mirror to decide. But for a well-tailored garment like a cheongsam, how can you know if the size is right without trying it on? After a brief exchange, the person immediately went back to photographing their guest, completely ignoring me. I called my own butler but no one answered (they later replied saying they only start work in the afternoon, which made me wonder if we only got half-day service because we were checking out the next day. I was quite annoyed at the time, but this butler's service the day before had been excellent, so I decided not to pursue it further). The above is just for your reference.

GGuest UserOverall, my stay at the Shangri-La Xiamen was very satisfying. The hotel offers a great range of complimentary facilities, including a well-equipped swimming pool and gym. The service quality definitely met five-star standards, with staff being both warm and professional. The room was clean and comfortable, and the dining options were diverse, with a rich variety for breakfast – a truly satisfying experience. The only slight disappointment was the sea view. While I could indeed see the ocean, a bridge construction project was also prominently visible from the window, making the entire sea view seem rather monotonous and not quite living up to the expansive and beautiful seascape I had anticipated. I hope the hotel can accurately describe the current sea view situation when introducing room types, allowing guests to have more precise expectations. Aside from that, everything else was satisfactory, and it remains a highly recommended luxury accommodation option in Xiamen.

TTaffy4456I first heard about Linggan Hotel through an article by Teacher Maori and immediately bookmarked it as a great B&B. When I had the chance to travel to Xiamen during the off-season at the end of the year, I booked a king-size room at Linggan the day after I booked my flight. I chose the Sanqiutian Pier for the ferry, as Baidu Maps showed it was closer to the B&B. After getting off the pier, it was just over a 10-minute walk to the property. The B&B has a rather large courtyard, and its location offers a peaceful retreat while being close to both Piano Pier and Longtou Road. My favorite spot was the small balcony seating at the end of the corridor; enjoying a cup of coffee from the downstairs cafe and soaking up the sun in the afternoon was simply delightful. The room decor was minimalist, but all essential amenities were provided, showing great attention to detail. The large bathtub even came with a perfectly sized liner. In the evening, playing some favorite music on the in-room Bose Bluetooth speaker was just perfect. The breakfast on the second day was a set meal, very generous and delicious. You could choose to enjoy it in the cafe downstairs or in the outdoor garden. Both the auntie and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic. I hope the prices don't increase too much during peak season, as I truly want to come back again!

JJ XuLijiazhuang Hotel is hidden in a quiet corner of Gulangyu Island, with a clean and elegant environment and a perfect geographical location. Its historical atmosphere and architectural beauty interweave a restrained and rich aura, which is impressive. The room we stayed in was warm and elegant, and it was one of my favorite spaces on this trip. The service is even more exemplary. The housekeepers Xiao Chen and Xiao Wang are thoughtful and patient, and respond quickly, truly achieving ”details are service”. Such a hotel with great care and full of emotions, with good user experience and a deep reputation foundation, fully has the sustainable advantage of leveraging trust and building long-term customer assets. The future is promising. Bravo!

JJujudaiwowanThe service attitude of the lady at the front desk was very good. She added WeChat and responded to any questions in time. Because it was booked on short notice, the price would be slightly higher than some group buying platforms. I stayed in a garden twin room, but I could see the sea from the side of the balcony. The room was pretty good. It has been open for about seven or eight years, right? It's a little old, but it's still the best hotel in this area. Many people who come here to stay are family outings. You can borrow bicycles and kites to play at the beach, but the weather is hot and you can't play for too long. The hotel doesn't have any indoor entertainment activities or public swimming pools to play in the water. Fortunately, a small tent painting set was given so that you can kill time in the room. It would be even better if more children's play facilities were added! There is a coastal defense park nearby, and you can also go to the Senqiu Farm on Shuangyu Island to feed the small animals. If you are a little further away, you can drive 20 minutes to Shima to eat and eat. The two-day and one-night itinerary is just right. 👻

MM45523****I stayed at this hotel for two nights, and the immersive resort experience left a deep impression—it's truly an excellent choice for leisure and relaxation. The hotel's location is very peaceful, within walking distance of a forest park, offering both convenient access to attractions and a respite from the outside world's hustle and bustle. During check-in, the staff provided service with constant smiles, thoughtfully offering welcome fruits and snacks. In the evening, before bed, we enjoyed peanut soup, which truly enhanced the vacation atmosphere. The room was spacious and bright, directly overlooking a garden waterscape. Waking up to birdsong in the morning and enjoying the sunset in the evening was incredibly pleasant. The bedding was soft and skin-friendly, and the bathroom amenities featured natural fragrances, showing attention to detail. The hotel's buffet breakfast offered a rich variety, with freshly baked bread and freshly squeezed juices, all in an elegant dining environment. During downtime, a swim in the outdoor pool or a rejuvenating SPA treatment at the hotel helped melt away travel fatigue. The hotel also provides a complimentary picnic basket rental service, making it convenient for guests to enjoy a picnic on the lakeside lawn. My stay was a perfect 10, making this an ideal choice for a vacation getaway.

GGuest UserThe last time I came to Gulangyu, I was shocked by the scale and momentum of Huangjia Garden. This time I came to Gulangyu to experience it specially, it was a surprise! The environment of Huangjia Garden is very quiet. Take a slow walk in the garden, watch the gardens and buildings of the large families of the Republic of China, and touch the 100-year history of this key cultural relics protection unit in the country. The location of the hotel is very convenient, and the back door goes directly to the garden of Yuanzhuang and the back beach of Hong Kong. It was also very quiet at night, and you could see Sunlight Rock from the window of the hotel room. The service of the staff was very good, and Director Xiao Liu carried my big box all the way to the room.

SSamanthaThis hotel was originally the one I was most looking forward to during our self-driving trip. But this experience also made me once again determined not to book homestays when traveling in the future. First, let me talk about the good feelings: 1. Before checking in, the housekeeper took the initiative to contact me, added WeChat, and gave me directions from Sanqiutian Wharf to the hotel. I watched the video first to get a general impression and then followed the navigation to find the hotel's location accurately. 2. The room type I booked has two rooms. I was taken to see both rooms first and choose the one I like. 3. Wheelchairs, strollers, umbrellas, these thoughtful little items are all available. The child's foot was broken and the plaster had just been removed. We didn't bring our wheelchair to the island, but luckily the hotel had a wheelchair, which was a great help. 4. The environment of the small courtyard is really great. The guy with glasses in the hotel is a very nice person. He has a sense of boundaries and is very enthusiastic. He likes to chat with children. The restaurant he recommends is also very delicious. Let me talk about the unsatisfactory parts: 1. As soon as I walked in, I had a bad feeling. I was not greeted by ”Hello, are you checking in? / How can I help you?” but ”What are you here for?” ”What's your name?” ”The room is still being cleaned, at least an hour (but another room had already been cleaned)”. 2. The actual situation of the room...I can only say that the picture is rendered too well. Every item in the room showed roughness and lack of maintenance. 3. There was a serious problem with the sewer in the room. It smelled so bad that it made me dizzy and want to vomit. I put the minibar diffuser next to the bed, but it still couldn't cover up the stench. 4. As the most expensive room type in the hotel, one has a noisy heating device on the top and the other is close to the street with pedestrians and garbage trucks which is also very noisy. It is really not a particularly good experience. 5. The so-called free travel photography is even more outrageous. It is completely a traffic diversion. It is arranged in advance, but it is completely equivalent to no appointment. I arrived at 2:30 pm on time. There was only one makeup artist in the store. The photographers must have been out for work. Then the grandma said impatiently that it wouldn't be that fast and I should just wait. I gave up decisively.
