The front desk service was great; check-in was fast, and they even upgraded me to a river view room, which was a nice bonus. The breakfast spread was fantastic, with plenty of local specialties like taro paste, fish balls, seafood hotpot, peanut soup, vermicelli paste, and oyster cakes, all of which tasted delicious. It gets quite busy during breakfast, so if you go too late, you'll likely have to wait in line. The only minor inconvenience was that food deliveries can only be left at the hotel lobby on the first floor, while the front desk is on the 40th floor. Overall, it was a very good stay, and I would choose this hotel again if I'm back in the area.

Hotel near West Lake Park Area,Fuzhou
TTuzizouzhuoqiao 2026.03.30
My first time ever in Fuzhou! After a lot of back and forth on Trip.com, reading countless reviews and recommendations, I finally settled on the West Lake Hotel. Here's my take on the stay: The young lady who handled my check-in was super friendly, and the process was incredibly fast. When I mentioned I had an early flight and needed to leave soon, she proactively arranged a breakfast box for me. Talk about thoughtful service! Hotel Environment: The lobby is bright and adorned with numerous handicrafts and artworks. The best part? There's a Starbucks right in the lobby! My room rate included a complimentary Starbucks coffee every day, which saved me so much time. I could grab a coffee and then stroll through West Lake Park right outside the hotel. Room Facilities: The moment I opened my room door, West Lake Park was right there, offering a beautiful view. All the amenities in the room were new and very well-maintained. The housekeeping staff did an excellent job – rooms were clean, fast, and thorough. Restaurant Service: The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring both Western and Chinese options, along with plenty of local Fuzhou snacks. However, the restaurant service was rather disappointing and fell short. The breakfast box was quite slapdash and arrived more than ten minutes late, even after the front desk called multiple times to rush it. Inside the big box was just one egg, one milk, and two small buns... a completely cold and uninspired breakfast. Why the fifteen-minute delay for that?! This breakfast box really doesn't live up to the hotel's star rating; it was truly frustrating. All the great feelings I'd accumulated during my stay were instantly shattered....

The hotel offers a great view of Wuyi Square and the statue of the great man right outside my window. The city view is fantastic. Overall, the place is clean and hygienic, and the staff are incredibly helpful. The executive lounge, though small, is fully equipped and serves delicious food. The mattress and pillows aren't too soft, which made it easy to fall asleep quickly. This is one of the most satisfying hotels I've stayed at so far, full of thoughtful details. A big thank you to the hotel staff for a comfortable experience. Highly recommended!

My Quanzhou trip included a stay at the InterContinental Taihe, and the experience truly exceeded my expectations – I just have to rave about it! I booked a deluxe room, but the front desk kindly upgraded me to a suite. The space was huge and incredibly comfortable, with an amazing view outside the window. I could see both the river and the city skyline, which was beautiful day and night. The Ferris wheel's lights were especially dazzling, and just relaxing in the room put me in such a great mood. The breakfast selection was incredibly rich, with both Chinese and Western options, and the taste was spot-on. I was very satisfied. The service attitude was truly exceptional. Everyone was warm and attentive throughout my stay, always ready to help. They even extended my check-out until 2 PM free of charge, which meant I didn't have to rush and could enjoy my itinerary at a leisurely pace. Overall, my stay was fantastic – clean, comfortable, and with excellent service. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Quanzhou. Highly recommend!

My stay at the InterContinental Fuzhou Seamall far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the staff proactively helped with my luggage, always with a warm and friendly smile. The check-in process was incredibly efficient, with no anxious waiting at all. What truly impressed me was when a front desk agent, upon hearing I was ordering takeout, thoughtfully offered to show me to the delivery locker and explained the pickup procedure in detail. Such genuinely guest-centric service absolutely deserves five stars! Additionally, the hotel's breakfast buffet was exceptionally satisfying. The variety was impressive, ranging from authentic Fuzhou snacks to freshly made noodle stations and Western pastries. Every dish was fresh and delicious, especially the freshly prepared Rou Yan (meat swallow dumplings) and fish ball soup, taro paste, eight-treasure rice, and peanut soup. Eating all that left me feeling energized for the entire day. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Fuzhou. Highly recommended!

The room was fantastic, and they even gave the kids some arcade tokens, which they loved. The next morning, we went up to the Cloud Observation Deck. Even though the weather wasn't great and we missed the sunrise, we still got to see a beautiful panoramic view of Longyan city, which was pretty amazing. During the Chinese New Year, they also organized some intangible cultural heritage experiences, like making lacquer fans and woodblock prints. The kids had a blast and even learned something new! 😄😄 The breakfast was incredibly rich with lots of local specialties, and the taste was really authentic. They had both Chinese and Western options, highly recommend it!

I didn't expect this hotel to be so good, and now I understand why it received so many positive reviews. First, the hotel gave us a free upgrade to a courtyard family room, which was incredibly important. The south-facing room on the first floor was very warm, and being able to open a small door directly into the courtyard was lovely. **Cleanliness**: The cleanliness was excellent, and the facilities were new. The cleaning staff did a fantastic job; they even disinfected the tea set. Seeing that we enjoyed tea, they provided a large bottle of Nongfu Spring water. **Environment**: The hotel is located right at the edge of Sanfang Qixiang, making it convenient for taxis. It's also very easy to walk to various attractions (Yan Fu's former residence, Lin Zexu Memorial Hall, Wenrufang, etc.). It's very quiet here, yet if you walk to the main street in the middle of Sanfang Qixiang at night, it's quite lively. About 100 meters away, on Yadao Alley, there's a Michelin Bib Gourmand 'Houjie Laohua' noodle shop that's open until 1 AM, which is very convenient. On the other side, walking towards Wenrufang, there's another Michelin-starred Min cuisine restaurant with excellent food. On the main street, the 'Tongli Rouyan' (meat swallows) is also delicious and served very quickly. **Facilities**: The hotel's public areas are a suitable size with high ceilings. They offer various coffee, fruit tea, and hot beverages, plus some soft drinks and cold beverages (the 'Dasjie' olive juice is delicious). They also provide free postcards with stamps available. In the room, there's a box with several types of tea and a complete tea brewing set. **Service**: The service was very thoughtful. We were satisfied from check-in onwards. Fresh fruit was delivered daily, and all drinks in the mini-bar were complimentary. Since we couldn't wake up early enough for the buffet breakfast, I asked if the hotel could pack some for us to try. To my surprise, they agreed and even delivered it to our room on a small table! I felt a bit embarrassed, as I had only expected a takeaway box. When we checked out, the hotel butler presented us with a souvenir and helped carry our luggage to the car. (I specifically noted the butlers' name tags, which read Qin Yue and Zhang Xuan). Later, I learned that the hotel's breakfast is vegetarian and it's called 'Sanbao,' suggesting it might be a hotel with Buddhist undertones. Staying here, I felt very peaceful, and the overall environment was wonderful. This is truly a hotel that offers great value for money and is highly recommended.

Superbly located in a quiet leafy neighborhood next to a beautiful lake (good for birdwatching during spring). Very well maintained hotel premise - despite its 3-decade old history - kudos to hotel management. The central atrium is impressive with a nice historical mural, ideal for a delightful afternoon coffee or evening cocktail. Has a 15m open-air pool that is open throughout the year (a rare gem in Xiamen) - sparklingly clean water, refreshingly cool, with nice view of the lake through the pool terrace. Adjacent to hotel is a cosy bar / F&B enclave - offering a variety of foodie options. The on-premise Italian and fusion-Vietnamese restaurants are very popular among locals and tourists alike.

Impressed by Wuyi, the most beautiful椿泊. The hotel is nestled in a quiet spot yet close to the action, built right along the creek. It's a pleasant walk to Song Street and Sangu Food Street. The Song Dynasty aesthetic blends seamlessly with the Wuyi Mountain landscape, creating an infinitely enchanting view. What truly stands out are the hotel staff; every single one is genuinely warm and friendly, offering prompt and thoughtful service with a sweet smile. I'll definitely be back here again!

BBeinuandexindayeTwo nights in Xiamen at the Qishang, and by the end, I wished we had more time! On the first afternoon, we explored the hotel grounds. My son enjoyed riding the little pony outside, and then we strolled along the coastal path to a small beach nearby. It was tiny, covered in pebbles that sparkled in the sunset. We couldn't get a reservation at the Xiamen restaurant for dinner, but the Western food at Yinghong was surprisingly delicious. After dinner, we returned to our room to find a thoughtful little gift on the bed, which was a lovely touch. The next day, we had a yacht trip booked. It was an hour-long round trip, taking us to see Kinmen across the sea. My son loved running back and forth between the bow and stern of the boat. We rode the waves and watched the spray, and it turned out to be his favorite part of the whole trip.

LLikainidainidedifangqubierendainidedifangThis hotel is located right within the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area, seamlessly blending in with its attractions. At first glance, you might even mistake it for one of the old mansions! The 'Fuzhou' stone at the entrance and the walls covered in firecracker flowers draw plenty of people for photos. They offer exclusive, special services: delicate snacks, fresh fruit, and a warming, small alcoholic drink. **Room Facilities**: The rooms are entirely Chinese-style. The elegant peony mural above the bed, symbolizing 'spring filling the garden,' and the black-themed furniture are arranged very comfortably. **Value for Money**: Overall, Fuzhou hotel prices offer good value. Coming back from Chaozhou, the difference in room quality for the same price is quite significant, so I think the value here is really high. **Breakfast**: Served at the restaurant directly opposite. While the variety isn't huge, it includes local specialties like oyster omelets and 'Laohua' (a local noodle soup). I heard it used to be at another Michelin-starred restaurant – I hope they can switch back to that one next time! **Bed**: Large and comfortable. **Hygiene**: Clean. **Parking**: There's a dedicated parking lot, but since the entire scenic area has stone slab paths, pushing a suitcase is a bit inconvenient. Also, cars can't reach the hotel entrance directly, so you have to walk a bit. Our driver wasn't familiar with the area, which led to a longer detour, making it quite inconvenient. **Room View**: Opening the wooden lattice windows, you see ancient, quaint surrounding walls. **Location & Transportation**: Right in the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys scenic area. For going out, entering from Tonghu Road is more convenient. **Service**: I felt at ease as soon as I arrived. The uncle at the door carried all my luggage to the room and gave very detailed instructions and explanations. I even thought he was the owner! [Thumbs Up] The most thoughtful touch was the preserved plums – they were quite tasty. However, on the second day, the uncle only placed my luggage outside. If it could have been taken all the way to the roadside, I think the service would have been even more exceptional. **Bathroom Facilities**: Bright and spotless, with a powerful shower. The hotel's facilities and decor are all very ancient and elegant, exuding a tranquil charm. Looking at the large koi, I feel like I could spend an entire day just in the hotel.

MMushroom ShumOne of the best hotels we have ever stayed at! My daughter absolutely loved the NX Kids Club and had an amazing time at the hotel. Front desk staff Yulia (小杨) was incredibly helpful. She arranged special meals for my 2-year-old daughter and assisted us with many requests. The hotel is very close to the beach, and the rooms are spacious and clean. All the staff are extremely friendly, they would rush to help us with our luggage every time they saw us carrying too much. It was a truly remarkable stay. We will definitely stay here again next time!

GGuest UserThis was my first time in Fuzhou, and I'm really happy with my choice of the Mercure Sanfang Qixiang, booked through Trip.com. The rooms are clean and tidy, and staying on a higher floor offered a great view of the bustling city. The breakfast on the 29th-floor rooftop was especially impressive, with a wide variety of delicious options, including local specialties. The hotel's location is excellent; it's very close to Provincial Hospital Station on Metro Line 4, and Sanfang Qixiang is just one stop away, or an easy walk. We visited Xichan Temple, Gulou Scenic Area, Dingguang Temple, and Yushan Park – all historically rich and very enjoyable. They're all easily accessible by metro or bus. The off-season price was really good value for money. I'd definitely recommend it to friends.

TTaffy4456I first heard about Linggan Hotel through an article by Teacher Maori and immediately bookmarked it as a great B&B. When I had the chance to travel to Xiamen during the off-season at the end of the year, I booked a king-size room at Linggan the day after I booked my flight. I chose the Sanqiutian Pier for the ferry, as Baidu Maps showed it was closer to the B&B. After getting off the pier, it was just over a 10-minute walk to the property. The B&B has a rather large courtyard, and its location offers a peaceful retreat while being close to both Piano Pier and Longtou Road. My favorite spot was the small balcony seating at the end of the corridor; enjoying a cup of coffee from the downstairs cafe and soaking up the sun in the afternoon was simply delightful. The room decor was minimalist, but all essential amenities were provided, showing great attention to detail. The large bathtub even came with a perfectly sized liner. In the evening, playing some favorite music on the in-room Bose Bluetooth speaker was just perfect. The breakfast on the second day was a set meal, very generous and delicious. You could choose to enjoy it in the cafe downstairs or in the outdoor garden. Both the auntie and the front desk staff were very enthusiastic. I hope the prices don't increase too much during peak season, as I truly want to come back again!

CckateMy colleague recommended this mansion a lot, so I stayed one night at Gulangyu. I added the mansion's staff on WeChat and asked about booking for ferry from Xiamen and porter service, because there is no vehicles in Gulangyu so I had to walk from the port to mansion. Lin's Mansion offered a lot of services including rental traditional clothes and visiting some attractions, but sadly I couldn't do those things due to my short itinerary. I bet I will stay at this mansion if I go to Gulanyu again.

11386015****A day before our arrival, the housekeeper sent us a detailed message with all sorts of tips and information. They covered everything, even asking if we were traveling with children so they could prepare special toiletries and toys for them. The swimming pool had free water guns and kayaks, and the lobby offered free Hanfu for photo ops. When I arrived, I saw a lovely young lady waiting for us in the parking lot – it turned out to be Xiao Shi, who I had been communicating with. This seemingly delicate girl actually helped us with our luggage and guided us to our room, which was incredibly thoughtful. What's more, when my sister left her cosmetics in the room, Xiao Shi contacted me immediately and even delivered them to our door! Such a dedicated personal butler definitely deserves a bonus! Thank you, Xiao Shi!

MMisiDUANSee you next time in Lijiazhuang! It overturned my noisy impression of hotels in popular scenic spots~ The environment and service are very good and considerate, and the style of combining Chinese and Western styles is really liked! Very good~ The hotel gives away special afternoon tea and unique handmade tea snacks, which are not sweet and delicious! Although it is a holiday, it is quite quiet. This is my first time to Gulangyu and the best experience I have ever had. I also went to the tea art experience ”Ersan Cong” for free. There is a young lady who is very good. She patiently explains every tea and every seasonal tea snack, which are all very special! The young lady's brewing technique is also very good, unlocking a new view of tea. His tea is really good, and I also brought some~ After this whole set of experience, I think I will come to Gulangyu again~ Maybe it is for afternoon tea in different seasons and the tea snacks of ”Ersan Cong”, or it may be to be able to quietly daze on the balcony of ”Lijiazhuang” and enjoy the quietness... Oh, by the way! I also gave away a lot of coupons for stores~ They are all stores that don't step on thunder!

GGuest UserThe service attitude of the lady at the front desk was very good. She added WeChat and responded to any questions in time. Because it was booked on short notice, the price would be slightly higher than some group buying platforms. I stayed in a garden twin room, but I could see the sea from the side of the balcony. The room was pretty good. It has been open for about seven or eight years, right? It's a little old, but it's still the best hotel in this area. Many people who come here to stay are family outings. You can borrow bicycles and kites to play at the beach, but the weather is hot and you can't play for too long. The hotel doesn't have any indoor entertainment activities or public swimming pools to play in the water. Fortunately, a small tent painting set was given so that you can kill time in the room. It would be even better if more children's play facilities were added! There is a coastal defense park nearby, and you can also go to the Senqiu Farm on Shuangyu Island to feed the small animals. If you are a little further away, you can drive 20 minutes to Shima to eat and eat. The two-day and one-night itinerary is just right. 👻
