"The Howard Johnson hotel is incredibly close to Changsha Huanghua Airport. While they do offer shuttle service, if you don't have too much luggage, walking to the airport is perfectly fine. The hotel rooms are very spacious, easily accommodating a family of three. There are also plenty of great restaurants, snacks, and night markets nearby. The only downside is that the rooms are carpeted, and they look incredibly dirty. Carpets are notoriously good at trapping dust, and these were indeed very dusty. Plus, the hotel's housekeeping clearly falls short, as many fixtures had visible dust on them."

"The hotel is conveniently located not far from Wuyi Square, making it easy to get around. The high-altitude river view is absolutely stunning, and you don't have to worry about noise. The butler service was consistently excellent. They apologized profusely because our room wasn't cleaned in time, which delayed our check-in. To make up for it, they booked a private 'Storm Spa' session for us and even provided complimentary breakfast. Overall, the facilities and service completely justify the price. They don't neglect service just because it's a popular '网红' (influencer-favorite) hotel, and the experience is quite unique."

"Highly recommended! The room was spacious and clean, the shower was very comfortable, and the vanity mirror at the sink was a convenient touch. The front desk service was excellent; they even called to ask about forgotten items, which was very thoughtful. It's really good. I was a bit worried that the 2018 renovation might make it seem old, but when I got there, I found it to be very clean and the room was super big."

"We booked this hotel specifically for the Luo Dayou concert at Meixihu International Culture and Arts Centre. It's a very short walk from the hotel. Although the room was smaller than I expected, our stay was very comfortable overall. The breakfast was good, and the service was excellent. Plus, it's not far from Metro Line 2, just a few minutes' walk, making it very convenient to visit Orange Isle and Yuelu Academy. I forgot to take pictures of the room, so here are a few photos of the ground-floor restaurant and the Arts Centre!"
