Guest UserI was very satisfied with my stay. The room had great natural light and was clean and fresh. The front desk staff processed check-in quickly and were very polite and friendly. There are many restaurants and shops downstairs, making dining and shopping very convenient. The bed was soft and comfortable, and the facilities were well-maintained. It offers excellent value for money, and I will definitely book here again on my next visit.

ZhangWLThis is our second time at Nanyuan Hotel, and this time my brother and I brought our elderly mother to visit historical sites. After seeing the underground project, we reflected on the tumultuous past and were filled with emotion. We really love Nanyuan Hotel; it's a destination in itself. Within a hundred meters, there's the most beautiful garden, the most beautiful university, the most delicious Su cuisine, and the most beautiful street. We feel that the hotel's management is keeping up with the times. Next time, we look forward to experiencing the Yingjie room type, and we hope you continue to surprise us. Also, after reporting some air conditioning noise in the room, they kindly sent us delicious Suzhou preserves, an adorable souvenir fan, and a fridge magnet. Thumbs up for your service!

There are many hotels near Jinji Lake, and after much deliberation, I chose the Lamborghini. Overall, my review is average; it's the kind of place I wouldn't return to.
Facilities: Most of the hotel facilities are quite old. The light switches weren't very responsive. The layout of the rooms in the hotel is quite confusing, with no clear signage. The breakfast restaurant was hard to find; I even had to direct two other guests who were lost. The hotel's own pool is quite mediocre, more of a 'better than nothing' situation, so I ended up going to the Crowne Plaza next door to swim.
Hygiene: There were black marks on the pillow that hadn't been cleaned.
Environment: The overall garden architectural style is quite unique compared to other hotels. However, there were a lot of mosquitoes; I got covered in bites just taking a few photos. Also, the hotel lobby design feels a bit cramped and doesn't exude a five-star standard.
Service: Most of the staff were pleasant, but a few front desk personnel gave perfunctory responses. The path to the Crowne Plaza is a bit circuitous, and while the hotel offers a free shuttle bus, they didn't proactively mention it. I only found out about the shuttle after asking. I requested a room upgrade two days in advance, even though there were vacancies, but it wasn't granted.
Overall, it's not really worth it, and I won't be coming back.

Service: I stayed here during the May Day holiday. The front desk contacted me in advance to confirm my estimated arrival time and proactively helped me with my luggage to the parking lot. After a brief chat, my booked courtyard room was upgraded for free to a third-floor river-view king room. The Qinhuai River was right outside the balcony door of the living room. The staff also kindly informed me of the best viewing times and explained all the room's amenities.
Environment: The hotel's location is excellent, peaceful yet central. The room was meticulously clean, and the public areas were bright and tidy.
Value-added services: The minibar offered complimentary drinks, snacks, and two facial masks. The public area on the first floor provided a variety of traditional Chinese clothing for guests to use for free photos, including Hanfu, horse-face skirts, and qipaos. They were varied, clean, and suitable for women of all sizes.
Breakfast: Breakfast was a semi-buffet, featuring the hotel's special noodles and Nanjing's local pastries and cold dishes, all quite rich and delicious.

Huazhu She · Suzhou Moke Garden Cultural Hotel
A hidden gem near Pingjiang Road, this hotel boasts a garden with a history spanning several centuries. Guests and casual visitors are separated by an electric privacy gate, which effectively safeguards privacy. Initially, I was concerned about mosquitoes, but my worries were unfounded. Aromatic mosquito repellents are placed everywhere in the garden; they are effective and not overpowering. The staff also regularly check and replace them.
The hotel offers complimentary cultural performances for guests. With only 12 rooms, guests enjoy undisturbed peace. I stayed in 'Guanhua Hall', which was advertised as 45 square meters but felt more like 50+. The interior design eschews modern minimalism in favor of authentic garden-style rosewood furniture, meticulously restored from an old mansion. Every corner of the room was impeccably clean, a testament to the owner's exceptional upkeep. At my age, I truly appreciate this kind of classic ambiance.
The butler service was also superb – highly responsive and incredibly attentive. A shuttle service is provided for both arrival and departure, and the breakfast, a healthy home-cooked meal, was absolutely delightful.
This hotel is truly a place to slow down and quietly immerse yourself in the experience – a serene oasis in the heart of the bustling city.

Guest UserDuring my recent trip to Suzhou, I had the pleasure of staying at 'Shantang Shuxiang Residence'. It's a tranquil oasis tucked away from the bustling city; just ten steps out, you're amidst the lively streets, yet within the hotel's courtyard, a sense of peace envelops you. I distinctly recall a sweltering day with heavy traffic, but thankfully, a rickshaw from the street corner whisked us through the alleyways with refreshing speed.
The hotel's garden isn't large, and our room was in a charming two-story wooden building. The elegant room was spacious and tidy. I particularly appreciated the firm bed, which allowed for a comfortable night's sleep without any back pain. All the toiletries were Bvlgari, and there were even books on the desk for a quiet read.
Before check-in, I added the butler on WeChat, who arranged a rickshaw to pick us up and even provided fresh fruit and afternoon tea. Later, when the AC in our initial room started dripping, they promptly moved us to another room without any fuss. The front desk staff were warm and greeted us every time we entered or left. What touched me most was during breakfast, my child accidentally threw away their retainer with some waste paper, and the restaurant auntie, without hesitation, sifted through the trash to find it for us – a special thank you to her.
Though the breakfast was simple, it was well-balanced and satisfying. The chicken noodle soup was excellent; my son even had two bowls. Since the hotel is located within a scenic area, there are plenty of eateries and snacks everywhere. This place perfectly blends the convenience of city life with the elegance of a garden, making it a top choice for a visit to Suzhou.

The overall environment and facilities are pretty good, definitely commendable. The staff provided quality service even during the Spring Festival, which is great. The only minor drawback is that the hotel's hardware is a bit old; the air conditioning unit is quite bulky, and when the bathroom's ceiling and wall lights are on at the same time, there's a noticeable and jarring electrical buzzing sound. I hope they can improve this in the future. The kids' play area is fantastic. Overall, it's worth recommending.

Anonymous UserThe flower arrangements in the lobby are beautiful, and you can borrow books for free. The hotel staff (Xiaoguànjiā - a term of endearment for a hotel attendant) provided thoughtful service and gave very comprehensive and thorough explanations. Issuing invoices and checking out were both very convenient. It's right next to Metro Lines 1 and 2, making it super easy to get to all the attractions. Highly recommend it to everyone!

Guest UserFive stars are good, but I'd give it six!
First, let's talk about the location: Suzhou's old town is absolutely packed on weekends, so a good hotel location is crucial for an enjoyable trip. Exit the hotel and turn right, and Pingjiang Road is just 50 meters away. Go another kilometer, and you'll find the Lotus Market at Baitai Park and the Flower and Bird Market on Pishi Street—all showcasing the best of old Suzhou. After parking at the hotel, the best way to explore is to rent an electric scooter. Feel the breeze through your hair under the trees. Within a 5-kilometer radius, you can reach almost 90% of old Suzhou's attractions. It's pure bliss!
Room facilities: If there's one minor drawback, it's that the hardware is a bit older. But then again, with such a great location and this level of service, it wouldn't be this price if it hadn't been open for a while. So, in a way, it's just the other side of the coin. Of course, the hotel has made many efforts, such as installing Washlets later on, and the linens are well-maintained. What's particularly amazing are the hotel's teas—they're truly excellent.
Breakfast: Absolutely a bonus! You must try the Cifan Tuan (sticky rice rolls), sweet with preserved mustard greens—the texture is simply first-rate. The young man making the rice rolls was also very kind, chatting as if with family. It seems they also have a seasonal dish recommendation among the stir-fries. On the day I visited, it was edamame with water bamboo, which was incredibly tender.
Finally, the overall service: The staff at the front desk, both the young men and women, were excellent. It was hot, and I appreciate their thoughtful service.
