"We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel in Shanghai. The location is excellent — you can reach many of the main central attractions on foot, which made exploring the city very convenient. Also, just a few meters across from the hotel there is a Line 2 metro station, which takes you directly to the airport, making it especially convenient when arriving or departing from Shanghai. The room was spacious and comfortable for two people with two large suitcases, and the bed was very comfortable and easily accommodated two people (1.90 m and 1.70 m tall). We really appreciated the convenient light switches that allowed us to control all the lights in the room. The bathroom was also spacious and well equipped, with a smart toilet and a separate shower. The room had everything we needed, including slippers, bathrobes, toothbrushes, bottled water, coffee and tea. Most importantly, there was no smell of cigarette smoke in the room. We stayed on the 9th floor and had a view of the street, which was nice. The room was cleaned every day, and it was also very quiet — we didn’t hear much noise either from outside or from neighboring rooms. Breakfast was not included in our booking, so we cannot comment on it. The staff were friendly and helpful. They kindly allowed us to check in earlier than the standard check-in time, and when we were leaving, we asked if we could weigh our suitcases and they were happy to help us. Overall, we had a comfortable and enjoyable stay and would be happy to stay here again."

The Manli Hotel (Shanghai Pudong Airport Branch) provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. From the hotel, Shanghai Pudong International Airport is just 9km away. The nearby area boasts an abundance of attractions including Jiangzhenshimin Square Park, Hexagonal Pavilion and Little Putuo Temple. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Shanghai hotel offers parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.

"I chose this hotel because of its convenient location close to Pudong Airport. The room was spacious, featuring a huge, comfortable bed and a complimentary bathtub, perfect for relaxing after a long journey. It also included all the necessary amenities, with thoughtful extras such as sea salts and an eye mask, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. The only downside was the wooden deck on the room’s terrace. It appeared to be very old and poorly maintained, making it unsafe to walk on. When I stepped onto it, my foot almost went through the decking, and the wood felt unstable. This is a serious maintenance issue that should be addressed for guests’ safety."

"Our stay was absolutely fantastic. We booked a deluxe king room, and it was actually more spacious than we expected, about 40 square meters. Even with the sofa bed pulled out, there was still plenty of room to move around, so a family of four wouldn't feel cramped at all. The hotel's decor is very new, with a simple and modern design. The lighting and color scheme are very pleasant. The king-size bed is huge (probably 2.4 meters wide) and there's also a sofa, a table and chairs, and a good-sized luggage area, so there's space even if you have multiple suitcases. The carpet design is quite distinctive, making the whole room feel vibrant. The bathroom is very large, and the wet and dry areas are well-separated. The shower stall is spacious, the vanity is big, and the mirror and lighting design are beautiful. Overall, it's very clean and tidy. We were traveling with children, and the sofa bed, when extended, is about 1.5 meters wide, which is enough for two kids to sleep comfortably without impacting the main living space. The hotel staff were all incredibly warm and friendly. The location is excellent, right between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. It's a 10-minute walk from the terminals and a 5-minute walk to Metro Line 2, all indoors. Overall, a perfect score! 💯"

The hotel is within walking distance to famous Shanghai landmarks such as the Bund, Nanjing East Road Pedestrian Street, Lujiazui, Xintiandi, People's Square, and Yu Garden; Adjacent to the No. 2 and No. 10 subway lines, it is convenient to enter and exit, enjoying the prosperity. The hotel has a total of 18 floors, with more than 100 luxury rooms and suites. The excellent viewing angle in the room will never miss the wonderful difference between the day and night of the Bund. Adhering to the aesthetic concept of "one city, one painting" of Puyan, the hotel creates a space that combines oriental charm and modern consciousness, perfectly presenting the Haishui culture of the Bund that has been passed down for a hundred years - modern and nostalgic, modern and retro. In this old ten-mile foreign land, today's financial hub, Puyan uses modern brushstrokes to meticulously depict the details of the iterations of time: the wonderful continuation of local traditional shapes, the exquisite carving of details, and the elegance of the East. The harmonious coexistence of the overall tone of light and dark, the minimalist art of extended lines, and the compatibility with modern rhythm. All kinds of ingenious designs create a subtle balance between modern and traditional, just like the cultural context of old Shanghai, which is both inclusive and accommodating.24-hour fitness center to keep you in shape at any time; The 18th-floor sky restaurant offers unobstructed views, allowing you to enjoy the dazzling night view of the Bund; The Chinese-style specialty restaurant interprets the authentic Shanghai local cuisine, and the star chefs skillfully prepare it, bringing a rich taste experience. The Shanghai Bund Puya Hotel offers guests a comfortable and dignified stay, as well as a cultural and artistic atmosphere, allowing guests to feel the pulse of the city and enjoy the unique charm of Shanghai's Bund.

"I had an incredible stay at this hotel, and the overall experience was absolutely wonderful. First of all, the hotel enjoys an unbeatable and prime location in Shanghai. [爱心]The transportation here is extremely convenient, allowing easy access to major scenic spots, shopping areas and city landmarks. It saves plenty of traveling time, which is perfect for tourists exploring the city. The highlight of my stay was definitely the stunning room view. From the room window, I could directly overlook the magnificent Huangpu River and the iconic Oriental Pearl Tower. The daytime scenery is bright and pleasant, while the night view is breathtaking and spectacular. As the city lights turn on at dusk, the entire riverside and tower are illuminated with gorgeous neon lights. The shimmering river water matches the brilliant city skyline, creating a dreamy and luxurious urban night scene. Watching the beautiful night view quietly in the room was extremely relaxing and healing. The panoramic view brings a fantastic visual enjoyment that perfectly represents the charm of Shanghai. Thanks to the superior location and amazing river view, this stay was unforgettable and worthwhile. I highly recommend this hotel for travelers who want to enjoy the best Shanghai night scenery."

"Located in a prime downtown spot, it's convenient for getting anywhere. Downstairs is very lively with restaurants, a food street, and a shopping complex all in one. During weekdays in summer, there were many foreign guests... and quite a few elderly Chinese too. The front desk often had queues for check-in, and there were always people waiting for taxis outside. Business was really good, yet the room offered excellent value for money! Thanks for the free upgrade to a deluxe suite~ It was newly renovated. I was on a business trip and decided to bring my mom along so she could relax and enjoy herself. **Facilities** They offer a table tennis room, a swimming pool, and a gym. No robots for food delivery pick-up though. **Hygiene** Clean. **Environment** The overall environment is good. The old five-star hotel is very well maintained; it doesn't feel old or dated. The room was newly renovated, but the sense of space wasn't huge, and the bathroom was a bit small. **Service** The service attitude was excellent and professional."

"Hotel near the airport, about a 20-30 minute drive away. They offer a free shuttle bus and parking. The soundproofing is much better than other hotels in the same price range, though it still can't compare to those in the city center. It's a good option for catching an early flight. "We have booked more nights initially, but our plan was disrupted by the typhoon unfortunately. Kudos to hotel to be willing to accommodate to our booking twice. Room is too dim for my liking, but housekeeping staff is helpful to my request. Convenient location that our favourite 莱莱小笼包 and 双喜甜品 is just a corner away. My weekend stay at the Bellagio Shanghai, operated by Suning, was a truly comfortable and relaxing urban getaway. The hotel's location and views are, of course, outstanding. Watching the Suzhou Creek and the Pudong skyline at night, all the quintessential Shanghai charm unfolded before my eyes. The hotel's aesthetic also really appealed to me; it doesn't chase flashy modernity, but instead has a timeless and understated classic feel that withstands the test of time. The room was very comfortable, especially the bedding, which was excellent, ensuring a great night's sleep. Even casual photos turned out beautifully – it's the kind of place that's pretty from any angle, without needing to deliberately find a good shot. This time, I particularly want to thank Penny. Over the years, I've stayed in many hotels, and once the hardware reaches a certain standard, it's truly the people who make the difference. Penny left me with an impression that can be summarized in two phrases: meticulous attention to detail and thorough consideration. Before and after check-in, she proactively sought to understand our preferences and needs. Many things didn't require repeated explanations; she had already thought of them in advance. What's remarkable is that this attentiveness never felt forced; she had excellent discretion, making the entire weekend feel very relaxed. One small incident, in particular, is worth mentioning. Even after her shift, Penny continued to help coordinate and arrange things for us, and she specifically clarified our personal preferences one by one. Guests may not always realize how much internal communication is involved, but the seamless experience she delivered speaks volumes about her dedication and professionalism. Good service is never just about enthusiastic words; it's about anticipating what the guest hasn't thought of, and having already arranged what the guest has thought of. Penny excelled in this regard. It was a weekend without a tight itinerary or any special plans – just enjoying the views, getting good sleep, and leisurely passing time at the hotel. Ironically, this was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing breaks I've had recently. The hardware, views, and ambiance of the Bellagio Shanghai are all worth a return visit, but what truly makes someone choose a hotel again are often these small details in the service. Thank you, Penny, for your care. I will definitely choose this hotel again and hope to see you next time.

I made a last-minute decision to stay at this hotel, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. They personally escorted me to my room, explaining all the features and amenities, and even highlighted the hotel's special services. The room offered a direct view of the Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' skyline, including the Bund and the Oriental Pearl Tower – the entire panorama was right before my eyes. Although the hotel has been around for a while, it's still very well-maintained. The breakfast selection was extensive. Overall, it was a very pleasant stay.

The hotel has a great location—the main shopping street and the waterfront are within walking distance. The metro is within walking distance, which is very important (a two-minute walk). This is especially important because, when returning to the hotel tired in the evening, we could quickly get from the metro to the hotel. I also want to express my sincere gratitude to the reception manager, Suki — she helped us arrange our domestic flight to the Avatar Mountains (we couldn't check in or choose seats). She was a very pleasant and responsible woman! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This appears to be an older hotel though maintenance was done to keep things running and clean. It is in a good location in the city for our planned activities. There was ease of access and I liked that the facility had laundry self service available on site 24 hours per day. The laundry access was the most important because I traveled light and I went in August when it was the hottest and most humid time in Shanghai. Staff were professional and greeter at the door helped with opening and closing car doors and getting luggage out of car. Hotel lobby was well lit and spacious and comfortable. My parents with my sisters got a room with a broken bathroom door and non-working phone. Once staff were informed, they were quick to move them to a different room. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to fully explore the hotel and utilize the gym and swimming pool. The hotel room I had was comfortable with everything working. It was well lit and the AC system functioned very well. The only thing I did not like was the smoke smell in the hallways. Smoking cigarettes is a huge problem in China and of course the hotel has no control over this. However they can implement better air filtration and cleaning systems as many travelers may be asthmatic or have strong allergic sensitivity to the smoke particles.

A Nostalgic Journey to Old Shanghai at the Yangtze Hotel The Yangtze Hotel, a century-old establishment, embodies the charm of old Shanghai. Built in 1933, it was once known as the 'third largest hotel in the Far East.' Though now rebranded as The Yangtze Boutique Hotel, for me, the name 'Yangtze Hotel' evokes a more elegant and romantic feel, befitting a high-end, historically preserved building. Stepping into the hotel lobby, the romantic ambiance of old Shanghai washes over you, as if traveling back in time. It makes you want to hum the tune of 'Rose, Rose, I Love You,' a song that has resonated here through the ages, becoming an eternal classic. After checking in, exploring, and taking photos, I recommend heading to the Western restaurant on the first floor for afternoon tea. The Western pastries are beautifully presented, with a wide variety of sweet options and fewer savory ones. The taste was just average, but the service was excellent. Coming here is more about soaking in the atmosphere and enjoying the sentiment that the environment and service evoke.

I stayed at the Regent Shanghai Pudong for two days with my partner. I was quite apprehensive at first because the hotel is pretty old, and I'd seen a lot of negative reviews on social media. However, since I love the Regent brand, I decided to give it a try. Turns out, the stay actually met my expectations! The front desk staff kindly upgraded our room. The executive lounge, restaurant, concierge, and other staff members were all very professional and attentive. Yesterday, before heading to Disneyland, I asked Sheldon, the front desk manager, for a blanket to use in the car for sun protection, but they didn't have a suitable one. When we checked out, Sheldon specially gave us a farewell gift and asked about our stay. The Guest Relations Specialist, Stella, was also very dedicated and meticulous. She promptly responded to all our requests and provided assistance – excellent job! The housekeeping staff did an outstanding job, very thorough. They even tidied up the room again during the turndown service in the evening. The only minor complaint was that the breakfast hostess on the first floor asked us about our drinks order and then forgot about us. We had to ask again to finally get our tea. Overall, I would still choose to stay at Regent hotels for future trips.

I stayed for two nights and was very satisfied with the hotel. The facilities were complete and well-equipped, including a smart toilet and a mini-fridge. The toiletries were good, and there were full-length, vanity, and makeup mirrors. I especially liked the thoughtful shower design: a large overhead rainfall shower for adults and a lower wall-mounted one for children. The bed was also very comfortable. The hotel's location is excellent, just about 50-60 meters to the right of Exit 2 of Dashijie Station on Line 8. It's close to Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street and The Bund, and only a stop or two away by subway. The male receptionist was polite and had a great attitude, and the cleaning staff were also very friendly and polite, always greeting everyone with a smile. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

The European Baroque style is grand, and even the basic rooms are spacious at over 70 sqm, featuring a 2.2-meter king-size bed, a balcony, and a well-designed layout that makes for a very comfortable stay. The service is warm and friendly, breakfast and the buffet are plentiful, and the pool is beautiful. It's suitable for both families with children and business travelers. The downsides are that some facilities are a bit dated since the hotel has been open for several years, the location is a bit out in the suburbs and far from the subway, a few rooms occasionally have some minor cleaning issues in corners, and the underground parking entrance is a bit narrow.
