This was my first stay at the hotel, and I decided to check it out just based on the name. To my surprise, it was pretty good! My family and I stayed here for Chinese New Year, and the room facilities were excellent. I highly recommend it!

Overall Experience:
My stay was defined by a feeling of tranquil escape. The hotel's greatest strength is its atmosphere. Being in a historic building tucked away in a quiet, leafy neighborhood just off the famous Nanjing Road created a perfect balance. I could easily walk to the buzz and shopping, but returned each time to a serene, garden-filled sanctuary. It felt more like a peaceful retreat than a standard city hotel.
Service:
The service was consistently attentive and polite. Staff were professional and quick to help with requests. The check-in and check-out process was smooth. While the service wasn't overly familiar, it was reliably good and matched the hotel's calm, understated style. I felt well taken care of.
Facilities:
The facilities are well curated but compact, focusing on quality over quantity.

First time staying at Grand Hyatt Jin Mao and I'm already a fan! It's perfectly located in the heart of Lujiazui, making transportation a breeze with no detours needed. The room was immaculately clean and well-organized, with all amenities provided. The views are expansive and unobstructed, offering a panoramic city skyline. Both the front desk and room service were excellent – friendly without being overbearing, which made me feel completely relaxed and at ease. It happened to be Chinese New Year, and while we were queuing to check in due to the crowd, the manager even gave my child a little 'Milk Dragon' toy as a gift – it was incredibly thoughtful! Even more delightful, we received a New Year's gift on the afternoon of our check-in. The cleaning staff on the 83rd floor were also so kind and had such a warm, comforting smile that even my four-year-old son said he wants to stay at this hotel again when we come to Shanghai next time! 🏨

The windowless room was really stuffy, but everything else was okay. I mainly want to talk about the bathroom. The shower stall was incredibly tiny. There was no shelf to put anything on, and while I can overlook the lack of conditioner, I had nowhere to put my own conditioner, nor the towel. The showerhead only twisted to the right; no matter how much I turned it, it wouldn't rotate properly. What you see is after I managed to twist it a bit, but it just spun back as soon as I turned on the water. When the room door was locked, there was an intermittent beeping sound from the bottom. The room was quite soundproof, which was a good point.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Wonderful Stay – Truly Unforgettable Experience
We had an absolutely amazing stay at this hotel and would like to give our highest possible recommendation from the bottom of our hearts.
From the very first moment we arrived, we felt not like ordinary guests, but like truly welcome and valued people. The atmosphere in the hotel is incredibly warm, calm, and pleasant — it really feels like a place where you can fully relax and enjoy your time.
The room was perfect: extremely clean, well-maintained, beautifully prepared, and what impressed us especially was the fresh and pleasant smell — everything felt cozy, comfortable, and carefully looked after. Housekeeping is doing an excellent job, and cleanliness is clearly a top priority here.
Breakfast was delicious and enjoyable, with fresh and tasty food that gave us a great start to each day. We truly looked forward to breakfast every morning.
One of the biggest highlights of our stay was the reception team. The girls and boys at the front desk are not only friendly, but also highly professional, attentive, and genuinely caring.
We would like to give special thanks to Nini (妮妮). From the very beginning, she helped us with a serious personal issue during our stay. We faced a big problem, and thanks to her patience, responsibility, and sincere desire to help, she supported us step by step and even helped us get our money back.
This level of care is far beyond standard hotel service. She proved that the reception team here is not just present for formalities — they truly help guests solve real and important problems. We are deeply grateful to her.
The entire reception team always tried to accommodate our requests in every possible way, making sure our stay was comfortable and stress-free. Their attitude made us feel truly cared for.
Another lovely detail was the availability of bath salt, which made our evenings especially relaxing after a long day. Small thoughtful touches like this make a big difference.
We traveled as a couple and spent our time here almost like a honeymoon. It was a romantic, peaceful, and joyful experience. We rested deeply, felt refreshed, and were completely satisfied with the hotel, the service, and the whole team.
We are extremely happy with our stay and can confidently say that we will definitely return.
Thank you so much to the entire hotel team — especially Nini — for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience. You are doing an outstanding job!

The Radisson Blu New World in Shanghai was truly a memorable stay, perfectly located in the heart of the city near People’s Square and the vibrant Nanjing Road area, which made exploring incredibly convenient. The hotel itself feels grand yet welcoming, with spacious rooms, comfortable amenities, and stunning views over the Shanghai skyline that instantly set the tone for a special visit.
One of the absolute highlights was visiting the iconic revolving restaurant, Epicure on 45. Dining there felt like an experience rather than just a meal — as the restaurant slowly rotated, we were treated to breathtaking 360-degree panoramic views of the city, watching Shanghai unfold from every angle. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and it created such a unique moment to enjoy both the cuisine and the scenery at the same time.
Watching the city lights come alive during the evening was unforgettable, especially while enjoying the revolving view high above the skyline. Seeing the Shanghai light show from this vantage point added a magical touch — the illuminated buildings and vibrant energy of the city made the experience feel truly special and almost cinematic.
Overall, the Radisson Blu New World offers a fantastic combination of location, comfort, and unique experiences. From attentive service to the unforgettable revolving restaurant and spectacular night views, it’s a hotel that turns a stay in Shanghai into something memorable and unique. I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a central location with a touch of luxury and one-of-a-kind views.

The hotel's location is excellent, with plenty of great food options just across the street, and the riverside promenade is only a hundred meters away. The views from the hotel are fantastic, whether it's the river view or the city view.
The service attitude was good, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, I have to mention that due to the older facilities, the air conditioning failed on the first day, making the room incredibly hot, though it worked fine on the second day.
Overall, the stay experience in the Zijin Building was quite satisfactory.

GGuest User2026.02.14
This is the most convenient hotel for transfers at Pudong Airport. You can reach it in just 10 minutes from the terminal building via a direct passage. The room was clean and tidy, and despite being inside the airport, the soundproofing was excellent. The downsides are that there's no gym and only two small complimentary bottles of water are provided in the room. Also, the hotel restaurant has very limited dinner options, but thankfully there are plenty of fast food places not far outside.

Excellent as always! I'm probably a returning guest, and the front desk staff kindly arranged an executive floor room for me. The view was expansive, with the full panorama of the Huangpu River nightscape right there – a true river view room. All the staff I encountered were incredibly warm and attentive, thank you 🙏.
The half-star deduction this time is because the mattress felt uneven last night for some reason. There was a noise from the bed frame whenever I slightly turned over. The housekeepers wouldn't hear it when making the bed unless they actually lay on it. I suggest following up on this bed noise issue, specifically in room 3822.

The Shanghai SK Hotel is a long-standing luxury hotel located in Lujiazui. Its location is excellent, within walking distance of the Huangpu River and the Oriental Pearl TV Tower. The river view rooms offer superb views, with dazzling lights and a charming cityscape at night. The rooms are spacious and clean, and I particularly liked the bathroom layout.
However, there's room for improvement regarding the check-in speed.
Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations and I would definitely recommend it.

GGuest UserStayed at the Banyan Tree on the Bund with my parents during Chinese New Year. Every staff member we encountered was incredibly warm and patient. The rooms are genuinely spacious, and the scallion oil noodles for breakfast were absolutely delicious – a must-order every morning! The hotel's location is also excellent, in North Bund. When choosing a hotel, I was debating whether to stay directly on the Bund, and now I'm so glad I didn't. It's truly too crowded there during peak tourist season. This location is much better, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. And here's the best part: we got upgraded to a Bund river-view room, and the view was absolutely unbeatable. The room rate felt entirely worth it. Next time I'm in Shanghai, Banyan Tree will definitely be my top choice.
GGuest UserDuring our stay, we did not identify any significant shortcomings in the hotel. Its prime location, where it is easily accessible on foot to the Bund, was a notable feature. The room conditions were excellent, with thorough cleaning and hygiene measures in place, and the facilities functioned properly. The hotel’s amenities, such as the laundry facilities, added practical value and were more than just marketing gimmicks. The staff at the front desk, Xiao Qin and Xiao Wu, demonstrated professionalism and were able to efficiently address guests’ needs. Overall, considering the balance of cost and quality, this hotel is a safe and reliable choice, with strong performance across all aspects.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is conveniently located for transportation and shopping, with a 24-hour convenience store downstairs. Marry Liu at the front desk provided excellent service with a smile. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was comfortable, and the soundproofing was good. There were even complimentary welcome drinks in the mini-fridge. Overall, it was a pretty good stay.

MMelody mengA very satisfying stay. The room was incredibly clean; even though it's an older hotel, it smelled fresh with no peculiar odors. The room facilities weren't outdated either, feeling quite high-quality. The service was excellent, with staff from the front desk to housekeeping being warm and attentive.
The surrounding area has plenty of businesses, with a rich variety of Chinese and international restaurants and snacks. The hotel entrance is right at People's Square subway station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around.
The only minor regret is that the classic red roses were replaced with pink ones. Personally, I think the red ones were more elegant and timeless.
LLinlinzi5-star review for SSAW Hotel! Excellent location, within walking distance to Yu Garden and the Bund, and very close to the subway station, making travel extremely convenient ✨. The service is thoughtful and attentive, the rooms are clean and comfortable with soft bedding, plus a free minibar and a hearty breakfast. The stay experience is perfect, and I will definitely come back next time~
GGuest UserI recently stayed at the Courtyard Marriott in Fengxian, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The hotel strikes a great balance between comfort, service, and modern design.
Rooms:
The room was spacious, clean, and well-appointed with thoughtful touches. The bed was especially comfortable, and I appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower. Everything felt fresh and well-maintained, contributing to a relaxing environment after a long day.
Service:
The staff was consistently professional and attentive. Check-in and check-out were both smooth, and any requests I made were handled promptly. While not everyone spoke fluent English, they were eager to assist and always did so with a positive attitude.
Dining:
Breakfast offered a good mix of local and Western dishes. I found the variety and quality to be above average for a business hotel. The restaurant staff was courteous and ensured the dining area remained clean and well-stocked throughout service.
Facilities:
The gym and public areas were clean and modern. I didn’t get a chance to use the meeting rooms, but they looked well-equipped. The hotel also had a calm, business-friendly atmosphere that made it ideal for both work and rest.
Location:
Situated in Fengxian, it’s a bit outside central Shanghai, but perfect if you have business in the area. It’s relatively easy to access via Didi or taxi. The nearby surroundings are quiet and safe, with a few local restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance.
Overall:
A solid choice for both business and leisure travelers seeking comfort and consistency in Fengxian. I would definitely consider staying here again and recommend it to others looking for a dependable Marriott experience outside the city center.
GGuest UserStaying right in the heart of Lujiazui! The night view of the 'Lujiazui Three-Piece Suit' from here is absolutely stunning 🌃
Finally got to check into the much-anticipated Regent Shanghai Pudong!
It truly lives up to its reputation as a Lujiazui landmark!
The views are absolutely fantastic 💓
Just a 15-minute walk to the Oriental Pearl TV Tower.
Super convenient for shopping and dining at IFC and Super Brand Mall~
-
🔖 I did my research before checking in.
Choosing to stay on the 35th-floor 'Regent Club' level allows you to enjoy 'exclusive privileges' 💡
Breakfast, afternoon tea, and Happy Hour can all be enjoyed directly at the 'Regent Club'‼️
Especially after sunset, sitting by the window feels incredibly special!
-
Back in the bright and spacious room,
The Lujiazui 'Three-Piece Suit' is framed perfectly outside the window.
Now I get to experience the daily view of financial elites too~ Hehe 😎

Dinner was at the hotel's 2nd-floor Jade Garden Chinese Restaurant.
The classical Chinese-inspired design creates a very stylish ambiance~
Their 'Ginger and Scallion Shrimp Claypot' and 'Cherry Blossom Shrimp Scallion Oil Noodles' truly amazed me! #Output format: Return the result in JSON format, with 'translation' as the key.
__WeChat317249****First off, let's talk about the location. It's right in the city center, making it super convenient to get to all the attractions. Yu Garden is just one subway stop away, and Jing'an Temple is two stops. Taxis are also very affordable, costing around ten-odd yuan to get almost anywhere. Of course, walking or biking can be fun too; for example, on the way to the Bund, passing by Fuzhou Road, I was pleasantly surprised to discover classic eateries like Lao Zheng Xing and Wang Bao He, and the sculptures on the foreign language bookstore's facade were truly unique!
Then there's the hotel building itself, which has such a rich sense of history. Especially the staircase on the first floor – it must be original, with its delicate carvings and natural wear. Every time I went up and down, it felt like I was traveling back to the 1930s...
The room was incredibly quiet, ensuring a great night's sleep.
Dining is also very convenient. Although the hotel doesn't have a restaurant, there are places like Xiao Jinling and Xiao Shaoxing in the small street behind it, offering delicious and reasonably priced food. I stayed for several days and still couldn't get enough. If you prefer bolder flavors, there are also spicy crayfish, Ma Du, and Liu Dongliang Food Stall nearby.
I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Shanghai.

GGuest UserBeautiful hotel overall. outdoor pool not available. Indoor pool & gym don't open until 9am which is very inconvenient for some. Young children are allowed in the gym. They made a lot of noise which is not appropriate.
The room temperature is high. during day time the room is hot and at night it's still too warm to sleep comfortably.
AAnonymous UserOur stay coincided with the hotel's Chinese New Year celebrations, and the atmosphere was even better than we expected. The lobby was decorated festively with red and gold, yet it wasn't tacky. Every afternoon, there were interactive activities like writing Spring Festival couplets and making dumplings, which really added to the holiday spirit. The New Year's special menu at the restaurant was excellent value; every dish had a auspicious meaning, and the taste was spot-on. My whole family thoroughly enjoyed it.
The room, as always, was clean and comfortable. Upon check-in, the staff thoughtfully informed us of the activity schedule and even helped us reserve a window seat for our New Year's Eve dinner. Penny provided excellent service. We'll definitely consider coming back here for future holidays.
