Staying at Atour again! When I was checking in, a lovely staff member told me that if I had any complaints, I should let the front desk know, and they'd help resolve or change things for me. I was thrilled! In the past, I used to be very particular about whether my room faced the street and was sensitive to noise. However, after practicing Vipassanā meditation, my adaptability has greatly improved, to the point where I can even sleep when someone is snoring. I realized my room did face the street, but I didn't even want to change it. I also wanted to test the results of my meditation practice. Since the staff member specifically mentioned their service, while I was unpacking, I discovered I hadn't brought hand cream. I called the front desk, and they said if I was the only one who needed it, they could send one up for free. It's usually a chargeable item. Haha. (Maybe it was a perk from a group booking.) Undoubtedly, Atour's hardware is already excellent, from its design and unique bedding (bare cotton four-piece set) to the room's decor and the sports facilities in the lobby, like yoga mats and yoga blocks. Now, Atour has upgraded its thoughtful and human-centric services even further. In several prominent spots in the room, there are QR codes for Atour's mini-program, prominently labeled ”Scan to complain, and you shall receive a response.” In fact, some customers aren't just complaining; they might offer reasonable suggestions based on their experience. There's an Atour complimentary services card on the desk: 1. After 9:30 PM, the restaurant offers free porridge and side dishes. Last time I stayed at Atour, they even had some main dishes like buns and siu mai. 2. If you check out before 7 AM, they offer a packed breakfast service, which can be reserved at the front desk. ❤️ This seems like a new improvement! It's very thoughtful, especially for us commuters rushing for transportation. Haha. 3. The self-service laundry room and gym go without saying. One day, I accidentally stained my white shirt. I got back past 11 PM, and there were no empty washing machines. So, I put my clothes in the basket, wrote down my room number and request (wash and dry). The next morning, I found the clothes hanging at my door. 4. What I particularly like is Atour's Zhuju on the first floor (which is a stylish library and meeting room). Atour selects books that usually have a unique flair, somewhat comparable to The Mix-Place. 5. Regarding service: I once stayed at a hotel where the front desk provided emergency services like cold medicine and band-aids. 😊 I also saw a dedicated medical care room at Beijing Daxing International Airport. It's precisely due to the rise of mid-range chain hotels like Atour that the number of five-star hotels in China decreased from 850 in 2020 to 736 in 2024. In first-tier cities like Beijing and Shanghai, the occupancy rates of five-star hotels continue to decline year-on-year, leading to a wave of asset sales. In fact, the room rates for five-star hotels are no longer high, having dropped to an average of over 500 yuan. However, due to their vague brand positioning and aging facilities in recent years, consumers have shifted towards this type of mid-to-high-end chain hotel, which offers better value for money and service.

Great customer service. Especially Liang. He was very helpful when we checked in and also on our last day. Asked if we need anything and agreed to our request for a late checkout as our flight was in the evening. Hotel is centrally located within walking distance to food, shopping and entertainment.

I found this hotel on Ctrip with a high rating and it definitely didn't disappoint. It offers a prime lake view, and the room facilities, quality, and service are all top-notch. Downstairs is Huizhou West Lake, and our room type had a 180-degree lake view. We initially planned to stay for one night but ended up extending to two. Plus, it's super convenient for dining and shopping right downstairs. The only minor drawback is that parking can be a bit tight, but all the other advantages more than make up for it, especially given its excellent location. Definitely worth choosing, highly recommend! 👍👍👍

We were crossing over to Macau early the next morning, and this hotel's proximity to the border crossing was incredibly convenient. From our room, we could see both Gongbei and Qingmao. The front desk service was excellent. Our group had three rooms, and even though we arrived at different times, they were able to pre-assign all our rooms on the same floor! The room amenities and small necessities were all well-stocked; you don't even need to bring a charging cable. 😀

The reason why I picked this hotel is because of the location that is right at the center of Jiangmen. Parks, museums, mall surrounding this place as well ad tons of great attractions and restaurants. Great grand reception and 5 star services and smile from all fellows among the hotel. Lovel!y Nice indoor swimming, but PLEASE a warmer water would be much more family friendly. Thank you. Free underground parking with direct path and lift to the lobby, perfect. First, about the room – it was actually quite good. They honored my request for a non-smoking room, and there was no smell, which is rare. My family is very sensitive to odors, so the hotel did a great job in this regard. However, the young man who showed me to the room was a bit unhelpful; when I asked him what type of room was next door, he told me to ask the front desk downstairs. A slight issue: as busy as it was (see picture), with so many people storing luggage, why couldn't they assign more staff? People storing luggage weren't queuing, and neither were those entering license plates, which completely overwhelmed the young man. I waited for a long time before I could even speak to him. Also, even though the hotel had called me before check-in and I specifically requested rooms on the same floor, at check-in they told me one of the rooms had been upgraded but wasn't on the same floor… What kind of operation is that? I clearly asked for the same floor because your hotel's key cards don't work on other floors, which isn't suitable for families who need to look after each other. I don't understand why they upgraded me but put us on two different floors, only to then move us back to the same floor. The girl who handled that didn't even smile; her mask was pulled down to her chin, and she looked exhausted. Honestly, if it's too much, just hire more people. As I was going up to the room, they even asked me for a five-star review. I originally didn't want to give it, but Oliva at the front desk helped me a great deal that day, so this five-star rating is for her, and she earned it for you.

This time, the hot spring room we stayed in with the kids was absolutely perfect. It came with a private hot tub, offering excellent privacy, so we didn't have to worry about disturbances. We could soak in the hot spring and enjoy the surrounding greenery – it was so tranquil and comfortable. The room decor was elegant and cozy, the bedding was soft, and the overall environment was clean and tidy, allowing for complete relaxation. The biggest surprise was the hotel's kids' activity center; it completely captured my child's heart! Indoors, there's a craft area, a music and reading room, and a ball pit. Outdoors, there's a sandpit, a climbing area, and a small vegetable garden. The variety of activities is incredibly rich: kids can do crafts, play instruments, and even experience watering plants and gardening – it's full of creativity. My child had a blast playing there, and adults didn't have to worry about entertaining them. Additionally, the Chinese restaurant's offerings were superb. It specializes in authentic Cantonese cuisine, with fresh and genuine ingredients, and the dishes were exquisite and delicious. The hotel's overall service was attentive, and the facilities were comprehensive. It's super suitable for both family vacations with kids and relaxing getaways. It has already been added to our list for a second visit!

Extremely satisfied with this stay! The service was consistently thoughtful and attentive, from check-in to check-out. The location is excellent, providing a quiet retreat in a bustling area, making it both convenient and peaceful. The soundproofing was superb, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The facilities were practical and convenient, and the breakfast offered a rich and varied selection – definitely a thumbs up!

The hotel facilities was great. The room had everything you would need for a complete stay with kitchen and washing facilities right in your room. There was a convenience store just right beside the main lobby for everything that you might need. Was also surprised to see a real big indoor swimming pool facility at the end of the hotel. Location was right Infront of the scenic area so it's just a short walk to where you can rent bikes to ride around the park. A special note goes to the hotel lobby staff Lisa Li who was super helpful and checked on whether I needed any assistance daily throughout my stay.

This hotel is genuinely great! It's easy to find and conveniently located, making it very hassle-free for getting around. The room was clean with no strange smells, the bed was comfortable, and both the hot water and air conditioning worked perfectly. The front desk staff were friendly, check-in was quick, and they responded promptly to any issues. The cleanliness was spot-on, and it offers good value for money. I'd definitely consider staying here again next time and recommend it to anyone who needs a good place to stay~
