I arrived in Haikou around the 12pm, and waited for a 14 hour transfer flight to Sydney. So I booked this hotel. The hotel is close to terminal 1, I took the airport bus from terminal 2 to terminal 1, just across the road and went to the shopping centre, you can see the sign to go to the hotel and take the lift to level 1, the lobby is there. So easy going there. Also you can waiting for hotel shuttle bus.

We stayed in the apartment building at Baohong two times this summer. In August there was a receptionist there))) which we did not know and checked-in in the main building. The staff do not speak English at all, but that was no problem because everyone was congenial and used mobiles when they needed to explain something. The swimming pool really helped in August because swimming in the sea was prohibited half of our days.

An absolutely amazing stay and the best value for money hotel I have ever stayed at. The check in experience was top notch and fine quickly without any fuss. The room is luxurious for the price with both a shower as well as a bath and the room is cleaned to a very high standard every day. In addition you are allowed to use the beautiful swimming pool in the hotel opposite. The hotel is only a short walk from the beach and is very close to great restaurants and bars in the area. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location on Da Dong Hai beach and a few minutes walk to the swimming area on the beach. We booked the suite with terrace and it was absolutely amazing with lots of space and a plunge pool for our 4 year old to play in. Room cleaned on command and Abby - the housekeeper - gave me her WeChat on day 1 and was always so helpful and attentive. She even went as far as getting information on things for us and even booking in a massage (which I highly recommend from Bella) who was petite but very strong and knew how to hit the right spots. Breakfast and dinner were fine with plenty of choice of both Chinese and western with beers and soft drinks available too. My only gripe was being told the pool opens at 10am and upon explaining to the management that the pool is the main feature for any holiday resort along with the room, when you have a child that wakes up early, the pool should be available early like every other hotel we have stayed in and to be fair to the management, they agreed for it to be open for use from 8am. The tv package in the room was great and my son had plenty of choice of English cartoons including Peppa Pig. I would say this hotel is a solid 4 star hotel though and not a 5 star like the Shanghaitian Hotel next door where we’ve stayed before. The pool could do with some more deck chairs as they are quite limited. The pool could also do with some signs to tell the Chinese guests not to spit around the pool or even inside the pool which is disgusting and really off putting to foreign guests - which the hotel has a lot of! The room/suite could do with a few more power ports/usb and hooks in the bathroom. The toilet is very far away from the pool, you have to go all the way back inside the hotel almost to reception to use the toilet so if you are soaking wet but need the toilet then this could be dangerous and also encourages guests to release themselves in the pool instead which is unhygienic. All in all though, we would definitely stay here again.

The outdoor pool was a highlight for me, with its warm water and distinct sections for adults and children. The breakfast buffet was fantastic, featuring a wide array of local and Western options. I especially enjoyed the freshly cooked noodles and the tropical fruit selection. What made my stay truly memorable was the exceptional service from the staff, especially Jason at the front desk. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for me, offering great recommendations and always greeting me with a warm smile. His professionalism and friendliness really stood out. Overall, Palace Resort Yalong Bay is a gem. It offers comfort, convenience, and outstanding service at a great value. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with family, it’s a fantastic choice for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Sanya.

Clean rooms. The beautiful view opens from the room. Cleaning room every day. The staff is friendly, good location. There are disposable toothbrushes, disposable hygiene items, 2 bottles of water give every day. The price as for such hotel, is very pleasant

Food is delicious, rich variety. Room is clean. You can walk to the beach. It takes 5-10 mins. It’s near to the summer and pineapple malls. There is a free shuttle bus to duty free mall. You can take info from the front desk. We enjoyed our stay.

We loved this quaint little place. Off the main shopping street so it’s a bit less busy but still close enough to make for easy access. Right on the beach which is both a good thing and potentially a slight issue for those wanting a place that is quiet at night. You will have to deal with the club music from a couple other beachside places who play loud music (albeit good and live) until 23:00 every night. The highlights for us would be the service which was incredibly nice and helpful. The resident dog was also a big highlight for us as she (Muo Muo) was so sweet. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the facilities were comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who doesn’t have an issue with late night music.

The location is spot on. Right on the end of the Dadonghai stretch. Prime location to start a good beach walk. The breakfast until 13:30 is a perfect and they have a great variety. Suitable for westerners. Very family friendly which for me as a downfall but for obvious reasons can be seen as a plus. The gym was well equipped and the infinity pool was kept warm which was nice. The staff was very helpful. I initially booked for 5 nights and prolonged to 7. You get your money’s worth out of this one. The view from the room was spectacular and so was the bath tub. No privacy in the bathroom if you’re sharing though and no hooks to hang towels and robes.

We had very pleasant stay in this hotel. Facilities are convenient for family stay as it has water park and adventure zone within 5 minutes walking distance. Also service and stuff were friendly and assistive all time. Especially thank to Perou who is very kind speaks English. She helped us a lot to solve some minor problems such us fixing kettle. Will definitely stay this hotel again at the end our holiday. Already booked this hotel in this January

The location of the hotel was perfect, only a few minutes walk to the beach. There is a connecting bridge to the beach from the hotel. Many restaurants around, with live bands to enjoy by the beach. Wide variety of selections for breakfast, too. 2 swimming pools, one is kids friendly and one infinity pool.

Conveniently located opposite a big shopping mall. Hotel is very new which uses high technology equipments like my girl's favourite entertainer 'xiao du' which is the room 'helper' will switch on/off TV, radio, curtains etc. Personally, I'm impressed with the latest blameless hair dryer which gets my hair dry fast. Most importantly, Hotel provides free use of high tech washing machine and dryer. Without it, I would have a hard type once back home with loads of dirty clothes to wash. That is why I've rebooted this hotel a couple of times during the stay, 1 whole week to be exact. Service is fast too. As the hotel is relatively still new, would be good and look forward if they include swimming pool and a gym soon. Highly recommended.

I recently stayed at this 5-star hotel, and I must say, the experience exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting us with warm smiles and making sure we had everything we needed. A special shout-out to the Manager, Justin, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. His attention to detail and willingness to assist at any moment truly made a difference. The hotel itself is stunning, with luxurious amenities and a relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for exceptional service and a memorable stay. We are very satisfied with the hotel. Xiao Pang's service is especially nice. He arranged the room romantically according to our request. The gym is fully equipped and the glass decoration makes it seem like outdoors. There are both indoor and outdoor swimming pools. It's wonderful to relax here during leisure time. When we arrived, the colleague on the first floor, noticing there were many of us, helped send our luggage to the room after check-in. It was very considerate. This is a happy stop. Although this journey has come to an end for the moment, see you next time.

Great location, hotel is nice and fancy. Grand lobby as you enter. The only downside of the outdoor pool is that you can’t use it when there’s a chance of thunderstorm and considering the Haikou weather, this is quite frequent. You are also forced to wear a swimming cap in the pool, which some do not prefer.

It's an old-fashioned hotel, but the transportation is very convenient, right next to Longhu Commercial. I came here originally to swim, but it was too cold in winter, so I didn't go in the water. The customer service was very good. I forgot my down jacket, and they helped me pack it and I took it when I went back. It was still a very good stay experience

We stayed three nights at Hilton Haikou and got the residence apartment. The view was gorgeous at lvl 29, the bed was comfy and room was spacious. It was very easy to take a didi car to qi Lou old street and haikou century bridge. There could be a bit of a jam during peak hour so do be mindful. At the back of the hotel, it's linked to a mall with a supermarket and coconut steamboat so it's pretty convenient. Buffet breakfast was yum, the waffles were the best compared to other hotels at Sanya and ocean flower island, the hainan rice noodle was delicious and the freshly fried youtiao. We wish there could be more variety but overall we enjoyed our stay

This is our first trip to Haikou, although we have been to Sanya a few times. The Langham Haikou is conveniently located, there are shopping malls, shops and restaurants nearby. The swimming pool is clean with nice view, esp. for taking photos. It definitely has a resort feel. All the staff provide excellent services, including Concierge and Front Office. Special thanks to Miss Julie Wang who is always helpful and caring in all aspects, and she upgraded us to a sea view room with stunning view! Deeply appreciated! The room is spacious and cozy, very comfortable. We will come back to stay again in the near future.

Breakfast had a vast selection, but none of it was very good. The sushi would make a Japanese person cry, the sausages and bacon would make an English person cry and you would get a better Chinese breakfast for 10RMB at a local market (baozi and yotiao are from frozen). The main reason for choosing this hotel over other options was the kids club. Unfortunately it is rubbish. A single member of staff doing some origami with leaves or basic art/craft. Requires adult supervision. Very disappointing by international standards. Hotel is very grand, but not maintained to the standard you would expect from the brand. Design of the hotel does not lend itself to Haikou's climate, the communal spaces are not aircondionable and so it is uncomfortably hot. Pool was good, but again needs maintenance. Children especially enjoyed the foam cannon. Room was spacious, clean and cool. Coffee is good. At the time of writing they offer ”good night” as a free gift which is a lavender spray. They also offer a free drink on arrival - which just means help yourself to a drink from the fridge in your room. Overall I would recommend paying a bit less and going with a newer hotel closer to the city.

Lovely hotel with a very big (heated) pool. Walking distance to some bars and restaurants along the beach front. Go to the top floor for an awesome view and some acupuncture on your feet!

Compared to opening a blind box room in an old hotel, I would rather trust the cleanliness of a new hotel. The actual check-in experience did not disappoint me. The day before check-in, the housekeeper Jiayu took the initiative to add WeChat. When she heard that my family and I were traveling with two old ladies over 80 years old and had inconvenient legs and feet, she immediately agreed to arrange a wheelchair, which brought a lot of help to the trip. convenience. Jiayu also responded quickly to small problems encountered and took the initiative to help solve them. Located on an isolated island with a good omen of “鳌”. Nice experience staying there with the remarkable views all around the island. The staff from the golf club were very rude not allowing visitors walk on the wooden walkway during the entire daytime for some bureaucratic and prerogative reasons which were non-transparent and unacceptable. The food and services were at average level comparing with others.

The hotel experience this time was poor, and the price-performance ratio was seriously inconsistent. The price was high, but the actual experience was like a fast hotel, and the facilities and services were far from the corresponding level. The weather was cold and the water temperature was too cold to go in the water. It should have been equipped with a constant temperature swimming pool of about 30 degrees. The interior of the hotel looks beautiful but deserted and not very popular. Although the service staff is okay and can open the pool separately, there are not many pools. The beach in front of the hotel was beautiful. We went for kitesurfing on this side of Hainan and the location was great. The hotel is nice, although there are some parts of the façade that need some wall painting. The big pool is very nice (also need some upgrading though). all in all it was a nice hotel. Chinese food in the restaurant was very tasty and good quality. Breakfast buffet was nice as well (Mostly chinese dishes ewhich we love, but had bread, butter, marmalade and coffee). The reception is helpful, but is better if you speak chinese. the is a (automatic-no staff) supermarket and indoor playground. We had a good time. To go to other restaurants, we had to take taxi, but easy to do with DiDi.

Beautiful hotel, great location, and to top it all, we've met a team of staff who are nice, warm and friendly. Special thanks to hotel lobby manager-in-charge (a young lady whose name we don't know), hotel nurse (we don't have her name either) and hotel customer service C C. During our stay at the hotel, my wife slipped and hurt her left foot while taking a walk outside near the pool. It's very kind of them to have provided us heart-warming service and help. We will surely choose to live here again if coming to Hainan, and we'll also recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues.

The hotel we booked together arranged very nice rooms for us. The weather in Hainan is quite warm, the hotel has a great sea view, and the front desk lady is very nice. There is nothing to choose from for this price and this level of hotel, and it also includes a buffet breakfast, which is very cost-effective. The only thing that is not very friendly to tourists is that there is no free laundry and drying. There are so many people and they charge per piece, which is a bit expensive. The front desk lady suggested that we just wash by hand. It is really good to have a large balcony, so that the clothes can be dried the next day.

During the March 3rd holiday, we drove from the main venue in Nanning to the branch venue in Hainan😀 (I heard that the Li people in Hainan also celebrate March 3rd). When we crossed the ferry, almost all the cars were Gui ABC. We ate seafood noodles, Wenchang chicken, coconut juice, and drove along the coastal highway. We are very grateful to the manager for upgrading our family to a suite that usually sells for more than 3,000 yuan, and giving us two more breakfasts. The flattered joy came too suddenly😁. The 150-square-meter suite with two living rooms, two bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms is as comfortable as at home. It’s so good to live! Before going to bed, the waiter also brought Tremella soup and fruit, which is so thoughtful! The surrounding environment was very quiet at night, and the air conditioning temperature was just right, so I had a good night's sleep. In the morning, I woke up lazily to the chirping of birds and cicadas, and had a bowl of Hainan soup noodles, Qingbuliang, etc. among the various delicacies in the restaurant.
