Overall, a pretty satisfying stay. It's an older hotel from 2014, so you can definitely see signs of age. The maintenance of facilities and equipment could be better, especially the shower in the room and the changing rooms in the fitness center. The hygiene is good, but there's still room for improvement. The environment is excellent, and the location is fantastic; you can walk to the Tianjin Eye, and the views are first-class. But the best part was the service! Both the check-in and check-out experiences at the front desk were impressive. The front desk staff and even the manager greeted us, and they gave a small cake to our child. I especially want to commend Alice Zhang from the fitness center; both times I encountered her, she provided wonderful service ā it felt truly refreshing!
The hotel offers great value for money, and the price is affordable. However, I genuinely hope they can effectively maintain the facilities and equipment to match the outstanding service the hotel provides.

Returning to the St. Regis Tianjin after dark, this hotel, nestled along the Hai River, is one of Tianjin's iconic landmarks, with its hollow cube design echoing the concept of 'Jinmen' (Tianjin's historical gate). That evening, I stumbled upon a champagne sabering event for guests. Sipping a glass of champagne, I relaxed in the outdoor seating area, quietly observing the bustling Hai River and the throng of tourists ā it was incredibly pleasant. I had a surprisingly peaceful night's sleep, much quieter than I anticipated. The next morning, breakfast on the first floor was unexpectedly crowded, but the service was exceptionally standard and well-organized. They even had Tianjin local snacks like Jianbing Guozi, which was very satisfying. Afterward, I headed to the gym to work out and unwind, then returned to my room for a brief rest, enjoying the riverfront view. It was a perfect end to my Tianjin trip. #Tianjin #CityGuideOfficial

The location of Holiday Inn Express Tianjin Heping is a huge plus! It's right next to a commercial district and a subway station, making getting around and shopping super convenient. The facilities are a bit old, showing their age, but overall it's clean and tidy, which doesn't affect the stay. The breakfast offers a wide variety, with hot dishes, main courses, and fruits all readily available and tasting great. The front desk service was especially thoughtful; check-in and check-out were efficient, and they even proactively offered tips for local sightseeing. It offers great value for money. If you're particular about older facilities, you might want to reconsider, but if you prioritize location, breakfast, and service, it's definitely worth recommending!

This hotel is a great location in Tianjin city and very convenient to get public transport and a few eateries nearby the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. The cleaner lady is also friendly and helpful as well as listening to my personal request to clean my room at a convenient time. The receptionist staff is so awesome and amazing as she has upgraded my room with a deluxe bigger room with the panoramic city view in the east direction to watch sunrise from my room. I gave this hotel a top recommendation to everyone who wishes to stay here. I gave an outstanding rating for best value and service for the type of room I stayed for 4 days.

This was my first stay at the Banyan Tree Tianjin Haihe, and overall, the experience was quite good.
**Service**: From the welcoming staff to the front desk personnel, the breakfast restaurant employees, and every staff member I encountered, everyone was incredibly enthusiastic, friendly, and kind.
**Room**: The room size is quite large compared to other hotels in the same category. The separation of the living area and the bathing area is a bit unconventional, but the oversized bathtub was absolutely amazing! The scent on the guest room floors was also very pleasant.
**Details**: The containers in the room had a nice texture. The patterns on the slippers and bathrobes, which I believe are extensions of the hotel's logo, were very well-designed and looked great.
**Breakfast**: They even had milk skin tanghulu (candied hawthorn on a stick)!

The hotel boasts a superb downtown location, surrounded by a vast array of dining options, including local specialties like Jianbing Guozi. Directly opposite stands the historic Dengyinglou Restaurant; however, I wouldn't recommend it. We visited once to find it quite deserted, and to our surprise, they couldn't even prepare dishes like 'Eight Treasure Tofu.' For leisure, the Wudadao Historic Cultural Area and Minyuan Plaza 1902 Streetāboth culinary hotspots and popular Instagrammable spotsāare just a short stroll away. Excellent shopping opportunities at Joy City (Heping District branch), IFS, Gili Building, and Binjiangdao are also conveniently within walking distance.
The hotel rooms are spotlessly clean, and the bedding is fresh and odor-free. Despite its age, the hotel is remarkably well-maintained, a testament to their attention to detail. The service staff were excellent, and a major plus, especially for those driving, is the hotel's underground parking. Breakfast is a highlight, offering a rich buffet with a blend of Chinese and Western dishes, alongside local specialties such as Jianbing Guozi and Gaba Cai. Highly recommended!

As a frequent business traveler, this hotel really hit all the right notes for me! The location is absolutely fantastic ā only a five-minute walk from the subway station, and I never hit traffic on the way to my clients' offices. The soundproofing in the room is excellent; once the door was closed, I couldn't hear any noise from the hallway, which meant I slept really soundly every night. The high-speed WiFi didn't even stutter during video conferences. The hotel's self-service laundry room is open 24/7, and they even have delivery robots for food orders, which is incredibly convenient for business people who need to stay on top of things. The value for money is outstanding. This hotel has definitely made it onto my go-to list for business trips! And a special thanks to Allen for his service during my stay.

During New Year's Day, I had my first stay at the Astor Hotel in Tianjin, a hotel with a profound sense of history. While it had its commendable aspects, there were also numerous shortcomings that urgently need improvement. I was particularly disappointed with the hotel's facility maintenance and service management, and I am providing this feedback accordingly.
First, let's discuss the hotel's advantages and highlights. The hotel boasts an excellent location right by the Haihe River, with a dazzling array of high-rise buildings across the bank. As night falls, the city lights create a vibrant, New York Manhattan-esque urban atmosphere, making for a superb night view. Transportation is also incredibly convenient; you can walk to Tianjin's core cultural and tourism areas like Jiefang North Road and the Five Avenues. The surrounding old buildings are rich in heritage and diverse in style, allowing you to fully experience the city's charm by strolling through them. Furthermore, the interior of the rooms maintains the hotel's historical tone, with a unique vintage design that showcases its heritage in every detail. The immersive experience during my stay was truly impressive.
However, compared to its highlights, the problems exposed by the hotel are far more prominent, particularly in service management and facility maintenance. These issues are severely inconsistent with the hotel's historical reputation and positioning, which is unacceptable.
In terms of service management, the overall service awareness was extremely weak, lacking the professionalism and etiquette expected of a high-end hotel. Only the front desk staff at check-in showed acceptable attitudes; the service experience in all other areas could be described as perfunctory: the foreign doorman did not proactively offer guidance or greetings, and I never received even a basic greeting from any hotel staff I encountered. Throughout my stay, there was a pervasive sense of coldness and detachment, completely disregarding the guest experience, which is entirely at odds with the hotel's brand character. Even more off-putting were the chaotic service issues in the hotel's museum. As a potentially chargeable ancillary venue, it should be an important place to showcase the hotel's history and culture and enhance guest experience. Yet, there were instances of staff dereliction of duty: two male and one female staff member were clustered together, chatting loudly and heedlessly even with visitors nearby. They even obstructed the projection video playback area for extended periods without proactively moving. Another male staff member was sitting on a museum sofa watching videos with the volume turned up so high that it drowned out the hotel's introductory video, severely disrupting visitors' experience and destroying the venue's tranquil atmosphere and cultural immersion. It's hard to imagine how such a level of service management could befitting of a high-end hotel with historical depth, and even harder to understand why a charged venue would tolerate such lax management and inappropriate service.
Regarding facility maintenance, 'vintage' should never be an excuse for 'outdated facilities and lack of maintenance.' Various facilities in my hotel room clearly showed signs of inadequate maintenance, and oversights in detail severely diminished the overall guest experience: the towel rack was loose and wobbly, almost on the verge of falling off, posing a safety hazard; the sink faucet made noticeable abnormal noises when turned on and off, suggesting aging parts that haven't been replaced in time; switching shower head modes was very difficult and inconvenient, affecting daily use. Moreover, the wardrobe's space planning was highly unreasonable. While it's understandable to embed a safe within the wardrobe, it didn't adequately consider practical usage, directly occupying a significant portion of hanging space, making it inconvenient to store clothes. This highlights a perfunctory approach in both design and managementāneither considering the practicality of facilities nor making timely adjustments, completely disregarding guest comfort.
As a hotel steeped in historical heritage and held in high regard, the Astor Hotel Tianjin should have balanced the preservation of its historical charm with professional service and comprehensive facilities. However, during this stay, the lax service management and lack of facility maintenance not only failed to meet guest expectations but also damaged the hotel's brand reputation. I hope the hotel will address these issues, acknowledge legitimate guest feedback, strengthen staff service training and etiquette standards, improve its service management system, and thoroughly inspect and rectify all facility hazards. It should also carry out regular maintenance, optimize space planning and facility layouts to truly achieve 'a sense of history without feeling old, and historical depth with professional service,' living up to its brand legacy and guests' trust.

GGuest UserI've made it a habit to choose the Park Inn by Radisson Airport whenever I have an overnight layover. Not only do they provide airport shuttle service, but the rooms are spacious, the facilities are new, the surroundings are quiet, and the front desk staff are warm and polite. A special thank you to the driver who dropped me off today; he proactively helped me with my luggage and didn't leave until it was safely loaded onto the luggage cart. The Park Inn by Radisson Tianjin Airport branch boasts convenient transportation. A bus stop is just across the street from the hotel entrance, offering direct routes to the subway, making travel easy. Ordering takeout is also a breeze. Next time I have a layover in Tianjin, I will definitely stay here again!

TTulang2005What satisfied me most about this trip to Yangliuqing Ancient Town was staying in this blue brick courtyard B&B. As soon as I stepped in, the antique atmosphere hit me in the face. The blue bricks and black tiles, carved doors and windows, are full of historical charm, which immediately brought me back to the old times.
There are surprises hidden everywhere inside the room. The bed is soft and comfortable, and the bedding is clean and tidy, allowing me to have a good sleep after a busy day. The interior decoration is simple yet elegant, with a perfect blend of traditional and modern elements. It is fully equipped with air conditioning, smart bathroom and other facilities, allowing guests to enjoy the quaint atmosphere while maintaining the convenience of life.
The public area of āāthe homestay is also very cozy. There are tables and chairs in the courtyard of the quadrangle. In your spare time, you can bask in the sun, drink tea, and feel the peacefulness of time. The boss was very hospitable. He not only helped plan the itinerary, but also shared many local specialties. Every moment in this homestay is extremely comfortable. It is highly recommended to friends who come to Yangliuqing Ancient Town. It will add a different kind of warmth and beauty to your journey.

Replace disposable items. wifi: Each room has wireless network, fast
The speed is very fast. Room size: The room is quite big. If
It would be better to have more hooks on the wall of the room. Soundproofing: hotel room
The sound insulation seems to be not very good. Ask about the room facilities: The facilities in the house are complete, water, water
Kettle, TV power supply. Bed: The mattress is very comfortable and the pillows are soft.
Parking: Parking at the door is more convenient, probably because there are not many people staying in the hotel. Service: The front desk service attitude is very good and very serious and responsible.
PPakteemaThe four season Tianjin has the perfect blend of historic charm and modern facilities. I booked one of their spacious suites, which were decorated beautifully.
I received first-class service from the moment I arrived at the hotel until the moment I left.
Ms. Dephne Ng. , the manger, was very helpful and provided me a warm hospitality. She is very professional and always check if I receive everything I need. I was so impressed with the level of service and attention to detail.
The staff was also incredibly friendly and helpful, going above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable.
The room was clean, spacious, and well-appointed, with all the amenities I needed. The breakfast buffet was excellent, offering a wide variety of delicious options. I also appreciated the hotel's location, which was convenient to many attractions and very close to shopping streets, department store and restaurants.
Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a fantastic place with excellent service to stay in Tianjin.

MM30563****The hotel's overall style is great, and the facilities are comprehensive. The front desk service was excellent and very thoughtful; they upgraded our room to a corner view room with stunning scenery, perfect for photos. The bathroom was also spacious. All the staff were very enthusiastic, and when we checked out, our luggage was too heavy, so they even helped us load it into the car. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay! This was my first time visiting Tianjin from the south, and I really experienced how incredibly hot northern China's floor heating can be...

GGuest UserThe hotel is situated in the suburbs, but there is a metro station within 500 m from the hotel. It will take you about 1.5 h to get to the city center by metro or about 50 minutes by taxi (DiDi). Neat the metro there is a big shopping center where you can find everything you may potentially need (those desserts from Holiland are amazing!) The breakfast is very tasty and you can definitely find something tasty to eat both from local cuisine as well as some Western-style things. The room was clean and spacious. I enjoyed the stay and had a possibility to relax.
