Hotels With Breakfast in Pest, Hungary

I stayed here for 12 nights as I arrived late at night the check in was so fast, and all was good as it was clean at the Maverick as they have alot to get involved in with things happening on different nights like 🎱 pool , quiz nights and also have a kitchen what is a good thing if you like to make your own food as they are only one negative that I have was they didn't change my bedding for 12 nights I was there but all in all I would still recommend the Maverick to friends or anyone that travelling to Budapest

We got our luggage delayed by the airline and the front desk was super helpful and helped us to call the airline company several times. The room is spacious and clean. The location is excellent and the view from the room is good too.

Hospitality at this hotel is pretty much non-existent, especially for what I'd expect of a Novotel. It starts with having no doorman. You'll see this a few times in others comments. They give you one water bottle in your room. Don't expect them to replace it throughout your stay though. That'd be a lot to ask. Room service? I'm not sure if they cleaned the rooms during our stay. They did make the beds. That's about all. When I asked where I might find water, I was rudely directed to purchase a bottle from the restaurant. This is unheard of to me. Filtered water should always be freely provided. The breakfast was also quite mediocre. Huge lineup for coffee, no brewed coffee, which would be quicker to serve. Staff not around. For the price, the breakfast is certainly not worth it. Not a great experience. I won't be returning.

The room is large, comfortable and warm, the breakfast is rich and varied, the environment is beautiful and pleasant, the front desk is friendly, you can store your luggage, and you can walk to the bus, subway and food court

Mixed stay. I really didn't sleep well. It's not the hostels fault that people come home late and make noise, but I didn't sleep well because of it. Fantastic fulky stocked kitchen. Really easy to cook for yourself. Nice lobby area which is really comfortable. Shower wasn't so clean, tons of bugs in the sink. Only 2 toilets for the men on the whole floor? Kinda odd. 5 showers which is enough. Room is ok. Big cupboard (bring a padlock) bed is comfortable. Pillow is absolutely abysmally uncomfortable. 2 sockets next to the bed. Fantastic air conditioning. Check in is a hard 3pm. That is not flexible at all so plan your time. The hostel organizes social events via its whatsapp group and seems to have a lot going on. Location is pretty good. Limited bar/club noise and it's walkable to many spots. It's in the Jewish quarter around 5 minute walk to Astoria. Staff seem amiable enough. But truthfully I had limited interactions with them. 6 bed mixed dorm room.

The hotel’s location is quite convenient, being close to Keleti Metro Station, which provides easy access to Budapest’s main attractions. However, the room I stayed in (on the 5th floor) felt somewhat outdated and didn’t meet the standards expected of a 4-star hotel. There was even a brief power outage during my stay (on December 7). Additionally, the cleaning crew didn’t seem to put much effort into the daily room cleaning. On the positive side, the check-in/-out process were smooth and breakfast service was decent, with a variety of Western options such as scrambled eggs, hash browns, and sausages, alongside traditional Hungarian dishes. I would recommend the hotel if the management considers a facelift for their older hotel rooms.

This is a nice 4 star hotel overlooking the Danube on the Budapest side of the river. Superior rooms are at the front of the hotel, which is the newer part. You have a choice of River View or Castle view, River view is better and attracts a supplement. Our reservation through Trip mentioned Castle view and River view, but you cannot have both! Breakfast is a good choice of hot and cold food, nice coffee and cakes. Rooms are well equipped, clean and serviced daily. Good hot water. Bathrooms have a bath with over bath shower. Toiletries are provided. Towels changed daily. Rooms have safes, kettle with tea and coffee making facilities. The TV was a Cable TV and had a variety of channels, one English, BBC. The hotel has a bar and restaurant and a gym. Staff are very helpful, we managed to check in early and upgrade our room to one with a River view. A good selection of nice restaurants are within 10 mins walk. The hotel is situated directly beneath the Castle, access by the steps or via the funicular which is 5 min walk along by the river, alternatively large buggy vehicles operate a hop on hop off shuttle service. We found that the Bolt taxi service (bit like Uber) is very good. We has a freelance taxi driver try to scam us by not using his meter, we refused to pay and invited him to call the police. Avoid freelance taxi drivers and make sure they use their meters. Bolt uses an app and was a lot cheaper than the price the hotel informed us if we used their taxi service. ALL the staff of the front desk is very helpful and nice. I arrive on the morning and they help to check the availability of the room. They allow the customer to have early check in early when the availability of the room is OK. Everything of the hotel is good. I recommend other people to stay at this hotel when they come to Budapest. I will stay again in Hilton Budapest when I visit there again.

I stayed 1 night in a 4 bed with private bathroom room. I really liked it, the bed was very comfortable and I could have private space thanks to its curtain. The bathroom was also clean, though I found it a little bit too small. The location is also perfect, so I can only recommend. What I didn't like was that the towel is not included - you can rent it for extra cost. This should be removed from the description of the room amenities and also the pictures are misleading.

The hotel is in a great location, right by the Danube River, with a view of the castle on the opposite hill. You can take a walk along the river in the evening, which is very comfortable. The breakfast is particularly rich and delicious, and it is Marriott quality. The front desk staff is also very enthusiastic. However, as a room in Budapest that costs more than 2,000 yuan a night, the area is really small, and the bathroom is also very small, which feels a bit depressing. The cost performance is not very high.

The hotel is gorgeous!! Breakfast spread was alright; nothing too special but the architecture of the space was very lovely. The live classical music was an added bonus. We had issues with the shower and after two attempts to fix it, we were moved to another room. We appreciated the gesture. The weather was extremely hot and it was very unpleasant to be out but we were able to walk down to the port in 20 mins, so the location was great. We tried to get in a spa treatment but it was fully booked, we should've pre-booked before arriving! All in all, a lovely few days.

This is a well-established five-star hotel. The rooms are old, but clean and comfortable. The breakfast is good and you can enjoy it slowly. Most of the guests are retired elderly people. The best thing is that the hotel is in a great location. The scenery outside the window of the river view room is as beautiful as a postcard.

First time in Budapest and we decided to spend our first night at the Rock Hotel. The hotel has an outstanding location, walking friendly to many tour sites and restaurants. The room we booked isn't that spacious and we barely had enough space to store two 28inch suitcases in our room. But we still had a good experience here, memorable parts are the record player and the comfortable bed. As a five-star hotel, it is slightly more affordable than some of the others, given the price we spent, I would rate our experience a 9/10.

The hotel is on the Buda side, next to the Chain Bridge, and has a good location. The room with a bridge view was on the second floor, which is a bit low. You can walk across the bridge, and the attractions on the Pest side can be reached on foot. (But if you just want to choose a hotel with a view, this location is a bit tasteless. If you want to see the Buda Castle and the Fisherman's Bastion, you can choose the Intercontinental and Marriott on the Pest side for hotels of the same level. If you want to see the beautiful scenery of the Fisherman's Bastion, you can choose the Hilton next to the Fisherman's Bastion. There are many related recommendations.) The hotel service is very good. There is a welcome wine when checking in. The room is very clean, with complete toiletries, slippers, free coffee, and a bottle of local Hungarian wine. In addition to some simple buffets, breakfast can be ordered according to the menu. It is very delicate and the taste is average. There is a very famous local restaurant on the top floor, but I didn't eat there due to time. Overall, it is a good hotel.

It is located in the Jewish district. There is a horror house attraction nearby. The attraction was once the office of the Nazis in Budapest. Many items are worth seeing.

Excellent hotel just a few minutes walk from metro stations and the historic center of Pest! Small SPA, but well equipped! A building that reflects the atmosphere of the city, an excellent solution for a relaxing weekend! Approved
